We attended as a couple. It took a long time to be guided to our seats and to the buffet before the show started. However, once the second part of the show began, all of that was forgotten. It was my first time seeing a fire dance up close like that. I was amazed by the intensity and wondered how they could do it—were their feet and mouths okay? It was incredibly powerful. I definitely want to participate again next time!

First, you can enjoy a truly VIP experience sitting on luxurious sofas in the green room while being served champagne and pinchos. After that, you can take a commemorative photo with Gaga. Then, an older brother who resembles Ebizo will guide you backstage, where you can see stage costumes and props, including Michael Jackson's glove, and even touch some hula accessories (like pom-poms).

You get to go on stage and take commemorative photos, spending a really enjoyable time. The seats are right in the center of the front row, allowing you to see Elvis, Gaga, Michael, and in between, the hula and fire dance performances, making the time fly by.

This New Year's, I went to Hawaii for the first time! I attended the Rock-a-Hula show by Legends in Concert Waikiki for the second time. The last time I watched from the back of the second floor, I saw people in the front row enjoying their meals while watching the show and thought, "This is how it should be in Waikiki!" I decided that next time, I would sit there for a revenge experience! So, I splurged on a VIP tour that included a behind-the-scenes look.

There were four groups participating in this tour. First, we waited in the VIP room, which had free drinks and a variety of delicious snacks that left us very satisfied! After a while, Lady Gaga came to take individual photos with us. Then, a manager who could speak a little Japanese slowly walked us through the backstage for about ten minutes, showing us props and set pieces while explaining everything. Standing on stage and looking out at the audience, I felt like I was Elvis or Michael—it was the best!

We sat in the front row for a full-course dinner, which was quite tasty! Finally, the show began, and being in the front row was completely different from watching from the second floor! We were so close that we could even see the sweat. Our eyes met several times, and it was just amazing! My wife was also really into it and at her maximum excitement level! I'm so glad I decided to splurge! She was extremely happy.

Since we came to enjoy Hawaii, I especially recommend this to couples from the Elvis and Michael generation. How about a surprise gift for your wife?

ロック・ア・フラショーbyレジェンド・イン・コンサート・ワイキキは、今回2回目。
前回2階席後方から観た際、最前列席で優雅に食事し観ている人達をみてワイキキはこうでなくては！ 次回はリベンジ？！あそこに座って観よう！と決め、今回VIP待遇の舞台裏まで見るツアーに思い切って奮発し参加しました。
このツアーに参加したのは4組のグループでした。まずはVIPルームで待機。フリードリンクや美味しいツマミが数多くあり大満足！
暫くするとレディガガが来てくれて個々の写真撮影。それから片言の日本語が話せるマネージャーが10分程度舞台裏をゆっくり歩きながら小道具・大道具などを見せてもらい説明を聞きました。舞台に立ち客席を見て自分がプレスリー、マイケルになった気分で最高！
最前列の客席に座ってフルコースディナー。まずまず美味しかったかな！
いよいよショーの始まり、やはり最前列は2階席から観るのとは大違い！汗までも見えるほど近い。何度も目が合い、もう最高！ 妻ものりのりでテンションMAX！思い切って奮発して良かった‼️大変喜んでもらいました。
せっかくハワイにエンジョイしに来たのだから、特にエルビス、マイケル世代のご夫婦にはお薦めです。

I participated in "Rock-a-Flash Show" by Legends in Concert Waikiki (inside the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center) / ☆Members Only Monitor Tour☆ / Green Room Dinner & Show. I am very satisfied with the high-quality show. Here are the details.

First, while enjoying champagne in the VIP room, Elvis came in and took a commemorative photo with us. After that, we had a backstage tour led by a guide who resembled Ebizo, and he explained everything in English, making it easy for us Japanese to understand without feeling nervous. After detailed explanations of the dressing room, lighting, and backstage, we were guided to a table in front of the stage for dinner. The meat was tender, and the shrimp was delicious, leaving us very satisfied.

Although it was a dinner show, Elvis was the first to appear. We could understand the feeling of when he first visited Hawaii through his costume, and even for those of us who are not from that generation, we could appreciate his high level of skill. After that, Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance. Her dance was impressive, but her piano performance and humorous act were very easy for the older audience to understand, creating a sense of unity in the venue. When Michael appeared at the end, the venue erupted with his overwhelming dance skills and singing voice. We were captivated for several minutes by his perfectly recreated dance performance. Being able to see his performance in Hawaii was a precious memory during our seven-day stay, truly living up to the name "King of Pop."

After the show, there was a photo opportunity with all the performers, and we had time for autographs and conversations, which is another reason I recommend this experience. 　完成度の高いショーに大満足しております。以下が詳細になります。最初にVIPルームでシャンパンを頂いていたら、エルビスさんがVIPルームに来て記念撮影してくれました。その後海老蔵似の案内人によりバックステージの見学しましたが、英語で丁寧に説明してくれたため、日本人の我々にも分かり易く、とても慣れた感じで緊張することなく理解すること出来ました。控え室、ライティング、ステージ裏を細かく説明頂いた後、ステージ前のテーブルに案内されて食事を頂きました。お肉も柔らかく、海老も美味しく大満足でした。
ディナーショーですが、最初に登場したのがエルビスでした。ハワイを初めて訪れた当時の感じが衣装からも理解ができ、世代では無い私達にも彼の技術の高さは理解出来ました。その後は、レディガガがサプライズな演出での登場。ダンスも印象的でしたがピアノ演奏と非常にユーモアのあるパフォーマンスには年配に方々にも非常に分かり易く、会場が一体となっておりました。最後にマイケルが登場した際には、圧倒的なダンス力と歌声で会場は大盛り上がり。完全に再現されたダンスパフォーマンスに数分間見入ってしまいました。まさにKING　OF　POPという名に恥じない彼のパフォーマンスをハワイで観れた事は７日間の滞在の中でも貴重な思い出となりました。ショー終了後にはパフォーマー全員との写真撮影があり、サインは勿論、会話もする時間を設けて頂けるため、間近で彼らに接する事が出来るのもお勧めする理由です。又、主役の方々の一流のパフォーマンスは勿論でしたが、周りでフラを踊っている現地パフォーマーの華やかさや、ファイヤーダンスの技術はハワイならではで大変貴重な経験となりました。
　リアルタイムでエルビスやマイケルを知らない方でも必ず満喫することが出来る完成度の高いショーだと感じました。この度は、ハワイでの楽しい時間をありがとうございました。またハワイ旅行の際には行って見たいと思います。

I go to Hawaii every year, but this was my first time signing up for this dinner show. After checking in at 6 PM, I was guided to the green room, feeling like a VIP.

There, I saw a Lady Gaga impersonator who looked stunning in a bubble-themed costume. After taking a photo with her, three waiters offered us welcome drinks, appetizers, and a fruit platter, and we toasted on a luxurious sofa!

Next, we were shown the star's dressing room and backstage. The guide spoke in English but mixed in some broken Japanese while explaining the stage setup, and we even got to take photos on stage.

As for the meal, we were seated at the front VIP table, and the portions were just right and delicious, featuring lobster, steak, salmon, truffle mashed potatoes, and fondant chocolate.

After the meal, an Elvis impersonator made his entrance. During the first song, he came down to the audience and presented leis to women, greeting them with kisses. The ladies were squealing with excitement.

Next, Lady Gaga appeared, captivating the audience with her dance and sultry outfit.

The highlight was definitely Michael Jackson. There were many women shouting "Michael! Michael!"

　すると、そこにはレディーガガのそっくりさんが(*^^)v。。。。シャボン玉の衣装をまとってとても綺麗でした。ガガと写真撮影をした後、３人のウェイターさんからウェルカムドリンク、オードブル、フルーツ盛り合わせを進められ、豪華なソファーで乾杯！
　次にスターの控室やバックステージの案内です。英語ですが片言の日本語を交えて舞台装置の説明があり、実際に舞台の上で写真を撮ってもらいました。
　食事ですが、一番前のVIPテーブルに案内され、ロブスター、ステーキ、サーモン、トリフ入りマッシュポテト、フォンダンショコラなどボリュームも丁度で美味しかったです。
　食事が終わると、まずはプレスリーのソックリさんが登場。最初の歌で観客席に降りてきて女性に「レイ」をプレゼントして、挨拶のキスをしていました。女性陣のキャーという声が響いていました。
　次は、ガガが登場。ダンスと色っぽい衣装で観客を魅了していました。
　やっぱり盛り上がるのは、マイケルジャクソンでした。「マイケル×２」と叫んでいる、おばさんがたくさんいました。
　最後に、全員揃ってWe are the worldの合唱でのフィナーレは、感動的でした。
　ショーが終わると出口でスターとの記念写真撮影ができました。こちらもMJが一番人気長で蛇の列に並んで撮りました。近くで見てもやっぱりそっくりでした(^○^)
　そっくりさんは顔だけでなく歌もそっくりで生歌でとても歌が上手でした。初めての体験でしたが、絶対おすすめのツアーだと思います。

The fire show was shorter than I expected. If you only want to see the hula, you can watch it for free somewhere else and have a meal at another place. A high-quality all-you-can-eat dinner while watching a show outdoors is luxurious and has a nice atmosphere, which might be great for couples. Small children might get bored, be scared, or end up staying up too late.

As expected and stated...can't ask for more from a tour operator. Show itself was not as good as Polynesian Village main stage show but buffet was 1000 times better and the Hilton show (as a buffet show) was far superior. You'll need to see the Poly Village to see the various cultural elements but save the luau for this one.

I've been to Hawaii many times, but this was my first time seeing this show. I chose the buffet, and the taste was quite good! It's one of the better buffets I've had! During the meal, there were live performances with ukulele music and two hula dancers that really livened up the atmosphere. I was surprised by how wonderful the venue was when I entered! Elvis and Gaga were amazing, but Michael was the best of all! As I watched, he started to look real. Haha!

My first trip to Hawaii! I came here for my honeymoon as well! After the ceremony, I thought it would be a great memory, so my whole family enjoyed the Hilton Luau Show Dinner together. The energy and excitement were incredible, and we all started off with a lot of fun. There were traditional dishes, and the food was delicious, catering to Japanese tastes! The intense dancers were really impressive!

It exceeded our expectations! We initially planned to visit the Polynesian Cultural Center because we wanted to see a luau show that wasn't touristy. However, with a short stay of 4 nights and 6 days, the PCC was a bit too far. One of my friends suggested that since the luau show at the Hilton is at a hotel, we could expect good food as well, so we decided to participate in the Star Light Luau Show, prioritizing time efficiency. I think it was wonderful. The buffet-style meal was, of course, great, and the staff's welcoming attitude, service, and the show itself were all very satisfying and of high quality. The beauty of the sunset time was also lovely.

期待以上でした！
観光化されていないルアウショーを見たかった私たちは、はポリネシアンカルチャーセンターを当初予定していました。
しかし、4泊6日という短い滞在日程で、PCCは少し遠すぎます。
そこで、友達の一人が、ヒルトンのルアウショーなら、ホテルってこともあり、食事も期待できる？と提案し、時間短縮重視でスターライトルアウショーに参加することにしました。
いやぁ～、素晴らしかったと思います。ブッフェスタイルの食事はもちろんのこと、出迎えのスタッフの対応や、サービス、そして肝心のショーもとても満足のいくもので、質が高かったともいます。サンセットタイムの美しさもまた素敵でした。

Second time seeing this show. We went for the cocktails and show. Michael Jackson impersonator was my favourite. Not to discredit Elvis and Lady Gaga as they were all very good. Impersonators came out into the lobby after the show to pose for pictures which I thought was a nice touch. Made for a really nice nite out.

I went with low expectations, thinking that hula dancing was about all there was to Hawaii. I was mistaken... The authentic hula was something else entirely. The women's performances were, of course, great. Even more impressive was the men's hula, which was full of energy!! The fire performances were particularly breathtaking. I can't express it well in words!! If you have the chance, you definitely should go.

The seating was standard, but there were no issues seeing the show. The food was a buffet, so it was just okay. However, I highly recommend this show!!

The history of Hawaii was tastefully and elegantly done. The fire dancer was totally awesome. The chance to meet the cast after the performance was great, it allowed me to connect with them on a personal basis.

For those of use who prepaid for the deluxe accommodations the check in process was not good. There was no express check in. I had to stand in line with everyone else who had not prepaid and who was not purchasing the deluxe package! So the check in process totally circumvented what I paid for. Yes, I got to sit closer to the stage and got a different lei but that was it. So I don't know that the deluxe price was worth it.

In London, I love musicals, and in Paris, I enjoy cabaret shows. This time, I went without any prior knowledge, but it was incredibly fun. When we went, the lineup included Elvis, Michael, Madonna, and Britney. When Elvis first appeared, it was so similar that I burst out laughing. As for whether to sign up for the green room tour... I'm not sure. The seats were definitely in the front row, and it was fun to see the stage setup in advance. However, the quality of the welcome drink was a bit lacking, haha.

I forgot my "age" (laughs). The friend I went with is from the Presley generation (in their 60s), while I'm from the Michael generation (in my 50s). I was the first to welcome Presley and take a commemorative photo, and my friend was already teary-eyed. I'm really glad I went. It has become a treasure in my heart. After returning home, I've been bragging to my other friends. I think it's a must-see when you go to Hawaii. A few days ago, due to the impact of the hurricane, I was unsure if the luau would take place, but it was eventually confirmed. I went in a good mood, but it started to rain... I ended up eating dinner under a towel provided by the hotel. This kind of experience is something you can't have in Japan, and the food was quite delicious, so it was fun in its own way. However, the seating was not what you would expect from something called "premier." While we were close to the stage, we ended up in a spot with steps that obstructed the view, which was disappointing since I was really looking forward to the hula. I thought sitting further back in the center would have been better.

My biggest complaint, though, is about the photos! I mentioned that I had my eyes closed, but they assured me it was fine. I felt suspicious but went along with it, only to find that the final product was indeed a photo with my eyes closed. It was a keepsake, and since we were in it, I ended up buying it, but it was terrible! This was the only chance I had to see this luau, so I reluctantly purchased it, but it felt like a rip-off. 数日前のハリケーンの影響なのか、知人情報によると催行されるのかどうなのかと朝から検討中だったルアウ。結局なんとか催行される事になった。ごきげんで行ったが途中から雨が・・・。雨の中でホテルが提供してくれたバスタオルをかぶりディナーを食べていた。こんな経験は日本ではできないので、料理もなかなか美味しいしこれはこれで楽しかった。ただ、席についてはプレミアと名乗るようなものではなく、舞台の近くではあるのだが、私たちは運が悪いのかステップのあるところで邪魔になってしまい、フラをとても楽しみにしていたのに残念だった。これなら正面の後ろのほうがまだましなのではと思った。あと最大の不満は写真！目をつぶってしまったと言ったのに確認してくれて大丈夫と言われ、不審に思って引き下がったが、できあがったのはやはり目をつぶったものだった。記念だし、自分たちが写っているから買っちゃったけど、とにかくあれはひどい！今回はこのルアウしか見るチャンスが無かったから仕方なく買ったけどあれはぼったくりとしか言いようが無い。たぶんこれにはもう行かない！

It was a trip with my daughter, and this was my first trip to Hawaii.

Since I don't know if I'll have another opportunity, I wanted to make sure I had no regrets, so I researched several "Hawaiian dance shows" and decided on this one.

- Food…★★★ It was a buffet style, but we could only go once to get food before the show started, and getting a second helping was nearly impossible (the plates were cleared away quickly). However, the plates were larger compared to Japan, so it wasn't a problem in the end. There was a separate kids' buffet available. The taste was decent.
- Drinks…★★ The ticket included two drink vouchers; one was for a welcome drink (you could choose between juice or one of two cocktails), and the other was for after the meal (you could choose from several cocktails, wine, beer, or soft drinks). ・ショーの内容…★★★★　最後のファイヤーダンスが大迫力。ほかはハワイ以外にも様々な伝統舞踊が披露されました。それぞれ衣装も少しずつ異なり、なかなか興味深かったです。

豚丸焼きが出るような本格的なルアウではありませんが、伝統舞踊をお手軽に見たい方にはよいかと思います。ちなみに、日本人は意外に（？）全体の3割くらいで、欧米人が多かったです。

We visited Hawaii for our honeymoon, and I booked this show again for my husband, who was visiting Hawaii for the first time. We were able to watch the show in an open outdoor setting in Waikiki, and it seemed like my husband enjoyed it. The show is wonderful, but just like last time, the buffet (food) isn't particularly delicious, so it's best not to have high expectations (though the meat was good). We might not go for a third time, but I think it's worth seeing once. Also, please note that buses do not stop at the bus stop in front of the Hilton right now!
