The breeze was pleasant, and it was a very enjoyable cruise! The captain spotted a whale and chased after it several times. From a distance, we could see the spray and the tail!
At one point, the boat stopped, and those who wanted to swim went into the water. We didn't swim because we thought it might get cold after getting out of the sea.
Indeed, during this time of year, it gets chilly after sunset. I was glad I brought a long-sleeved jacket.
Also, the night view of Waikiki was very beautiful!
I would love to join again if I have the opportunity.

I was wondering if I would be able to see anything in December, but I boarded the boat with a little hope. The cheerful and polite staff welcomed us warmly. With anticipation, I set sail, feeling the pleasant breeze and gazing at the coastline of Waikiki Beach. However, as time went by, my feelings became complicated with disappointment and sadness about not being able to see much. But when the boat finally reached the point where dolphins gather, everyone started taking pictures, and somehow that helped distract me a little.

As for my thoughts, I felt that we needed to go a bit further out to see more. Also, since the boat rocked quite a bit, I thought medication would be necessary.

The tour was conducted only in English, but even for us, who hardly speak any English, we managed just fine. It's not guaranteed that you'll definitely see whales, but they extended the time by about an hour beyond the scheduled time, and we were able to see them. I was really happy that they were so flexible.

Even though I had seen Waikiki from the ocean on TV, the actual scenery was amazing. Even if we hadn't seen any whales, it was a tour that left us completely satisfied! If I come to Hawaii during the whale watching season again, I will definitely want to join this tour.

My friends and I had a blast on the Ke Kai Waikiki sunset cocktail cruise, and seriously can't wait till we can go again!

The boat's brand spanking new and seriously comfy, and the drinks? Tasty and on tap! Props to the crew for keeping the glasses full and snapping awesome pics. Heads up, though, the nets mean splashes if you're cruising to Diamond Head. I got totally soaked, but it was part of the fun!

Sunset views? 10/10. Oh, and don't forget to wear sandals or flip-flops since you have to take off your shoes and walk through water to get on board the boat :)

Hella chill vibe, perfect sunset, and a splashy adventure, and I totally recommend it!

I have been on large ships for dinner cruises, but I rarely have the opportunity to ride on a sailboat or a yacht with an outboard motor. I was also surprised by the restroom on the boat. Be careful not to drink too many Mai Tais, as you might get seasick. We departed from the beach, but the meeting point is somewhat difficult to find for those not staying at the Halekulani or Sheraton, so it's better to scout the location in advance. The team at Waikiki Sailing were a well-oiled sailing machine! The directions provided in the confirmation email were clear and easy to follow. Check in was smooth and the beach boarding only splashed us up to our shins. We decided to sit on the catamaran netting on a particularly windy day and were warned about getting splashed multiple times. We endured the soaking and had an amazing time, plus the crew helped grab our empties and snacks so we could continue to enjoy. I recommend Waikiki Sailing 10,000 times over!

Personnel were wonderful. Great energy for having a fun time. The view of the city at night is spectacular as was the sunset. The food was okay. It is difficult to plate for the number of passengers and have it delivered hot in a timely manner. This was better than some experiences but not the best, which happened in Europe. Overall, it was a fun evening in a beautiful city.

The staff were approachable, friendly, and respectful.
The music was fire. The playlist included a mix of old and new music across genres. One staff member was HILARIOUS! I danced, laughed, had three drinks, and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Definitely something I’d enjoy doing again.

As someone who scours reviews making sure to pick the right one, I definitely recommend this sail!!!

The crew was fantastic and extremely helpful the entirety of the trip. The boat fits a good amount of people but is still small enough to feel like you are not lost in a crowd. When leaving the dock, we saw a big group of surfers and then sailed along the entire coast up to Diamond Head. We saw a beautiful sunset, and even a pod of Hawaiian Spinner dolphins on our way out! After the sun sets, you get a great view of the city lit up at night and a beautiful view of the moon as well.

Great selection of drinks, first one is free (additional alcohol for only $6), and it’s not your usual cheap beer/wine but actually a full bar with great spirit choices!!

The price of the tour is extremely fair and we definitely would recommend this specific charter to any friends and family!!!! Thanks Moana Catamaran for a great evening!

Overall, the sunset, the ocean, and the scenery of Waikiki were all amazing! Since it was an all-you-can-drink option, I enjoyed as much beer and wine as I wanted, which really lifted my spirits. I drank a lot of wine. There wasn't any information in Japanese, but maybe that was a good thing. It depends on the weather, but if it's nice, I think you'll create wonderful memories.
