We thoroughly enjoyed the shows featuring Hawaiian dance, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and more, and my two granddaughters were extremely satisfied! The reason is that Elvis appears in the animated movie "Lilo & Stitch," which is currently very popular among little kids, and there are many of his songs featured in the film. So, my granddaughters, aged 6 and 3, were overjoyed to see someone who looked just like Elvis right in front of them. Of course, the hula dance was also wonderful! This event was great! Thank you very much.

　その理由は、今、ちびっ子の間で、大人気のリロ&ステッチのアニメ映画の中に、プレスリーが出ているし、プレスリーの歌う曲が映画の中にいっぱいでているんです。だから、6才と3才の孫たちは、そのプレスリーのそっくりさんが目の前に出てきて、大喜びでした。
勿論、フラダンスも素晴らしかったですよ！本企画、良かったです！ありがとうございました。

The voucher issued states that the check-in location is "Hilton Hawaiian Village - Mid-Pacific Conference Center Rooftop." I heard that seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so I planned to arrive early and wait on the rooftop for a good seat. However, even after the scheduled time, no reception staff or anyone else showed up, and the local contact number was unreachable as the business hours had ended. In the end, I just had to go down to the venue and check in directly after the scheduled time. Unfortunately, I ended up at the back of the line and couldn't get a good seat, which was very disappointing. The luau show itself was good.

席は先着順と聞いたため、良い席を取りたいと考え予定の時間より早く屋上に集合して待っていましたが、予定時間を過ぎても受付スタッフも誰も現れず、現地連絡先の電話番号も営業時間が終了しておりつながらず。結局時間を過ぎて会場まで下りて行って直接受付すればよいだけでした。おかげで列の最後の並んでよい席は取れず、大変残念でした。
ルアウショー自体はよかったです。

On July 19th, during our trip to Hawaii, my family and I (a party of 12) attended the Waikiki Luau with All-You-Can-Eat Buffet, Fire Dance & Rock-A-Hula. Unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing experiences of our trip.

From the start, the event felt more like a tourist trap than a cultural celebration. The performers wore plastic grass skirts and danced on astroturf, which cheapened the experience and made it feel like a stylized imitation rather than a tribute to Hawaiian tradition.

The buffet was just as underwhelming. The meats were dry and chewy, and several of us left our meals half-eaten. We all ended up searching for food elsewhere after the show.

When purchasing tickets, we noted that they included premier seating for the show—something we specifically chose so the younger members of our group could engage and see the performance clearly. However, we were seated near the back with no explanation. The seating appeared entirely random, and there was no effort to honor the premier designation.

The show itself was bizarre. It was supposedly a journey through Hawaiian music and culture, but the execution was confusing. While we expected an Elvis tribute, it felt like a full concert with song after song. Then came a Michael Jackson impersonator performing Thriller and several other full-length songs. We learned during the show that he once performed at Aloha Stadium, but the connection felt forced and irrelevant. A few of us dozed off, while others sat in disbelief trying to make sense of it.

The performance dragged on far too long. With a tighter runtime and focus on authentic Hawaiian culture, it could have been enjoyable. The fire dancer was the highlight, but came too late to redeem the evening.

Overall, this luau was inauthentic, overpriced, and not worth it. We wouldn’t recommend it.

They put a lei around my neck and took photos for me! After a delicious meal, the hula show started, and I really felt like I was in Hawaii. I was taught a simple hula dance and was able to participate as well. It became a wonderful memory.

Starting with Hawaiian music and dance from the 1920s, and moving through the historic concerts in Hawaii featuring Elvis in the 1950s and 60s, and Michael Jackson in the 1980s and 90s, you can enjoy a performance filled with song and dance. After the show, you can interact with the performers and take commemorative photos. The two lead roles may be played by different artists than those shown in promotional photos, as they are likely double or triple cast. I believe even those who are not familiar with that era will find it enjoyable.

1920年代のハワイ音楽とダンスから始まり、1950〜60年代のプレスリー、1980〜1990年代のマイケルジャクソンと、ハワイで歴史的なコンサートを行なった事実をベースに歌とダンスで楽しめます。ショー終了後は出演者たちとの触れ合いや記念写真が撮れます。主演の2人はダブルキャストかトリプルキャストだと思うので宣伝の写真とは違うArtistが出演する場合があります。当時を知らない世代の方でも楽しめると思います。

I had experienced Rock Aloha once before the pandemic, but I wanted to experience it again, so I participated. Even the second time, I had a great time. Both Elvis and Michael Jackson were a lot of fun, and the Hawaiian atmosphere was really nice. I plan to come back to see it again.

ロックアフラは、コロナ前に一度体験済みでしたが、今一度体感したく、参加しました。二度目でも、大変楽しく参加出来ました。プレスリーもマイケルジャクソンもとても楽しかったし、ハワイアンの雰囲気もとても良かったです。また見に来ようと思っております。

Not suitable for families with children. That's why I give it ⭐️3. It might be good for those who like Elvis and Michael Jackson. I don't think the show would fit well for families with kids or for younger people who aren't familiar with those two. Given the timing, the kids were asleep the whole time. The live music and singing were very good.

エルビス、マイケルジャクソンがお好きな方には良いかも。子連れや上記の2人をあまり知らない若い方にはあまりフィットしないと思われるショーでした。時間帯的にも子供は終始爆睡でした。生音と生歌なのはとても良かったです。

We were the last table to get the food, while many trays already empty and no deserts. When we wanted to have more food in second round, all trays were removed. We pay the same amount of money but we didn’t receive the equal service. Such a bad experience.

The show has a storyline and is very impressive. It is available in English. Even if you’re not a VIP, you can get good seats if you line up early! The food is a buffet, and you can eat a lot. Having meals included is a plus. This show is a must-see!!

We come back often from California and always have a luau at the Hilton . It’s fun, great story telling. Great performances and food! Highly recommend

We enjoyed the dinner and of course the main Show ..we definitely will come back again.

We were staying at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki. I would look down from our room and see the small area the luau was being performed in. I was skeptical because any luaus we had previously been to were done in large areas. We were all pleasantly surprised at how welcoming the staff were! The show itself was very well done and the acts were both beautiful and memorable. The setting was small and intimate. There were 9 of us total and we were all very pleased! Music and singing were great!

Since I am learning hula dancing, watching an authentic hula show was very informative and I had a wonderful time. It was a highly satisfying event.

What a fantastic Luau! The emcee had the audience participating, laughing & entertained. The dancers and the music was outstanding! Food and drinks were simply yummy!

We purchased this event with no expectations good or bad, After a terrific meal and such a variety of good food next came a amazing show well choreographed and just plain goodtime for everyone in attendance

Harasho is never boring as you can see various types of things while tracing back through history. Michael Jackson makes an appearance, and there’s a fire show, so I had a great time! The show is in English, but I think you can still enjoy it even if you don't understand English!

ハラショーは、歴史を遡りながら色々な種類のものを見ることができるので、飽きません。マイケルジャクソンが出てきたり、ファイヤショーがあるので、すごく楽しめました！ショーは英語ですが、英語がわからなくても楽しめると思います！

I visit this show almost every year. This year, the cast for Presley and Michael has changed. Michael didn't resemble him very much... But the show itself is enjoyable, and I'm glad I went. I guess it's inevitable that the buffet food before the show isn't very tasty.

I made a reservation to make my 78-year-old father happy! The buffet offers delicious food, and you can take as much as you can eat. The hula dance includes lessons, so everyone can participate without feeling nervous. A lovely lady playing the ukulele went around the tables singing requested songs, which was truly heartwarming! My father, who is dealing with sciatica and taking painkillers in Hawaii, had the biggest smile in a photo with the nostalgic Elvis Presley! Not only is there Old Hawaii, but the show also features Moana's hula dance. The fire dance in the VIP section is incredibly powerful!

I participated in a monitor tour, and the show was amazing, exceeding my expectations.

I knew it was at the Royal Hawaiian Center, but this was my first time attending. Before the show, there was a luau, and I enjoyed watching hula dancing right next to me, as well as a hula lesson that participants could join in on, which was fun.

When I arrived at the venue, I was given a lei and seated. While waiting for dinner, I enjoyed pineapple and mai tais while listening to the ukulele. However, this waiting time felt a bit long, so I thought it would be nice if the time from check-in to the start of dinner was shortened, or if there were activities like hula lessons or lei making available.

The food was plentiful, with so many varieties that I couldn't finish it all.

The show was more powerful than I expected, with exciting dances and songs while watching Hawaii's history on the screen. Even though I knew the performers were impersonators of Michael and Elvis, I was captivated by their energy. The final fire knife dance, where the floor became a sea of fire, was surprising. It's definitely worth seeing.

After the show, being able to take photos with Elvis, Michael, and the dancers makes for a great memory.

モニターツアーがあったので、参加させていただきましたが、期待以上に引き付けられるショーが最高でした。

ロイヤルハワイアンセンターなので、あるのは知っていたのですが、今回初めて参加しました。ショーの前に、ルアウがあり、すぐ横でフラダンスがみられたり、実際に希望者が参加できるフラレッスンもあって、楽しかったです。

会場に着くと、レイをかけてもらって、席に着き、食事の時間までパイナップルとマイタイで、ウクレレを聞いたりするのですが、この間がちょっと手持無沙汰なので、受付から食事開始の時間をもう少し短くするか、フラレッスンや、レイメイキングなどがあるといいかな～とも思いました。
お料理も盛りだくさんで、食べきれないくらい、いろいろ種類がありました。

ショーは、期待以上に迫力があって、ハワイの歴史をスクリーンで見ながら、趣向を凝らしたダンスや歌で盛り上がります。マイケルやエルビスのそっくりさんのステージも、そっくりさんとわかってはいても、その迫力に魅了されました。最後のファイアーナイフダンスは、床が一面火の海になる演出もあって、びっくり。ぜひ、見る価値ありです。

ショーの後は、エルビスやマイケル、ダンサーたちと写真が撮れるのも、よい記念になります。

Before the show, there was a buffet where we could enjoy delicious food. While waiting, there was a service that played requested songs on the ukulele. I took a little bit of everything from the dishes, and since there were many options, it turned out to be quite a lot. Additionally, there was a dance performance while we were eating, which made the meal enjoyable. The dessert afterward was also delicious. However, it took quite a while for the food to be served after the gathering time had passed. It would have been appreciated if they could have started the meal a bit earlier.

The show afterward was also fun and very lively. They performed impersonations of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. To be honest, I wasn't very familiar with Elvis Presley, but I enjoyed all of Michael Jackson's songs. The dancing was all at a high level and impressive. However, it might have been even more captivating if everyone had a similar body shape.

そのあとのショーも楽しくとても盛り上がりました。エルビスプレスリーとマイケルジャクソンのモノマネを披露してくれるのですが、正直エルビスプレスリーはあまり詳しくなかったのですがマイケルジャクソンの曲は全て楽しく見させていただきました。ダンスは全てレベルが高くてすごかったです。ただし、全員の体形が揃っているともっと見ごたえがあったかもしれません。

I wanted to try everything, so I took a little bit of each dish, but there were so many options that it ended up being quite a lot. While we were eating, there was a dance performance, which made the meal enjoyable. The dessert afterward was also tasty! (The strawberries were a bit sour, though.)

However, there was quite a long wait from the time we gathered until the food was served. I wish we could have eaten a bit sooner.

そのあとのショーも楽しくとても盛り上がりました。エルビスプレスリーとマイケルジャクソンのモノマネを披露してくれるのですが、正直エルビスプレスリーはあまり詳しくなくそこまで盛り上がれなかったのですがマイケルジャクソンの曲は全て楽しく見させていただきました。でもフラメインで参加されるとちょっとそのパートが長いと思ってしまうかもです。
ダンスは全てレベルが高くてすごかったです。

This is the entertainment I wanted to see, rock and hula! One more king of rock and roll! It's a great memory to be able to take a photo with the performers at the end.

I thought it would be nice to shorten the time for the impersonators a bit and increase the variety of hula. Elvis's voice was raspy, giving a sense of performing with enthusiasm.

そっくりさんの時間を少し短縮して、フラのバリエーションを増やしてもと思いました。
エルビスさんの声がガラガラで勢いで演じてる感が。

In my group, there was someone who really liked Elvis. During the event, there was a moment when Elvis walked around the audience while singing, and he gave me a red scarf. I was very happy about that. The scarves were distributed to several people, so if you want one, make sure to express your interest!

Overall, it was a lot of fun. The announcements were made in both English and Japanese, so even if you're not good at English, you can feel at ease.

途中、エルヴィスが歌いながら客席を回るイベントがあり、彼から赤いマフラーをもらっていました。とても嬉しかったです。
マフラーは何人かに配られていました。欲しい人はアピールをしっかりしてみてください。

全体的にずっと楽しかったです。注意アナウンスは英語と日本語でされるので、英語が苦手でも安心でした。

At first, I honestly thought, "Is this going to be an old-fashioned show?" and didn't have high expectations. However, once I participated, I was completely surprised in a good way. This was not just a tourist event; it was a special experience filled with the essence of Hawaii—the air, warmth, and kindness of the people.

I attended the "VIP Waikiki Luau Buffet & Show." It starts with a buffet-style dinner. Each table is set with plates, and you serve yourself. The beautifully roasted pork and roast beef are cut carefully by the chef right in front of you, creating a lively atmosphere! There’s also a wide variety of fresh salads, yakisoba, grilled chicken, and more, which made my plate overflow.

Before the meal, we were served a welcome Mai Tai. It had a tropical aroma that perfectly matched the Hawaiian atmosphere. With a Mai Tai in hand, a naturally smiling time began.

Amidst this, a local woman appeared with a ukulele. She had the vibe of a lovely neighbor rather than a staff member, and she went around to each table, delivering gentle and warm live performances. Even though it was a short time, being enveloped by her singing and the atmosphere felt like my heart was melting away.

During the meal, hula dancers performed authentic hula right in front of us. Their vibrant yet graceful movements felt like the very essence of the Hawaiian breeze. The dancers were so close that it felt easy to take photos. Additionally, the "Hula Dance Experience Time" started, allowing anyone to join in casually. Invited by the dancers, both children and adults naturally joined the circle, laughing as they experienced the hula steps. The entire venue was wrapped in a warm and cozy atmosphere.

Afterward, we walked about 30 seconds from the dining area to the main show venue. This is where "Rock-a-Hula" truly begins. On stage, impersonators of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson appeared! Their singing and dancing were astonishingly high-quality, creating an impression of "living entertainment" that went beyond mere impersonation. Enjoying classic hits from legendary stars with the latest lighting and a powerful live band is truly a unique charm of this show.

Above all, what came through from the performers and staff was their genuine desire for the guests to have a great time. Their thoughtful attention and warm responses were felt in every moment, and before I knew it, my initial impression of "this might be old-fashioned" had completely vanished.

Rock-a-Hula is an experience that transforms a Hawaiian night into a special memory. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been yet; it was a time filled with smiles and happiness.

はじめは正直、「昔ながらのショーかな？」とあまり期待していなかったんです。でも実際に参加してみると、それは完全にいい意味で裏切られました。これは、ただの観光イベントではなく、ハワイの空気や温かさ、人の優しさまでもがぎゅっと詰まった、とっておきの体験でした。

参加したのは「VIPワイキキルアウビュッフェ＆ショー」。まずはビュッフェスタイルのディナーから始まります。各テーブルにはお皿が用意されていて、自分で料理を取りに行くスタイル。豪快にローストされた豚やローストビーフは、シェフが目の前で一枚ずつ丁寧にカットしてくれて、ライブ感満点！ さらにフレッシュなサラダや焼きそば、グリルチキンなど種類も豊富で、思わずプレートが山盛りになってしまいました。

食事の前には、ウェルカムマイタイが一杯ついてきます。これがまたトロピカルな香りで、ハワイの空気にぴったり。マイタイを片手に、自然と笑顔になるような時間が始まります。

そんな中、ふと現れたのがウクレレを抱えたローカルの女性。スタッフというより、まるでご近所の素敵なおばあちゃんといった雰囲気の彼女が、各テーブルをまわりながら、優しくあたたかい音色で生演奏を届けてくれます。短い時間ながら、その歌声と空気に包まれて、心がふわっと解けていくようなひとときでした。

そして、食事中には目の前でフラダンサーたちが本場のフラを披露。華やかでありながらも優美な動きは、まるでハワイの風そのもの。ダンサーとの距離がとても近くて、写真を撮るのも遠慮なくできる雰囲気。さらにその場で始まる「フラダンス体験タイム」は、誰でも気軽に参加できます。ダンサーに誘われて、子どもも大人も自然と輪に加わり、笑いながらフラのステップを体験。会場全体がほんわかとあたたかい空気に包まれました。

その後、食事会場から30秒ほど歩いて本格的なショー会場へ。ここからが「ロック・ア・フラ」の本番です。ステージには、あのエルヴィス・プレスリーやマイケル・ジャクソンのそっくりさんたちが登場！ 歌もダンスも驚くほどの完成度で、ただのモノマネを超えた“生きたエンターテインメント”という印象。往年のスターの名曲を、最新の照明と迫力の生バンドで楽しめるのは、まさにこのショーならではの魅力です。

そして何より、演者やスタッフから伝わってくるのは「お客さんに心から楽しんでもらいたい」という思い。細やかな気配りやあたたかい対応が、すべての瞬間に感じられて、気づけば最初の「古いかも？」という印象はどこかへ吹き飛んでいました。

ロック・ア・フラは、ハワイの夜を特別な思い出に変えてくれる体験です。まだ行ったことのない人にはぜひおすすめしたい、笑顔と幸福感あふれる時間でした。

The food was delicious and there were various options to enjoy. I was moved by taking photos with the cast, including look-alikes of Michael Jackson, who resembled him very well.

The buffet had a wide variety of dishes, which was satisfying. However, I didn't find the taste to be that delicious. I wasn't expecting much from the show, but it turned out to be very entertaining.

ビュッフェは品数が多く満足でした。ただ味はそこまで美味しいとは感じませんでした。ショーはあまり期待していなかったもののとても面白かったです。

It was exactly the day Michael performed, so I enjoyed it even more! The singing sister was very beautiful and wonderful. It was fun.

I attended the performance alone, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. The quality of the local Hawaiian singers, musicians, and dancers was beyond my expectations. The Elvis and MJ impersonators have been performing for a long time, and they were consistently good.

公演のみで1人で参加しましたが、充分楽しめました。
ハワイローカルの歌い手やミュージシャン、ダンサーのクオリティが想像以上に高かった。
エルビスやMJのそっくりさんも長いこと公演されているのもあって、安定して良かった。
