This was my fourth trip to Hawaii, but it was my first time experiencing a full-fledged dance and dinner show. I think the concept was "traditional Hawaiian cuisine," so I can't honestly say it was "delicious," but it was a good experience.

I had allergies, so I contacted the address listed on the website in advance, but I received no reply. Even after sending a reminder, I still got no response. However, on the day of the event, when I mentioned, "I have allergies," they responded with something like, "I know, leave it to me!" and brought out dishes that accommodated my allergies. To be honest, I would have appreciated a reply if they had seen my email.

Also, it was disappointing that the scallop dish turned into a salad mainly consisting of baby greens (and without any dressing at all), which felt like a significant downgrade in the menu.

That said, the show itself, including the dance, was wonderful, and I was glad I paid a little extra to secure seats closer to the front! (The venue is quite large, and if you're at the very back, you're pretty far from the stage.)

After the show ended and we finished our meal, we left, but there were others taking photos with the dancers, so I think it's a good idea to speak up if you want to take pictures.

4回目のハワイ旅行でしたが、本格的なダンス＆ディナーショーは初めてでした。料理は「ハワイの伝統料理」がコンセプトだったと思うので「おいしい」とは正直言えない感じでしたが・・いい経験になりました。

アレルギーがあったので事前にHPに載っていたアドレスに連絡するも返信なし、リマインドするも返信なしでしたが、当日「アレルギーがあるんだけど」と伝えたら「知ってるよ、任せて！」みたいに言われて、アレルギー対応された料理が運ばれてきました。メール見たなら返信欲しかった、というのが正直なところでした。
そして、ホタテがベビーリーフメインのサラダ（しかもドレッシング等いっさいかかっていない）になるなど、かなりランクダウンなメニューになってしまったのも残念でした。

ただ、ダンス含め、ショー自体はすばらしく、数千円上乗せして前の席を確保してよかったと思いました！（結構会場は広く1番後ろだとステージから結構遠いので）

ショーも終わり、料理も食べ終えたところで私たちは帰ったのですが、ダンサーさんたちと写真を撮ってる方もいたので、撮りたい方は声をかけてみるといいと思います。

The expensive seats are of course close to the stage, but I thought it was a good deal to be guided to the front rows if you line up early in the regular seats. The area is flat without any steps, and you watch the show while eating at a U-shaped buffet. There were six dancers and one host, which felt like a larger group than I expected. Both types of seats had the same buffet options. It seemed like the people in the expensive seats took their food first, followed by those in the regular seats. One fun service was that they offered to draw tattoos on your arm with a magic pen if you wanted!

This time, I participated in my first trip to Hawaii with a Diamond Premier seat. With priority entry, I was able to sit right next to the stage, and it was an impressive show filled with the spirit of Hawaii! The food was also available to us first, and both the taste and portion size were great. However, everything from the entrance announcement was in English, so I couldn't understand the MC's jokes, which was a bit disappointing. It was a moment that made me realize the necessity of English conversation at my age. If the budget allows, I think it's better to participate with a Diamond Premier seat. Regular seats enter after the Diamond seats, and since the seating is further back, you can't feel the dynamism of the show.

今回は、初めてのハワイ旅行で、ダイヤモンドプレミアシートで参加させてもらいました。
優先入場で、席もステージの横で見ることができて、迫力があって、ハワイ感満載のショーでした！
料理も優先的に取ることができて、味もボリュームも問題ありませんでした。

Highlight of our holiday!

We thoroughly enjoyed the live singing and cultural experience.

The venue was next to Sheraton, we opted for premium seating which had front row seat to the show and more drinks.

The bartender who clearly wasn't happy to be there (there's table service we found which were much more pleasant), so we avoided the bartender there onwards.

The food was lovely except for the 2nd course where 4 sources of protein were served (chicken, fish, pork and something else) and it was heavy.

The highlight were the singing and dancers, we had a really lovely time and the weather was superb with the beach background and gosh what a beautiful sunset.

I wanted to see the show from a good seat, so I chose the Diamond Seat. The seating arrangement was not as shown in the seating chart, which surrounded the stage; instead, it was a standard setup with the stage directly in front and tables facing it. I arrived 30 minutes before the reception, but there was already a long line. I mistakenly lined up in the Golden Seat line because I wasn't sure where to queue. It seemed that those with Diamond Seats had priority entry, and we ended up being the last to enter among the Diamond guests. Fortunately, there was an open table in the front row, almost in the center, so we were able to sit there, but please be careful not to make a mistake in the line.

Before the show, there were solo hula performances by both men and women, followed by a moment where all the guests danced a hula together. Then came the buffet. Since we could access it first from the Diamond Seats, it was nice and not crowded.

The show featured not only hula but also Tahitian, Polynesian, Maori, and fire dancing, which kept us entertained until the very end.

The Diamond Premier Seat is a bit more expensive, but I think the satisfaction level is high, so I recommend it.

ショーの前に男女それぞれソロのフラがあり、その後、客がその場で全員で1曲フラを踊る場面がありました。
そしてブッフェ。
こちらもダイヤモンドシートから優先で取れるので混まずに良かったです。

ショーはフラのみでなく、タヒチアン、ポリネシアン、マオリ、ファイヤーダンスがあり、最後まで飽きること無く楽しめました。

ダイヤモンドプレミアシートは少しお高くなりますが満足度は高くなると思うのでおすすめです。

It was enjoyable to see the participants from various countries gathering in their colorful aloha shirts. The children were delighted to receive leis and have tattoos drawn on their arms. The dancing was more authentic and sophisticated than what I saw on the dinner cruise. The food might have been better on the dinner cruise. One downside was that participants had to wait in a long line before the event started.

With the Royal Hawaiian Hotel behind us, we enjoyed a hula dance show in a charming square while learning about Hawaii's history. All the guidance was in English from the reception, but the staff were warm and welcoming, making for a very comfortable experience. The staff came to our table to confirm drink orders, and dinner was served buffet-style, allowing us to help ourselves. During the welcome activity, we could freely visit a corner showcasing traditional Hawaiian crafts from our table, taking photos and having fun. People from various countries gathered around their tables, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of an American garden party. The food was delicious, and the show was substantial, making for a truly satisfying experience!

I watched the Hilton's luau show for the first time in a while. I made a reservation for an event during Christmas in Hawaii after three years. I felt like there weren't many Japanese people there yet. The show had great seating and was wonderful. The food was satisfying for me, especially since I had been lacking vegetables since coming to Hawaii.

I reserved a front-row seat. The host only spoke in English, so I couldn't understand anything they were saying... but I knew this in advance and could get the vibe, so I accepted that. The problem was the food.

After the drinks were served, the appetizer? It was served in a bento box-like container, and it was bad. Then we were served a plate with a mix of chicken, beef, and pork. Not many people around me finished their meals. We paid nearly 100,000 yen for this meal. What a letdown. The show itself was only good during the last 15 minutes. I was glued to the fire dance, but before that, it was a bit dull.

I booked this hoping my kids, who are visiting Hawaii for the first time, would feel the essence of Hawaii, but I'm not sure if it was worth the hefty price.

Loved experiencing this right in Waikiki! The location at the Royal Hawaiian hotel was really convenient (no long bus rides) and the food was 10 out of 10. It started to rain a bit during the show and within minutes, the servers brought out towels to everyone so we could stay dry and catch the last bit of the show. Service was fantastic. Would recommend the extra to get the Premium seating closer to the stage.

We got the premium tickets and actually got sat front and center which was great for our kids (4, 6 & 8). That also meant though that one side of the table was blinded by the sun for the first part of the show until the sun dipped below the trees (small price to pay for front and center). We didn't realize that with the premium tickets even the kids got extra drink tickets that could be used for juice or alcohol. My kids were never going to drink that many juices so we used them to get a few extra Mai Tai for us...but word of advice if you wait for the server to get the drinks you will never be able to get through your tickets because they are split between so many tables so grab them from the bar yourself. The show was great my kids especially liked the fire dancers. The food was just ok but we expected that as it's hard to serve that many individual plates at once. The only thing my kids would eat was the shredded pork and fruit so if you have kids who are picky eaters make sure they eat a little something before hand.
