This is my fifth time participating in the Mai Tai Catamaran sunset cruise, and I never get tired of it. Since it's a catamaran yacht, it doesn't heel, and enjoying the famous cocktails while watching the sunset is just the best. I plan to join again the next time I visit Hawaii.

I booked Rock-a-Hula for my wife, who was visiting Hawaii for the first time on our honeymoon.

It was a great experience to interact with people from other countries while sitting around the table with others who had also reserved the same buffet.

At the buffet, we were able to enjoy a lot of Hawaiian dishes. Everything was delicious, and it made our time more enjoyable as we shared it with those around us. My wife particularly loved the pineapple and kept eating it (laughs).

This time I joined the VIP course, and the variety and quantity of the dinner were incredible—so lavish that not even all the participants could finish it. It's a buffet style, and if you go about 10 minutes after the initial rush, it goes smoothly. The staff's performances during dinner were also engaging and kept us entertained.

After about an hour, we moved to the hall for the show. The fire dance unique to Hawaii and the performances by Elvis and Michael impersonators were breathtaking!

I was expecting to be sailing since we were aboard a sailboat. I was very disappointed and expressed my interest to sail with the crew (the wind was awesome) they said we could sail back. I brought this up several times and got other passengers excited about it as well. The crew decided we didn't have enough time even though we waited at the snorkel spot long after everyone had come out of the water. We did not get to sail back. Additionally when we were snorkeling I saw a turtle covered in fishing line all tangled up... I pointed this out to the crew and they said "oh well we cant touch them" with complete apathy.

It was quite depressing and the apathetic unenthusiastic crew just made it worse. Seek another sailboat tour. Maybe they will actually sail.

I signed up for the VIP course! With VIP, you get early guidance and other perks, which makes you feel like you're getting a good deal!

However, it started to rain in the evening, and since some of the VIP seats had no roof, we had to move. The cruise and the breathtaking views from above were amazing! The weather was nice and the waves were calm, but motion sickness medication is a must! I brought my GoPro, but when I was asked if I wanted to take pictures on the boat, it cost $40, and it was worth it. During our time, 3 out of 4 groups ended up buying it! You can check the photos after getting off the boat before making your final decision. They also provide the data on an SD card and your smartphone, so not buying it would be a waste!

I had a wonderful time with my parents, husband, and child, enjoying a three-generation family trip. This was our fourth time in Hawaii, but I was surprised to find such an enjoyable show! The buffet was very delicious, and I appreciated the service, especially how they cut the meat into large portions. When my daughter cried, a performer came to our table and entertained her with a ukulele, and the staff were all very kind, even supporting my father, who was feeling a bit unwell.

Above all, the show was truly fun and fantastic! There were so many engaging elements that my 2-year-old daughter danced and enjoyed herself, completely forgetting about the toys I had prepared. I had a wonderful time enjoying unique Hawaiian food and watching a fantastic show. If you're looking to experience Hawaiian-style cuisine and a fire show, I highly recommend it! There were many experiences that you can only have by participating in the event.

The buffet had a generous amount of meat served, so sharing might be a good idea. Also, since events like hula dance lessons start partway through, it's better to eat early. During the show, it can get chilly at night with the air conditioning, so bringing a jacket might be a good idea. Overall, it became a very lovely memory.

Everything was great except for our food. We searched hard for sunset cruises that included a vegetarian option, and this was one of the few. The menu was said to have a vegetarian pasta, but we were actually served stir fry and rice. It was fine but definitely not what we were expecting. Otherwise the crew and the cruise were great, and we had a good time!

It was a gloomy experience due to the heavy rain, but the dinner venue was fine. However, I did get a bit wet when going to get the buffet, so an umbrella is a must. I wonder if it was intentional to seat three Japanese groups together? Well, it made communication easier.

The welcome Mai Tai offers both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. It was my first Mai Tai, and while it was sweet and very easy to drink, it has a high alcohol content, so you need to be careful. There’s a whole pineapple on the table, so you can open the top and grab slices.

The buffet is organized by table, so there’s no confusion. Just be careful because the roast beef is located a bit further away. I wouldn’t have known if someone hadn’t told me. The roast beef and dessert were delicious. The others were just okay... so don’t expect too much.

ローストビーフとデザートは美味しかった。他のはまあまあかな…。あまり期待しないように…。
食事中に至近距離でルアウがありイイ感じ。食後にフラダンスレッスンがあり参加者は楽しそうでした。雨のせいか狭かったので参加できたのは少数だったのが残念。

食後はいよいよショー会場に移動。しっかりしたシアターです。トイレに寄ってから入ったので列の後ろだったけど、中央近くで席も悪くなかった。
フラとロックの融合と言うことでそれほど期待してませんでしたが、予想を大きく超える本格的なショーでした。エルビスとMJはもちろんソックリさんなんですが、特にエルビスの熱量の高い歌唱は圧巻！マイ・ウェイは感動すら覚えてしまいました。カッコいい！
もちろんハワイアンの方もとてもクオリティ高く大満足でした。1ドル155円と記録的な円安で高かったですがオススメします！

With the ocean and Diamond Head as a backdrop, the show was based on history and was so moving that even those who aren't fluent in English could appreciate it. The singing and dancing were incredible and truly touched my heart.

The food was plentiful and delicious, but unfortunately, we couldn't finish it all since we don't eat much. The drink tickets included three drinks plus coffee, but we couldn't use all of our drink tickets. Overall, I was very satisfied.

I had completed the check-in early, but when moving from the reception counter to the boat, I ended up towards the back. Once on board, there were no seats available! A few of us had no choice but to stand near the captain as we set sail. It would have been fine during the day, but standing on the deck in the darkness after sunset was unsettling... I thought I would never do that again.

After the fireworks, I was able to secure a vacant seat, and we had a great time singing "Can't Help Falling In Love" together while feeling a bit tipsy. In any case, I recommend not lagging behind when moving to the boat.

チェックインは早く済ませていたのですが、受付カウンターからボートに移動する際に後ろのほうになってしまい、乗船してみると既に座る場所なし！仕方なく数人はキャプテンの近くに立ったまま出航になりました。昼間ならよいのですが、陽が落ちた後の暗闇の中をデッキに立ったままのセイリングは不安定で・・・二度と御免だと思いました。

Very good trip. Crew was very knowledgeable while at the same time very relaxed. Put everyone at ease, regardless of experience level. Just the right size boat/group size.
Wonderful to be out on the water; we saw a couple of turtles on the way out and a couple more while snorkeling, as well as a variety of fish. Would recommend this excursion to others.
