I saw it two years ago, and this time I watched it from the Diamond Seat. As expected from a Hilton show, the level of the dancers was high, and my whole family was very satisfied. The backstage tour is truly a VIP experience. The "green room" pass handed out at check-in, the table code, the table napkins, and the survey forms are all green.

Upon entering, I was guided to the green room where I was surprised by a welcome from Michael Jackson! I even got to take a photo with him. I enjoyed welcome champagne and snacks while chatting with a hula dancer.

After a while, the manager came to guide us. We walked through a hallway with the performers' schedules posted and finally headed to the stage.

I could see the audience dining through a thin curtain. They showed us how to change the stage lighting and change colors, and explained that the performers enter and exit through a stretch curtain. It was a space unlike anything I had ever seen.

Backstage, there were many costumes for quick changes. They explained that each performer has to change in a very short time, which conveyed the difficulty of their work. I got to wear a large headdress for Tahitian dance. It was so big that I discovered I had to maintain my balance while dancing.

薄い幕越しに食事中の客席が見えます。ステージのライティングの指示をして　色を変えて見せてくれたり　演者の出入り幕がストレッチであることを教えてくれたり　見たことのない空間でした。

舞台袖には　早変わり用の衣装が沢山置いてあります。それを　各々が自分で本当に短い時間で変えなければならないと説明してくれて　出演者の大変さが　伝わってきました。タヒチアンダンスの大きな髪飾りを被らせてもらいました。大変大きいので　バランスをとりながら踊らなければならないという新しい発見もありました。

2年程前にこのショーを観て　とても感激したので　今回はバックステージツアーにしました。知らない世界を見て　演者さんとの距離が縮まったような気がして　前回以上に楽しむことが出来ました。

ステージの裏側は、日常では見ることの出来ない世界です。とても素晴らしい時間を過ごさせてもらいました。

I participated in the backstage tour and VIP dinner course (front row table seats) with my parents in their 70s. Honestly, I thought it was quite expensive when I signed up, but I'm glad I participated.

Overall, my impression is that the level of the show was very high. The singing was powerful and enjoyable, and the performance quality was impressive. It was not just imitation; the content was quite authentic, and I was entertained until the end without getting bored. The hula dance level was also high and very impressive.

Additionally, the food was delicious! I had low expectations for the meal at a show, but it was very satisfying.

両親に今回のツアーで何が一番良かったか聞くと
父も母もこのショーを挙げました。
私自身も楽しめましたが、両親が楽しんでくれたのが何よりうれしかったです。

スターオブホノルルのディナーショーにも参加したことがありますが
ショーの質、料理の質、どちらもこっちの方が高かったように感じます。

Since opportunities to visit Hawaii are rare, I chose the highest option in the VIP green room. The backstage tour is explained by the manager in English only, so if you can't at least understand the basics, you might miss out a bit.

The food, including lobster, meat, and dessert, was all delicious. Being in the VIP section meant we were in the front row, and the intensity of the show was breathtaking! I considered the cheaper tickets on the second floor, but I have no regrets at all. Being up front allowed the performers to come over for handshakes, and the service was great.

It seems that people line up about an hour in advance to get good seats on the second floor.

しかし、これほど感動し、ハワイを楽しめるものがあるなんて、想像していませんでした。

ハワイに行けるチャンスは滅多にないので、VIPのグリーンルームで1番高いものを選びました。
舞台裏の案内は支配人が英語onlyでの説明なので、最低限のヒアリングができないとちょっと勿体ないかもしれません。

食事は、ロブスター、お肉にデザートと、どれも美味しかったです。
VIPだと最前列でしたので、ショーの迫力は圧巻！2階の安いチケットと迷いましたが、後悔は一切ないです。
前にいると出演者が握手に来てくれたり、サービスも良いです。

2階はいい席をとるがためか、1時間ほど前から並んでいるようです。

ダンスだけではなく、ハワイらしくファイヤーパフォーマンスもあり、少しハラハラしました。本気の演技です。

演奏される曲は常に変わっていくかもしれませんが、映画のスティッチをみて曲をしっかり知っておくと、より楽しめると思います。
モアナの曲も良かったです！

その他、有名な曲もあり、ショー自体は英語が苦手な人でも楽しめる内容です。

First, we were able to have a close conversation with the performers while enjoying champagne and snacks. We were guided backstage, where we received instructions in English and had photos taken at each step. Since the course included one cocktail per person, we enjoyed our meal while drinking Chi Chi and Hawaiian beer. And finally, it was showtime! Since it was a special occasion, we were thrilled to shake hands and high-five with the performers. The show was incredibly fun from start to finish, creating unforgettable memories! If you're unsure about which show to attend, I highly recommend this one!!! You will have a great time! Thank you for the wonderful dinner show. When I mentioned it was our honeymoon, we received a surprise bottle of champagne, and I was very touched by that thoughtful gesture. The waitress was also very attentive, and I left a generous tip.

The Rock of Ages show was my first time attending, and it was truly high in entertainment value and wonderful! Since I love shows, I didn't hesitate to choose the VIP course with a backstage tour. It was a very interesting experience, as we received explanations just for the two of us in a private setting, and we got to take photos on stage! The shuttle service was reliable, and the bus arrived on time. The driver only spoke English, but since I had printed the Veltra voucher in advance, I was able to just hand it over, which was very convenient as I didn't need to engage in conversation. The staff at the reception also spoke only English, but they kindly provided a note in Japanese regarding the meeting place and time for our return, which I appreciated. Up to this point, not knowing English was not a problem.

Initially, we were guided to a luxurious green room where we took commemorative photos with an MJ impersonator. I was thrilled to shake hands with them. There were some snacks provided, which were delicious. I was happy that a female staff member spoke to me in simple English. Thank you, Momo-chan. (She seemed to be a dancer, and I wish I had taken a photo with her...) After that, a male staff member came, and the backstage tour began. Even without knowing English, I could somewhat understand what was around me, but I noticed another Japanese group who understood English perfectly, laughing and nodding along, which made me think, "If I could speak English, I would understand more details and enjoy it even more." I wish I had worked harder on my English during my student days!

From the stage, I could see the guests with meal plans enjoying their food, which made me excited to think about the view from the cast's perspective. We were able to wear drums and hair ornaments typically seen in Takarazuka and take commemorative photos. A camera is a must. It was truly a wonderful experience to see places that are usually off-limits.

Since the show starts after the meal, it's better to finish eating beforehand to focus on the performance. The restroom is a bit far, so I recommend going there at least 10 minutes before the show starts. About five people got up to use the restroom after the show began, which was quite disruptive!

The show started with hula dancing and transitioned into a tribute show in the second half. The visuals matched perfectly, making it wonderful. I recommend it for those who say, "I've seen regular hula dancing, so I want to see something new!" Embarrassingly, I didn't know much about Elvis, but MJ's singing was incredible, and I only knew "Thriller," which he performed beautifully. The female singer who sang "Moana" was exceptionally talented, and I was most impressed by how beautifully she sang live! All the dancers were excellent. I almost found myself more captivated by them than the main impersonators. The female singer in the chorus was also incredibly skilled, harmonizing beautifully with just two of them.

Since our seats were right in front of the stage, Elvis, MJ, and the female singer who performed "Moana" came over to shake hands, which was exhilarating. The front row on the first floor offers great service to the audience, creating wonderful memories. Elvis also went to the second-floor seats (only the front row) to shake hands.

At the end, there was a fire show. Being in the front row, I could see the sweat on their faces and the intense expressions as they focused, which was so powerful that it took my breath away. The show was incredibly dynamic and enjoyable.

After the show, the stars (Elvis, MJ, the female singer, and the fire performer) were waiting for us, and we could take photos with them. 食事の後にショーが始まるので、それまでに食べ終えた方が集中して見れるでしょう。トイレまでやや遠いので、ショー開始10分前には行かれた方がいいと思います。ショーが始まってからトイレに立つ人が5人くらいいましたが、結構迷惑ですよ！！
ショーの最初はフラダンスで後半はモノマネショーでした。映像とうまくマッチしていて素敵でした。「普通のフラダンスはもう見たから新しいフラダンスを見たい！」という人にお勧めです。恥ずかしながら、エルビスのことは存じ上げなかったのですが、ＭＪは歌がすごくうまくて、唯一、スリラーだけ知っており、似ていて感動しました。モアナを歌った女性の歌手はめちゃくちゃうまくて、生歌でこんなにキレイに歌えるなんて！！と一番感動しました。ダンサーは全員うまかったです。うっかりするとメインのモノマネ歌手よりそっちに目を取られてしまうくらいでした。コーラス担当の女性歌手もめちゃくちゃうまいです。二人しかいないのに上手にハモっていました。
座席がステージの真ん前だったので、エルビスもＭＪもモアナを歌った女性歌手も握手に来てくれてテンションが上がりました。一階最前列は観客へのサービスがあるのでいい思い出になりました。エルビスだけは二階席（最前列のみ）にも握手に行っていました。
最後にファイヤーショーがあります。最前列だったので、顔に浮かぶ汗まで見え、精神を集中させる表情まで見えて、思わずこちらも息が止まるくらいの迫力でした。ショーはすごく迫力があって楽しかったです。
ショーが終わると、スター（エルビス、ＭＪ，女性歌手、ファイヤーショーの人）が待っていてくれるので、一緒に写真が撮れます。このプランには写真が付いてきますが、別のプランだと写真は購入になります。写真を買った人だけは、最後にスターのサインをもらえます。すごく素敵なショーだったので、スターに直接お礼と感想を言いたかったけど、英語ができないことがこんなにもどかしいと思う日が来るなんて思いませんでした。どのスターも笑顔で一緒に写真を撮ってくれて嬉しかったです。ＭＪは自ら握手をしてくれて本当に嬉しかったです。ファイヤーショーの人は体調不良で、私たちの写真の順番がきたときに退場されました。私たちで最後だったので「えええ！！」とショックでしたが、めちゃくちゃ急ぎ足だったので限界だったのでしょう。緊迫感あふれるクールなショーだったので、一言感想を言えなかったのが残念でした。他のスタッフ3名にも写真を撮れなかったことを謝罪され、気を使っていただけたのは嬉しかったです。早く元気になられていることを願います。
記念日ならショーを間近で見れるＶＩＰコースがいいと思います。とても素敵な思い出になります。小学生くらいの子連れなら、エルビスもＭＪも知らないでしょうし、二階席でも十分かなと思いました。とても素晴らしいショーだったので見に行けてよかったです

During our trip, all optional tours were canceled every day due to the hurricane, and all bus services were suspended, so we couldn't do anything. We quickly booked this show instead.

We were able to create wonderful memories. The show featured many nostalgic songs. My mother, who is over 70, was singing along and having a great time. The content was enjoyable even from the second floor. After the show, there was a handwritten autograph service for the photos we purchased with Michael and Elvis. They also allowed us to take pictures with our smartphones afterward. My mother was especially happy, so it was truly great.

I've been to Hawaii several times, but this time I'm participating with my mother in her 60s and my child in their 40s. This is my mother's fourth trip to Hawaii.

During past stays, she has done shopping and an 8-hour sightseeing tour, so my not-so-active mother isn't really into shopping a lot, and she feels like she's already seen enough sights.

I chose this show for my mother, but I didn't have high expectations about whether she would enjoy it. However, she was the most excited I've ever seen her on this trip. Every time I come to Hawaii, I've been curious about this show, and I finally got to participate. I signed up for the backstage monitor tour, and it turned out to be an incredibly fun and happy experience beyond my expectations.

その後のバックステージ見学は、とても新鮮な体験でした。

Since I participated during the New Year period, it felt different from the usual place. I enjoyed the sunset and the evening atmosphere at that time. I chose a great seat, right in the center at the very front, and it was moving to see the hula dance up close.

The food was served buffet style. There was a wide variety, including salads, meats, rice, noodles, and desserts. I could order up to three drinks with a ticket, so I ordered Mai Tai and beer.

There were many types of hula dances, and I was able to see about ten different groups perform. The beautiful movements of the hula were very captivating, and the powerful dances by the men using fire sticks were impressive as well.

For dinner, we opted for the buffet since it was around the time we would be eating anyway, and it was pretty much what I expected. In hindsight, I think it might have been nice to join after having something at a restaurant during happy hour. The tables were cramped, there were a lot of people, and waiting in line for the buffet was tiring. The variety of dishes was decent. I tried some things I don't usually eat, like Ahi Poke and Lomilomi Salmon, and they were delicious.

The show started with a Polynesian theme, set around Elvis landing in Hawaii. MJ also made an appearance. Since both of them have passed away, we can't see the real ones, but I enjoyed the American entertainment; the singing and dancing were great. I was satisfied.

I wonder if it was just Elvis and MJ? It would have been nice to see GAGA or Taylor Swift as well. I wish I knew who would be performing and when.

Since it was our honeymoon, we decided to go all out and booked the most expensive VIP plan. The location is on the 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center next to the Sheraton Hotel in Waikiki, which is very easy to find. We were supposed to meet at 6 PM, so we arrived about 10 minutes early and showed our voucher at the reception, and they let us in right away.

There were about 15 participants in the VIP course, with 7 of them being Japanese. At 6 PM, we went to the green room… and immediately shook hands and took photos with a Michael look-alike. After that, we enjoyed some light snacks while sipping champagne and relaxing.

About 10 minutes later, the backstage tour began. The explanations were all in English, so I couldn’t understand much. I could catch a few familiar words here and there, but it was mostly just a vague understanding. We also got to wear some props used on stage and take photos.

After the backstage tour, we were guided to the front row seats right in the center of the stage, and the meal started. The menu included lobster, steak, dessert, and one premium cocktail of your choice. We were seated around 6:50 PM, and since there was an hour until the show started, we could enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. However, due to the Christmas crowd, the food took a while to come out… I didn’t have high expectations for the taste, and it was about what I expected.

At 8 PM, the show started. It began with Hawaiian songs and dances, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and then Elvis and Michael came out, which got everyone excited. After the show, we took commemorative photos with the cast and looked at the exhibits. Since it was Christmas, there was even a Santa wearing an aloha shirt. By this time, it was around 9:20 PM, and thanks to the temporary olioli trolley running for the year-end, we were able to return to the hotel quickly.

Even after returning to Japan, I want to see that powerful dance again! Photos were allowed, but it was really disappointing that video recording was prohibited. Putting the food aside, if I go to Hawaii again, I will definitely book this show again.

裏を回った後はステージ前のど真ん中、一番手前の席に案内され食事スタート。
内容はロブスター、ステーキ、デザートと、選べるプレミアムカクテル一杯。席に案内されたのが18時50分くらいで、ショーが始まるまで１時間あるのでゆっくり食事が出来ます。しかしクリスマスで人が多いせいか料理が出てくるのが遅く…味もあまり期待はしてませんでしたがまぁこんなものかという感じでした。

20時になりショースタート。
初めはハワイの歌や踊りで歓迎ムード満載、その後エルビスやマイケルが出てきて大盛り上がり。歌がかなり上手い！！さすがにマイケルの高い声は厳しいようでしたが…。
歌がわからなくても、観客を楽しませる演出盛りだくさんです。
握手したり生花のレイを貰えたり、サプライズがあったり…一般席の方もランダムで握手などしていましたが、ここらへんはVIPコースにして良かったなと思いました。
特に、バックダンサーの踊りがすごい！！とにかく近いので、ダンサー一人一人の表情や細かい動き、振動もすぐ側で感じられて、とても大迫力でした！！ショッピングセンターで無料のダンス等見ましたが、それとはレベルが違います。

ラストはファイヤーショーでこれまた大迫力！え、そこまでするの！？とデンジャラスで疾走感ある踊りを見せてくれました。その後キャストの紹介をして終了です。

終了後はキャストと記念撮影したり展示を見たり、クリスマスなのでアロハシャツを着たサンタもいました。この時点で21時20分くらい、年末でolioliトロリーの臨時便が走っていた為すぐにホテルまで帰ることができました。

日本に帰ってきても、あの迫力ある踊りをまた見たくなります！写真はOKですが動画撮影禁止なのがすごく残念。料理は置いといて、次ハワイに行くことがあれば間違いなくこのショーを予約します。

This was my sixth time participating. In the past five times, I only had the premium cocktails and show tickets. While that was enjoyable enough, this time I participated in the VIP seats for the first time as part of the monitor tour. I had a valuable experience visiting the backstage and taking photos while wearing the performers' decorations. The lobster from the course dinner was delicious, and the tenderloin steak was also very tasty and tender. I was able to enjoy my meal slowly while sipping cocktails.

The show was incredible, with the performers I always watched from the front row right in front of me... It was just moving! I could feel the stars' breath up close, and it was truly a wonderful stage. After experiencing this, I definitely want to be in the VIP section next time as well.

もう、感動！感動！スター達の息遣いを間近に感じられて本当に素晴らしいステージでした。この経験をしてしまうと次回もVIPでお世話になりたいですね。

Pony, who attended to us, provided a very pleasant explanation of the room and services. Gavin, the boss, gave an interesting explanation of the costumes, equipment, and lighting backstage. Both were in English, but I was able to understand. The food served at the stage side was also tasty.
