This is my second time participating.
I can't speak English, but it's fun!
My 80-year-old mother joined me, and the staff and others around us supported us when getting on the catamaran.
We boarded while avoiding the waves from the sandy beach, but we still ended up getting wet up to our stomachs. Even in mid-July, the night breeze was cooler than I expected, so the beach towel I borrowed from the hotel came in handy as a blanket.
The fireworks were very beautiful, but the view of the hotel cluster at night from the boat was also lovely.
What stayed in my heart was unexpectedly how beautiful the stars floating in the night sky were.

英語は出来ないけど、楽しい！
８０歳の母も一緒でしたが、カタマランに乗り込む際、スタッフ他周りの方もサポートしてくれました。
砂浜から波を避けながら乗りこみますが、やっぱりお腹の辺りまで濡れてしまいました。７月中旬でも夜風は思った以上に涼しかったので、ホテルで借りておいたビーチタオルがブランケット代わりにもなり役に立ちました。
花火もとっても綺麗ですが、船上から眺める夜のホテル群もとても素敵です。
そして、夜空に浮かぶ星々が思いがけず美しかったのが、心に残りました。

A great late afternoon experience. Hats-off to the crew for their organisation, quality of experience and setup on the cat. The kids were entertained on the foredeck (pitching seas seemed to be their gig) with the fore cargo nets, the music was great (well, our era anyway). The drinks were appropriate for the event...champers, beer and "boat mix". All were totally acceptable.
We thoroughly enjoyed the sunset "open bar" cruise and would definitely do it again.

Captain Ian and all the staff were very kind. The captain's special high cocktail was really delicious! It was an amazing experience to enjoy the drinks while watching the sunset!

I grew up on Oahu and the staff brings true Aloha to this cruise. We came for a visit and celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday on board with local family and they were also impressed. 10/10 recommend!

The all-you-can-drink option was really great! I think it would be even more fun if you understood English, as it would help you connect with the people around you and the crew!

Since it's an all-you-can-drink deal, it's easy to drink too much, so that's something to be careful about! Snacks are also provided!

飲み放題でとても良かったです！　英語が分かった方がや周りの人や船員さんと打ち解けられてさらに楽しいかと思います！

ついつい飲み放題なので飲み過ぎますがそこは注意です！お菓子も配られます！

This was a great sunset boat ride for our family of five. The staff was freindly and helpful. They made sure everyone was taken care of. Beautiful views of the sunset!

We had the best time with this crew! My husband and I have done several sunset cruises in Hawaii and this one was by far at the top of the list! The crew was very fun, attentive, knowledgeable and kept the drinks flowing! What a great way to start or end your vacation!

And, we saw a full rainbow!!!

We are here celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and were looking forward to the sunset sail. It was absolutely amazing! The drinks were great and it was very relaxing. The staff were very attentive and polite. If we ever come back to Waikiki, we will definitely do this sunset cruise again and tell anyone we know that will be visiting here to hit up Moana Sunset Cruise.

The Captain and crew were very friendly, and although we were the only Japanese on board with announcements in English, everyone else was in a great mood, making it a very enjoyable experience. The unlimited Hawaiian cocktails and other drinks made for a fantastic time. I plan to ride again when I come back to Waikiki. Mahalo!

Captain＆Crewの方とても感じよく、英語のみのAnnounceで日本人は我々だけでしたが、乗船された方々がノリノリの雰囲気で大変楽しく過ごせました。Hawaiian　Cocktail等々飲み放題で最高のひと時でした。
またWaikikiに来たら乗ろうと思います。

However, it's cold due to the heavy rain... This time of year might not be ideal.

I went on a sunset sailing trip on the Mai Tai catamaran. I highly recommend it.

Check-in is done at the catamaran reception on the beach side of the Sheraton, and you board from the shoreline. Flip-flops and sandals are recommended!

Once we set sail, there was an unlimited supply of Mai Tais, beer, sparkling wine, and various soft drinks. The course takes you out to Diamond Head and then back towards Hilton Hawaiian Village, returning along the same route. You get to see Diamond Head from the side on the way back. That day was a full moon, and we were able to see both Diamond Head and the moon, as well as a pod of dolphins along the way. The view of the Waikiki hotel skyline turning orange was beautiful, and the sunset over the ocean was stunning (unfortunately, there were some clouds on the horizon that day, so the light path of the sunset wasn't as clear as it could have been). I think it would have been even more amazing if the weather had cooperated.

As seniors, our English skills were... well, we brought a Pocketalk translator but didn't end up using it. We just strung together the words we knew and managed to communicate somehow. It felt like we could get by.

We received a waiver to sign, which was sent to us, and I interpreted it with an online translation tool before signing. This seems to be a requirement, as they were doing it at the catamaran reception as well.

シェラトンのビーチ側のカタマラン号受付でチェックイン済ませて波打ち際から乗船。ビーサン、サンダルとかがお勧め！
出航してからマイタイ、ビール、スパークリングワイン、各種ソフトドリンク飲み放題です。
コースは、ダイヤモンドヘッド沖まで行ってヒルトンハワイアンビレッジの方まで戻り、帰ってくるコースです。ダイアモンドヘッドを横から見て戻ります。この日は満月でダイアモンドヘッドと月、途中イルカの群れにも会え、ワイキキのホテルの町並みがオレンジに変わる景色を楽しみ、海に沈む夕日が綺麗でした（残念ながらこの日は水平線に若干雲が湧き、夕日の光の道は綺麗に出ませんでした）天気に恵まれればもっと素晴らしかったと思います。
私達シニア世代で英語が・・・。ポケトーク持って行きましたが、使わなかったです。知ってる単語並べてなんとなく繋がった？まぁなんとかなるという感じでしょうか。
免責事項の署名サインが送られてきますが、ネットの翻訳ソフトでこれもなんとなく解釈してサインしました。これは必須のようです、カタマラン号受付でもやっていたようです。

This was my first time participating. I read in reviews that there were few Japanese participants, and indeed, there were only four of us on the boat. However, that added to the foreign atmosphere, which was great! The explanations from the captain and staff were in English, but I could understand the content through the overall vibe, so there were no issues.

As soon as we set sail, we were served Mai Tais (other drinks were also available for order), and everyone quickly got into the festive spirit with a toast. The background music was familiar Western songs that you would also hear in Japan, adding to the enjoyment.

During the trip, the captain put on an exciting show with some intense steering that splashed us with waves, and there was never a dull moment on the boat. I found myself naturally laughing and bonding with other passengers, creating a sense of togetherness.

As the sunset approached, the view of the sun sinking into the ocean was a breathtaking sight that could only be experienced from the sea. During my stay in Hawaii, I participated in various activities, but the sunset cruise became my favorite memory! I will definitely join again when I come back to Hawaii! Thank you very much.

One thing to note is that there are several similar catamaran cruise boats at Waikiki Beach, and I mistakenly went to the wrong one, arriving just in time for the meeting. Make sure to arrive with plenty of time to spare!

口コミでも日本人の参加が少ないとありましたが、参加の船も、日本人は私たち4人だけでした。
でもそれがまた外国感を感じられ良かった！
キャプテンやスタッフさんからの説明も英語ですが何となく雰囲気で内容はわかるので問題なしでした。
出航してすぐにマイタイが振る舞われ(他のドリンクも注文可)、皆んなの乾杯から一気に盛り上がります。(BGMも日本でもお馴染みの洋楽で楽しめます)
途中、キャプテンのアトラクション感満載の波を浴びる激しい舵取りで、笑い声の絶えない船上。
別の乗客の方とも自然に笑い合い一体感を味わえます。

そこからだんだんとサンセットが近づき、沈んでいく夕日は海からでしか味わえない感動の絶景でした。
ハワイ滞在中、いろいろなアクティビティに参加しましたが、サンセットクルーズな1番の思い出となりました！またハワイに来たら絶対参加します！
ありがとうございました。

注意点とするなら、ワイキキビーチには同じようなカタマランクルーズ船がいくつかあり、私は船を間違えて、集合時間ギリギリの到着となってしまいました。集合時間には余裕を持って行きましょう！

We had a great time watching the sunset sipping our drinks and talking to tourists about this amazing place. Everything went very smoothly on the boat, we were given great pointers about the boat and where to sit. Will do this again with my family. Thank you for a wonderful time!!

The sunset cruise in Hawaii was beautiful, and the all-you-can-drink option is recommended for those who enjoy alcohol. There were quite a few waves, so we were worried about getting seasick and took motion sickness medication before participating. Thanks to that, we didn't experience any seasickness.

ハワイのサンセットクル-ズはきれいでしたし、飲み放題はお酒好きにはおすすめです。波が結構あったので私達は船酔いを心配して酔い止めの薬を飲んで参加しました。そのおかげか、船酔いはしませんでした。

It became my best memory in Hawaii! The location is absolutely amazing! The all-you-can-drink alcohol was great, and the Mai Tai was delicious! The only juice available was canned guava. There are restrooms, so you don't have to worry about drinking a lot! If you're prone to seasickness, you should be careful! You will get wet up to your shins when getting on and off the boat! When I used Google Maps to get to the reception, it directed me to a street behind, so be cautious about that.

I experienced my first sunset cruise in Hawaii. The waves were calm, and I could see the cityscape of Waikiki, Diamond Head, Kahala, and even Coco Head in the distance from the sea. The Mai Tais were all-you-can-drink and delicious! Unfortunately, we couldn't see a beautiful sunset because it was cloudy, but we were lucky to see a beautiful rainbow along the way. After getting off the boat, there was a shower nearby where I could wash my feet, and I was able to go straight to dinner. I definitely want to participate again next time I go.

初めてのハワイ、サンセットクルーズを体験しました。波も穏やかで、海からみるワイキキの街並み、ダイヤモンドヘッド、カハラ、遠くにココヘッドも見えました。
マイタイは飲み放題、美味しかった！
残念ながら綺麗なサンセットは雲がかかり見れませんでしたが、途中、きれいな虹が見れてよかったです。
船を降りてからも、シャワーが近くにあり、足を洗うことができ、そのまま夕食に行けました。
今度行った時も是非参加したいです。

Last year, when I went to Hawaii, I saw it and wanted to try it this year, so I signed up. It was really cool and wonderful to see a woman at the helm. I participated with a friend, but my friend got seasick and regretted not taking motion sickness medication beforehand. Other than that, it was really fantastic. Thank you very much.

昨年ハワイに行った際に見かけて今年は乗ってみたいと申込みをしました。
女性が舵を取るのがとても格好良く素敵でした。
友人と参加しましたが、友人は船酔いをしてしまい酔い止めを飲んでおくんだったと後悔していました。

Very windy day but the crew did an excellent job getting people on and off. Ship was sparkling clean, drinks were so-so and most people were polite and fun to talk with. A wedding party of young people shared the cruise, all was good with the exception of one girl who felt she needed much attention. I'm surprised she didn't land in the water with he risky dancing/gyrating she performed on the front of the catamaran. If it were up to me, I would have asked her to settle down before she or someone else gets hurt.

Overall, a great cruise and would highly recommend this company - staff was outstanding!!!

This is my fifth time participating in the Mai Tai Catamaran sunset cruise, and I never get tired of it. Since it's a catamaran yacht, it doesn't heel, and enjoying the famous cocktails while watching the sunset is just the best. I plan to join again the next time I visit Hawaii.

マイタイカタマランのサンセットクルーズには5回目の参加ですが、何度参加しても飽きませんね。カタマランヨットなので艇がヒールする事も無く名物のカクテルを頂きながらのサンセットは最高ですね。また次回ハワイを訪れたら参加しようと思います。

The crew was great . Very welcoming , accommodating and friendly . The music was entertaining and the drinks were perfect ! The water became a little choppy , but the sunset view was still worthwhile and I'd definitely do this again sometime !

This was so much fun! The staff was very friendly and knew how to keep the good times rolling. The drinks were delicious & the scenery was absolutely gorgeous! I cannot hype up this place enough, coming back home after my vacation I’ve been telling all my family & friends if they plan on going to Hawaii anytime soon, this is the sunset sail to book! I have relied on Mai Tai Yacht many times before. It's easy to find since it departs from in front of the Sheraton, and above all, the boat is beautiful, clean, and "looks cool," which makes it one of my favorites.

Usually, on the afternoon of the day I arrive, I make it a tradition to feel "I've come to Hawaii!!" by greeting the full view of Waikiki and Hawaii's symbol, Diamond Head, from across the sea. However, watching the fireworks and the atmosphere of the night sea was "exceptionally wonderful!!!!" It became the most memorable event of this trip.

During the fireworks, cheerful music played, and everyone was excited, cheering loudly. After that, the boat slowly made its way towards Diamond Head, and the gentle night breeze felt pleasant on my skin. The dark silhouette of Diamond Head was overwhelmingly impressive, and the sparkling cityscape of Waikiki in the distance was beautiful. I was able to relax completely, filled with a sense of liberation.

Looking up at the night sky at that moment, I was able to do some stargazing and even saw the "Big Dipper," which was an emotional joy. The Mai Tai cocktail here was delicious, and I ordered several refills (the cups are cute too). The cocktail boy served them with a big smile, which is another happy memory.

Additionally, you can safely store flip-flops and personal belongings in the box behind the seat. I will definitely make a reservation again next time. Mahalo☆彡

マイタイヨットは、これまでに何度もお世話になっています。シェラトン前から出航するのでわかりやすいのと、何より船が綺麗で清潔で「見た目がカッコいい」のでお気に入りです。
普段は到着した日の午後いちに「ハワイに来た!!」を感じるべく、海の向こうからワイキキ全貌とハワイのシンボルダイヤモンドヘッドに挨拶をするのがお決まりなのですが、花火鑑賞と夜の海の雰囲気たるや「格別に素晴らしく！！！！」今回の旅行での一番の思い出に残るイベントになりました。
花火鑑賞中は陽気な音楽が流れて皆さんヒューヒュー言って大盛り上がりでした。
その後は、ダイヤモンドヘッド側へゆっくり長い時間をかけて船を走らせてくれるのですが、静かな夜風が肌に心地よく。真っ暗なダイヤモンドヘッドは圧倒的存在感で。遠くに見えるワイキキのキラキラした街並みもそれは美しく。もう開放感いっぱいに体中をリラックスすることが出来ました。
このとき夜空を見上げると星空観測もできて「北斗七星」も観ることが出来ました、この喜びは感動ものです。
こちらのマイタイカクテルが美味しくて♪何度もおかわりをしたのですが（カップも可愛い）カクテルボーイの方がずっと笑顔で提供してくれたのもそれも嬉しい思い出のひとつです。
なお、ビーサンや手荷物は背もたれの中のボックスに入れて置けるので安心です。
また次回も絶対予約します。マハロ☆彡

Really fun sunset sail. Free open bar with multiple drinks. Very fun sail into the wind/waves for a bit of excitement. Saw some whale spouts, beautiful calm return sail. Some fun music to keep the festivities lively. Not too crowded at all.
The meeting place was well described and the cruise was as expected. Would recommend and would also hope to return!

You take off your shoes and board the boat while getting a little wet from the sandy beach. There are benches that serve as shoe storage.

The marine toilet is equipped, but you can only use it for urination. Please pull the lever to flush.

Also, some splashes from the waves will come, so it might be tough to go to a fancy restaurant with those wet feet, but you don't need to wear a swimsuit.

A 5-year-old might be a bit scared, but children around the age of elementary school can enjoy it without fear. They serve drinks like gin, rum, and vodka mixed with Sprite, ginger ale, or orange-pineapple juice. Feel free to enjoy the all-you-can-drink option!

靴を脱いで砂浜からちょっとだけ濡れながら乗船します。ベンチが靴入れになっています。
マリントイレ装備ありますが、おしっこしかできません。レバーをシュコシュコしてあげてくださいね。
あとは適度に波飛沫も来ますのでその足で高級レストラン行くのは厳しいですが、水着である必要はありません。
5歳児は半べそでしたが小学校中学年くらいなら怖がらず楽しめます。お酒はジンラムウォッカなどをスプライトやジンジャエール、オレンジパイナップルジュースなどで割ってくれます。気軽に飲み放題してください。

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great, but there was a wide variety of drinks, and I enjoyed the humorous announcements as well.

あいにくお天気よくなかったんですが、ドリンクも豊富でしたし、ユーモアたっぷりなアナウンスも楽しみました。

There were other ships participating, but this was my first time. I got the impression that it was a solid company, as I checked in at the counter of the cruise company located in the hotel and went over the liability waiver. The sunset finally began on the return trip, offering a different impression from the outbound journey. They mentioned unlimited drinks, but I didn't particularly like the taste of the free drinks and couldn't finish one. Beer and champagne are available for an additional charge. Occasionally, there were large waves, so the ship had its unique rocking motion. I saw someone who couldn't move due to seasickness, so I think it's better for those who are really sensitive to have motion sickness medication. In any case, I recommend it for those who want to enjoy a luxurious 90 minutes of doing nothing.

他の船での参加はありましたたが、こちらは初めて。ホテル内にある船会社のカウンターでチェックインを受け免責についてチェックをするなどしっかりした会社という印象。サンセットは復路からようやく始まり、往路とはまた違った印象が味わえます。飲み放題とのことですが、無料のドリンクの味はあまり好みではなく１杯飲みきれず、ビールやシャンパンは別料金です。時々大きな波がくるため船独特の揺れはあります。船酔いで動けなくなった方がいたので本当に弱い方は酔い止めがあったほうが良いと思います。とにかく９０分、何もしない贅沢な時間を味わいたい方におすすめです。
