We decided to see a hula and fire dance show during our first trip to Hawaii as a three-generation family. We researched online and read many reviews to choose which show to attend.

Honestly, regarding the food, it's better not to have high expectations, as others have mentioned; a buffet style usually offers this kind of experience. However, we were very satisfied with the show in terms of content and duration; it was truly a professional performance. The hula danced by the woman in the center and the fire dance by the men exceeded our expectations.

In the city and restaurants in Hawaii, it seemed that nearly 70% of the visitors were Japanese, but I think it was about 20% here. There were a few staff members who spoke Japanese, but since the only conversation needed was for drink orders, there was hardly any need to worry about communication.

３世代家族、初めてのハワイ旅行ということでフラ・ファイヤーダンスを見ることにしました。
インターネットで調べてどこのショーを見るか、書き込みなどを沢山見て決めました。
正直、食事については他の書き込み通りであまり期待をしないほうが良いですが、ビュッフェスタイルだとこんなものだと思います。
ショーについては内容・時間ともに非常に満足できるもので、まさにプロフェッショナルのショーでした。
女性のセンターで踊る方のフラと、男性のファイヤーダンスは期待以上のレベルです。
ハワイの市街地やレストランなどでは７割近くが日本人という割合でしたが、ここでは２割位だったと思います。　日本語の出来るスタッフも何人かいましたが、会話が必要なのはドリンクオーダーくらいなので、会話の不安は殆ど不要です。

I didn't have much time, and since we had a mix of older adults and children, I chose this option. I tried almost all the dishes, and they were all quite delicious. Considering the dance performances, I felt it was a good choice. (My young son started to look a bit bored during the show, but his eyes lit up during the final fire dance. He was amazed and watched intently.)

We drove there, and the parking was located in a building on the right side shortly after entering the premises. I realized that building was the Mid-Pacific Conference Center, and after getting out of the car, I took the nearby elevator straight up to the venue, which was very easy. (When I handed the parking ticket to a person in a light green aloha uniform inside the venue, they processed it through a machine and stamped it for free.)

For the tattoo experience (they were using regular markers), the kids each got hibiscus and honu designs, and my husband got a whale. They all turned out well and really lifted our spirits. If you're interested, I recommend lining up early since it's popular.

We were a group of six, and although there were still empty tables next to the stage, we were seated next to a couple who were already there (behind them). It was a bit disappointing not to be right up against the stage, but I suppose the empty tables were reserved for larger groups, so it couldn't be helped (one table was for ten people, and we ended up sitting with eight—my group of six and the couple).

I was happy to wear the fresh flower lei the whole time, but other members kept asking, "Can I take it off?" and "It's cold," and ended up removing theirs, which felt a bit wasteful (laughs). However, despite using time elsewhere right up until the show started, we were able to enjoy the performance very close to the stage, so I don't regret choosing the premium seats.

Each person received two free drink tickets, but the selection of free drinks was limited (only alcoholic Mai Tai or soft drinks like tropical fruit juice), and since the kids didn't like the juice, everyone ended up not using their tickets and left them unused (there was delicious free water on the table, which we enjoyed). I wish there had been a few more options.

I brought sunglasses as it was suggested, but I didn't need them (in mid-October). As time went on, it got a bit chilly, so I think having a light jacket would be good.

After the show, we exited the venue and were able to take pictures with the dancers in the hallway, which lifted our spirits again (were we being a bit starstruck?). We left feeling great.

時間に余裕があまりなくて年配から子供までの構成だったのでこちらを選びました。
お料理も殆ど全種類取りましたが全て普通に美味しく、ダンス等の内容からも選んで良かったと思います。（小学校低学年の男の子はショーの途中、段々とつまらなさそうにし始めましたが、最後のファイアーダンスで目がパッチリ。すごーい！と、食い入るように見ていました。）

レンタカーで行き、敷地に入って割とすぐ右手にある建物がパーキングだったので入庫、その建物がミッド・パシフィック・コンファレンス・センターだという事に気づき、車を降りてすぐ近くのエレベーターに乗ってそのまま上階へ、とても簡単に会場入りできました。（駐車券は、会場内の薄いグリーンのアロハ制服の人に渡すと、機械にとおして無料のスタンプを押してくれました）

タトゥー体験(普通の油性ペンで描いてましたが）は、子供がそれぞれハイビスカスとホヌ、夫がクジラを書いてもらい、いずれも上手で気分が盛り上がりました。やりたい方は、人気なので早めに並ぶと良いと思います。

席は、当方6名で、まだ舞台脇に空きテーブル席があったのですが、既に着席していた白人のご夫婦の隣(後ろ）に案内され、舞台かぶりつきではなく少々残念でしたが、空テーブルはもっと大人数のグループ用にあけていたのでしょう、仕方なかったかな（1テーブル10名用で、私たちのテーブルは結局8名(白人ご夫婦と当方6名）で座りました）
生花のレイは、私は嬉しくずっとつけていましたが、他のメンバーは「とっていい？」「冷たい」と次々に外してしまい、ちょっともったいない感が(笑)
でも、開演の割とギリギリまで他で時間を使ったにもかかわらず舞台のすぐ近くでショーを楽しめたので、プレミアムシートに後悔はしていません。

飲み物は一人2枚のフリードリンク券がついていましたが、フリーの飲み物の種類が少なく(アルコール・マイタイか、ソフトドリンク・トロピカルフルーツ味ジュースの2種類）子供の好みのジュースではなかった事もあって全員おかわりせず券を余らせ（テーブルに無料の美味しいお水があり、それを頂きました）種類がもう少しあったらなと思いました。

持って行った方が良い物にサングラスと書いてあったので持っていきましたが、必要なかったです(10月中旬）時間が経つと少し肌寒くなってきたので、薄い上着があると良いと思いました。

ショー終了後、会場を出て廊下で踊り手さんと写真が撮れて、また気分が盛り上がり(ミーハー？）気持ち良く帰途につきました。

We participated with my spouse and our 6-year-old daughter in the 120-meter experience. We did not arrange for transportation and met at the location with a rental car. At the meeting point at the harbor, the water was very clear, and we were able to see many fish. We had a reservation for 10 AM, and we shared the ride with one Japanese couple, one couple from the mainland U.S., and one elderly white gentleman. Since we were able to bond with the others, we enjoyed our time waiting on the boat.

Once we took off, it was absolutely amazing. My daughter was a bit nervous before flying, but once we were in the air, she was thrilled and has been saying she wants to fly again after returning to Japan.

Since we participated after reading reviews, I, of course, signed up for the $30 photo package. I asked them to take a lot of pictures, and they delivered as expected, capturing many moments. When they asked if I wanted to splash, I answered "of course," and I ended up getting completely soaked.

Next time in Hawaii, I want to fly even higher. It was truly a fun and unforgettable experience.

夫婦、6歳の娘と、120メートルで参加しました。　送迎は申し込まず、レンタカーで現地集合で参加しました。　待ち合わせ場所のﾊｰﾊﾞｰでも、透明度が高くて、たくさんのお魚を見ることができました。　私たちは10時で予約したのですが、一緒に乗り合わせたのは、日本人のカップル1組、アメリカ本土のご夫婦1組、白人のご老人お１人でした。　乗り合わせていらっしゃる方々と一緒に盛り上がることができたので、船で待っている間も楽しめました。
いざ飛んでみると、もぉ最高でした。　娘も飛ぶ前は少し緊張していましたが、飛んだら大興奮で、日本に帰ってきてからもまた飛びたいといっています。
口コミを読んでから参加したので、30ドルの写真ももちろん、申し込みました。
たくさん撮ってねとお願いしたので、期待通り、たくさん撮ってくれました。
ジャボンするか？と聞かれたので、もちろんって答えたら、心置きなく全身濡れました。
次回のハワイではもっと高く飛びたいです。
本当に楽しくて、忘れられない経験でした。

I imagined a colorful school of fish when I signed up, but it seems the tour took us to a point where we could see sea turtles, which was great. There were only a small group of tiny black fish. The description about seeing beautiful fish was incorrect.

I have a fear of heights, so I was worried, but when I actually flew, it was incredibly refreshing and amazing!! I chose a height of 120 meters, but I didn't feel high at all; it was quite easy (laughs). The wind felt nice, and when I go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to try it!

私は高所恐怖症なので、心配だったのですが、実際に飛んでみると、とても爽快で最高でした！！120mの高さを選びましたが、まったく高いと感じず、余裕でした（笑）風も気持ち良くて、またハワイに行った時は、是非挑戦したいです！！

This was my second trip to Hawaii, but since my last visit focused on marine sports and shopping, I wanted to do some sightseeing this time! I wanted to experience Hawaiian culture, so I participated in an event that was within walking distance from our hotel.

The show was very enjoyable, and the host, who was from Hawaii, had great energy and really got everyone excited. The singing was excellent! There were many Japanese tourists, but there were also a lot of foreigners, which made it very interesting. I was so captivated that the time flew by, and before I knew it, it was over! The fire dance was very impressive and worth watching! I think this is something unique that you can't see in Japan.

If I could wish for something, I would like the main showtime to be longer. Also, the buffet ended after just one round, so I would have been very satisfied if it had been a style where you could go back for more. I didn't even get to the dessert...

ハワイ旅行は２度目でしたが、前回はマリンスポーツ＆ショッピングが主でしたので今回は観光をしよう！ということで、ハワイの文化に触れたいと思い、私たちの宿泊ﾎﾃﾙからも徒歩圏内でしたので参加しました。
ショーはとても楽しく、進行の方もハワイの方なのでノリも良くとても盛り上がっていました。歌もとっても上手☆日本人の観光客は多いですが、外国の方も多く見ていてとってもおもしろいです。見入ってしまうのであっと言う間に終りが来てしまいました！フ　ァイヤーダンス、とっても迫力あって見甲斐があります！これは日本では見れない外国ならではだと思います。

少し欲を言えば、メインのショータイムの時間がもっと増えたらなと思います。
また、ビュッフェも一回りしたらおしまいでしたので、何度も取りにいけるスタイルだと大満足です。デザートまでたどり着けませんでした。。。

I went with two female friends. A dedicated trolley picked us up at the pickup location near the hotel, and it took about 10 minutes to reach the port.

At the destination, there were about six groups, and we were the only Japanese people there. We all boarded the boat at once and set off from the port, taking turns to start parasailing. It felt amazing, and we were really excited! I highly recommend it!

The instructions were only in English, but I managed to understand by watching what the others were doing. There isn't a designated place or time to change, so it's better to wear your swimsuit under your clothes when you go to the hotel. You can return wet if you want.

I timed it, and from when my feet left the platform until I landed, it was less than eight minutes. The actual time spent flying was about five minutes. I wish we could have flown a bit longer.

You can actually finish without getting wet at all, but they intentionally drop you into the sea, so you get wet up to your waist. If you want, you can pay $30 for photos, and they give you the memory card. We bought it and were satisfied.

女友達2人で行きました。ホテル近くのピックアップ場所に専用のトロリーが迎にきて10分くらいで港に着きます。
行った先では私達含めて6組くらい、日本人は私達だけでした。
一度にボートに乗って港を出発して順番にパラセイリング開始します。めちゃくちゃ気持ちくてテンションあがります！オススメです♪
説明が英語のみでしたがなんとなく他の人たちのを見てたらわかりました。
着替える場所と時間が準備されている訳ではないのでホテルで中に着ていった方がいいです。濡れたままでも帰れます。
時計で計った所、足が離れてからつくまでで8分もありません。実質飛んでるのは5分程度です。もう少し長く飛んでいたかったですが。
本当は全く濡れずに終えることも可能ですがわざと海に落とされて腰まで濡れます。
希望すれば30$で写真撮ってメモリーカードごとくれます。私達は買いました。満足です。

it was good. not wow but it should be done with any visit to hawaii

We experienced this in mid-October. October is the rainy season, so there are downpours almost every day.

We had a reservation at 3 PM, but rain clouds came down from the mountains in the afternoon, and there was a downpour about 30 minutes before we were set to fly.

I was worried that we wouldn't be able to enjoy the stunning views because of the rain, but just before we took off, the rain stopped, and we were able to enjoy beautiful scenery.

The sky was more breathtaking than I imagined, and it was very peaceful. I think such a space is hard to come by.

The captain spoke mostly in English, but they were cheerful and made it enjoyable. They also took photos, and you can get an SD card for $30.

I think even those with a fear of heights can enjoy this experience. I highly recommend it.

私たちが体験したのは１０月半ばでした。
１０月は雨期なので、ほぼ毎日スコールがあります。

午後３時に予約したのですが、午後から雨雲が山から降りてきて
私たちが飛ぶ３０分前くらいにスコールがありました。。

雨では、絶景が期待できないのでとでも心配していましたが
飛ぶ寸前でスコールがやんで、きれいな景色を堪能できました。

空は、想像以上の眺めでとても静かです。
こんな空間は、なかなか味わえないと思いますよ。

キャプテンは、ほぼ英語ですが明るい方々で楽しめました。
写真も撮影してくれて、３０ドルでSDカードがもらえます。

高所恐怖症の方でも堪能出来ると思います。おすすめです。

This was my second experience. It was very comfortable. They gradually increased the altitude, so I wasn't scared at all. I felt so relaxed that I could have a casual conversation like, "The Earth is round," up in the sky. However, I did get splashed with water and caught a cold. It felt good, but I hope it's only for those who want to do it. Achoo.

2回目の体験でした。とても快適でした。少しずつ高度を上げてくれるので，ぜんぜん怖くなかったです。上空で「地球は丸いんだね」みたいな、当たり前の会話ができるぐらい素直な気持ちになれました。でも水に落されて、風邪をひきました。気持ちよかったけど，希望者だけにしてほしいです。はくしょん。

good teachers and great waves!
this was the first time to play surffing but I could catch the wave!!

At first, I was nervous, but the cheerful boys kept encouraging me, so I was able to do my best! Also, the boat rocked quite a bit, and everyone felt a bit sick... We had seen reviews beforehand, so we took motion sickness pills and constantly sucked on candies, which helped us get through it safely! Motion sickness medication is a must!!

When we flew in the sky, Diamond Head was amazing, and everything was so impressive that it moved me! Just my husband and I up in the air! It was a really great time. The prices varied by meter, and we chose the most expensive option, but I'm not sure if it was really the most expensive one or not, haha.

The boys hardly spoke any Japanese, so there wasn't much explanation, but I would love to do it again if I go to Hawaii!

Oh, and you can get photos taken for about 3000 yen, and they give you the data, so I definitely recommend it! The boys who are used to the boat took some really beautiful pictures!

My husband, myself, and our two children (ages 4 and 2) participated, along with a total of 8 people including my husband's parents and his brother and sister-in-law. Since half of us were first-timers to Hawaii, we considered the Polynesian Cultural Center, but we thought it might be tough for the kids to stay out late watching the final show and then return to the hotel close to midnight. Staying at the Hilton was also a deciding factor.

The PDF for the meeting point indicated that it was the chapel, but currently, we gather directly at the venue. If possible, it would be great to correct this to avoid confusion for those who come later.

Upon arriving at the venue, we were given shell necklaces and fresh flower leis (only for the Golden Circle) to wear, and we took commemorative photos with the dancers. It cost $20, and although it felt a bit large, the photos turned out so well that I wondered if they had been edited (laughs). They even came to show us on an iPad.

Once seated, we were served welcome drinks, including Mai Tais (non-alcoholic options are available). I don't think the alcohol was very strong. The admission ticket included two drink vouchers, and additional orders could be placed for about $12. However, the cocktails felt a bit plain without flowers or fruits, so I was fine with just two. The food was okay, but there seemed to be too many types of meat. The fruits were popular and ran out quickly. The cake was, as expected, very sweet (laughs). Those in the Golden Circle were allowed to line up first to get their servings.

The show was in a much smaller venue than the Cultural Center, which allowed us to see everything up close, and we were very satisfied. During the final fire show, I could really feel the heat when the flames from the dancers' torches passed nearby. Afterward, the dancers were in the hallway and took photos with us. I was surprised to see that many of them were quite short (they seemed taller on stage).

We went on the last day, and since the show ended at 8:30 PM, those with early flights on the day of departure can still do some last-minute shopping in Waikiki! I highly recommend it!

主人、私、子供（4歳と2歳）
主人の両親と主人の弟夫妻の合計8人で参加しました。
半数の4人が初ハワイの為、ポリネシアンカルチャーセンターと
迷いましたが、ポリネシアンは最後のショーまで見るとホテルへ
戻るのが深夜近くになってしまうので子供が可愛そうかな・・・
というのとヒルトンに宿泊している事が決め手になりました。

こちらの集合場所のpdfには集合場所がチャペルとなっていましたが
現在は会場に直接集合なので可能であれば訂正していただけると
後から行かれる方が混乱しないかと思います。

会場へ向かうと貝殻のネックレスと生花のレイ（ゴールデンサークルのみ）
を首から下げてもらいダンサーの方と記念写真を撮りました。20ドルでした
ので購入しましたが（ちょっとサイズが大きいかな？）、写りが良すぎて
修正入ってるのかな？と思った程でした（笑）iPadで見せに来ましたし。

席に通されると、ウエルカムドリンクのマイタイ（ノンアルコールもあります）
が配られます。アルコールはそんなに強くなかったと思います。
入場チケットに2枚ドリンク券がついていて、追加オーダーも出来ますが
12ドル位だったかと。その割には花もフルーツも無い質素な感じ（笑）の
カクテルなので私は2杯で十分でした。食事はまあまあかな？何というか肉の
種類が多すぎるかな。フルーツは人気ですぐ無くなってしまう感じでした。
ケーキは、思った通り激甘でした（笑）
ゴールデンサークルの人から優先的に並んで取りに行ってました。

ショーはカルチャーセンターよりだいぶ小さい会場だったので近くで見れて
大満足でした。最後のファイヤーショーではダンサーの持つタイマツの火が
近くを通る時、熱さをとても感じました。終わってからダンサーの方が廊下に
いて写真を一緒に撮ってくれました。意外と皆さん、身長低い方なんだなと
思いました。（舞台では大きく感じました）

最終日に見に行きましたが,終わった時間が20：30だったので帰国日にフライト
が早くてワイキキに行けない人にも最後の買い物行けますよ！おススメです！

The hotel pick-up arrived on time, and we took a cruiser out to sea from the pier. It took about 10 minutes, which was just enough time. It felt like a walk in the sky. It was like flying a kite with a swing sensation. There was a thrill, but the feeling was amazing!

ホテルに時間通り迎えが来て、船乗りばよりクルーザーで沖まで出ます。
時間は、10分無いくらいですが十分。
空の空中散歩。ブランコ感覚で凧揚げ状態です。
スリルありですが気持ち良さは最高ー！

Since I didn't have much time, I decided to go to a Polynesian show in the city on my last day in Hawaii. The fire show was very impressive, and the hula dancers were all beautiful, which was great.

時間がないので街中でポリネシアンショーと思いハワイ最終日に行かせていただきました。ファイアーショーはとても迫力ありフラは綺麗な方ばかりでよかったですよ。

My wife was a bit nervous about the 90 meters, but since we were there, we decided to go for the 120 meters. They picked us up on time, and we signed the waiver in the car while heading to the port, picking up other guests along the way. Our tour included an Australian family and two couples in their sixties from America. I was a bit worried about the older couple from America, but the two guys operating the equipment were really skilled. They handled the cables very gently when we took off and when we landed. When we landed, they let us dip our bottoms in the water, but it seemed we were judged to be okay with a bit of rough handling. After a splash down, we were dropped in again with another big splash! (laughs)

Before we took off, they asked, "Do you need photos?" so definitely say "Yes!" They took plenty of shots before we flew and pictures of the Waikiki skyline from the boat. It’s hard to get those shots with our own camera, so while $30 is a bit pricey, it’s worth it.

We made the best memories on our honeymoon in Hawaii! ♪

妻は９０メートルでいいのでは、とびびっていましたがせっかくなので１２０メートルに参加しました。時間通りにピックアップしてくれて、車の中で免責事項にサインし、ほかのお客さんをピックアップしながら港へ向かいます。私たちのツアーには、ほかにオーストラリアのファミリーと、アメリカから２組の６０歳代の夫婦が参加していました。アメリカからの夫婦は高齢で大丈夫かな？と勝手に心配していましたが、操縦する２人のお兄さんのケーブルの扱いは本当に上手で、飛び上がるときも、おりるときもとても優しくケーブルを操作してくれていました。おりるときに海にお尻をチャポンとつけてくれるのですが、私たちは、多少雑に扱っても大丈夫と判断されたのでしょう。ジャボーン！と落とされた後、さらにもう１回ジャボーン！と水の中へ（笑）
飛ぶ前に「写真が必要？」と聞いてくれますので、ぜひ「Yes!」と言いましょう。飛ぶ前のショットや、船からワイキキの街並みを写した写真などたくさん撮ってくれます。自分たちのカメラではなかなか撮れないので、３０ドルは少し高いですが、払う価値はあります。
ハネムーンで行ったハワイで、最高の思い出ができました♪

We participated as a couple in our 75th year. At first, we were anxious, but once we took to the sky, we were moved by the beauty of the sky and the sparkle of the ocean that we had never seen before, as well as the breathtaking view of Waikiki and Diamond Head!

75歳の夫婦で参加しました。はじめは不安でしたが、いったん空へ飛んでみると今まで見たことの無い空の美しさと海の煌き、そしてワイキキの町やダイヤモンドヘッドが一望でき感動しました！

It was pretty cool being in submarine, but we were a little disappointed in how many fish and marine life we saw. I guess that's due to luck. But nonetheless still a pretty cool activity.

Overall, it was a lot of fun.
During my first trip to Hawaii, the experience of "surfing while looking at Diamond Head!" is something I think is quite rare.

With that in mind, here are the good and bad points:
1. Good points
- Using a long board makes it relatively easy to stand up. They push you from behind, so it's fine. No one in the same group had trouble standing.
- The location is absolutely fantastic! You can enjoy long rides while looking at Diamond Head. It feels really great.
- They take photos for you. $30 plus tax. The number of photos increases based on how many rides you take.

2. Bad points
- Women who couldn't get out to sea were left behind. The instructor only pulled them once at the beginning. As a result, those who couldn't go out on their own had fewer chances to ride the waves. I think if there were helpers, everyone could have enjoyed it more.
- The teaching was rough for the price. Even setting aside the fact that it's in English, in Japan, you would get more thorough instruction for half the price. I felt it was just a name for a lesson. They were just pushing from behind.

I wrote both good and bad points, but as I mentioned at the beginning, since it's Hawaii, which is an amazing place, I still recommend it.
It's a great memory for your trip!

3. Bonus
Be careful as it can be more tiring than you think. I think it's better to avoid hiking Diamond Head on the same day.

総合的にみて、とても楽しかったです。
初めてのハワイで、『ダイヤモンドヘッドを見ながらサーフィン！』という体験はなかなか出来ないと思います。

それを踏まえて以下の良い点、悪い点を書きます。
１．良い点
・長い板を使うので比較的簡単に立つことができる。後ろから押してくれるし大丈夫。同じグループで立てない人はいませんでした。
・ロケーションが最高に良い！ダイヤモンドヘッドを見ながらロングライドも可能です。とても気分が良いです。
・写真を撮ってくれる。＄３０プラス税金。乗った分だけ写真が増えます。

２．悪い点
・沖に出られない女性は放って置かれていました。先生が引っ張ってくれるのは最初の１回だけでした。結果、沖に自力で行けない人は波に乗る回数が少ないです。ヘルプ係とかいれば皆で楽しめたのにと思います。
・値段の割に教え方が雑。英語なのは置いといても、日本なら半額でもっと丁寧に教えてくれます。レッスンとは名ばかりだなと思いました。ただ後ろから押してるだけじゃん。

良い点、悪い点の両方を書きましたが、最初に書いた通りハワイという最高の場所なので、やっぱりお勧めです。
旅の思い出には最高ですよ！

３．おまけ
自分で思っている以上に疲れるので注意してください。同じ日にダイヤモンドヘッド登山とかはやめた方が良いと思います。

I managed to persuade my scared wife to take on the challenge together. The local guide spoke a bit of Japanese, so I wasn't too anxious. It was a 90-meter course, and they controlled it very well. I was screaming the whole time during the parasailing, but by the end, I wished I could have flown longer. On the way back to the yacht harbor, they even showed us dolphins. They took 96 photos for $30. The tip was about $10 per person.
It was amazing! Next time, I want to try the 150-meter course.

怖がる妻を何とか説得して二人でチャレンジしました。ガイド（現地）方も片言の日本語ができていたので、そんなに不安はありませんでした。９０ｍのコースでしたが、上手にコントロールしてくれました。パラセイリング中はずっと絶叫していましたが、終わりごろは、もっと飛んでいたかったくらいです。ヨットハーバーに帰る途中にイルカも見せてくれました。写真も３０ドルで９６枚撮影してくれました。チップは一人１０ドル程度でした。
　最高でした！今度は、１５０ｍ位に挑戦してみたいです。

We were really excited to do this tour! When we got there the tour guides were very friendly and chill. When we got out to where we were snorkeling I had a bit of a freak out when I got into the water. I looked down and saw so many fish under my feet! The one tour guide came over and helped me overcome my fear. I got in and out of the boat many times. We also saw so many turtles! After snorkeling we went on a nice sail while enjoying some well deserved drinks. All in all this was a fabulous for the price point of the tour! I would totally do this again!

The stunning and graceful Hawaiian women performing hula captivated not only me, a man, but surely all the audience members. In particular, that unique hip-swaying dance was both alluring and truly representative of traditional hula. The highlight was the male dancers' fire performances, which are said to be acrobatic. That scene is still vividly etched in my mind; it was that impressive. The next time I visit Hawaii, I definitely want to make sure to see this luau show again.

容姿端麗で、可憐なハワイアン女性のフラダンスに魅了されたのは、男性の私だけでなくすべての観客が感じていたことでしょう。特に、あの独特の腰を振る踊りはなまめかしくもあり、これこそ伝統のフラダンスと言えるでしょう。圧巻は、男性踊りの火を使った曲芸とも言われるもの。いまだにこの光景が脳裡にしっかりと焼き就いています。それだけ印象的だったのです。次回もハワイを訪れた際には、このルアウショウだけは必ず観賞したいと思っています。

During summer vacation, my family of three participated. My husband and our 10-year-old son did the flying, while I rode along as an observer on the motorboat. My son, who was feeling anxious, was held by his father like a kangaroo and soared into the blue sky of Oahu, returning with a big smile on his face. On the way back on the plane, when I asked, "What was the most fun thing in Hawaii?" he said, "Parasailing!" Next time, I want to challenge myself at the highest height. We shared the motorboat with several groups and took turns flying, but even while others were flying, it felt wonderful to ride the boat with the wind in my face against the backdrop of Diamond Head. The location is just a short walk from the Hilton Hotel.

夏休みに、家族三人で参加しました。
飛ぶのは、主人と10歳の息子。私は、見学者として一緒にモーターボートに乗りました。
不安がっていた息子ですが、カンガルーのように父に抱っこされる感じで、オアフの青い空に舞い上がっていき、満面の笑顔で戻ってきました。
帰りの飛行機で、「ハワイで何が一番楽しかった？」ときくと、「パラセイリング！」だったそう。
今度は、1番長い高さで、私も挑戦してみたいと思います。
モーターボートには、数組一緒に乗り、順番に飛ぶのですが、他の人がとんでる間も、ダイアモンドヘッドをバックに風を受けながらボートに乗るのはとっても気持ちよかったです。
場所は、ヒルトンホテルのすぐ裏の海で歩いていけます。

I thought I would see a lot of fish since it was a submarine, but there were no fish at all, and I was just looking at the seabed. It's better not to expect any fish.

You can get a sticker based on the flight distance. First, we started with the 300 feet group. Once the other group of 300 feet finished, it was finally our turn for the 800 feet. However, three-person equipment was installed, and my husband and daughter (800 feet) were called to the center. On either side were couples from the 300 feet group. Indeed, the rope and time were longer than the 300 feet.

It’s not that we were deceived; we were definitely flying at 800 feet. But it’s a mystery why we were grouped with those who had the 300 feet sticker. Essentially, it seems like they benefited from this arrangement. Even though we were a couple, we couldn’t sit next to each other, which felt like an awkward upgrade from 300 to 800 feet. I didn’t ask since I wasn’t losing out, but it felt a bit haphazard.

My husband and daughter who flew said it was incredibly exhilarating! According to my daughter, it was the most fun she had during this trip to Hawaii. She’s saying she wants to fly again, so as an activity, it was fantastic!

もうひと組の300feetの方々が終わったら、いよいよ私たち800feet。
と思いきや３人用金具が取り付けられ、主人と娘（800feet）が呼ばれ真中に。
両脇に300feetのカップルが其々。。確かに紐と時間は、300feetより長い。

騙されたわけでもなく、ちゃんと800feet飛んではいるのだろうが
何故300feetのシールを付けた方々と一緒か謎。。。要はこの方々が得をしてる、という。
カップルなのに、隣同士出来なくてごめんね、的な意味合いでおまけで300→800へのグレードアップなのか。
自分が損してるわけでないのであえて聞かなかったが、なんか適当だな、と思いました。

娘曰く、今回のハワイで一番楽しかったそうです♪
また飛びたい、と言ってるのでアクティビティとしては最高です！

I signed up for the highest jump at 150 meters among all the groups that flew together. Strangely, I felt no fear at all, and it was definitely the right choice to go for 150 meters. The view of Waikiki, the ocean of Hawaii, and the horizon from above the sea was all breathtaking. I also asked for photos, and when I said in Katakana English, "Please take a lot of pictures!! ♪", they ended up taking 118 shots for me. Since they provided the data on a 4GB memory card, I thought $30 was quite a bargain, and I really felt it was worth it because they used a proper DSLR with a telephoto lens. For some reason, our group was also given the special service of dipping a little into the water, which made me feel like I got a great deal (laughs).

一緒の時間に飛んだ全グループの中で一番高い１５０ｍで申し込みました。不思議なことに怖さは全く感じず、１５０ｍで大正解でした。海の上空から見るワイキキ、ハワイの海、水平線、すべてが感動的でした。写真もお願いしまして、カタカナ英語で「たくさん撮ってください！！♪」と言ってみたら、118枚も撮って下さっていました。４ＧＢのメモリーカードにデータを入れて頂けるので、それで３０ドルは安かったなと思いますし、きちんとした一眼の望遠レンズで撮って下さったので頼んでよかったと本当に思います。なぜかうちのグループだけ水面にちょこっと落としてくださるサービスをしていただき、大変得した気分でした(笑)

We participated as a couple. Since we had taken a different surfing lesson the day before, we were a bit tired and left a little early with more than enough time. We also received T-shirts, which made for a nice memento.

前日、違うサーフィンレッスンに参加したので疲れが残っていたのと十分すぎるくらいの時間で少し早めに上がらせてもらいました。

Participated with my husband and two boys (9 & 10). My children and I were nervous at first. But the two guides were awesome and very friendly. They explained the rules and prepared us for our tandem rides. Once we were up in the air the nerves went away.The view was so breathtaking. One of the guides also took some amazing photos of the whole experience (for purchase). I will definitely use Hawaiian Parasail again.

It was amazing. I was able to see the streets of Waikiki and the beautiful ocean from above. The height didn't feel as high as I expected, but it felt like I was a bird. I want to do it again. I also got to take a lot of pictures.

最高です。空の上からワイキキの街並みとキレイな海を眺めることができました。高さは思ったよりはあまり高く感じませんでしたが、鳥になった気分です。またやりたいです。写真もたくさんとってもらいました。

Even though I can't speak English, I received polite lessons! The instructor and the person who came to pick me up were both foreigners, but everyone was kind, and I had a great time surfing♪ I participated alone, but I highly recommend it!
