We participated in the Thursday evening show after searching for various options at the request of my child who wanted to see a fire dance. There were some Japanese attendees, but the majority were foreigners.

The venue was about 60% full, and even though we arrived about 10 minutes before the show started, we were able to sit quite close to the front. The seating was not reserved, so it was first come, first served.

I looked into other tours as well, but since the fire dance itself only lasts about 5 minutes out of the total show time of over an hour, I chose this tour because it seemed to have a structure that would keep us entertained without getting bored.

In addition to the Hawaiian-themed show, the singing and dancing performances by impersonators of Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley were spectacular, and even though I wasn't a big fan of theirs, I enjoyed it very much.

There was also an announcement that photography during the show was allowed, and everyone was taking pictures and videos all around. After the show, the performers, including Michael and Presley, came out to the lobby for individual photos and handshakes.

Many young foreigners in their teens and twenties were also asking for photos and handshakes, which made me feel once again the greatness of Michael and Presley. It was an affordable show that was highly enjoyable even for those who are not fans, and it exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it!

ファイヤーダンスを見たいとの子供のリクエストでいろいろ探した上で木曜日夜の部に参加。日本人もいたが、大半の参加者は外国人だった。
会場内は6割くらいの入りで、開演10分くらい前の入場だったが結構前の席に座ることができた。席は指定ではなく、早い者勝ちの様子。
他のツアーも調べたが全体1時間超のショー時間のうちファイヤーダンス自体は5分程度なので、飽きることなく楽しめそうな構成のものということでこのツアーを選択。
ハワイアンなショーに加え、マイケルジャクソンとエルビスプレスリーのそっくりさんによる歌とダンスパートが圧巻で、特に彼らのファンでもなかったがとても楽しめた。
またショーの撮影もokとアナウンスあり、みんなそこかしこで写真や動画撮影をしていた。
終了後、マイケルやプレスリーら出演者がロビーに出てきて個別撮影や握手に応じてくれた。
外国人の10〜20代くらいの若者も多くが写真や握手を求めており、改めてマイケルやプレスリーの偉大さを感じさせた。
手頃な値段で特にファンでなくても大いに楽しめた、予想以上に楽しめるおすすめのショーだった。

Since I was in Hawaii, I wanted to see a show at least once, and I was torn between the Chief's Luau, the Polynesian Show, and Rock-A-Hula. The deciding factor was the location. I stayed at Waikiki Grove, which was about a 10-minute walk away, making access excellent.

The backstage tour was guided by an actual stage manager, who made it entertaining. Since the tour is conducted in English, I thought it would be more enjoyable if you have some understanding of the show's overview (the English was quite simple, so I think you can grasp it to some extent).

The tour includes a commemorative photo with a star, but the photo is taken in the star's green room during the backstage tour, and there wasn't a special time set aside for photos with the stars. However, you do receive a proper commemorative photo! Of course, after the show, you can line up like the other participants to take pictures as well!

The show venue is air-conditioned and can get quite cold, so please be sure to bring a cardigan.

せっかくのハワイなので一回はショーを見たいと思い、コーブルルアウかポリネシアンショーか、ロックアフラかで迷っていました。
決め手は立地です。ワイキキグローブに泊まりましたが徒歩10分ほど、アクセスが抜群によかったです。
バックヤードツアーは実際の舞台マネージャーが面白く案内してくれました。英語での案内になるので、ある程度ショーの概要はわかっている方が楽しめるかなと思いました(かなり易しい英語でしたのでなんとなくは理解できると思います)
スターとの記念写真が含まれてますが、
バックヤードツアーで訪れるスターの控え室(グリーンルーム)での写真で、スターとの写真は特に特別時間が設けられてるわけではなかったです。記念写真はちゃんとしたものが頂けました！もちろんショー終了後、他の参加者と同様列にならんで写真はとれましたよ！

I signed up for a dinner buffet tour, and I was able to enjoy a wide variety of dishes. Although I'm not good at English, there was a person from Norway sitting next to me, and we had a great time until the end of the show using gestures, broken English, and their broken Japanese.
The show featured performances that were incredibly impressive, resembling Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. The hula show was also captivating, with singing and dancing that were all perfectly executed.
I would love to participate again; it was a wonderful experience with the food and the show.

夕食ビュッフェ付きツアーを申し込みましたが、料理の種類が多く堪能できました。英語が苦手な私ですが隣の席にノルウェーの方がいて身振り、手振りとカタコト英語と相手のカタコトの日本語でショーの終わりまで楽しく過ごすことができました。
ショーもエルビスプレスリー、マイケルジャクソンの物まねとは思えないほどの内容で堪能しました。またフラショーも見ごたえが有り、歌と踊り全てが完成されていて素晴らしかった。
また参加したい、見てみた食事、ショーでした。

The female performer kindly escorted us, and my 2-year-old child had a great time. By the end, my child had become attached and seemed sad to say goodbye. The backstage tour was fascinating, and it was interesting to see how the props used in the hula dance show were prepared. The food was delicious, and since we had great seats for the show, we really enjoyed it. It's a show that makes you think, "Hawaii is fun!" so I would recommend this tour for beginners in Hawaii.

出演者の女性が優しくエスコートしてくださり、2歳の子どもも、とても楽しんでいました。最後には懐いて、別れるのが寂しそうなくらいでした。バックステージツアーは興味深く、その後のフラダンスショーで使われる小道具など、こんなふうになってるんだとわかって面白かったです。食事も美味しく、ショーは席の良い位置だったため、とても楽しめました。ハワイ楽しい！と思えるショーなので、ハワイ初心者にはお勧めしたいツアーです。

I was very moved to be able to participate in Rock Aloha. The first dinner was a great experience where I could enjoy delicious local Hawaiian cuisine. I also enjoyed the live ukulele performance and hula dancing. The show featured a variety of songs, dances, and instrumental performances, and time flew by. Each performance was powerful, and my whole body was thrilled by the professional entertainment. I am grateful to have seen such a wonderful show. The service from the dinner staff was also outstanding. I appreciate being given such a fantastic opportunity. Thank you very much.

最初のディナーは、ハワイローカルの美味しい料理を味わう事が出来て、良い体験でした。
また、ウクレレの生演奏やフラダンスも楽しめました。ショーの方は、多様な歌や踊り、楽器演奏があり、あっという間に時間が過ぎました。どの演目も迫力があり、プロフェッショナルのエンターテイメントに体全体が震えました。こんなに素敵なショーが見れたことに感謝しています。ディナーのサーバーのおもてなしも大変素晴らしかったです。

In the green room, I enjoyed champagne and snacks. The snacks were a delightful variety, including ham, salami, cheese, and olives.
The backstage tour was entirely in English, so I thought it would have been more enjoyable if there had been something like a Japanese brochure.
The buffet on the outdoor terrace was fantastic, with the dancers' performances and the singing of a woman playing the ukulele.
The food was delicious, but I ran out of time and couldn't make it to the complimentary drinks or the buffet desserts.
Overall, I felt very satisfied and enjoyed the atmosphere of Hawaii. It’s worth the money to go! I highly recommend it!

グリーンルームではシャンパンとおつまみを楽しめました。おつまみはハム、サラミ、チーズ、オリーブなど種類豊富で嬉しかったです。
バックステージツアーは説明が全て英語のため、日本語パンフレットのようなものがあればより楽しめるのになと思いました。
屋外テラスでのブッフェはダンサーさん達のダンスと、ウクレレを弾く女性の方の歌が最高でした。
お料理も美味しかったでしたが、時間が足らず特典のドリンクと、ブッフェのデザートまで辿り着きませんでした。
総じて満足感が高く、ハワイの雰囲気を楽しめました。お金を払って行く価値ありです！おすすめです！

Tickets for the show only. The seats were towards the back, but it was still possible to enjoy the performance. After the hula dance, there was an Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson show. There was also a fire dance, and the audience from the West was really into it.

At the far left corner of Building B at the Royal Hawaiian Center, there was an elevator marked for the 4th floor Rock-a-Hula show. When I got off the elevator, there was a reception area (photo 1) where a young lady (photo 2, VIP attendant, backstage guide, dancer) placed a plumeria lei around my neck. On the way back, I was able to take the escalator down from the far end of Building A at the Royal Hawaiian Center (where the newly opened Dior is located) to the 1st floor.

During my last visit, they welcomed us with a dance near the entrance of the Rock-a-Hula show, but this time there was none. The green room remained unchanged. We had champagne and snacks (photo 3), and then it was time for photos. The backstage tour (photo 4) was also the same as before. The only change was in the dining arrangement. Previously, there were square tables at the front of the venue, and all the food was brought to us. The regular seats without meals were on the second floor with steps. This time, the venue (photo 5) had all seating arranged in steps.

After the backstage tour, we took our designated seats (in the second row from the aisle) where a dedicated staff member introduced herself to us. Everyone went outside the venue (photo 6) to get the same buffet meal in the order of arrival, which was the earliest. There were schedules for the show in English and Japanese placed at our seats. There was a QR code in Korean (photo 7), but if you scan it and convert it to Japanese, you can understand the content. Only two drinks were brought to us by the staff. Other plans had Mai Tais already placed at the start. On the day, there were 10 VIPs, including 2 groups of 4 Japanese and 3 groups of 6 Americans. We ordered our drinks first (non-alcoholic, which is better described as virgin), and the virgin Mai Tai arrived (the virgin Mai Tai was topped with a plumeria flower, while the alcoholic version was a darker brown with a pineapple garnish). For my second drink, I ordered a lemon-lime and pineapple juice without ice, but it came with ice. I thought about being patient, but when I mentioned it to the staff, they said "my mistake" and made it without ice. I expected it to be less in quantity without ice, but it was actually filled to the brim. I was surprised. Besides the two drinks, they also brought us water (in a surprisingly small container). By this time, many people were already seated, but we were the first to get our meals. The same dishes were lined up in two rows, and we could take from four directions. In the back, there was a carving station where they served Kalua pork, a whole roasted pig. For dessert, there were small plates with large strawberries, watermelon, melon, and a quarter of a mango (which was sweet and delicious), along with small cakes cut into 1 cm pieces. They served us a lot, and I couldn't finish everything. They frequently performed dances during the meal, and we ended with a hula lesson that was very lively.

After the meal, the woman who had placed the plumeria lei on me guided us to the front row seats. Inside the theater, there were large screens on the front and both sides displaying coordinated images during the show. Elvis (photo 8) shook hands with all the audience members in the front and second rows. Additionally, Elvis walked around the venue distributing long red cloths that he had intentionally sweated on to about ten people. Elvis appeared to be a bit overweight, and Michael (photo 9) did not come down to the audience. Elvis sang more songs than Michael. Along with traditional Hawaiian food, there was hula, singing, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and fire dancing (photo 10), making for a very exciting experience. There is no other show as wonderful as this.

At the final greeting, perhaps because I was late from going to the restroom, Elvis was not there. The only ones present were the female host and singer (a Hawaiian female singer), Michael, and a man dressed in Tahitian attire, along with a fire

ロイヤルハワイアンセンターのB棟の向かって左側の端っこにエレベーターが有り４F ロッックアフラショーと明記されていた。エレベーターから降りると受付（写真１）があり、お姉さん（写真2、VIPの世話役、バックステージの案内役、踊り担当）がプリメリアのレイをかけてくれた。帰りはロイヤルハワイアンセンターのA棟（新しく出来たDior）側の端っこから1Fまでエスカレーターで降りられた。
　前回行ったときはロッックアフラショーのエントランス付近で踊って迎入れてくれたが今回はなし、グリーンルームは変わっていなかった。シャンパンとおつまみ（写真３）、写真撮影で終わり。その後のバックステージツアー（写真４）も変わらず。変わったのは、食事の方法。以前は館内の前方に四角いテーブルがあり、食材はすべて持ってきてくれていた。食事なしの普通席は段差のある2Fだった。今回会場（写真５）の中は、すべて階段席に変わっていた。
　バックステージツアー終了後専用の席に（同じ席で通路から2番目の列）着くと、我々専用の係のお姉さんがついて自己紹介してくれた。食事は全員会場（写真６）の外で全員同じもの（ビッフェ）で取りに行く順番が一番早かった。席に英語と日本語のショーの進行日程、食事内容を書いた物が置いてあった。韓国語のQRコード（写真７）だけれども読み取って日本語に変換すれば内容が分かります。飲み物2杯だけは係の人が持ってきてくれる。他のプランは最初からマイタイが置いてあった。当日のVIP10名日本人2組4名アメリカ人3組6名参加、私たちは最初に注文していたもの（ノンアルコール、バージンと言った方が伝わるらしい）マイタイがきた（バージンマイタイは上にプリメリアの花添え、アルコール入りは上の方が色が濃いこげ茶色でパイナップル添え）、2杯目はノーアイスのレモンライムとパイナップルジュースを注文したが来たのには氷が入っていたので辛抱しようかと思ったが係の人に言ったらマイミステイクと言って氷なしに作り替えてくれた。氷なしだと量が少なめだろうと思っていたら、コップいっぱい入っていた。びっくり。ドリンク2杯以外にたのべば水（やけに小さい入れ物）も持ってきてくれた。この段階で席に着いている人がかなりいたが、食事をとるのは我々が一番、二列に同じ食事が並んでおり、4方向から取ることが出来た。離れた奥にカービングステーションがあり、カルアイポーク？豚丸ごと一匹やいたもの、肉を取り分けてくれた。食後のデザートは小さいお皿イチゴは大きい、すいか、メロン、マンゴウ4分の一（これは甘くて美味しかった）、1㎝各の小さいケーキもあった。取り分けてくれ量が沢山で、おなか一杯になり食べきれなかった。食事中に頻繁に踊ってくれた、最後はフラレッスンで盛り上がった。　食後、最初にプルメリアのレイをかけてくれた案内の女性が最前列の席に誘導してくれた。劇場内は正面と両サイドに大画面のスクリーンがあり、ショウーの間連携した画像が映し出されていた。エルビス（写真８）は最前列、2番目の列までの観客全員と握手してくれた。さらに、エルビスは会場をめぐりながら自分の汗を故意に付けた赤い細長い布を10名ほどに配っていた。エルビスは太り気味で、マイケル（写真９）は会場には降りてこなかった。エルビスがマイケルより歌の数は多かった。ハワイの伝統的な食事に加えてフラあり、歌あり、エルビスプレスリー、マイケルジャクソン、フアイヤーダンス（写真１０）まであり大変盛り上がった、こんな素晴らしいショーは他にありません。最後のグリーテイングは、トイレに行って遅くなったせいか？エルビスはいなかった。いたのは進行役兼歌手の女性（ハワイの女性歌手）、マイケル、タヒチアンの恰好の男性、フアイヤーダンスの男性だけだった。以前行った時ほど盛り上がっていなく、写真をとってくれる人もいなくて、妻と女性歌手、妻とマイケルの写真しか取れなかった。夫婦でマイケルと写真に収まりたかったが残念。前回は写真を撮ってくれる人がいて、エルビス、タヒチアンの恰好の女性もいて夫婦と出演者で写真がとれたのに残念。

It took a bit to get to the top of the building but it was worth it. We got there and they were very helpful. Greeted up with a lei and took us to our table. Gave us our drink order (non alcoholic) and took our picture. The line up of food was quite amazing! All kinds of food to please everyone's liking. They also had dessert. It rained pretty good so they were able to cover the side so we didn't get wet. After dessert we we inside to watch the Rock a hula. And it was awesome. Elvis and Michael Jackson preformed along with the amazing hula dancers. It ended with an amazing fire show! It was well worth it! Go see it

The dance and singing were of high quality and enjoyable. You can also enjoy meals and entertainment before the show. The impersonators of Elvis and Michael were so dedicated to their roles that it didn't feel cheap at all. I recommend going at least once.

The food was just average. Since it's a buffet, you can eat as much as you want. A person came around playing the ukulele at each table, but it seemed like they were looking for tips, so feel free to decline if you don't want to give one. Dining outdoors had its challenges due to the season and weather, and it was a bit cold. We got VIP seats for the show, but I think you can enjoy it from the regular seats as well. The impersonations of Elvis and Michael Jackson seemed to be of high quality.

食事の味はまぁ普通です。ビュッフェなので満足するまで食べられます。
各席を回ってウクレレを弾いてくれる方が回って来ましたがチップ狙いのようなので不要であれば断ってください。
野外での食事で季節、天候の問題もあり多少寒かったです。
ショーはVIP席をとりましたが、通常の席でも楽しめると思います。
エルビスやマイケル・ジャクソンのモノマネですがレベルは高いようです。

It started with the staff draping leis on us, followed by a buffet-style dinner while enjoying Mai Tais! After a practice corner for hula dancing, it was finally time for the dinner show! There were performances typical of Hawaii, as well as impersonators of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson... it was quite a packed experience. It might be similar to the shows you see in Las Vegas. I had a great time on my last night in Honolulu.

フラダンスの練習コーナーもあったりしたあとは、いよいよディナーショー！
ハワイらしいショーもあったり、エルビス・プレスリーやマイケル・ジャクソンのそっくりさんのショーもあったり…と盛り沢山な感じでした。
ラスベガスなんかで見るショーに似てるかも…。

I went on a honeymoon trip to Hawaii this time. I thought it would be fun to see hula dancing and fire dancing, so I decided to participate.

First, I received a welcome flower lei and was guided backstage for a photo shoot, after which I enjoyed a welcome champagne. Later, I received the photos taken at that time. After that, I got to wear the instruments and costumes used during the hula dance and even stood on the stage. The explanations were thorough, and the couple I was with was very friendly, making for a fun time and a valuable experience.

Before the buffet, I had a Mai Tai and pineapple, which were fruity and very delicious. I was allowed to go to the buffet first, and the roast beef was particularly exquisite.

After the meal, there was a show, and I had a great time sitting in the very front row. Elvis came down from the stage and shook hands with us, which really boosted my excitement. The fire show was quite thrilling, and being in the front row added to the intensity.

After the performance, there was a photo opportunity with the stars, and I was able to take pictures and get autographs with everyone. It was my first time in Hawaii, and I had a wonderful time. I definitely want to participate again.

今回ハネムーンでハワイ旅行に行きました。フラダンスやファイヤダンスが見れて楽しそうだなと思い参加させていただきました。
最初に歓迎のお花の首飾りをいただき、バックステージへ案内していただき写真撮影後、ウェルカムシャンパンを頂きました。後にその時撮った写真をいただきました。その後、実際にフラダンスの時に使用する楽器や衣装を実際に身につけたり、ステージの上に立たせてもらいました。丁寧なご説明と、一緒に回ったご夫婦もとても気さくで楽しい時間を過ごすことが出来て、また貴重な体験が出来ました。
ビュッフェの前に、マイタイとパイナップルをいただきそれがフルーティーでとても美味しかったです。ビュッフェは優先的に取りに行かせてもらい、特にローストビーフが絶品でした。
食事の後、ショーでしたがセンターの1番前の席で本当に楽しかったです。
エルビスさんが客席を降りて握手もしてくれて、とてもテンションが上がりました。
ファイヤショーはとてもハラハラして、最前列だったこともありかなりの迫力でした。
開演後はスターとの記念撮影があり、皆様と写真とサインを撮ることができました。
初めてのハワイでしたが、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。是非また参加したいと思います。

I had been curious about the "Waikiki Starlight Luau" for a while, and this time I enjoyed it luxuriously from the Diamond Premium seats.

The venue is located within the Hilton Hawaiian Village, in a building adjacent to the Grand Waikikian. It's very close to the main entrance of the Hawaiian Village, so if you're feeling unsure, just head towards the entrance, and you should see the Starlight Luau sign nearby. I was a bit nervous about finding the venue since it was my first time attending, but there were plenty of signs, so I was able to arrive without getting lost.

The event was set to start at 4:45 PM, so I took my time, but by the time I arrived around 4:35 PM, there was already a long line! The seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so I recommend arriving a bit early if you're in the Golden Seats. With the Diamond Premium seats, you can enter before the Golden Seats and are guaranteed seats close to the stage, so you don't have to rush too much to secure a good spot.

The weather was beautifully sunny, typical of Hawaii! When the venue first opened, I could enjoy the pleasant blue sky, the Hilton buildings, and a view of Waikiki beach. Being able to enjoy the time from daylight to night is one of the unique pleasures of this luau.

Once inside, I received a lei greeting and took a commemorative photo, then headed to my seat with a Mai Tai in hand! All the seating is communal, so I chatted with guests from the mainland who were sitting nearby while enjoying the welcome music and hula dance on stage.

After a while, when all the guests in the Golden Seats had entered, the showmaster made the opening announcement. First, it was time for dinner, served buffet-style with music. Guests from the Diamond Premium seats lined up first to serve themselves. The quality of the food was exceptional. Everything, from the meat to the bread and salad, was delicious, and I found myself going back for seconds of the mini malasadas and roast beef. It's great to be able to get plenty of vegetables through the salad, especially since they can be lacking during a stay in Hawaii.

You can also order alcoholic drinks with drink tickets, but be prepared to show an ID. Many Japanese people often look younger than those from the mainland, so it's a good idea to keep a copy of your passport handy. Additionally, many staff members circulate around the tables, so if you need help, they are quick to assist. It was nice when they approached me with friendly questions like, "Are you having fun?" which made me feel at ease.

After finishing the meal and as dusk approached, the dance show began. In my session, six dancers performed various tropical dances. The beauty of the women's hula dance was breathtaking. The Tahitian dance, which is not something I usually see, was also powerful and very interesting. During the show, there was a scene celebrating an anniversary, and the atmosphere of everyone enjoying the luau was delightful. Many children from the mainland were participating, and it was adorable to see them dancing with their mothers!

The finale of the dance show featured a fire dance by strong male dancers! The atmosphere became intense as preparations began, and men with torches appeared on the dark stage. Having seen several fire dances in my line of work, I can say that the dancers at the Starlight Luau had impressive techniques! Their performances, including fire manipulation and combinations with each other, created a captivating show that kept my eyes glued to the stage. It was a fantastic performance that was fitting for the grand finale. I was applauding enthusiastically alongside the American guest next to me.

Another great point is the easy access from the center of Waikiki compared to other luaus. If you have time, it might be nice to stroll around the Hilton Waikiki Village before the show. There are plenty of shopping, dining, and café options within the Hilton Waikiki Village to enjoy for a while.

以前から気になっていた「ワイキキ・スターライト・ルアウ」。今回は贅沢にダイヤモンドプレミアシートで楽しませていただきました。

会場はヒルトンハワイアンビレッジ内、グランドワイキキアンに併設した建物です。ハワイアンビレッジのメインエントランスからすぐ近くですので、不安な方はひとまずハワイアンビレッジのエントランスに向かえば、近くにスターライトルアウの看板が見えるはずです。初めての参加で、会場探しからドキドキしましたが、看板の数も多いので迷うことなく会場まで到着することができました。

16:45から会場とのことでゆっくりしていましたが、私が到着した16:35頃には既に長い列が…！並んだ順に好きな席に座っていくスタイルなので、特にゴールデンシートでご参加の方は少し早めに到着しておくことがお勧めです。ダイヤモンドプレミアムシートの場合は、ゴールデンシートより先に入場ができる他、ステージ間近の席が確約されているので、急ぎすぎなくても良い席を確保できそうでした。

当日はハワイらしい快晴！開場したばかりの頃は気持ちの良い青空とヒルトンの建物群、ワイキキの海も見渡すことができました。明るい時間帯から夜までの時間を楽しめるのは、このルアウならではの醍醐味ですね。

会場に入ってレイグレイーティングと記念撮影をいただき、その後はマイタイを手に持って自席へ！全ての席が相席ですので、近くに座ったアメリカ本土からのお客さんとも会話をしながら、ステージでのウェルカム演奏やフラダンスを楽しみました。

しばらくたってゴールデンシートのお客様も全員が入場した頃から、いよいよショーマスターより開会のアナウンス。まずは音楽とともにお食事タイム、ビュッフェスタイルです。ダイヤモンドプレミアムシートのゲストから順番に並んで取り分けていきます。お食事のクオリティはさすがの一言。お肉もパンもサラダも全て美味しく、ついついミニマラサダやローストビーフをおかわりしてしまう程でした。ハワイ滞在中に不足しがちなお野菜もサラダでたっぷり摂れるのは嬉しいポイントですね。

食事に合わせドリンクチケットでアルコールも頼むことができますが、IDカードの提示を求められることも。。日本人は米国本土の方より若く見える人も多いので、パスポートのコピー等はすぐ出せる場所に持っていると安心です。
また、たくさんのスタッフがテーブルを回ってくれていますので、困ったことはすぐにサポートしてくれます。「楽しんでる？」という風に、向こうから親しげに話しかけてくれることも、気持ちが和らぎ、ありがたいとこでした。

一通りお食事が終わり、夕暮れも進んだころから、ダンスショーが開幕です。私の回では、男女合計6名のダンサーさんにて、様々な南国のダンスを披露してくださいました。特に女性のフラダンスは息を飲む美しさ。普段馴染の少ないタヒチアンダンスも迫力がありとても興味深かったです。
ショーの途中には、アニバーサリーを祝うシーンもあり、会場全体でルアウの時間を満喫している空気が心地よかったです。米国本土から参加しているゲストの子供たちも多く、お母さんたちと一緒にダンスを頑張っている姿は可愛かった～！

ダンスショーのフィナーレは屈強な男性ダンサー陣によるファイヤーダンス！！
直前からものものしい雰囲気で準備が始まり、暗いステージに松明を持った男性たちが登場します。仕事柄これまでもファイヤーダンスはいくつか見てきましたが、スターライトルアウのダンサーさんたちはテクニックが見事！火を舐めるようなパフォーマンス、ダンサー同士のコンビネーション技など、目を離せないショーが繰り広げられ、見入ってしまいました。
ショーの締めくくりにふさわしい素晴らしい演目です。私も隣の米国人と一緒に拍手喝さいでした。

他のルアウに比べて、ワイキキ中心地からアクセスが良いことも嬉しいポイントですね。
時間のある方は、ショーの前にヒルトンワイキキビレッジ内を散策してみるのも良いかもしれません。ショッピングやレストラン、カフェ巡りなどヒルトンワイキキビレッジだけでもしばらく楽しめる施設があります。

なお、全行程が英語で案内されていきますが、丁寧なスタッフたちが親身にサポートしてくれます。またダンスショー自体は言葉を超えたパフォーマンスですので、英語が苦手な方でも十分楽しめるはず！
（一部ショーマスターの話す冗談など、英語ネイティブでないと難しい内容もありましたが、ほとんど不自由は感じませんでした。）

ハワイの風を感じながら参加できること、ヒルトンさんならではのクオリティ、ホスピタリティにも溢れたショーケースでした。

I participated on the last day with a reservation, and it was more enjoyable than I expected. Regarding the food, it was impressive, which can be said for all of Hawaii. My wife and daughter were also pleased. The show had a slightly smaller audience due to the day of the week, but the Western guests really got into it, making it a lot of fun. I would like to participate again next time I visit Hawaii.

First, we enjoyed a welcome drink in a separate room, and the show director guided us backstage, sharing insights about the costumes of the show members and the creative aspects behind the scenes. The dancers' costumes were heavy, and Elvis's outfits were quite flashy.

During dinner, we were able to go for our meal with priority, and we could watch the show happening right next to us. The first half of the show featured the history of Hawaiian music. We listened to nostalgic songs that showcased the changing rhythms of Hawaiian music over time. There was an introduction to famous Hawaiian singers, and I learned about the number one singer in Hawaii, IZ, also known as Israel Kamakawiwoʻole.

The second half was the much-anticipated Elvis and Michael showtime. Elvis performed his signature hip-shaking dance in his flashy costume, while Michael dazzled us with his ghost dance and moonwalk. It was an incredibly enjoyable experience, and the American female audience was thrilled during the showtime. One unforgettable highlight was the main female singer who performed beautifully throughout the show.

最初にウエルカムドリンクを別室で頂いて、ショーデイレクターに楽屋裏を案内してもらいショーメンバーの衣装や楽屋裏の工夫なんかを教えてもらいました。ダンサーの衣装の重いこと、エルビスの衣装の派手なこと。
夕食では優先的の食事をとりに行けて、食事中の行われるショウもすぐそばで見れました。
ショウは前半がハワイアンミュージックの歴史。ハワイアンミュージックを時代順にリズムが変わっていくのを懐かしい曲に乗せて聴くことが出来ました。ハワイアンの有名な歌手の紹介があって
ハワイで１番の歌手IZことイズラエル・カマヴィオヴォオレを知ることが出来た。後半はお待ちかねエルビス＆マイケルのショウタイム。エルビスのお決まりの派手な衣装での腰振りダンス。マイケルのお化けダンスにムーンウォークととても楽しめる内容、米国の女性客は大盛り上がりのショウタイム、楽しいいひとときでした。その中でもメインで通しで歌う女性歌手が歌が素敵だったことが忘れられない。

On the last day of our stay, we booked a VIP backstage tour without explaining the details to my wife (just that there would be a buffet and hula dancing) and checked in on time. We were welcomed with leis and spent a little time with our guide, Alexis, who provided clear and friendly explanations in English before being taken to the Green (VIP) room. We enjoyed a welcome drink of sparkling wine and took a commemorative photo. There were snacks like cheese, but we only had a little since we were saving room for the buffet later.

After that, we went on the backstage tour. We even got to go on stage before the audience arrived, experiencing things from the performers' perspective. When we returned to our seats, the luau buffet began. There were some groups seated, but it seemed like the audience was only about half full (only the tables in front of the two entrances were occupied). We also received a ticket for an additional drink, so I had a second Blue Hawaii, which was delicious—highly recommended!

Hawaiian songs and hula performances took place next to our table, and at the end, there was a customary invitation for guests to join in the dance. I recommend giving it a try! The luau featured roast beef and whole roasted pig, which were very tasty. My wife said she wished she could have eaten more of the roasted pig. Our guide's words, "Eat until you're full and be happy," were definitely put into practice.

Afterward, we moved to the theater for showtime. The VIP seats were in the front row center, allowing us to feel the energy of the show up close. We enjoyed performances from a slightly grown Elvis and a smaller Michael, along with hula and fire dancing, without getting bored. The fire dance was particularly impressive, and we could feel the heat from the flames—so thrilling! My wife was extremely excited about the fire dance.

We were told that as long as we didn't use flash, we could take photos and videos on stage, which was a nice surprise. After the show, we were sent off by Elvis and Michael, and we had a truly enjoyable time, feeling fulfilled both in our stomachs and hearts. Mahalo!

When we came out after the show, it was past 9 PM. Considering the four hours we spent, I think this tour offers great value for the price (especially when you think about the cost of a steak dinner!).

ドリンクも追加１杯のチケットついてたので、２杯目はブルーハワイをいただきましたが、これ美味しい～♪お勧めですよ♪
テーブル脇でハワイアンソングとフラが行われ、最後は恒例（？）お客様を招いて一緒にダンス。挑戦するのもお勧めしま～す♪
ルアウにはローストビーフや豚の丸焼きなどあり、大変おいしかったです。
家内は豚の丸焼きもっと食べたかったと言うくらい。ガイドさんの「お腹いっぱいになってHappyになってね。」を実践しました。
その後劇場に移動してショータイム。
VIP席は最前列中央で熱気満々のショーを肌で感じられます。
ちょっと成長気味のエルビスとちょっと小振りのマイケルのステージとフラ、ファイヤーダンスなど飽きること無く見れます。
特にファイヤーダンスは火の暑さも感じられ、迫力満点！
家内はファイヤーダンスが凄い！と興奮しまくりでした。
ステージは写真もビデオもフラッシュたかなければ、「内緒だけどOK。止めに来れないでしょ？」って説明受けました。
ステージ後はエルビス、マイケルにお見送りされ大変楽しい時間を過ごせ、お腹も心も満たされました。マハロ～♪
ステージ終わって出てきたら２１時過ぎ、４時間を過ごしての値段であればコスパ良い（ステーキディナーの値段を考えればお値打ちですよ～！）といえるツアーだと思います。

We took a trip to Hawaii to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. It was both of our first time visiting Hawaii. My wife has been learning hula dancing in Japan, so she was looking forward to the hula dance show. Among the many shows available, we chose the Rock-a-Hula show because it seemed the most exciting and lively.

After checking in, we began a tour of the backstage area. Along with a couple from Saitama who were of similar age, we enjoyed some snacks with our welcome drinks while chatting. The dancer who guided us (I recognized her later when she performed in the show) explained various aspects of the show’s behind-the-scenes. As we looked at the costumes and dressing rooms used in the show, we felt excited for the performance that was about to begin.

Before the show started, we had dinner with an abundance of food that left us completely full. During the intermission, my wife eagerly participated in a hula dance lesson, showcasing the results of her practice.

Finally, the show began. Our seats were right in the center of the front row. After the opening hula dance, a slightly heavier Elvis and Michael showcased some impressive dance moves. The show featured a wonderful female singer with an amazing voice, stunning dancers, and powerful fire dancing by the male dancers, leading up to a grand finale. The show lasted a good amount of time, and we enjoyed every moment. On our way out, we took photos with all the performers, creating wonderful memories for our anniversary.

　結婚37周年の記念日に合わせたハワイ旅行でした。夫婦ともに初めてのハワイ旅行です。妻は日本でフラダンスを習っているので、フラダンスショーは楽しみにしていました。数あるショーの中で、一番盛り上がって楽しそうなショーだったので、ロック・ア・フラショーを選択しました。
　受付を済ませると、バックヤード見学の案内が始まりました。埼玉からお見えになった同年代のご夫婦と一緒に、ウエルカムドリンクでおつまみを食べながら、談笑していると、案内人のダンサー（後からショーで踊っていらしたのをみて、それとわかりました）の方が、いろいろとこのショーの舞台裏を説明してくださいました。ショーで使われる衣装や楽屋を見ながら、これから始まるショーにわくわくしました。
　ショーが始まる前のディナーでは、食べきれないほどの料理でおなかいっぱいになり、合間のフラダンスレッスンには、妻が率先して参加し、日頃の練習の成果を見せつけていました。
　いよいよショーが始まりました。席は最前列のど真ん中です。オープニングのフラダンスのあと、ちょっと太めのエルビスとマイケルが、なかなか切れのあるダンスを見せてくれました。素晴らしい歌声の女性シンガーとスタイル抜群のダンサーたちのショー、男性ダンサーの迫力あるファイアーダンスと続き、フィナーレを迎えました。ショーの時間もたっぷりあり、最後まで楽しませていただきました。帰りには出演者の皆さんと写真を撮らせてもらい、結婚記念日の良い思い出になりました。

I purchased the Rock-A-Hula Luau Dinner with Green Room VIP Package as part of an early Valentines trip to the Island of Oahu. We are a couple who have been to each of the main Hawaiian Islands and look for unique experiences each place we travel. We have participated in other Luau's in Hawaii and similar other events in other places we have traveled. Upon arrival we were greeted with flower lei's. Then had Champagne and appetizers in the Green Room which had furnishings from Elvis's home. Cameron the manager who gave us the tour was very informative and could tell he had a passion for the production and the crew. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming and during dinner came around and performed various songs, dances, and even did a "Hula Lesson" for anyone who wanted to participate. The food and drinks were very good as well. Following Dinner we went back to the main theatre for the show which was a good blend of history and entertainment. We appreciated the screens showing the history and how it coordinated with the entertainment on stage. Overall the Green room/Backstage tour experience was very good and we are glad to have opted for this option but also would recommend just the dinner and show experience.

I participated in a VIP experience to see hula dancing and fire dancing during my honeymoon trip to Hawaii!

First, I was guided from the show's back room to the VIP room, where champagne and snacks were served, really elevating the mood! The staff explained everything while escorting us from the back room to the stage, and I got to wear a costume on my head, which was a precious experience.

During the meal, we were welcomed with songs played on the ukulele and enjoyed hula dancing. The VIP treatment was great, allowing us to go to the buffet first and included drinks, and the food was seasoned in a way that was easy for Japanese people to enjoy! The fried fish was incredibly delicious! The Mai Tai was the easiest drink to enjoy.

The main show was overwhelming in scale compared to overseas performances, and it was incredibly fun! There were Hawaiian songs, songs from Moana, and of course, hula dancing, along with impressive performances featuring humor from Elvis and Michael. The fire dancing was breathtaking! As VIPs, we got to sit in the front row, so we could feel the heat and enjoy the proximity to the performers, which added to the excitement!

At the very beginning, we were given a commemorative photo in the VIP room, making it the best memory of our honeymoon trip!!!

メインショーでは、海外の規模に圧倒されっぱなしで、最高に楽しいです！ハワイの歌、モアナの歌、フラダンスはもちろん、エルビスやマイケルの笑いありの演出が印象的です。ファイヤーダンスに関しては圧巻です！VIPは最前列で見られるので、温度感や、パフォーマーとの距離が近いのでより迫力を楽しめます！
一番はじめにVIPルームでの記念写真をプレゼントされるので、ハネムーン旅行最高の思い出になりました！！！

I wanted to see a wonderful hula dance while in Hawaii, so I signed up for this tour. I did some research and found various outdoor venues, but I chose this all-weather facility.

As a result, it was a good decision as the air conditioning was effective. I participated in a plan that included front-row seating and a backstage tour, where the manager personally explained the costumes and equipment.

On the day of the event, there were only three groups participating in this plan, allowing us to enjoy a luxurious experience.

The buffet was delicious, plentiful, and I was very satisfied. When I went to get food, I was prioritized among many participants, which made it feel special.

After the meal, I got to see the hula dance from the front row, which was the best time. There were also shows featuring impersonators of famous people and fire dances, all of which were fantastic. Being able to enjoy a beer while watching was a luxurious experience.

ハワイでせっかくなら素晴らしいフラダンスを見たいと思いこちらのツアーに申し込みました。
いろいろ調べて屋外会場のところもありますが、こちらの全天候型の施設を選びました。

結果、空調も効いていて正解でした。
最前列かつバックヤードツアーもあるプランで参加して、マネージャーから直々に衣装や設備など説明を受けました。

当日はこのプランの参加は3組で贅沢な時間を、過ごすことができました。

ブッフェも美味しく、ボリュームもあり大満足でした。
取りにいくときもたくさんの参加者の中で最優先で案内されて特別感がありました。

食事後はお目当てのフラダンスを最前列で見れて最高の時間でした。
有名な方のそっくりさんのショーやファイヤーダンスも見れどれも素晴らしかったです。
ビールを飲みながら鑑賞できるのも贅沢な時間でした。

フラダンスであればロック・ア・フラ、その中でもこのプランで予約されることをお勧めします。

The Royal Hawaiian Center on the 4th floor of Waikiki's bustling area has excellent access! I debated whether to get a ticket with a buffet dinner, but I didn't want to be restricted by time, so I opted for just the viewing ticket and enjoyed a leisurely dinner at a restaurant within the center.

The seating is arranged in a circular shape with 180-degree views, divided into three blocks, with the center being reserved seating and the sides being general seating. Since it was a weekday night, there were only about a third of the seats filled on the day I attended.

The show included hula dancing, a live performance by two superstars, fire performances, and Disney songs, making for a fun night that really lifted my spirits!

ワイキキ繁華街のロイヤルハワイアンセンター4階の常設施設内なので、アクセス抜群です！
ブュッフェディナー付きのチケットか悩みましたが、時間の縛りが嫌だったので観覧のみのチケットにして夜ご飯はセンター内のレストランでゆっくり過ごしました。
席は180度円形型の座席で、3ブロック分かれている内の中央が指定席、左右が自由席のようです。
平日の夜だったこともあってか、観覧した日は三分の一くらいのお客さんでした。
フラダンンス＋スーパースター2名のライブ＋ファイヤーパフォーマンス＋ディズニーソングと盛りだくさんの内容で、テンションが上がる楽しい夜が過ごせました！

I was first guided backstage, where I was able to take photos in a VIP room! While waiting in the lounge, they served delicious light snacks like prosciutto and drinks, which were very tasty. The dinner buffet was also delicious, and it included two drinks, making me feel like I got a great deal. There were even desserts, so I was able to enjoy a variety of Hawaiian dishes all at once, which was fantastic. During the show, there were appearances by performers dressed as Michael Jackson and Elvis, which was a lot of fun. I definitely want to participate again!

最初バックステージへ案内され、VIPルームのようなところで写真をとれました！また、待合室で待っている間は生ハムなどの軽食とドリンクが配られ、とても美味しかったです。
夜ご飯のビュッフェもどれも美味しくて、飲み物も2杯も含まれていた、とても得した気持ちでした。デザートまであったので、ハワイの料理を一気に食べられて最高でした。
ショーでは、マイケルジャクソンと、エルビスの姿の方が現れて、とても楽しいものでした。
またぜひ参加したいと思います！

When I went to Hawaii, I definitely wanted to see a hula show, and I found this tour while searching for one.

I booked the Green Room experience, where we were introduced to the backyard before the show, enjoyed champagne and light snacks in the Green Room, and even got to stand on the stage. The commemorative photos taken in the Green Room were developed after the meal, making for a great souvenir.

After the backyard tour, we had a buffet, and we were prioritized for seating among many guests, receiving a super VIP treatment. By the way, drinks included champagne in the Green Room and a Mai Tai for toasting at the buffet, with another drink of our choice during the meal. There was a wide variety from Hawaiian tropical cocktails to wine.

During the meal, a ukulele singer came around to play requested songs, and at one point, a hula dancer performed right in front of us. Honeymooners and birthday celebrants were called up for hula lessons, making for a fulfilling experience.

The main Rock-a-Hula show featured not only hula dancing but also a fire show and rock star performances. It lasted about an hour and was a fun and exciting show until the very end. Since it was the Green Room tour, we were given front-row seats, and the rock stars were very accommodating to their fans.

After the show, we had the chance to take commemorative photos with the performers, and I got signatures on the photos taken in the Green Room and on Elvis's scarf, which made me very satisfied.

On the last night of my trip to Hawaii, I created wonderful memories. The Green Room tour is usually expensive, but I was able to participate at a discounted price, which was fantastic. Thank you very much.

ハワイに行ったら絶対にフラショーを観たいと思い、探していて見つけたのがこちらのツアーでした。

今回予約したのはグリーンルームで、ショーの前にバックヤードを紹介してもらったり、グリーンルームでシャンパンと軽食をいただいた後、実際に舞台の上にまで立たせていただきました。グリーンルームで撮影した記念写真は食事後に現像し、いただくことができ、良いお土産になりました。

バックヤードツアーの後はビュッフェでしたが、ビュッフェも多くのゲストがいる中で最優先で案内いただき、超VIP待遇でした。ちなみにドリンクはツアー料金内でグリーンルームでのシャンパンと、ビュッフェの乾杯用マイタイ、食事中にもう一杯メニューの中から選ぶことができました。ハワイアン〜なトロピカルカクテルからワインまで豊富でした。

食事中はテーブルを回ってきてくれるウクレレシンガーがリクエスト曲を弾いてくれたり、途中でフラダンサーが目の前まで踊ってくれたり、ハネムーンや誕生日の方達が前に呼ばれてフラレッスンなと充実した内容でした。

メインのロック・ア・フラショーではフラダンサーによるフラはもちろん、ファイヤーショーにロックスターショーなど1時間程度でしたが最後まで楽しく盛り上がるようなショーでした。グリーンルームツアーだったため、座席も最前列をご用意いただき、ロックスター達のファンサも神対応でした。

ショー後は出演者達と記念撮影をしていただいたり、グリーンルームで撮影した写真やエルビスのスカーフにサインをしていただいたり、大満足でした。

ハワイ旅行最後の夜、素敵な思い出ができました。通常価格であればお高いグリーンルームツアーでしたが、モニター価格でお得に参加でき、とても良かったです。ありかとうございました。

There isn't enough gratitude that I can express for the staff at the Rock-A Hula show! I came with a date, but my flight arrived in late, so my date was there, but I missed everything up to the dinner and show.

They were so accommodating ensuring my date received all the perks that were promised, and kept her company until I arrived. Then, when I got there, they even accepted my bags, and brought me food to ensure I ate enough before the show! Just great customer service.

Now the show... Just awesome. As a musician, everything was on point. The band, vocals, especially the Elvis act! Highly recommend and glad it was the first thing we did to get me back in good spirits after missing some of the action due to my flight.

Thanks staff! What a great experience!

This time, my family and I participated in the dinner show "Rock-a-Hula" for the first time. After having dinner, we watched the show. First, regarding the dinner, there were a decent number of dishes, so I think you'll feel full. However, the meat was a bit tough and didn't taste very good. As for the show, the seats we had were excellent, so we had a great view. There was hula dancing, and impersonators of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, which made it quite lively and enjoyable. It seems that there are options to just attend the show, so I think it would be nice to have a meal in Waikiki and then enjoy the performance.

今回、初めてディナーショーの「ロック・ア・フラ」に家族で参加しました。
ディナーを頂いてから、ショーの観戦という流れでした。まず、ディナーですが品数もそこそこありお腹いっぱいにはなると思います。ただし、お肉は固めであまり美味しいと感じませんでした。ショーの方は、観戦した席が大変良かったので、よく見えました。フラダンスあり、エルビスプレスリー・マイケルジャクソンのそっくりさんのショーがあったり結構盛り上がり、楽しめました。ショーだけもあるようなので、ワイキキあたりで好きな食事をし、観賞するのもありだと思います。

It's a show that delights tourists. You can enjoy it with dinner included. The shows featuring Presley and Michael Jackson were a hit even with Americans, and the audience was singing along.

The hula show lesson was lively, with participants enjoying themselves. The buffet had an overwhelming volume, and the roast beef was delicious.

The entertainment show that followed was very realistic, and even if you're not a fan of Elvis or Michael, you'll have a great time.
