I previously rented a surfboard at Waikiki Beach and tried it myself, but it was quite difficult... So this time, I decided to join a surfing lesson. I participated in a two-hour group lesson. I thought two hours might not be enough, but once I actually did it, it was plenty of time. It really takes a lot of energy. The instructor pushed the board when the waves came, so I was able to ride the waves more smoothly than when I tried it on my own. With Diamond Head right next to me, the mood was fantastic, and it felt great! If I lived in Hawaii, I would want to surf every day and just relax. It's especially easy to get sunburned out on the water, so it's best to apply plenty of sunscreen. Especially on your back!

以前ワイキキビーチでサーフボードをレンタルし、自分でやってみたけど、これがなかなか難しい…。
なので、今回はサーフィンレッスンに参加してみました。
グループレッスンの２時間で参加しました。２時間じゃ物足りないかなとも思っていたけど、
実際やってみると十分な時間でした。結構体力消耗します。
インストラクターが波が来た時に板を押してくれるので、自力でやった時よりもスムーズに波に乗れました。
ダイヤモンドヘッドがすぐ横に見えて、気分最高だし、気持ちよかった！
ハワイに住んでいたら、毎日サーフィンしてのんびりしたいなーなんて思っちゃいました。
海の上は特に日に焼けやすいので、日焼け止めたくさん塗っておいたほうがいいですよ。背中は特に！

As soon as I started diving, a lot of beautiful blue and yellow fish gathered around, and I even got to see a shark. When I dove down to 120 feet, the sunlight couldn't reach, so the colors around me changed in interesting ways. The guide spoke Japanese well and made us laugh with jokes, making it a very enjoyable tour. It seems that it’s a bit chilly inside the submarine, so having a jacket would be a good idea.

潜り始めてすぐに青や黄色のきれいな魚がたくさん集まってきて、サメまで見る事ができました。120フィートまで潜ると、太陽の光が届かないので周りの色がどんどん違う色に変化していくのがちょっと面白かったです。ガイドさんは日本語が上手で、ジョークを交えたトークで笑わせてもらい、とても楽しいツアーでした。潜水艦の中は少し肌寒いので、上着があった方が良いみたいです。

I was excited to board the shuttle boat, but by the time we arrived at the submarine, I got seasick... I was worried about what was to come. However, once I boarded the submarine, there was no rocking at all (I forgot about the seasickness), and a mysterious underwater world unfolded before me, which was very moving. As we dove deeper, the color of the sea changed, and it was truly beautiful.

I think people who are prone to motion sickness should take some medication. Also, for women, there is a ladder to climb up and down in the submarine, so it's better to avoid wearing skirts.

わくわくしながらシャトルボートに乗り込んだまではよかったけど、潜水艦に到着するまでに、船に酔ってしまい…。先が思いやられました。が、潜水艦に乗り込んでからは、揺れも全くなく（酔ったことを忘れていた）、神秘的な海の世界が広がっていて、とても感動しました。深く潜るにつれて、海の色も変わっていく感じがして、本当に綺麗でした。
乗り物酔いしやすい人は酔い止めを飲んだほうがいいと思います。それと、女性の方は潜水艦ではしごの登り降りがあるので、スカートは避けたほうがよいですよ。

I had a feeling that the submarine cruise, which seems to pop up every time I look for resort information, was something we should try. My partner wanted to experience it, so I happily made a reservation. We set off from the lively beach in front of the Hilton on a stylish cruiser to the submarine offshore. The breeze felt wonderful. I thought it was a nice combination of the submarine and the speedboat. However, the waves were quite choppy (though everyone else seemed unfazed), and my partner's face turned pale. I knew it would be like this. Nevertheless, we boarded the submarine at this beautiful resort. Inside, it was very spacious with large windows. The visibility was decent, and there were some fish, making it somewhat enjoyable. Meanwhile, my partner lay back in a chair, occasionally looking out the window. Although feeling a bit queasy, it seemed like they were trying to imprint the scenery in their mind. That’s how it ended, but on the way back, we were told we had to take a bus instead of being driven back. I felt a bit unwell, but it turned out to be fun on the trolley-like vehicle. It became a nice memory.

リゾートの情報を見るたびに出ているような気がしていた潜水艦クルーズ。連れ合いが乗ってみたいというのでやったーと喜んで予約。。。。。とってもにぎやかなビーチであるヒルトンの前からクルーザー風のかっこいい船で沖合の潜水艦まで。風がとても気持ちいい。潜水艦と高速艇のセットとはいい感じなどと思っていました。ところが、波が割とあり（周りは平然としていたけど）連れ合いの様子も顔も真っ青。やっぱりね。しかし、せっかくのリゾート、そのまま潜水艦に乗船。中はとても広くて窓も大きい。透明度はまあまあだし、魚もまあまあ、それなりに楽しい。ところで連れ合いは、椅子に横になりながら時々窓の外を見ている。気持ち悪いけど景色を脳に焼き付けようとしているようだ。ということで終わるんですが、帰りは送ってくれずにバスに乗って帰ろという。ちょっと気分悪かったけど、トローリーみたいな奴で結果的に楽しかった。いい思い出になりました。

It was a great experience to ride a submarine for the first time. I was surprised at how freely we could move around underwater. If you're going to Hawaii, you definitely should try riding a submarine!
