Great lesson for my daughter

I bought a private lesson for my 13 year old daughter. It was her first time surfing as we are from Colorado. She had her own instructor who provided great instruction and having 1 on 1 instruction helped us both to feel safe. The lesson came with a tshirt and pictures of her lesson which I thought was a great deal. My only complaint was that the adults in the group lesson often got in front of her so she had to sit down to avoid hitting them. They go over this in the beginning of the overall lesson so I don't blame the school, just maybe a reminder in the water would have been helpful. Overall it was an amazing experience that I would highly recommend.

The brothers were really cheerful, and even though I didn't understand the words at all (laughs), they interacted with me a lot and it was so much fun! They took a lot of photos with a DSLR camera (for a fee), and everyone had the best smiles! The weather was nice, so the scenery was amazing! I highly recommend it!

As for my daughter and me, while we enjoyed ourselves, my husband, who has a fear of heights, was quite tense. We were in the middle of the group, so we managed to avoid getting seasick, but it seems that those who jumped first and last had a tough time with seasickness. I experienced it at 120 meters. It was scarier than I expected, but the weather was great and the scenery was really beautiful. I'm not sure if we were actually in the air for 8 minutes; it might have felt short because it was so much fun.

Including us, there were 5 groups, and we returned to the port after an hour, so participating in the morning allowed us to make good use of the rest of the day.

Especially before heading out to sea, the boat swayed a lot, so if you're feeling even a little anxious, it might be a good idea to take some motion sickness medication.

I would highly recommend doing this adventure! This was my second time but my husband, and 2 kids (ages 10 & 7) first time. Easy to find the location and the people were very friendly. It was easy to do and once you catch the wave, it's so exhilarating. It is very cool to see Waikiki Beach from the ocean too! Such a great memory to share with my family.

It was just a little over a 30-minute experience, but both my nieces and we were able to create unforgettable memories!

I had an incredibly fun time. However, it might be a bit scary because it's quite expensive. Since you go out to sea by boat, I recommend taking motion sickness medication if you're prone to seasickness. In the end, you definitely have to get your feet wet, so I think it's essential to participate in swimwear.

And finished with a nice relaxing sail around Diamond Head. A definite do again on our next trip. Since we stayed at the Hall Koa, access was a quick walk down the beach. No hassles of finding parking on the busy Waikiki strip.

The weather on the day was unfortunately cloudy with occasional rain. I headed out to the sea feeling a bit anxious, but we weren't blessed with clear skies, as it drizzled lightly along the way. However, the scenery was beautiful, and it felt really nice.

I wanted to capture the moment as a keepsake, so I requested a photo shoot for an additional $30 (I gave the tip at this time). They took pictures with the plane flying by, and when it was cloudy, they adjusted the location to catch any breaks in the clouds!

Basically, the staff members do not speak Japanese, but they were all bright and friendly! By the way, the boat can sway quite a bit, so if you're worried about motion sickness, it's a good idea to take some medication.

I participated with my wife and our son who just turned four.
