This is a really convenient luau. In good walking distance or a cab ride away from all the hotels and incredibly delicious food. Be sure to get the Golden Circle, because we did and we had excellent front row type of seating. CHECK IN EARLY TO BYPASS THE CROWD!!!

Some bad "Cons" about this is:
there is no good/ romantic picture taking scenery, chairs are situated very close to eachother so your banging elbows with the next person, its on the top of a parking lot structure and its just surrounded by a bunch of buildings.

Staff was friendly, water is always provided, the Food is BETTER tasting from all the other Luau's I have been too.. so that is a plus.

It was a wonderful sail and beautiful scenery of Diamond Head, Waikiki and Town. The Captain answered all of my daughter's questions, and let me tell you..SHE HAD A LOT of questions!! She even made friends with another little girl on-board. We didn't snorkel because I am not a great swimmer and the waves looked kinda rough, but its ok...me and my daughter was on the top drinking our Orange and Guave juice and enjoying the breeze, relaxing and taking in the scenery.

The Catamaran was clean, comfortable, and had 2 CLEAN bathrooms on-board (Women and Men). The staff was very friendly, always came around to see how we were doing and offering us anything to drink.. Beautiful way to spend your afternoon.. Well done, Thank you Hawaiiactivities.com and Hawaii Nautical!!

A REALLY FUN EXPERIENCE!

I wasn't sure about a Luau IN Waikiki but this one was really enjoyable. You don't have to take a bus 45 minutes each way or more outside of Waikiki, as you have to do with the other Luau's, which is a real plus! The food was excellent with a big assortment so there's really something that everyone would like. There's not really a bad seat in the house either. Of course we were sitting front row and it was pretty cool. Worth the extra bucks, in my opinion. The performers were really top notch. I'm not sure what I expected but they definitely exceeded anything I could have imagined. Definitely the best fire-dancers I've ever seen and I live here, so I've seen many. The whole experience was really fun and impressive. A great way to experience the culture of the islands.

A QUALITY EXPERIENCE 1st CLASS FUN!

I've been on other snorkeling cruises but was REALLY IMPRESSED with the boat and the crew. The boat was very clean, open and comfortable. Having great his and her bathrooms was a nice plus as well. The crew were fun, informative and professional. They make you feel very comfortable and taken care of. Swimming with the turtles was a total treat. There's a crew member in the water with you the entire time and they are not only looking out for your safety but are answering questions about the fish, turtles and the total area. In addition, they are educating you so you really "swim" away knowing more than when you came. The sailing portion was really relaxing and peaceful. It's great to see Waikiki & Diamond Head Crater from the water and being able to leave on this trip from the Hilton is a real plus. Even the food and snacks were good. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Our friend recommended that we do this cruise and boy was I not disappointed. I have been on several other snorkeling trips before but never have i been so close to turtles! The staff was really amazing and it even comes with 3 free alcoholic drinks! The lunch was very ono as well. Over all a really fun day!

When I participated, there were seven foreigners and four Japanese people. There was also an explanation in Japanese, and I had a lot of fun. If you pay an additional $30, the staff over there will take photos with their camera. They gave me the photos along with an SD card. I think it's a good deal since I got 140 photos with a 2GB card. It seems that it’s also possible for three people, as the foreign guests were a couple with a child.

I tried parasailing for the first time with him. At first, the staff told us, "Not this boat! That one!" and it was quite chaotic. In the end, we were able to get on the boat, but it felt a bit invasive.

Parasailing was so much fun! Due to the weather, only two groups, including us, were able to fly... but we were lucky to be the last ones to board the boat despite our packed schedule!

I was nervous until we took off, but the beautiful view of Waikiki and the round rainbow we saw when looking down were amazing!

Since we understood English, we were able to enjoy it, but it might be a bit inconvenient for those who don't speak English. They speak quickly, and I think you might wonder what they are saying.

I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness take some medication.

It became a really great memory!☆

はじめにスタッフの人に
“こっちの船じゃない！あっちだ！”
と追いやられ、てんやわんやでした。
結局船には乗せてもらえましたがちょっと侵害でした。

パラセイリングはとっても楽しかったです！
お天気の関係で私たちを含めて２組しか飛べませんでしたが…予定びっしりの私たちが一番最後に船に乗り込めてラッキーでした！

飛ぶまではどきどきでしたが、ワイキキのきれいな景色と、なんといっても下を見下ろしたときに見れた丸い虹は最高でした！

英語がわかる私たちだったので楽しめましたが、
英語がわからないとちょっと不便です。
早口ですし、何言ってるのかなぁ？って思ってしまうと思います。

酔いやすい人は酔い止めを飲むことをお勧めします。

I participated in the Japanese guide's time slot.
I recommend it for those who can't snorkel or dive.
I joined for my 5-year-old son.
We could see sharks and turtles, and we received a pamphlet (in Japanese!) with a list of possible sea creatures we might see, so my son was quite happy comparing the pamphlet with what we saw on the ocean floor.
However, the diving time is a bit long at 45 minutes, so towards the end, it can get a little boring.
Also, it felt like the air conditioning was a bit too strong, so I recommend bringing warm items like a shawl or cardigan.
The staff at the dock were very kind and treated my son very nicely, which was great.

All in all, was a good experience. The entertainment was excellent. Much less people than at the Polynesian Cultural Center lu'au which was very nice. The only problem was the server who was extremely rude and sarcastic and made a part of the night very unpleasant.

It was a trip to Hawaii for me, my son, and my 75-year-old mother. However, since my mother's legs were not in good condition before departure, my son and I participated in optional activities separately from her. She joined the submarine tour alone.

The transportation service was said to be kind and attentive. Since the explanation was in Japanese, it was easy to understand and enjoy. She was able to see turtles and many fish swimming.

Additionally, she noticed that Cessnas and boats were intentionally sunk in the fish tanks, where divers were seen diving. For small children, elderly people, or those who want to avoid getting sunburned at the sea, I recommend the submarine and similar activities. This was my fifth time going to Hawaii, but it was my first time parasailing. The time spent in the air is about 10 minutes, but the motorboat moves quickly, and it's fun because you can also enjoy whale watching while you're on it. Up in the sky, the movement is slow, so from below, it looks like you're going quite high, but it's not scary at all. There was no shaking either. I want to do it again.

It was an exciting activity that I was nervous to participate in, but I'm glad I did! The time spent in the air felt like it was over in an instant, and it didn't even seem like 10 minutes. It was a surreal experience, especially with airplanes flying nearby! Additionally, on the way to the parasailing point, I even got to see whales! I felt like I got a bonus with the whale watching. I highly recommend it!

I've lived in Waikiki for the last 5 years, a block from beach, and watched the para-sailers every day. It was always on my to do list but I never made the time. After finally doing it, I wish I had done it sooner! It's such a fun and beautiful experience. Not only do you get to parasail, you get the boat ride and the view of Waikiki from the ocean! We also saw whales jumping which was really the icing on the cake. Being able to float above Waikiki was scenic and peaceful and a rush, all at the same time. The crew is very talented and a make the experience fun as well. What an amazing feeling as you lift off the back of the boat and gently float up. A must do!

I participated in mid-November.

The day before, I went to take sunset photos while confirming the meeting place, and since the catamaran had just returned, I assumed this was the right spot. However, when I arrived on the day, the catamaran was gone, and I panicked. I asked a nearby hotel staff, and they said it was "five hotels down." Since I was cutting it close to the meeting time, I dashed over, and just as I did, the catamaran was coming towards the beach from offshore. (Sweat, sweat, sweat)
≪Refer to the sign in the photo for the meeting place...≫

I misunderstood because the hotel was part of the same group.
(The meeting place is in front of Outrigger Reef on the Beach, but I ended up at Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach. Please be careful.) Looking back, the catamaran that returned was also a different boat.

At the reception, there was one staff member who understood some Japanese (they had a Japanese reference book), but the other staff seemed not to understand Japanese.

Once on board, there was an explanation of precautions, all in English (which is to be expected).

About five minutes in, my wife got seasick. (I recommend taking seasickness medication for those who are prone to it.)
When we reached the turtle habitat point, snorkeling and free diving began (you can dive about 10 meters).
We stayed there for about an hour.
We encountered over ten turtles, which was incredibly moving.

After that, we cruised around the bay and were able to see Diamond Head and the hotel cluster from the sea, which was also impressive.

Next time, I would like to take the sunset cruise and see the sunset from the boat.

参加前日にサンセットの写真を撮りに行きながら集合場所の確認に行き丁度カタマランが帰って来たのでこの場所で良いと思い込み、当日を迎えてその場所に行くとカタマランが無く、焦ってしまい近くのホテルのスタッフに聞くと『５つ先のホテル』との事でした。
集合時間ギリギリだったのでダッシュして行くと沖合からカタマランがビーチに向かって来ました。（汗・汗・汗）
≪集合場所は、写真の看板を参考に・・・≫

ホテルが同じグループだったので勘違いしてしまいました。
（アウトリガー・リーフ・オン・ザ・ビーチ前が集合場所ですが、アウトリガー・ワイキキ・オン・ザ・ビーチ前に行ってしまいました。要注意して下さい。）
今、思うと帰って来たカタマランも違う船でした。

受付では、片言の日本語が解るスタッフ（日本語の参考書を持ってました。）が一人いましたが、その他のスタッフは日本語が解らない様子でした。

乗船してから注意事項等説明が有ります。すべて英語（当然ですよね。）

５分位で嫁さんは、船酔いでダウン。（船に弱い方は酔止め
の投薬をおすすめします。）
ホヌの生息ポインに着くとシュノーケリング・素潜り開始
（１０ｍ位潜れます。）
１時間位停泊していました。
１０匹以上のホヌに遭遇し大感動でした。

その後、湾内のクルージングしてくれ海上からダイヤモンドヘッド、ホテル群を見る事が出来てこれも感動です。


次回は、サンセットクルーズに乗船し船上からのサンセットを見てみたいです。

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the parasailing. It was a tremendously relaxing feeling for both of us. We took the 1000 ft. line and would do it again. Captain Duncan and crewman Kevin were both jovial and attentive to detail. Felt safe at all times.

There was a staff member who spoke Japanese, so I felt at ease. I spent an hour sitting on the net at the front, feeling the waves. Snacks and drinks were free, but I hardly had any. However, it was a lot of fun. Just be careful about getting sunburned!

I went with high expectations, but if you are prone to seasickness, please be careful.

It's definitely better to take motion sickness medication.

The staff is accustomed to dealing with Japanese customers, so there are no issues.

I also noticed an interesting policy at the reception where customers who cause trouble pay an extra $10.

I thought it would be nice to experience it at least once, so I encourage everyone to give it a try.

We went on our Honeymoon and this was one of the activities that we have done. If this is your first time surfing, don't fret. The staff are professional and they teach you all the basics. Opt for the private lessons because if you are tired from paddling, the instructor can help you back to the waves hence more opportunity for you to keep on practicing to get better. The photographer was great as well as he managed to capture some great photos and you can get them all in a disc which was nice. Highly recommended...

I went on this tour with my friend, both of us have grown up around the water and have been snorkeling many times in Hawaii. On this tour, they take you to a snorkel spot called turtle canyon. However, turtle canyon is between 40 and 50 feet deep and your basically staring down at a reef that is so far down there are scuba divers below you AND it is not a secluded snorkeling spot but rather an open ocean spot far away from the shore of waikiki beach... like, past where the surfers are!
I found it to be a little scary and the "guide" kept swimming off leaving my friend and I to chase him and not guiding us at all. Once the word "sharks" was mentioned, i swam back to the boat (a 5minute swim back btw).
On another note, the sailing part was lovely and relaxing and we saw TONS OF DOLPHINS, the lunch was good as was the champagne and other drinks. The crew was great as well... except for the snorkel guide that kept leaving us to float alone in the middle of the ocean.

I live in Hawaii half the time.

My friend is coming to Hawaii and wants to try surfing, so I signed up for lessons. I can ride the waves, but I don't have the skill or stamina to teach, so I signed up for my friend's sake.

In reality, surfing has its own competition for waves (territory?), but here, you can take lessons at a long-established place with no complaints.

No matter which instructor you get, most people are able to stand up on the board, and if there are any who haven't yet, they focus on helping them, which I think is very considerate.

自分は波乗りをするのですが教えるほどの技量や体力がないので友達の為に申し込みました。

実際にサーフィンは波取り合戦が（縄張り？）があるので、ここは老舗で文句なしの状態でレッスンを受けれます。

どの先生にあたっても、ほとんどの人が立てますし、まだ立ててない人がいると集中的に手伝ってくれたりと、かなり良心的だと思います。

My family of 5 had a blast parasailing. The staff were great and made the experience a lot of fun. The time in the boast went by so fast but when I was up in the air, the time seemed to stand still. The ride is very peaceful and the views are outstanding. I didn't even mind the dunk in the ocean on our way down to the boat.
The value of the activities was very high, especially considering the discounted price we received at Hawaii Activities.
