I was surprised by the sudden lift since I hadn't seen the previous person's experience, but once we were up, the view of Waikiki was breathtaking! We could see Diamond Head perfectly. It seemed like my husband, who has a fear of heights, and my child, who was initially scared, both enjoyed the experience. I have done parasailing several times, but this was the highest in terms of altitude and airtime, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely stroll in the sky! The top of Diamond Head was almost at eye level, and I was able to enjoy a view looking down on Waikiki, so I’m glad I chose the 150m parasailing. You do get dropped into the sea quite a bit, but that was fun too. The staff spoke a bit of Japanese and had a sense of humor, which made it enjoyable.
