The inside of the submarine was clean, and it was nice to see the ocean clearly through the windows. However, I only saw small fish and didn't encounter any large or unusual fish, or turtles at all. This is left to nature, so it's certainly not the fault of the tour, but it was disappointing. I wouldn't mind if the price were higher; I would like to be taken to a place where I can see various tropical fish and sharks.

Good: the performers and MC where good. Bad: Food and Drink where minimum. Selection was limited. All seemed a little cheap. No quality drink choices. Best tequila was Cuervo Gold, really! What decade are we in. Ugly: the setting terrible. On a roof at the conference center. No ambiance. A conference room on the roof. Hilton could and should do better. I will not recommend. I picked this Luau mostly because of proximity to our hotel. That was a mistake. It was the worst experience of our week stay in Oahu.

I chose this experience to create lasting memories for my friend's first trip to Hawaii. Two guides accompanied us, and the three of us—my friend and my husband—got into a five-person canoe. The location was the beach in front of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.

First, we received a lecture on how to ride the outrigger canoe and how to hold the paddle on land. We pushed the outrigger canoe from the sandy beach into the sea. Then, we sat in designated spots in a line and started paddling out to the waves, waiting alongside the surfers. The instructions were given in Japanese, such as "Pull harder!" and "Opposite!" so we just kept paddling.

It was reassuring to have guidance on the wave points and timing. The view from the sea was incredibly beautiful compared to what we usually see from the beach. We rode three times, and it was harder than I expected. It was a lot of fun!

I went up to a height of 150 meters! It was so much fun! It felt like I was in the air longer than I expected, and the views were amazing as they changed directions, making it truly feel like I was flying.

The boat was relatively fast, and the waves were quite strong, so those who are prone to motion sickness should be cautious. I took motion sickness medication before going, but it was still a close call! I wore a swimsuit, but only my toes got wet.

After the activity, I gave a tip when getting off the boat. Later, I purchased the photo data for $40 at the reception. They quickly transferred the data to my smartphone and also gave me an SD card. I have never surfed before and I probably won't in the future, so I decided to join this experience to feel that vibe casually. The speed was much slower than I imagined, and I didn't feel scared at all. Watching the people surfing on the same waves and being able to ride the waves together was fun and made me feel like a surfer. However, it ended in no time. It would be nice if it were a bit cheaper.

This was my first time participating. I was worried about the check-in since I can't speak English, but the staff member helped me, and I was able to check in without any issues. There are also Japanese guidelines available.

Everyone goes barefoot on the boat, so wearing beach sandals or sneakers is fine. We brought a waterproof phone case to keep our money and card keys, but there was space under the benches on the boat for luggage, so some people participated with bags or backpacks (though they might get wet).

The boat moves at quite a speed, so depending on the wave height, it can jump and there can be quite a jolt. If you are prone to seasickness, I think it's safer to take motion sickness medication.

The start is on the boat, but since you will be landing in the water, I think it's better to have a towel if you're concerned. We dried off quite a bit on the way back to the boarding area.

The photo data was provided on an SD card and iPhone for about $40 for around 100 pictures, and after disembarking, we were able to view the photos and decide whether to purchase them.

The activity itself was an extraordinary experience and very enjoyable! The color of the ocean and the view of Honolulu were beautiful. I highly recommend it to anyone interested.

It wasn't as scary as I thought, and the scenery was amazing. There was someone in the same group who got sick. The boat sways quite a bit, so it's better to take motion sickness medication. I was worried about participating since it was a local gathering and English-only. When I arrived at the meeting place, I wasn't sure where to go at first, so I asked someone at the back facility and found the boat labeled "MOANA." Once on the boat, we found the seats comfortable and relaxing. The explanations were in English, so I used a translation app and understood most of it. The life jackets were not vests but waist wraps, so if you're feeling uneasy, it's a good idea to bring a vest or use two waist wraps for peace of mind when entering the water. Once in the water, we were instructed not to stray from the staff. We got to see sea turtles! It was amazing to see a mother and baby turtle come right up in front of us. On the way back, we enjoyed drinks, and everyone was able to relax on the boat, which was a pleasant time. There were several staff members who were very kind and helpful throughout the experience.

I was taught how to do it on land and then headed straight to the sea!
I'm very satisfied!
It's a bit pricey, but I'm glad I had photos and videos taken as memories.
