We participated as a family.
We were the only Japanese people, and everyone else was foreign.
So... the captain's explanations were all in English... Unfortunately, I couldn't catch what was being explained, but I just went with the atmosphere. (laughs)

The captain (handsome!!) and the other crew members talked to us a lot (in English, lol), and I even got to sit in the cockpit and had a special Mai Tai made by the captain. We had a really fun time!

As for the sunset... unfortunately, clouds covered the sky just when it was supposed to be perfect, so we couldn't see the beautiful orange colors...
However, cruising while feeling the wind and looking at Waikiki was truly the best!!

肝心のサンセットですが・・・ちょうど良い感じのときに雲がかかってしまいきれいなオレンジを見ることができませんでした・・・。
が、風をうけながらワイキキを眺めながらのクルージング、本当に最高でした！！

I don't know when I'll be able to go to Hawaii next, so I wanted to do something that can only be done while I'm young, like skydiving or parasailing. My friend, who is not good with heights, said she could manage parasailing, so we went with that. After it was over, she said it was super fun and that she was glad we did it! We were picked up and went straight to the boat. There was no one who spoke Japanese, and the explanations were all in English. I understood that we needed to put our bags and shoes under the seats by watching the gestures. While the staff was explaining, my friend asked me to put her bag under my seat, and as I was doing that, I was scolded by the staff who said, "Look!"

When I tried to take a picture of the scenery with my phone camera while the boat was moving, I was told, "Don't let go!" I was fine with preparing for the jump because I carefully watched the other customers who were going before us and mentally prepared myself. 次いつハワイに行けるか分からないので、若いうちにしか出来ない事、カツ、ハワイでしか出来ない事で、スカイダイビングかパラセイルだったのですが、一緒に行く友達が観覧車もダメな人で、パラセイルならなんとか大丈夫だろうと言うのでパラセイルに。そんな友達も終わってから超~楽しかった♪やって良かった♪と言ってました★ピックアップしてもらい直ぐにボートへ。日本語が話せる人はおらず説明はずっと英語。ジェスチャーを見て荷物と靴は座席の下に入れる等分かりました。説明をスタッフがしている最中に、友達に荷物を私が座ってる座席の下に入れてと言われ、下に入れてると「ミテ！」と説明してるスタッフに注意をされました。ボートが走行中に携帯のカメラで景色を写真に撮ろうとしたら「ツカマッテ！！」とボートから手を離すなと注意されました。どうやって飛ぶ準備をするのか等は、先に飛ぶお客さんの様子をシッカリと見て学習して心の準備をしたので大丈夫でした。私達の番が来て装着して準備をしている時に、友達が足に通したベルトを腰の下に移動させようとしたらキャプテンに「モモノシタ！」と注意されました。持つ所も「シタ」と注意をされ、スタッフは日本語は話せなくても必要な言葉は知っているようなので心配はいらないと思います。飛ぶ前に写真を撮るかと聞かれ頼みました。岸に着いた時に「楽しかったらその分キャプテンにチップを渡してくれ」というような事を言われ皆20ドルぐらい渡してました。私達は細かいドルが無かったので日本円で2000円渡すと、他のお客から無表情で20ドル受け取ってたキャプテンが笑顔になって喜んでました。撮られた写真はSDカードで渡され、船着場の直ぐ近くにこのツアーの店があり、そこの大画面に表示させてちゃんと撮れてるかチェックしてくれ30ドル支払います。一眼レフのデジカメで、一組あたり約30~35枚とってくれます。飛んでる最中の海の景色も数枚入ってます。その支払いを待っている最中にカウンターを見ると、ボロボロなアルバムの様な物が･･･それはこのアクティビティーを分かりやすく出発から帰るまで全部を写真と日本語で説明してる日本人向けの物でした。どうもこの店に来て直接申し込みをする人用のようです。が、もう一冊用意してピックアップの車の中で読めるようにしてくれたらいいのになと思いました（＾＾；写真はボートから見た先に飛んでる人です。

I participated in the 130m deluxe slide, and before joining, I was worried about whether it would be scary to go up to the height of a 40-story building. However, it was much better than I expected, and I actually felt like I wanted to float even more—it was so enjoyable.

The view of the Hawaiian sea and the streets of Waikiki from above was a sight that I rarely get to see, and it became a wonderful memory. The staff member on the boat took pictures with a digital camera and sold the SD memory card (it was $30 when I went). I paid $50 including a tip.

Since you will be moving on a small boat, I recommend taking proper measures against seasickness before participating.

Once we entered, there was a long wait until the show started. Since we went on the day of our arrival, I ended up feeling sleepy towards the end of the show.

We had to go up in turns to get our food, but our seats were towards the back, so we had to wait quite a bit, and there wasn't much to do, which felt like a waste of time.

It might be nice for those who want to enjoy the show leisurely, but considering the quality of the food, I thought it was a bit pricey, even with the strong yen.

入ってから、ショーが始まるまでが長く、到着日に行ったので、ショーの終わりの方は睡くなって、しまいました。

Hans Hedemann Waikiki Surfing Lessons - Honolulu's Best Surf School

This was an intense, 2-hour surf lesson that I absolutely loved! The weather was perfect, and catching waves right in front of Diamond Head was amazing.

I wasn't sure what to expect going in, but the group lesson gave you a short intro into surfing and then helped you to ride the waves for the rest of the time. We spent a good amount of time (enough to exhaust me) in the water, with detailed instruction for each of the instructors. I was a bit worried when I got there with the amount of people, as I wasn't sure how it was going to work out, but the staff at Hans Hedemann made this a supa way to spend a Saturday morning.

Huge thanks go out to the surf instructors of the day, so thank you to Shawn, Easton, and Zara for keeping our huge group going for the full 2 hours, you guys were fantastic! A great time that i highly recommend to anyone and everyone visiting Waikiki!

We participated as a couple. On this day, besides us, there was an Italian family and two American couples.

One of the crew members, who could speak Japanese, talked to us. They had lived in Japan and knew a lot about the area where we live, so we had a fun conversation mixing English and Japanese, which is a nice memory.

Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day, and we could only see a little bit of the sunset through the gaps. It was a bit disappointing, but seeing Waikiki and Diamond Head from the ocean was lovely.

Since it was a small boat, it rocked quite a bit. We didn't take any motion sickness medication, but I was concerned about getting seasick and didn't feel like eating or drinking much. However, the foreigners were drinking and eating a lot. If you're worried, it might be a good idea to take motion sickness medication.

Also, while the wind feels nice, it might be a bit cold for women. I think it would be good to have something to cover up with.

クルーで、日本語を話せる方が話しかけてくれたのですが、
日本に住まれていたとかで（私達が住んでいる所も詳しくて）

あいにくの曇り空でサンセットは隙間から少し見えたくらい。
ちょっと残念でしたが、沖からみるワイキキ、ダイヤモンドヘッドも素敵でした~

小型の船なので、結構揺れます。
私達は酔い止め飲まなかったのですが、船酔いが気になって
あまり飲食する気になれず…。
外国の方は、ガンガンお酒飲んで食べまくってましたけど。
不安な方は、酔い止め飲んでおかれた方がよいかも。

あと、風が気持ち良いですが、女性には少し寒いかも。
羽織るもの、あるとよいと思います。

I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be quite an interesting experience. The pier was bright white and stood out beautifully against the blue sea. From here, we took a boat out to board the submarine, and that was quite enjoyable. Perhaps because of the strong winds, the boat was rocking so much that I could hardly stand without holding on to something. You can also see the submarine rising and sinking from the boat! The view from the submarine was decent, but it was fun as an attraction! My elderly grandmother also enjoyed it.

First of all, I thought there wouldn't be any staff who could speak Japanese, but maybe we just got lucky? A local male staff member explained everything to us in Japanese with great effort. The shuttle bus only spoke English, but we didn't feel any inconvenience and had a great time♪

First, we went out to sea at quite a speed, and we were launched to a height higher than we imagined (laughs), so if you're worried, I recommend taking motion sickness medication♪

The staff on board will take photos for you, but it costs $30. You'll receive an SD card when you get off the boat, and you can pay inside the building next to the dock. (私たちはもちろん「オーケー！」と叫びましたがｗ)

スリルもあり、あんなに高い位置からハワイの景色を一望できる機会なんてそうそうないので、参加して本当に良かった―――――！と思います！！

ちなみに画像は私たちアングルです。あの位船が小さく見えるほど高く上がります(笑)しかし想像以上に安定感があり、気持ち良いですよ！！

The day I participated, it was very windy, so we traveled by boat to the area with the submarine. If you get seasick, be sure to take medication! Once we dove, there was no movement at all, and it was super exciting and thrilling. Luckily, we were able to see turtles and sharks too! The scenery was amazing! The pier where the boat departs and the views during the trip were also fantastic, especially since the weather was great.

I think it's easy to understand because they teach in both English and Japanese. The area where you surf has a lot of rocks, so you need to be careful when you fall off the board. The instructor shows videos to explain how to fall safely.

The people I took the lesson with were a foreign couple, a group, and two children. Everyone was riding the waves. Paddling is really tiring, but I was happy to surf in Hawaii. Also, a long-sleeved rash guard is better to avoid chafing. They provided rash guards and surf shoes for us. You can also buy photos they take, which are available for a fee. Everyone was very friendly, and it was a lot of fun, truly Hawaiian!

Looking out at the sea from the submarine feels quite similar to an aquarium, but there's a sense of freedom with the fish swimming in various directions, and the excitement of not knowing what creatures you might see. I think it's definitely enjoyable. When I participated, I was able to see sharks and the sight of sea turtles swimming (though they usually tend to stay still). I do wish the travel time and the time for boarding and disembarking from the submarine were a bit shorter, but there's not much that can be done about that. I think it's best to join the experience with a relaxed mindset, enjoying the cruising as well.

The performance was wonderful. Since I chose the premium seats, I was able to enjoy it well, and I could eat at the buffet without waiting. However... I felt like something was missing, and upon reflection, it was that I couldn't participate, just watching. When I came to Hawaii before, during the sunset cruise, there was dancing right in front of me, and jumping in to participate was so much fun.

First of all, even though the meeting place was our hotel, it took a while for the guide to be identified. It seems that the dancer who was performing was the guide. We saw other tourists talking to that dancer and being taken somewhere, so we decided to try asking them too, and we were able to arrive safely.

Then, there was a long line to the venue, and it took a lot of time before we could take our seats. Since we had reserved Golden Circle seats, we sat in the front row, and those in the Golden Circle were prioritized for food, so we could start eating quickly. However, those in the regular seats seemed to go for food more than 30 minutes later, so I definitely recommend reserving Golden Circle seats.

Also, when ordering beer, it seems that Japanese people are often perceived as looking younger, so they checked our age. In our case, they didn't ask for a passport, but if you're concerned, it might be a good idea to bring an ID that shows your age.

The show featured dancers changing outfits one after another, and we got to see various dances. Personally, I found the solo dance of a little girl to be incredibly cute!

ゴールデンサークル席を予約していたので、一番前の席に座り、ゴールデンは食事を取りに行くのも優先なので、早く食べ始めることができましたが、普通席の方々は30分以上も後に食事を取りに行くかんじなので、ぜひゴールデンサークル席を予約されることをお勧めします☆

あとはビール注文時に、やはり日本人は若く見られるらしく年齢を確認されたので(20代後半の私)、私たちの場合はパスポート提示までは求められませんでしたが、心配な方は年齢がわかる身分証を持って行かれたほうが良いかと思います。

ショーはダンサーさん達が次から次へと着替え、色々なダンスを見ることができました☆
個人的に小さな女の子のソロダンスが可愛くて仕方なかったです+.(o´∀｀o).+

The show was in English, so I thought it would be more enjoyable if I understood the language, but the show itself was powerful and wonderful, so I was glad to participate. The food was decent, and it was interesting to have Hawaiian food as well. During the show, people celebrating their birthdays or those visiting for their honeymoon were brought to the front to be celebrated, which I think made for great memories. My husband and I are from Vancouver, BC Canada. We came to Honolulu, Hawaii for our honeymoon. We decided to do something adventurous as newly weds so we decided to do parasailing! It was also our first time! I did a lot of research on the different parsailing companies and found that Oahu Parasailing did not have any accidents at all. They also had very good reviews so I booked with them through Hawaii Activities. We went with the 8:00am departure & 600ft parasail. On the day of, The driver picked us up at the front of our hotel which was in Waikiki. He was very friendly and knowledgable. While he drived us around the city he told us where to go, where to eat, where the best and cheap things were. He gave us great advice! After we were dropped off, we went into the boat with a group of Japanese tourists. The captian and his assistant were very nice. We joined with high expectations, as it was advertised that the rope length is 150 meters, the longest in Hawaii.

Since the parachute is pulled by a boat, it felt more like flying far from the boat rather than going high up.

The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from above was wonderful.

However, both of my companions seemed to experience mild seasickness and parachute sickness, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication for those who are concerned.

Since I didn't plan to go into the ocean on this trip, I joined this tour hoping to see underwater life. First, we took a boat out to sea and switched to a submarine, and it was great to enjoy the beautiful view of Waikiki from the boat.

Once we switched to the submarine and dove into the ocean, I initially saw hardly any fish, just a few shadows in the distance, and I thought it would be like this the whole time. However, as we approached the reef, I was able to see a much larger school of fish than I had imagined, which made me very satisfied! It was much clearer to see with my own eyes than in photos. I think this activity is perfect for those who can't dive or snorkel.

I recommend the larger submarine that accommodates 64 people, as it has bigger windows. On the afternoon trip, the Japanese audio guide was provided through headsets, and I still enjoyed it a lot. However, listening to the English announcements, I noticed they provided various information tailored to the situation, so I believe the tour with a Japanese guide would be even more enjoyable.

今回の旅行では海に入る予定がなかったので、海の中が見れればいいとの思いでこのツアーに参加しました。
まずは船で沖に出て潜水艦に乗り換えるのですが、その船上からワイキキの美しい眺めを堪能できて良かったです。
潜水艦に乗り換えて海に潜ってしばらくは殆ど魚の影すら見えず、たまに遠くに魚影が見える程度でずっとこんな調子かなと思ったら、漁礁に近づくにつれて想像以上に大群の魚を見ることができて大満足でした！写真で見るより肉眼ではもっとはっきり見えました。ダイビングやシュノーケリングができない人にはもってこいのアクティビティだと思います。
潜水艦は64人乗りの窓が大きい方がおススメです。
午後の便で日本語はヘッドセットでの音声案内でしたが、それでも十分楽しめました。でも英語アナウンスを聞いていると、その場に合わせて臨機応変に色々な情報を提供していたので、やっぱり日本語ガイドの便の方がより楽しめると思います。
