SO MANY TURTS!

The experience was brilliant from start to finish. When we first arrived, we were worried there was no clear booth for arrival, but THEN like Maui himself on the ocean, the catamaran came out of the waves and docked right on the beach! The friendly crew checked us in, told us to grab some snacks if we wanted and then got us onboard.

They said if we wanted a fun, but wet, ride, we should sit on the net at the front. We did, and got SOAKED by waves and it was so fun!

We got to turtle canyon and were given high quality snorkels and instructions. There were other groups there, only one of them were slightly annoying but there’s plenty of turtles to go around!

We saw more than 15 turtles, ranging from babies to grown ups. They got so close but don’t forget- don’t be a turtle toucher!!! They were so visible and it was a once in a lifetime experience. We are still in Waikiki and honestly considering doing it again!

Do not book ANY other turtle snorkel experience in Waikiki other than this one!!!

That was our first time Snorkeling and it was great. The crew was very nice and professional. All needed gear was provided and in very good condition. Drinks got served after Snorkeling. And yes we did see alot of Turtles.

I participated again because I had a great time last time (in 2018). You can see many beautiful fish. Above all, I was moved by the Honu that comes close to you. The Honu approaches you (laughs). This time, my family was the only Japanese participants. I feel like it was the same last time. I don't really like tours with a lot of Japanese participants, so I appreciate that aspect as well.

Easy and fun snorkel trip

Super easy and fun. Short boat trip with essentials provided to jump in, snorkel, and see some turtles. Crew was friendly and accommodating. Bring your own snacks, towel and fins too (only snorkel, mask, and floaty provided). Snorkel spot was a bit crowded with other tours but seeing honus did not disappoint. We say 7-8 turtles at one point, Amazing!

Great Boat & Crew….BUT.

Had a great time. BEST BOAT AND CREW I’VE HAD! Crew was fun, instructional and well-prepared. Handled us in an AWESOME manner with Aloha. The “big let down” was the sheer number of the other boats trying to come into the same small area. There were 7 other boats very close to us. I kept being bumped into by swimmers from other boats. It’s freaking ridiculous! And I know there’s nothing you guys can do to control that so I can’t hold it against you. But it would be nice if the tourism board or the county did some thing to limit it. Especially when your boat has been doing this much longer than the others.

I have waited my whole life to go to Hawaii. It was well worth the wait and a huge part of that is because of Manu Kai Waikiki Snorkel with Turtles Cruise. It was amazing!
The crew was professional, fun, and awesome. They made us all feel safe.
Next time I do this cruise I will bring my own snorkeling equipment. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer. The best part of this was being able to do this with my beautiful family. We all had such a great time and we look forward to our next visit to Hawaii to do it again.

I strongly recommend Manu Kai Waikiki Snorkel with the Turtles with Beers and Cocktails. You will be happy you did it. Oh yeah, the Turtles were magical it made me even more in love with Hawaii. I haven't been able to stop talking about it.

My family and I had a blast on our snorkel trip. This was our first time doing anything like this and it was amazing. We were able to see lots of fishes and turtles. The water was so clear that it made it so easy to spot fish. The captain and his crew were very professional and helpful. We had a great group of families with us and made the trip that much better. On another note we were able to see one of the crew members catch a fish on our trip. Fun time. Recommend for everyone to try.

Interesting experience

It took awhile to get comfortable snorkeling in the ocean where you can't just stand up if you want. Nervous that the waves would take me under the boat I could not relax. Our guides were wonderful and talked me thru it until I calmed down. After that it was quite an experience. Not exactly what I expected swimming around with turtles because they were swimming way below you but it was still cool. The fish also stayed down lower which after snorkeling where the fish come right up to you in shallow water was alittle disappointing. Afterwards the Mai tais and beer were good except my daughter was sea sick by then and only wanted to go to shore. Would recommend this cruise.

Communication was on point and kept us all in the loop prior to our cruise date. There were no issues is locating where we had to be.

5 staff in board were all really friendly, helpful and great advice. My son had issues with his snorkel once we were in the water and they helped us out straight away.

There were lots of turtles for us to see, the water was really clear the day we went. They came.so close to us, it was really amazing.
We had a wonderful time, My mum, myself and my 13yr old all really enjoyed ourselves.

I wouldn't take anyone not confident in breathing with the snorkel as it was a bit choppy when we were out there. The team was great from a safety aspect too with rules and regulations, not letting tourists do whatever they wanted and respected the environment.

Would 100% book again with this team.

We want to express our extreme satisfaction with the snorkeling tour we took with our family this morning (10:30 am tour). In particular, the crew of the boat (Junyah, Bella, Josiah, Julian, and Amos) were very professional and accommodating. We really liked that all of your staff were clear with their instructions, but also relaxed and light humored. We really appreciated the time and attention they gave to our daughter, Olivia, who was snorkeling for the first time and required a lot of additional attention. Even though we required extra attention, no one was rude or impatient with us - in fact, they were very kind and understanding. Thanks again to your crew for such a positive experience!

It is affordable

Like I said it is affordable. The kids running the boat we’re friendly an did the best they could. 22 people, some of which had not only never snorkeled, but were clearly uncomfortable in the water were too much for the crew to safely manage. I personally had to save a struggling passenger while the guy that was working the lifeguard shift was wrangling other dingdongs! Not the lifeguards fault he was just dealing with too many other folks and couldn’t get to the panicky woman fast enough. I don’t mind, I am a water rescue swimmer with my fire department but still… Her screaming for help couldn’t be heard over the clamoring of the other passengers on deck and the music playing onboard. When folks are in the water 100% attention to the swimmers is the only safe option and if you can’t hear them then the music needs to be off and eyes need to be on the swimmers. The operation was also billed as a sailing and snorkeling adventure with sailing being the key word for me. The wind was fine and other boats were sailing but our sails never went up. If you’re on a budget do it. but for 20-30 more you could do the same thing with a power boat, dolphins and turtles, food and water, and a photographer who would gladly sell you the images from the trip for a few extra dollars. In all honesty a confident swimmer could have reached turtle canyon in a easy half hour of swimming but that’s not for everyone.

For those of you who don’t swim, don’t feel comfortable in the water, or have small children that don’t swim. this is not how you spend your money. Endangering yourself or your family because “anyone can snorkel” in open water, when you’ve never done it before makes the trip that much less enjoyable for everyone including the crew. It is not their job to pay all their attention to you, and it becomes unsafe for everyone else.

Any chance to get in the water will always be awesome for me so like I said it is affordable. If it’s your best option yay!
