We participated as a family of four. Out of the ten participants, everyone except our family was foreign, and they were lively, cheering and clapping, making the time enjoyable even outside of our own experience. Each pair had about ten minutes of experience, and we returned to the port after 1 hour and 10 minutes from departure.

It was our first time parasailing, and the view from above was magnificent and refreshing. When we reached the highest point, it felt like we were at the same height as Diamond Head. The sky and sea were both a brilliant blue, and Waikiki, with its lined-up hotels, looked beautiful, making us feel like we had stepped into a postcard.

Our daughters participated while filming with a GoPro, and that video became a nice souvenir. Just for reference, I tend to be a bit anxious and brought various items with me, but I hardly got wet (just a little on my feet), and I didn't need to use a towel or change clothes. Haha.

The operation was smooth, allowing us to go up and down and even dip a little into the water, which was a lot of fun. OMG!! What an experience! Soaring above beautiful blue waters with sunny skies! The captain and his mate were entertaining and engaging. They gave a mini lesson, took pics and were understanding with our autistic son whom went first with his dad! The location was super convenient since it was right in the back of our hotel! Our time was suppose to be later but they were able to move us up which apllowed us to get to our next activity on time. If you are fearful suck it up and jump right in! It's a decision you would not regret!

Pickup was on time, and we got on the boat on the almost immediately.

The 2 guides were great!

The parasailing experience was great with fantastic views all around. The only downside was that since the wind was towards the direction of the sun, all the photos were just silhouettes and our faces couldn't be seen. This is nothing against the company, who were great :)

The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki during the parasailing was amazing and refreshing! My husband and I, who are afraid of heights, were quite nervous due to the altitude, but our daughters were absolutely thrilled. I'm glad we chose the 150 meters! At the end, thanks to the veteran captain's skill, we were gently dropped into the water. Everyone in the tour was watching, and he made sure our heads didn't go under the water! I was impressed by his technique!

Although it was a calm day, the boat rocked quite a bit! Our family took motion sickness medication, but we still felt a little queasy... I think taking motion sickness pills is essential. The day I participated, it was packed with about 40 people, and there was barely enough room to sit. There were four crew members. I attended with elementary school children, but the explanation for using the snorkeling gear was very brief, and after that, everyone pretty much did their own thing. During sailing, the crew said it was optional to wear life jackets, and since they came around to collect them, none of the participants ended up wearing them.

I was able to see a sea turtle, and I spotted dolphins jumping in the distance, which was great, but I felt it might be more of an adult-oriented tour.

In late August, it was sunny. We participated as a couple with two middle school students. It was everyone's first time parasailing. I tend to get motion sickness, so I took some anti-nausea medication, but it was nice that there were only a few of us, just our family and two foreign sisters. (The people who rode after us were a large group, so I felt like I might get seasick while waiting for them to finish... Either way, it's better to take the medication. The boat sways quite a bit!)

I didn't talk much with the captain, but he was a nice person, and the instructor was funny and kind, making the conversation enjoyable! (He understands a little Japanese and seems familiar with Japanese people, so I think it's fine even if you can't speak English.)

Our family and the sisters were all dropped into the sea at the beginning or the end! That was fun too. I was chatting with the instructor before we started, and it naturally led to, "Well, we have to drop you into the water, Japan!" I don't know how it usually goes, but if you really want to be dropped into the sea, it might be good to express that desire.

The view from 150 meters was amazing! When the boat swayed, I couldn't help but scream like it was an amusement park ride. Haha. I wasn't worried about falling at all. I put my smartphone in a waterproof case hanging around my neck and recorded videos, but since there was some swaying, please ensure your own safety while filming. (If you're anxious about operating it up there, it might be a good idea to keep the camera rolling from before takeoff until landing. I can't guarantee the quality, but it's one way to do it.)

Also, we had to wait until the previous group returned before we could board the moving boat, and after boarding (only those buying the photo SD had to line up), but it didn't feel like we waited too long at all.

I would love to try again with the same captain and instructor!

私達家族もお姉さん達も最初か最後に海に落とされました！それも楽しかったです。私はやる前にインストラクターさんとお喋りしてて、じゃあジャポンと落とさないとね〜という流れに自然となったので普段がどうかわかりませんが、絶対海に入れてほしい人は一言やってほしい気持ちを伝えるといいかもしれませんね。
150mからの景色は最高でした！
揺れたりするとアトラクションのようにキャーキャー言ってしまいます。笑。落ちる心配は全然無かったです。首から下げる防水ケースにスマホ入れて動画なども撮りましたが、揺れもあるのでご自身で安全を確認しながら撮って下さい。(上で操作するのが不安な方は、飛ぶ前から降りるまでずっと動画回しっぱなしでもいいかもしれませんね。ちゃんと撮れるかわかりませんが一つの方法として。)
