This was my first time using the service. Until now, the pickups to the hotel had been quite early, so I was ready 10 minutes in advance this time as well. However! Even 5 minutes before the scheduled time, no one had arrived; at the exact time, still no one… even 5 minutes late, no one showed up… I started to feel anxious. The voucher mentioned to call if there was a 15-minute delay, but I called at the 5-minute mark! The airport was really crowded, so I wanted to arrive quickly! Then, 10 minutes later, an empty van finally arrived. It was late!!! Those 5 or 10 minutes felt incredibly long. The Asian driver didn’t offer any apology or explanation, so it was unclear whether it was a delay or a mix-up. There was only one other group that boarded from a hotel closer to the airport, so we arrived at the airport sooner than expected. However, if there had been issues with picking up passengers at the maximum of five hotels, I don’t know what would have happened… The journey from the airport to the hotel didn’t go smoothly either, so I’m not considering a repeat. It’s more reassuring to go with a major company. I learned a lot from this experience.

これまではホテルへの迎えは指定時刻より かな～り早めだったので、
今回も10分前にスタンバイしておりました。
しかし！5分前になっても来ない、ジャストになっても来ない…5分遅れても来ない…

空港も激込みなんだから、早く着きたい！
それから10分後に、空のバンが来ました。遅い！！！
こんな時の５分１０分てとてつもなく長く感じますね～
アジア系のドライバーさんからは詫びや説明が無かったので、遅延なのか、誤手配かは不明です。
あと1組、空港寄りのホテルから乗り込んできただけだったので、空港へは思ったより早く着きましたが、
最大の５軒のホテルをまわって、乗る客がいたりいなかったり、など悶着があれば
どうなっていたかわかりません。。。
空港からホテルまでも すんなり行かなかったので、
もうリピートは考えておりません、大手さんの方が安心ですな　(*‘∀‘)
経験して、よい勉強になりました。

Finally, as my time in Honolulu was coming to an end and I was just about to head back, I realized I had forgotten to book my shuttle service. The shuttle bus here was quite frequent and was very accommodating even for such a sudden request. Additionally, when the driver was loading our luggage onto the bus, he mentioned that if I lifted it, we wouldn't have to worry about the weight limit at the airport. This made us chuckle, as we were quite concerned about our luggage weight. I would definitely like to use this service again on my next trip.

いよいよ、ホノルル生活も終わりあとは帰るのみだったところで、送迎の予約を忘れてしまったことに気づきました。こちらのシャトルバスは、本数も豊富でありそんな突然の対応にも応じてくださる良心的なシャトルバスでした。それから、運転手の方が荷物をバスに積んでくださる時に、私が持ち上げれば空港での重量制限に引っかからないわと一言、結構荷物の重さを気にしてた私たちにはクスッと笑わせてもらいました。また行く時には利用したいです。

I waited a little in front of the group entrance, but I was able to move smoothly! I’ve used it various times, and since there were a decent number of people, getting my suitcase in and out was also smooth. I would like to use it again for casual trips.
