We arrived perfectly on time for the boat tour and got in the parasailing gear after a couple of minutes on the water. The parasaIling was amazing and exciting - a great pleasure!!! We participated as a couple. The shuttle driver was a super cheerful Japanese man. He said he could only speak English, but he was very proactive and kind. When we arrived at the harbor, it seemed like the previous group hadn't returned yet, so we waited for the boat. After a short wait, we set sail. Everyone else, mostly white couples and families, was chatting happily with the instructor, and I felt a bit envious... We flew in pairs, but since we were the fifth group out of five, I got a bit seasick during the wait. Everyone, including us, chose the highest altitude.

When it was finally our turn, the view was amazing, and it felt like we were floating. It was quiet, and I didn't feel scared at all. However, I still felt a bit nauseous from the seasickness, which was disappointing. It's better to take motion sickness medication beforehand.

Although it was an extra charge, they took a lot of photos with a digital camera, and we made great memories. At the end, they told us we didn't need to tip since we purchased the photo data at the harbor office, but I left a little something anyway.

いざ自分の番になると、とても景色がよく、ふわふわと飛んでるみたい。静かで風を感じて怖さは全くありませんでした。ただ船酔いしてたので気持ち悪さもまだあってそれだけが残念でした。酔い止めは飲んでいった方が良いです。
有料ですがデジタル一眼で写真も沢山撮ってくれ、良い思い出ができました。最後に港の事務所で写真データを購入したから、チップはいらないよ～と言ってくれましたが少し置いてきました。

Since I was staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village, the departure port was very close and convenient, and the staff were very cheerful and kind, so even if you don't understand much English, you can still enjoy yourself! However, I was quite anxious because I couldn't confirm my reservation. I made a reservation for the 10 AM departure the next day through VELTRA in the evening. I thought I would receive a confirmation via the web or a call to my mobile, but there was no news even after 9 AM on the day of. In the end, when I checked with the organizing company, they said I would receive a call from VELTRA shortly. After 30 minutes without any contact, I called the organizing company again, asked for VELTRA's contact information, and confirmed with them. It turned out that the 10 AM slot was fully booked. The 11 AM and 12 PM slots were also full, so they said there was availability at 1 PM, which I reluctantly accepted. We experienced this with a couple of elderly people, our daughter, and our granddaughter, making a group of four. The course is 110 meters long, but this refers to the length of the rope. Depending on the wind, the parasail can come close to directly above the boat, reaching nearly 110 meters in height; if it drifts, it won't reach that height. During our participation, there was a north wind, so when we returned from offshore to Waikiki, we went higher compared to the members on the way out. However, since it feels like you are "floating" in the air, I don't think you'll feel scared. Since Waikiki is on the southern coast, if you want your face to look good in photos, I recommend boarding when heading out to sea. On the way back, the lighting is somewhat backlit, so your face may appear darker in the pictures. The crew took about 40 photos for a fee of $30, and this price applies whether you are a group of two or four. What I don't understand is the "tip." On the boat, there was a note in Japanese stating that "the fee does not include tips," which I believe means they want tips from Japanese customers. In such services, I’m not sure how much to give, and I ended up giving more than I intended. Many Americans did not seem to give tips, but it would be helpful to know the standard.

Everyone except us spoke English!! In the bus and on the boat, it was filled with fast-paced English, and even the English I thought I could understand was completely incomprehensible, but I managed to go with the flow. Since we're all human, we somehow made it work.

With an upbeat energy that you don't find in Japan, let's fly!! She was screaming in fear and kept her eyes mostly closed, but that really got a laugh from everyone else. It was a fun adventure! It was 90 meters, but there was plenty of time, and I was completely satisfied. I recommend getting the photos (an additional $30). They ask if you want to take pictures just before you fly or if you need an SD card.

I said, "Sure!! So many pictures please!!" When I got back, there were 150 photos!! Amazing. There are some black spots in the images, possibly from sand or water droplets, but the quality is top-notch. When zoomed in, you could even see each hair on my shins (laughs).

I definitely want to participate again when I go back to Hawaii, but she says she doesn't want to do it anymore! (laughs) Since tips are not included, I gave $10 to the boat staff and $5 to the shuttle driver, but I wonder if that was too little. I was a bit broke and didn't have much cash on hand...

Wow, what an experience! It's the only way to describe the feeling. Out of the choices we did 1000ft. Now it sounded pretty high but that's the only way to do it! Go big or go home! The views of the bay and diamond head were so awesome. The driver kills the engine a few times and it feels like a roller coaster ride. When you're in the air, it doesn't matter that you are so far in the sky and the boat looks so tiny. Such a rush! The guys are super cool and do offer to take pictures for you for a cost. It was like $30 for almost 200 pics. I had a waterproof camera and snapped some pics but not the same. Whatever floats your boat. Also remember that the longer the line, the longer the ride! And when you come back to the boat, you get dunked in the ocean, so refreshing! I was lucky to ride again with a single guy who was doing 300ft. Not even close to the same feeling when you're so much higher. I hope this review helps.

It was both of our first times surfing, and we were excited and nervous. The instructor didn't speak Japanese, which made me even more anxious about whether we would understand, but they taught us in slow and gentle English, so we were able to grasp everything.

We practiced on the beach and then headed into the ocean!

The instructor pushed us hard when the waves were good, and I was able to stand on the board and ride the wave on my first try! It was just exhilarating!

After that, the instructor sent us out alternately, which made me feel very secure.

Riding the waves was of course fun, but just floating on the board while waiting for our turns and the waves with my friend felt amazing!

An hour flew by, but by the end, my arms were at their limit, so one hour was just right for beginners.

One thing I definitely recommend is to use sunscreen!!! I don’t usually burn easily, so I didn’t apply much, but since we were lying face down in the water the whole time, my calves and the backs of my thighs got really burned! If you don’t want to get too much sun, please apply sunscreen generously on the back side.

I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

2人ともサーフィンをするのは初めてで、ワクワクドキドキ。。
先生は日本語を話せない方だったのでちゃんと分かるのか更にドキドキしましたが
英語がたいして分からない私達でも分かるように、ゆっくりと優しい英語で教えて頂けたのでちゃんと理解することが出来ました。

始めビーチで練習をしていざ海へ！！

先生が良い波の時におもいっきり押してくれるので、1回目でボードの上に立ち波に乗ることが出来ました！！
そりゃもう爽快のひと言！！！

その後も友達と交互に先生が送り出してくれるのでとても安心感がありました。

波に乗ってる時ももちろん面白かったのですが、
友達との順番待ちと波待ちの為にボードの上でプカプカ浮いて居るだけで最高に気持ち良かったです！！

あっという間の１時間
しかし、終わる頃には腕に限界がきていたので初心者には1時間がとてもちょうど良かったです。


ひとつ絶対にした方が良いと思うのは、とにかく日焼けどめです！！！
私はあまり日焼けに抵抗が無いので、そんなに塗っていなかったのですが、
なにせずっとうつ伏せで海に浮かんで居るわけですから、ふくらはぎ、太ももの裏側がものすごーーく焼けます！！
あまり焼けたく無いという方はこれでもかって言うくらい、裏側に日焼け止めを塗って下さい。


また機会があったら参加したいです。

Among the trip to Hawaii with five guys, this activity was particularly memorable and truly addictive. The view of Hawaii from 150 meters above is indescribable, and I highly recommend experiencing it at least once!

I got lost on the way to the meeting point and ended up being late, but they quickly accommodated me by rescheduling to another time.

This activity is quite easy and can be completed in one hour. I participated in the 9 o'clock course and was back at the harbor by 10. The meeting point at the harbor is just a short distance from the Hilton Hotel. It's a bit hard to find, so I recommend arriving early. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable activity.

Parasailing was my first experience, but the staff's instructions were easy to understand and they were very friendly, so I had a great time! There was a service (for an additional fee) that took pictures of me while I was on the ride, which made for wonderful memories!

we opted for convenient pickup from our hotel which arrived on time however if you choose to drive - the parking lot seemed empty at the marina. The crew was super friendly and it was a short ride out to open water. Plenty of photo opportunities for Waikiki Beach, surfers and Diamond Head as you had in and out. It wasn't long until the parachute was out and we're up in the air. We did 800 foot line. It's exhilarating yet peaceful up there with great views of the entire island. We were only up there for a few minutes. The crew does take 15-30 pictures while you're up there and will sell it to you for $30 on 4GB SD, which I recommend against it if you already have a GoPro or waterproof camera. Overall I'll say it was a great experience and I do recommend it during your stay.
We'll definitely do this again but with the 1000/1200 foot line.

This was my first time participating! Although I have a fear of heights, I wanted to feel the wind and sky of Hawaii, and thought I might be able to do it if I was with my husband, so I decided to join!

My husband was okay with going higher, but since it was our first time, we signed up for 90 meters!

There were a total of five groups: two foreign couples and families, a Japanese couple and family, and us.

We were quite anxious since we don't speak any English, but the staff, including the drivers, could speak a little Japanese, so there were no problems at all.

The staff helped us with putting on the equipment, so without any explanation, we were ready to go up into the sky!

During the parasailing, I was a bit scared thinking it might sway or feel floaty, but it was hardly like that, and it was incredibly fun!! I was very satisfied to feel the beautiful sea, blue sky, and the wind of Hawaii!

I highly recommend it to everyone!

We also requested photos! We had some fun expressions during the water splash moments that we had never seen before. They took a lot of great shots, which became wonderful memories.

I was worried about seasickness, but I took motion sickness medicine and tried to look as far away as possible, and it was totally fine.

The staff's service was great, so I definitely encourage everyone to participate! Next time, I will challenge myself to go a little higher!

９０メートルに申込みました！

参加者は外国のカップルと親子の２組と
日本人カップルと家族、私たちの合計５組でした。

私たちは英語が全くダメなので不安でしたが、
スタッフの方は送迎の方も含めて日本語が少しできるので
何も問題なかったです。

装具をつけたりするのも全部スタッフの方がしてくださるので
何も説明がなくてもすぐに空へGO!でした。

パラセイル中、揺れたりふわっとしたりするのかなと少し恐怖感がありましたが
ほとんどそんなことはなく、めちゃくちゃ楽しかったです！！
きれいな海と青い空、ハワイの風を感じることができ大満足！

みんなにもおすすめしています！

写真も頼みました！
水ポチャの瞬間とか見たことのない楽しそうな表情の私たちでした。
本当にたくさん連写でとって頂き、いい記念になりましたよ。

船酔いも心配しましたが、酔い止めをしっかり飲み
なるべく遠くをみていたりしたら全然大丈夫でした。

スタッフの方の対応も良いので、ぜひ皆さんも参加してみてくださいね！

We were on a boat with a foreign family of five, two Canadian women, and a Japanese newlywed couple. We ended up going last in line, and since the boat was moving around quite a bit during everyone’s parasailing, I felt a little nauseous. However, once we were up in the air, it felt great to see the distant Waikiki Beach. It was a bit startling when the boat swayed to the right and left, but I was okay. The family ordered a $30 photo, but we decided to take pictures with the newlyweds and exchange them later via email.

It was an attraction.
It was quite high and thrilling.
The view was beautiful, and I was satisfied.
I got the impression that Japanese people tend to go higher because they are smaller in stature.
The waiting time for the boat and the return car felt long.
Overall, the waiting times in America were long, especially.

I asked someone to take a picture with my camera, but they said it would cost $30, so I declined.

It was my first time parasailing in Hawaii, so I was nervous, but I was relieved that my broken Japanese was understood and there were Japanese instructions available. There were four groups of participants, and everyone was very kind, waving when we took off and applauding when we landed. The atmosphere was very friendly throughout. It felt amazing while flying too!

I was greeted pleasantly by Kerri as soon as I got there. I checked in and didn't wait long before we got on the boat. While I was a bit nervous and scared of heights, I can tell you that this is a safe activity and far more fun than I could have imagined. The guys on the boat were great and friendly to talk story with. The views were absolutely stunning of the Waikiki skyline and I could see sweeping views of Diamond Head and the southern portion of the Ko'olau Mountains. This is way more fun than being on an airplane! I highly recommend parasailing for people who love water sports or just want to have a good time.

I have never been parasailing before, but what a way to get introduced into it! We had some of the best crew on the boat and a great and knowledgeable driver there. I would totally recomend Hawaiian Parasail to anyone!!

Oahu Two Tank SCUBA Diving Boat Tour for Beginner Divers - Waikiki Dive Center

Awesome Scuba Dive!

All-in-all, I recommend this tour from Waikiki Dive Center. They have great instructors!

When I first walked into the dive shop it was fairly clean, but a little disorganized. The displays were a little difficult to reach and could be made better by putting out a single style and have customers ask for a size from the stock to sell in the back.
Everybody there was pretty nice, and very laid back. It was busy so I could understand that things were running late.
Once we got our gear, our driver Waylon took us to the boat at Kewalo Basin. He was friendly and nice to talk to but this is for scuba diving so don't expect a flamboyant tour bus operator.
The initial instruction was done by Gracie. She was really nice and did a great job at explaining things to keep everyone safe and having a good time. This was my first time and I had a little anxiety, but the breathing in scuba diving really is like yoga breathing. It was very calming, a different world in the ocean. I kind of felt like an astronaut. We had two dives, and everyone was very helpful in instructing us. Lacey worked with my group. She was nice and very much about safety for us newbies. We saw all kinds of sea critters. I took it easy and did the 'yoga' breathing and it turned out quite well.
If you want your scuba certification, Waikiki Dive Center is a great place to get it. This first intro dive counts towards it, so you're practically half way there already.
Nice people + Nice scuba diving = Awesome!
