We attended with seven family members in the Diamond Seat. The price is high, but the major benefits are being able to watch the show from the front row and having priority access to the buffet. The buffet had a long line, possibly due to the Golden Week crowds, and it was disappointing to be cut in line by those who didn't have priority. The drink bar also had a Japanese menu available. Additionally, they take a photo of you at the beginning, and later a staff member comes around selling the framed photo for $50, which is amusing. After the show, the performers allow you to take pictures in the hallway, so that was satisfying.

I opted for the premium plan, but I don't think there was much difference in viewing the show. It was more about being able to eat first at the buffet. I'm not sure about the standard seats, but the seats at the very back were arranged as round tables for 5-6 people, and you could see the stage directly, so that might have been better. The show is conducted in English, but there was someone who explained the process of making clothes from tree bark in Japanese.

I heard great reviews from my colleague about her mother, so I made a reservation for my mother in her 70s. I was worried that we might get a bad seat since we arrived late, but we ended up with a very good table, the second one from the center. This tour includes a full course with a VIP backyard plan. The participation card gives a special feeling, and we had photo opportunities with stars and champagne. After finishing the tour, we went to the venue, where our seats were right at the front of the central stage. This was my third trip to Hawaii, and this time I chose the Rock-a-Hula show among many options. As the largest show in Waikiki that fuses Polynesian culture with rock, it was truly a wonderful experience. The backstage monitor tour I participated in was all VIP treatment, which was very moving.

First, we were guided to the green room where we received a welcome drink. Then, during the backstage tour, we were taken to areas not usually accessible, where we learned about the performers' costumes and props. We even got to wear some of the decorations used in the Polynesian show for photos, which was quite touching when I saw the pictures later.

The stage setup was fantastic, and the live band was powerful. Being seated in the front row center, I was completely drawn into the show. The performances of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson's songs and dances were so incredible that I almost thought they were the real deal.

The fire show was also more impressive from the front row than when I saw it previously. The delicious dinner and the photo gift added to the overall satisfaction, making it feel worth more than the price paid.

今度で3度目のハワイ旅行で、今回は数あるショーの中でロック・ア・フラショーを選択しました。ポリネシアとロックを融合させたワイキキ最大のショーと
いう名の通り大変素晴らしいショーでした。その中でも今回エントリーしたバックステージ付きのモニターツアーはすべてがVIP待遇で感動しました。
先ずはグリーンルームに案内され、ウエルカムドリンクがあり、その後バックステージツアーで、普段見ることが出来ない舞台裏に案内され、出演者の衣装や小道具の説明受け、そしてポリネシアショーで使う飾り物を頭につけて頂き
写真撮影をしてくれました。後でその姿をみて少し感激しました。

This was my first dinner show other than hula, despite having been to Hawaii over 20 times.

First, I received a pass to wear around my neck and was allowed priority entry after watching the hula from a special entrance. Then, I was taken to the green room of Elvis's dressing room. While enjoying some snacks and a welcome drink, I chatted and took photos with a beautiful performer, and then the manager came to guide us backstage.

After that, we had dinner at a table right in front of the stage. I wasn't expecting much from the meal, but it turned out to be one of the top three best course meals I've had in Hawaii—it was incredibly delicious.

Just as we finished our meal, the show began. The performance was fantastic, with not only singers but also dancers who performed not just hula but ballet as well. The music was impressive enough to satisfy even those of us who are particular about sound quality. 舞台袖には　早変わり用の衣装が沢山置いてあります。それを　各々が自分で本当に短い時間で変えなければならないと説明してくれて　出演者の大変さが　伝わってきました。タヒチアンダンスの大きな髪飾りを被らせてもらいました。大変大きいので　バランスをとりながら踊らなければならないという新しい発見もありました。

2年程前にこのショーを観て　とても感激したので　今回はバックステージツアーにしました。知らない世界を見て　演者さんとの距離が縮まったような気がして　前回以上に楽しむことが出来ました。

ステージの裏側は、日常では見ることの出来ない世界です。とても素晴らしい時間を過ごさせてもらいました。

I participated in the backstage tour and VIP dinner course (front row table seats) with my parents in their 70s. Honestly, I thought it was quite expensive when I signed up, but I'm glad I participated.

両親に今回のツアーで何が一番良かったか聞くと
父も母もこのショーを挙げました。
私自身も楽しめましたが、両親が楽しんでくれたのが何よりうれしかったです。

スターオブホノルルのディナーショーにも参加したことがありますが
ショーの質、料理の質、どちらもこっちの方が高かったように感じます。

The food, including lobster, meat, and dessert, was all delicious. Being in the VIP section meant we were in the front row, and the intensity of the show was breathtaking! I considered the cheaper tickets on the second floor, but I have no regrets at all. Being up front allowed the performers to come over for handshakes, and the service was great.

It seems that people line up about an hour in advance to get good seats on the second floor.

しかし、これほど感動し、ハワイを楽しめるものがあるなんて、想像していませんでした。

ハワイに行けるチャンスは滅多にないので、VIPのグリーンルームで1番高いものを選びました。
舞台裏の案内は支配人が英語onlyでの説明なので、最低限のヒアリングができないとちょっと勿体ないかもしれません。

食事は、ロブスター、お肉にデザートと、どれも美味しかったです。
VIPだと最前列でしたので、ショーの迫力は圧巻！2階の安いチケットと迷いましたが、後悔は一切ないです。
前にいると出演者が握手に来てくれたり、サービスも良いです。

2階はいい席をとるがためか、1時間ほど前から並んでいるようです。

ダンスだけではなく、ハワイらしくファイヤーパフォーマンスもあり、少しハラハラしました。本気の演技です。

演奏される曲は常に変わっていくかもしれませんが、映画のスティッチをみて曲をしっかり知っておくと、より楽しめると思います。
モアナの曲も良かったです！

その他、有名な曲もあり、ショー自体は英語が苦手な人でも楽しめる内容です。


出演者はみんな笑顔が素敵で、ここまで人に笑顔と感動を与えてくれるものは、なかなか珍しいです。
