I went up to a height of 150 meters! It was so much fun! It felt like I was in the air longer than I expected, and the views were amazing as they changed directions, making it truly feel like I was flying.

The boat was relatively fast, and the waves were quite strong, so those who are prone to motion sickness should be cautious. I took motion sickness medication before going, but it was still a close call! I wore a swimsuit, but only my toes got wet.

After the activity, I gave a tip when getting off the boat. Later, I purchased the photo data for $40 at the reception. They quickly transferred the data to my smartphone and also gave me an SD card. However, for some reason, the date on the photo data was set to 2020, which was a bit disappointing, but it felt very much like Hawaii, haha.

It was a fun activity in a short amount of time!

The best part is that you can board from a hotel in Waikiki, which makes good use of your time. This was my first time participating. I was worried about the check-in since I can't speak English, but the staff member helped me, and I was able to check in without any issues. There are also Japanese guidelines available.

Everyone goes barefoot on the boat, so wearing beach sandals or sneakers is fine. We brought a waterproof phone case to keep our money and card keys, but there was space under the benches on the boat for luggage, so some people participated with bags or backpacks (though they might get wet).

The boat moves at quite a speed, so depending on the wave height, it can jump and there can be quite a jolt. If you are prone to seasickness, I think it's safer to take motion sickness medication.

The start is on the boat, but since you will be landing in the water, I think it's better to have a towel if you're concerned. We dried off quite a bit on the way back to the boarding area.

The photo data was provided on an SD card and iPhone for about $40 for around 100 pictures, and after disembarking, we were able to view the photos and decide whether to purchase them.

The activity itself was an extraordinary experience and very enjoyable! The color of the ocean and the view of Honolulu were beautiful. I highly recommend it to anyone interested.

I was worried about participating since it was a local gathering and English-only. When I arrived at the meeting place, I wasn't sure where to go at first, so I asked someone at the back facility and found the boat labeled "MOANA." Once on the boat, we found the seats comfortable and relaxing. The explanations were in English, so I used a translation app and understood most of it. The life jackets were not vests but waist wraps, so if you're feeling uneasy, it's a good idea to bring a vest or use two waist wraps for peace of mind when entering the water. Once in the water, we were instructed not to stray from the staff. We got to see sea turtles! It was amazing to see a mother and baby turtle come right up in front of us. My family are really excited to have luau buffet and the show and this was main activity for our trip. Overall show and music was great. But the buffet food was not. Luau pork was dry and chicken was hard to chew. Also desert was not at that quality for the price.

It's about a 2-hour tour, but you can see a variety of fish and turtles up close through the glass, and the time passes so quickly because the content is so rich. Whenever I'm planning to join a tour, I always wonder if it'll be fun for the kids too. Even though it's a bit pricier, choosing the Friday luau in the courtyard by the lagoon was a great choice! Even if the kids got a bit bored halfway through, they could play on the grass for a bit. And the best part was it was free for kids under 4, which was super awesome! What made me even happier was the kids buffet corner, with kid-friendly foods like Tater tots, Teriyaki chicken, and meatballs etc. We made some fantastic family memories in Hawaii.

The show was a blast, featuring dances from the various Polynesian islands.
There were even a few fire dancers, which the kids absolutely loved.

We were bummed we couldn't see the final fireworks from our seats, but watching them up close from right in front of the hotel was an incredible experience. Totally satisfied!

It was a bit murky in the afternoon, but I was able to see fish clearly at certain points, and although from a distance, I also saw a turtle, so I was satisfied. I didn't use the Japanese guide because I wasn't sure when to listen to it. However, I think it's a tour that can be enjoyed fully without the staff guide or the Japanese guide if you love the ocean and fish.

午後からの出向で少し濁っていましたが、ポイントポイントではしっかりと魚を見ることができたし、遠目でしたが亀も見れたので満足です。
日本語ガイドは聴くタイミングがよくわからなかったので使いませんでした。
でも、海や魚が好きならスタッフのガイドも日本語ガイドも無くても十分に楽しめるツアーだと思います。
