I felt quite restricted due to my lack of English skills. There were no Japanese participants. As for the whales, I was able to spot them surfacing about three times, but they were only the size of my fingernail for a brief moment, and they were too far away to take any pictures, which was disappointing. I suppose it's just luck, so there's nothing to be done about it.

As everyone mentioned in their reviews, the sea breeze was cold, and during the sunset tour in March, wearing an ultra-light down jacket was just right. There was no place inside the boat to shield from the wind. The strong swaying and cold, along with the surprisingly long duration of the trip, caused my mother, who is in her 70s, to feel unwell.

I would recommend this for those who want to "enjoy a leisurely cruise while feeling the sea breeze" rather than for whale watching! There were small children moving around the boat, but I was quite worried they might fall through the gaps in the handrails due to the significant rocking.

Last time I participated in a whale watch was in March 2018, but I didn't see any whales then. This time, I was able to see them several times, and I was moved to see whales for the first time. Although I didn't get to see them jump high, I did see them surface and blow water.

When we went out to sea, there were three parent whales and their baby, and they looked beautiful like in the pictures. Captain Nick and crew showed us a great time on our fourth consecutive annual November sunset cruise. Each one is a little different vibe. Sunday appears to be the best day for a more peaceful vibe. Great interaction with Captain and crew. The food is OK (catered boxes) but we started scheduling a post-cruise restaurant dinner last year at nearby Fresco and enjoyed that again this year. We plan to take this cruise every year!

It was helpful to have a departure point within walking distance from Hilton Hawaiian Village.
The swimming spot had a strong current, and I was overwhelmed with fear until I got used to it.
I was able to borrow a life vest from the boat (there was also a type that wraps around the waist).
When I tried to enter the water with a snorkel on, the staff told me it was not allowed.
I was struggling to enjoy myself in the strong current of the sea, but then other guests started putting on snorkels, and by the end, everyone was wearing them... it's still a mystery to me.

Once we got back on the boat, it was DJ time. The older guests from overseas were enjoying themselves with drinks in hand, but it seemed that my elderly Japanese parents couldn't enjoy it.

The captain and the friendly staff created a wonderful atmosphere on board, making for a very enjoyable sailing experience. We were able to see the streets of Waikiki from offshore, providing a different perspective and allowing us to capture memories with our cameras. One thing that concerned me was that I was asked to submit a paper "liability waiver" when making the reservation, so I searched for a facility to print it early in the morning and brought it with me, but in the end, it was not requested, and I left without submitting it (I was having so much fun that I forgot to submit it, haha). Thank you for the enjoyable time.

I made the right choice by joining this sunset cruise since I can't drink alcohol. We set sail at 5 PM and enjoyed about two and a half hours until sunset, and it was amazing to swim off the coast of Waikiki. The three young crew members operated the catamaran efficiently while ensuring our safety, which was impressive.

お酒が飲めないのでこちらのサンセットクルーズに参加して大正解でした。
夕方5時に出航してサンセットまで約2時間半、ワイキキ沖で泳ぐ事もできて最高でした。若い3人のクルー達が安全に気を付けながらテキパキとカタマランを操作する様子もカッコよかったです。
