From check in to check out, this cruise was absolutely outstanding. The crew took great care of every detail without making you feel micromanaged! You want to swim with turtles?! Sign up! You spend 1.5 hours snorkeling with these amazing creatures. Back on the katamaran, lunch was delicious and plenty of cocktails and soft drinks. Then sails up and sail and it was breathtaking! I really can’t say enough good about this cruise. I would do it everyday if I could! Thank you Capt Josh and your awesome crew for making this the experience of a lifetime! They go above and beyond to ensure it is the BEST experience!

Captain Ryan and his crew definitely do a great job!! You can tell they all love their job and give their customers 150% every time!! We got to swim with turtles and lots of fish and every time we saw Dolphins they would go chasing them to make sure we got a close look every time. The girls at the front desk were also very helpful and when we wanted to buy souvenirs they went out of their way to go upstairs and show us everything they had. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Since I came all the way to Hawaii, I decided to try learning how to surf. The board is big and heavy, which makes it stable, and I was able to stand up after just a few tries. You just go straight, but the beach is shallow, so even when you go out, you can stand up, and while paddling, the board's fins and your hands can touch the coral reef. The guide and the other guests were foreigners who couldn't speak Japanese, but it was no problem as long as they understood simple English. With fewer people, it felt like we could take our time during the main parasailing activity. It was high and scary, but I felt like we were flying for quite a long time. If I have the chance to go during the off-season, I would love to go again.

It was disappointing that the instructor who was in charge seemed to favor my beautiful friend. My friend also noticed this and mentioned that the treatment felt unnatural. Even though it was my first time, for some reason, my friend was leading while I was left stranded in the middle of the ocean, being told to make my way back on my own, which made me anxious several times. ^^ There were also many photos of my friend. Since the service was inconsistent, I’m giving it a lower rating. I do not recommend it.

Although the cloudy weather was disappointing, the staff were delightful and our conversations mixed with Japanese made for a very enjoyable time. Watching others from the boat, I was surprised at how quickly they ascended, but in reality, it was a smooth ascent without feeling any G-forces, which was very pleasant. They kindly took photos with my camera, and I highly recommend this experience. Don't forget to tip!

Great staff who made the trip lots of fun. Saw tons of turtles, though not a great variety of other fish - but I was there to see turtles, and so I was happy as can be!
Got a little woozy after being out on the ocean, and they immediately recognized it (without me having to say anything!) and offered me a dab of lavendar oil behind my ears/under my nose that cleared it right up.

Overall a great trip, highly recommend!

With clear skies and a gentle breeze, the view of Diamond Head and the hotel towers while heading out to sea on a motorboat was exhilarating. There were eight participants, taking off two at a time into the sky. The tension when taking off from the boat was thrilling—“Oh!”—it was unforgettable. After that, it felt like a dream. We are a couple celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, and we truly had a wonderful experience. The staff was kind and humorous, and there was nothing to complain about. The 150 meters was the most enjoyable part.

Unfortunately, the weather on the day was poor, and as soon as the boat departed, it started pouring rain. The waves were high, and the boat was rocking... I had to stay on board except when I was flying, and the seasickness from the swaying boat was overwhelming. The tour ended in the morning, but even after arriving at the hotel, I still felt nauseous until the evening, which was tough. Overall, the sunset cocktail cruise was excellent. The service staff was very attentive and would frequently go around the catamaran, refilling drinks and asking if you needed anything. The cruise itself did not take you very far from the pier, and stayed off the Waikiki coast, but still had an excellent view of diamond head and sunset. The appetizers were good, though not very substantial, consisting of chips, salsa, guacamole, salad, pasta salad, veggies, and rolls. Wouldn’t expect to get full from the food. The drinks were great, and basically free-flowing. Overall an excellent cocktail cruise

With a total of 5 groups participating, we had to stick together while each of us was flying, but I wish I could have stayed up a little longer. I requested 150m, but since I couldn't tell the difference from the others and we couldn't measure the length ourselves, 90m might be fine as well. In any case, the view is stunning and beautiful!

It takes less than 20 minutes to walk to the office from the Sheraton.
I filled out the participation documents, rented a rash guard and shoes, and received a video explanation of the precautions.
The staff explains in English, but there are subtitles in the video, so it's okay if you don't understand English.
After that, we headed to the beach.
At the beach, we practiced paddling and standing on the sand.
They teach you precisely where to position yourself on the board.
Once the practice was over, we actually went into the sea.
We paddled to the point (it's shallow, so you can stand...).
While waiting for the waves, the coach holds the board for you and pushes you out at the right moment.

初めてサーフィンをしましたが、幸い最初から立てたので、楽しい時間を過ごせました。
今回は一人で参加しましたが、他にも一人で参加されていた方がおり(日本人1人、アメリカ人のおばあちゃん!1人)仲良く話したりしたので、1人参加でも寂しくなかったです。
もっと上手になりたいと思いました。

他の方が書かれていた写真撮影はなく、せっかくサーフィンしたのに、何も形に残らないのはとても残念でした。
(有料でも写真は購入したかった。)
1人参加は撮影ないのかな？
必要ならオフィスで事前に聞いておくべきだと思います。

I had a pleasant experience thanks to the attentive service provided to everyone. However, I was asked if I wanted to take digital camera photos from the air for $30. I said it was okay for $30, but when we reached the shore and I thought I would pay at a hut-like place, I was told that those who were not disembarking immediately should get on the bus. It seemed like most people hadn’t paid.

I received the photo data on an SD card while on the boat.

It felt like everyone around me was left wondering as they were ushered onto the bus. I wonder if the payment is being processed later by credit card?

Hawaii! The ocean! Surfing! With that in mind, I chose this place based on the great reviews. I made a last-minute reservation, but I was able to participate without any issues. Although I made the mistake of being late for the meeting time, I truly appreciate the quick and generous response from the Veltra staff and the Hands Heedman staff that allowed me to join.

In the lesson, we first learn the basics of surfing through a slideshow. After that, we move to the beach for the actual lesson. All our belongings are stored in the office drawers. There are Japanese staff in the office, but communication during the beach lesson is primarily in English. However, they speak slowly, use body language, and even speak a little broken Japanese, so I think it's easy to understand.

For actual surfing, we use longboards, which provide a lot of stability. The instructor gives us instructions while pushing the board, allowing us beginners to stand up right from the start. We were able to catch waves multiple times after that. When I was able to ride properly, it felt amazing.

At the end, we rinsed off at the public shower on the beach and returned to the office. They also take photos during the surfing session. This time, we received them for free since there were two or more participants. They were provided on a CD. A person who participated alone purchased them for $10. I think the tip was around $10 to $20 per person. I regret not being able to give a tip because I was rushed in the morning and didn't prepare cash, even though they treated us very well. Most others seemed to have paid. I definitely want to participate here again the next time I surf in Hawaii.

ハワイ！海！サーフィン！ということで、口コミの良かったこちらを選択しました。直前の申し込みでしたが、無事参加できました。また、集合時間に遅れてしまうという失態がありましたが、Veltraスタッフさん及び、ハンズヒーデマンのスタッフさんの迅速寛大な対応で無事参加できたこと、本当にありがとうございました。レッスンでは初めにスライドショーで、サーフィンの基本について学びます。その後、ビーチに移動して実際のレッスンへ、という流れになっています。荷物はオフィスの引き出しに全部しまいます。オフィスには日本人スタッフもいますが、ビーチでのレッスンは基本英語でのコミュニケーションになります。ただ、ゆっくり話してくれたり、ボディーランゲージであったり、カタコトですが日本語も少し話してくれるので、十分理解できる内容になっていると思います。実際のサーフィンでは、ロングボードを使うので、安定感はかなりあります。インストラクターさんが指示を出してくれながら、ボードを押し出してくれるので、初心者の私たちでも初めから立つことができました。その後も何回も波に乗ることができました。ちゃんと乗れた時は最高に気持ち良いです。最後はビーチにある公共シャワーで体を流して、オフィスに戻りました。また、サーフィン中は写真撮影をしてくれます。今回は2名以上の参加で無料でもらえました。CDでの受け取りでした。1名で参加されていた方は＄10で購入してました。チップは1人あたり＄10〜20だったと思います。大変良くしてもらったのに、朝バタバタしてしまい現金の準備ができなかったために渡せなかったのが後悔です。他の方々はだいたい払っていました。次ハワイでサーフィンする時も是非またここに参加したいと思いました。

According to our shuttle driver, the captain of the boat is known as the "Hawaii No. 1 Captain," so I felt at ease. Right after boarding, there was an explanation in Japanese. The staff, although their Japanese was a bit broken, provided explanations in Japanese as well. They were cheerful, and I didn't have any particular concerns from start to finish. If you ask at the beginning, they will take photos for you. You can receive them on an SD card for $30. After the activity, they show you the photos, and you can purchase them if you like. If you start in the afternoon, depending on the time, the lighting may cause some backlighting, making the photos a bit dark.
