I picked this cruise because I wanted to get out and do something for the Fourth of July, but I didn't want the hassle of dealing with huge crowds of people, fighting traffic, and being around a bunch of screaming teenagers running around.

This was the perfect choice for me. I am a big guy, so I like to eat...buffet style all the way, and I am a happy man. So the food was good. Drinks were available at reasonable prices, and the best part was nobody seemed to be there to get drunk, but just enjoyed some drinks and the night. The fireworks were the best ending to a good night. I made a great choice, obviously.

It was very enjoyable and interesting. The splashes of the waves were exhilarating, the swaying was like a roller coaster, and I was impressed by the deep blue color of the ocean. The view from offshore Waikiki was spectacular.

Among the participants, we were the only two Asians, and most seemed to be mainland Americans visiting for tourism (based on their accents).

Because of this, it was a very lively cruise. Indeed, the atmosphere tends to decline significantly when there are Japanese people on board.

If you don't understand Japanese and aren't quite fluent in English, you won't be able to grasp what the crew is saying. It was fun!!

参加者は、東洋人は私たち２人だけで、ほとんどが、観光で着ているメインランドのアメリカ人のようでした。

それなので、非常にのりのよいクルージングでした。やはり、のりのよさはでは、日本人がいると、かなり悪くなってしまいます。　　

日本語は通じず、かなり英語がしゃべれる人でないと、クルーの言っていることは、不明です。　
面白かった！！

I think there were about 25 people on board, and we were the only Japanese. It was a cruise where couples, families, and friends could all truly enjoy themselves in their own ways.

Everyone participated differently, but there was a sense of unity among us. My family, for instance, had the chance to take pictures with an American couple in front of us, and sometimes the couples were hugging and kissing. A group of young girls was having a blast, dancing to the music at the front of the boat while splashing water everywhere.

Thanks to the staff's attentiveness, everyone maintained a good distance from each other, and I can honestly say there was nothing to complain about. The beautiful sea, the view of Waikiki, and the pleasant breeze made it all perfect.

My 78-year-old father was feeling anxious before boarding, but afterward, he unexpectedly said, "I had so much fun, I want to do it again." I was truly glad that I could share this first experience with him.

乗船は25名ぐらいだったと思います、日本人は我々だけでしたがカップル、家族、友人同士それぞれが思い思いに本当に楽しめるクルーズでした。

参加の仕方はそれぞれですが、全員の一体感もあり家族で参加した私たちも前のアメリカ人のカップルと写真を撮りあったりする時間もあり、時にはカップルは抱き合ってキスしていたりと・・。
若い女の子のグループはめちゃくちゃはしゃいで水を浴びる船の先端で音楽に合せて踊っていました。
とにかくスタッフの気配りのおかげでみんな良い距離感を保てているし、おせじ抜きに言う事無しです。
綺麗な海とワイキキの景色、心地よい風。
78才の父も乗船前は不安になっていたのですが、終わってから「とても楽しかった、もう一度乗りたい」と想定外の言葉が飛び出して、初体験の父を一緒に参加させてよかったと心から思いました。

I've been to Hawaii many times, but after turning 60, I had one regret. I wanted to try surfing at least once! However, participating in the Outrigger Catamaran Sailing made me feel like my dream came true. The view of Waikiki, Diamond Head, the blue sky, and the azure sea from the water was breathtaking. I even found the strength of the wind and the coolness of the sea spray to be pleasant. The perspective was different from the dinner cruise I had taken before; it felt as if I was flying over the waves... Unfortunately, since it was in the evening, I didn't encounter any sea turtles. Next time, I definitely want to join a morning sailing to meet the sea turtles! If possible, I would love to see dolphins too! This was an activity I would love to participate in again. Thank you very much.

ハワイはもう何度も行ってますが、６０歳を過ぎて心残りがありました。
一度でいいから「サーフィン」をしてみたい！でも今回のアウトリガー・カタマランセーリングに参加して、夢が叶った気分でした。海の上から眺めるワイキキの街並み、ダイヤモンドヘッド、青い空、碧い海。風の強さも、波しぶきの冷たさも心地よくさえ感じました。以前に乗ったディナークルーズの船とは、目線の高さが違うぶん、まるで私が波の上を飛んでいるように…でも、夕方の時間だったので、海がめには遭遇できませんでした。次回はぜひ朝のセーリングに参加して、海がめに逢いたい！できればイルカにも逢いたい！
もう一度、ぜひ参加したいアクティビティでした。ありがとうございました。

I took my sister on this sail last night..and this is by far the best sail (tour wise) this island has to offer. Tropical winds, beautiful deep blue ocean and amazing hawaiian coastal scenery.

Crew on-board both the Spirit of Aloha and Honi Olani are superb and exceed your service expectations. Fortunately, for the adult beverage people, this became an Open bar sail (Beer is usually $1 and mixed drinks are $2) but this is because the boat departed late.

No one comes on-board to get drunk or rowdy..we were all in silent agreement to enjoy our drinks, enjoy our scrumptious dinner and have a wonderful time.. everyone on-board did just that.

Everyone who boarded the vessel were strangers, but we all became friends by the end of the night. Thank You Hawai' Nautical for a wonderful evening of good food, drinks, friendly conversations and laughter.

This is a really convenient luau. In good walking distance or a cab ride away from all the hotels and incredibly delicious food. Be sure to get the Golden Circle, because we did and we had excellent front row type of seating. CHECK IN EARLY TO BYPASS THE CROWD!!!

Some bad "Cons" about this is:
there is no good/ romantic picture taking scenery, chairs are situated very close to eachother so your banging elbows with the next person, its on the top of a parking lot structure and its just surrounded by a bunch of buildings.

Staff was friendly, water is always provided, the Food is BETTER tasting from all the other Luau's I have been too.. so that is a plus.

I was worried about the cloudy sky in the morning, but with the completely clear blue sky, I felt like a yachtsman. We were the only Japanese people, but we enjoyed sailing together with people from various nationalities. The color of the sea was stunning, perfectly described as cobalt blue and ocean blue. The yacht, boldly sailing against the wind on the sea, was more enjoyable than I expected.

日本人は私達だけでしたが、いろんな国籍の方々と
和気あいあいと乗り組みました。
コバルトブルー、オーシャンブルー、・・
青色の表現がぴったりの澄んだ海の色に感激。
海の上を風に逆らって豪快に進むヨットは思いの他
楽しかったです。

I wasn't sure about a Luau IN Waikiki but this one was really enjoyable. You don't have to take a bus 45 minutes each way or more outside of Waikiki, as you have to do with the other Luau's, which is a real plus! The food was excellent with a big assortment so there's really something that everyone would like. There's not really a bad seat in the house either. Of course we were sitting front row and it was pretty cool. Worth the extra bucks, in my opinion. The performers were really top notch. I'm not sure what I expected but they definitely exceeded anything I could have imagined. Definitely the best fire-dancers I've ever seen and I live here, so I've seen many. The whole experience was really fun and impressive. A great way to experience the culture of the islands.

It was just me and my friend, completely out of place among the Japanese, but the lively atmosphere and upbeat music really lifted our spirits! Surrounded by refreshing winds and the sea, it felt amazing. We encountered a large group of dolphins up close, and they even spun around like in a dolphin show. It's truly surprising to see this in the wild. Additionally, we were able to see sea turtles very close by, which was very satisfying. I recommend this for anyone who wants to see dolphins and turtles! I think it's a tour that can be enjoyed by couples, friends, and families alike. Don't worry, it's not a tour where you get too wet! Also, there are two hotels in Waikiki, Outrigger and Outrigger Reef, so make sure you don't accidentally go to Outrigger Beach! It's right next to Halekulani~~＾＾ It was a relaxing tour amidst a packed Hawaii trip.

日本人は私と友達の二人だけで完全アウェイ状態でしたが、外国人のノリの良さとアップテンポな曲で一気にテンション上がりました~！！！
爽快な風と海に囲まれてとても気持ちよかったです。間近でイルカの大群に出会い、イルカのショーみたく、くるくるっと回転までしてくれました。これが野生なんだから本当に驚きです。また、ウミガメもすぐ近くで見ることができ、大満足でした。イルカもカメも見たい人にはおススメです！！
カップルでも友達でもファミリーでも楽しめるツアーだと思います。あまり濡れるツアーではないので安心してください。それから、ワイキキにはアウトリガーとアウトリガーリーフの２つホテルがあるので間違ってアウトリガーのビーチに行かないように！！ハレクラニの隣ですよ~~＾＾
予定ツメツメのハワイ旅行の間にホッとのんびりできるツアーでした。

Only my friend and I participated as Japanese. When the white sails of the yacht catch the wind and pick up speed, we are splashed with water without mercy. I had a very enjoyable time while gazing at the blue sea. I definitely think this is an activity I would like to participate in again!

日本人で参加したのは私と友達の二人。
ヨットの白い帆が風を受けてスピードが出ると容赦なく水をかぶります。
青い海を眺めながらとても楽しい時間を過ごせました。

At first, I was worried about getting wet... but I ended up sitting at the front of the yacht, getting completely soaked and having a blast! I was able to enjoy a passion fruit cocktail on the yacht, and since the seawater splashed on us, I bought a drink in a shaker-type container! The cocktail had a slight salty taste from the seawater, and it was so much fun to enjoy it while having a great time with the other participants!

最初は濡れるのがいやかも…
と思っていましたが、ヨットの前に足を出して座り濡れまくり騒ぎまくりでハイテンションに！
ヨットの上でパッションフルーツのカクテルも飲めて、海の水がかかるので、シェーカータイプの容器に入ったドリンクを購入！海の水がかかってちょっぴり塩味なカクテルも、ほかの参加者たちと騒ぎながらでとても楽しかったです！

I was drawn in by the campaign price and decided to participate.

The yacht was relatively small, accommodating about 17 people. We boarded with my spouse and our 9-month-old baby, making three of us. The other guests were all foreigners (three groups, about seven people).

The boat left the sandy beach, started the engine, and headed a few hundred meters offshore. Once we were out at sea, we raised the yacht's sails and enjoyed the ride powered only by the wind. This was incredibly refreshing. Thanks to the cheerful captain and crew, the upbeat music kept the energy high throughout the trip! The alcohol mixed with tropical juice (for an extra charge) was perfect for this boat.

Although my spouse and I usually get motion sickness, we were able to enjoy ourselves this time without feeling seasick at all.

We even got to see sea turtles swimming, making this a thoroughly satisfying activity.

キャンペーン価格につられて参加しました。

ヨットは比較的小型のもので、１７人定員くらいのものでした。
我々は夫婦と０歳９カ月の赤ちゃんと３人で乗船。
他のお客さんは外国人の方々のみ（３組、７人位）。

船は砂浜を出て、エンジンをかけて数百メートルの沖へ。
沖に出てからはヨットの帆を張り、風の力だけで遊覧。
これが最高に気持ちいいです。
陽気な運転手さんと乗組員さんのおかげもあり、アップテンポな音楽でノリノリのヨットは常にテンション上がりっぱなし！
トロピカルジュース（別料金）で割ったアルコールも、この船にピッタリでした。

我々夫婦は乗り物酔いをする方なのですが、今回はほとんど船酔いすることもなく楽しめました。

ウミガメが泳いでいるところも見れましたし、大満足のアクティビティでした。

My wife and I participated together. The catamaran's docking location was right in front of us, accessible via a paved path leading from the Outrigger Hotel to the beach between the Halekulani Hotel. There were about twenty participants, and we were the only Japanese, but it was not a problem at all. Since our feet would get wet, we prepared to set sail in our swimsuits. The instructions were given in English, and we were able to leave our sandals and board barefoot. I tend to get seasick, so I quickly sat next to the center mast. The tour departed at 3 PM, and fortunately, the weather was great. As soon as we set sail, we spotted the silhouette of a sea turtle in the water. As we headed out, the sea, which had been calm, began to get choppy, resembling a bit of an amusement park ride. Other guests were squealing with excitement every time they got splashed by the waves. The view of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from the ocean was refreshing and created wonderful memories. I didn't give a perfect score of five stars overall because, on the way back to the beach, I got a bit cold after being splashed by seawater for a long time, which lowered my mood. I think it's best to wear a swimsuit if you sit at the bow, as you'll get wet often, but if you're near the captain, you might not get splashed as much.

　妻と２人で参加しました。カタマラン号の停泊場所は、アウトリガーホテルとハレクラニホテルの敷地間のビーチへ続く舗装道があって、そこを通ると目の前でした。参加者は２０数名、日本人は私たちだけでしたが特に問題なし。足元が濡れるので水着の状態で出航準備。英語で案内があって、サンダルを預かってもらって裸足で乗船。私は船に酔いやすいので、急いで中心の帆柱の横に座りました。午後３時出発のツアーで幸い天気もよく、出航してすぐ海中に海カメのシルエットを発見。沖に出ると次第におだやかだった海も波が高くなり、ちょっとした遊園地のアトラクションのようでした。他の客は波を被るたびにキャッキャ言っていました。沖から見るワイキキビーチ、ダイヤモンドヘッドの景色は爽快で、良い思い出となりました。総合評価で満点５つ☆にしなかったのは、ビーチへ帰るときに、長い間海水を被って少し冷えてテンションが下がってしまったことです。帆先に座るとよく濡れるので水着が良いと思いますが、船長近くの場所であれば、濡れることも少ないと思います。

We participated as a family of five. Besides us, there was a group of about ten American young people and a couple who were also American. The one and a half hours of sailing were overwhelming due to the lively performances of this group of young people (in their late teens) and the staff, making it a delightful and enjoyable experience.

ファミリー5名で参加しました。我々以外は、アメリカンの
若者グループ10数名と同じくアメリカンの夫婦一組でした。
セーリングの一時間半はこの若者（10代後半）グループとスタッフの乗りの良いパフォーマンスに圧倒され、愉快で楽しく過ごせました。

It was my honeymoon! I was torn between this and a three-star option, but I definitely think this one is better. There are crew members who are second-generation Japanese, so language is not a problem at all, which is reassuring. The ship is smaller than I expected (it has sails) and feels like a luxurious cruise.

The food is a buffet. You can take whatever you like whenever you want, but there are no refills, so if you don't eat the good stuff early on, it will be gone (laughs). However, overall, the flavors are delicious even for Japanese people, and I enjoyed a lot of it! (Desserts are served later too☆)

The sunset is truly beautiful! There’s nothing obstructing the fireworks, so it’s really nice.

On the last day of my honeymoon, I made some wonderful memories!

スリースターと迷ったんですが、断然こっちのほうがいいとおもいます♪日系二世のクルーがいるので、言葉も全く問題なく安心です。思ったよりはだいぶ小さい船(帆が付いています)でお金持ちのクルージングって感じ。
料理はビュッフェ？です。好きな時に好きなモノを取って食べる感じですが、追加はないので、最初の方に食べないと美味しいモノはなくなります(笑)でも、全体的に日本人にも美味しい味付けで沢山いただきました♪(後でデザートも出てきます☆)
夕日はほんとに綺麗です！花火も遮るものが何もないのでとてもいいです☆

It was an evening cruise, and I had a really great time. At first, it was fine to wear a short-sleeved shirt since the sun was out, but as we went out to sea, it gradually got colder. I think it's a good idea to prepare something to wear over your clothes. Also, when you get on the boat, your feet will get wet, so wearing shorts or capri pants is best. The captain tells American jokes and sometimes uses Japanese.

夕方のクルージングでしたが、とてもとても楽しめました。
最初は日が出ていたため半袖で平気でしたが、海へ出て徐々に寒くなってきます。何か羽織る服を準備するといいと思います。
あとボートに乗るとき足が海に入るのでハーフパンツか短パンがベストです。
キャプテンのトークはアメリカンジョークをとばしてます。
時に日本語使ってくれます。

All in all, was a good experience. The entertainment was excellent. Much less people than at the Polynesian Cultural Center lu'au which was very nice. The only problem was the server who was extremely rude and sarcastic and made a part of the night very unpleasant.

The sunset viewed from the sea is exceptional. There is an emotion that only those who have experienced it can understand. On top of that, there are fireworks. You can enjoy a classic Hawaiian experience that makes you feel luxurious.

海から眺めるサンセットは格別です。体験した人にしかわからない感動があります。おまけに花火。リッチな気分が味わえるベタなハワイを体験できますよ。

I participated the day before returning home on my honeymoon. During my stay, I couldn't see the sunset very often, so I was looking forward to it.

There was one other family of Japanese people besides us, and since the explanations after boarding were in English, I only had a vague understanding of how to wear the life jackets and how to order drinks, but I had a great time.

Feeling the pleasant breeze under the blue sky, sipping champagne while listening to music was exceptional! The sunset in Hawaii was truly beautiful. Even though it was March, I was able to see whales in the distance. If I have the chance to come to Hawaii again, I would love to participate again. I highly recommend it!

ハネムーンで帰国日前日に参加しました。滞在中、なかなかサンセットを見ることができなかったので期待していました。

日本人は私達のほかファミリーが一組で、乗船後の説明なども英語のため、救命胴衣の着用方法や飲み物のオーダー方法などなんとなくでの理解でしたが楽しい時間を過ごせました。

気持ちよい風を受け、青い空の下、音楽を聴きながらのシャンパンは格別です！ハワイでの初めてのサンセットは本当に美しかったです。3月でしたが、遠くでクジラを見ることができました。またハワイに来るチャンスがあれば参加したいです。オススメです！

I boarded the Sunset Catamaran for the first time. There are no Japanese people, so I feel a bit lonely, but I can enjoy the feeling of being abroad. Plus, the sunset viewed from the sea is amazing.

はじめてサンセットカタマランに乗船しました。日本人はいないので心細いですが、海外に来た気分を味わえます。それに海からみるサンセットは最高です。

An outstanding way to enjoy the waikiki sunset. Hawaiil activites is da bomb. our friday dinner cruise got cancelled due to weather. after a phone call to hawaii activites, they quickly got us rescheduled for the saturday evening cocktail cruise on the Hilton Aloha catamarran. We practically had this 50 ft sailboat to ourselves. a 1 1/2 hour cruise along the shores of waikiki. a beautiful sunset and saw humpback whales surfacing and "sounding". a fantastic way to spend our last evening in honolulu. The crew was great, attending to our every request. Great drinks and music. If you want a relaxing way to spend the evening and enjoy being out on the water, take this cruise.

I visit Oahu every year, but due to work, I never have enough time to relax...

This time, I was able to take it a bit easier, so I participated in sailing.

There was a bit of wind on the day, so the boat rocked, but...

From far away, I was able to see whales and dolphins swimming.

今回は少しゆっくり出来たので、セーリングに参加しました。

当日は少し風があったので、船は揺れましたが・・・

はるか遠くからでしたが、クジラやイルカが泳いでいるのも観れました。

Last year, I participated for the first time, and my entire family was moved, so even though the members were different this year, it was still an emotional experience. Above all, having dinner while watching the sunset and the show afterward gave everyone goosebumps and filled us with satisfaction. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend participating. I'm sure it will be a wonderful memory of Hawaii.

昨年初めて参加させてもらい家族全員が感動したため今年もメンバーは違ったのですがやはり感動でした。何よりもサンセットを観ながらの食事、其のあとのショーは全員が鳥肌ものの感動をもらい満足感でいっぱいでした。
機会があれば、是非参加されることをお勧めします。きっとハワイの思い出には最高だと思います。

We had a great time and would recommend this to other couples. The crew was excellent and very friendly.

Fun as always. This was our third time on this tour and we have loved it everytime.

This was my first time participating. I had been interested in a similar boat tour that departs from Waikiki Beach, and since there was a promotional price, I decided to sign up. After actually participating, I felt that even at the regular price, the experience was quite satisfying.

After checking in at the waiting area, there was a bit of a wait, but the departure went as scheduled. Shortly after setting sail, I saw the spout of a whale, but it was hard to see clearly due to the distance and the boat rocking. Still, the cruise itself was pleasant and very satisfying. It might be a good idea to have a long-sleeved layer since it can get a bit chilly.

The drinks served during the cruise were all reasonably priced, and you pay for them when you disembark. The photos taken before departure were sold for ten dollars on the way back, and I bought one. I would like to participate again when I visit Hawaii.

今回、初めて参加しました。以前、ワイキキビーチから同様の船が出ているのを見て気になっていたところ、キャンペーン価格だったので申し込みしてみました。実際に参加してみると通常料金でも充分満足できる内容だと思いました。
待合場所で受付してから少し待ち時間がありましたが、出発等は予定通りに進みました。
出港してから程なくして鯨の潮吹きが見えましたが、距離があるのと、船が揺れてはっきりとは見えませんでした。
それでも、本来のクルーズは気持ちよく充分満足できました。少し寒いので長袖の羽織る物があった方が良いかと思います。
出港中にサービスされるドリンク類はすべて安く、船を降りるときに支払うような形でした。
出港前に撮影される写真も帰り際１０ドルで販売しており、買ってきました。
また、渡ハの際は参加したいと思います。

In the evening, we set sail from the beach. We were the only Japanese people there, and it was nice that both the staff and the other guests were foreigners. It might have been even more fun if I understood English... We enjoyed a leisurely cruise while drinking and listening to music, waiting for the sunset. The wind felt really nice and it was the best! In January, the wind was a bit chilly, so a windbreaker came in handy. I would love to join again when I go to Hawaii!

夕方、ビーチから出航しました。
日本人は私たちしかおらず、スタッフもお客さんも外国人ばかりで良かったです。英語が分かればもっと楽しかったかも…。
お酒を飲み、音楽を聞きながらゆっくりとクルージングしてサンセットを待ちました。風がとっても気持よくて最高でした！！1月は少し風が冷たかったのでウインドブレーカーが役立ちました。
また、ハワイに行ったら参加したいです！！

There was a staff member who spoke Japanese, so I felt at ease. I spent an hour sitting on the net at the front, feeling the waves. Snacks and drinks were free, but I hardly had any. However, it was a lot of fun. Just be careful about getting sunburned!

日本語ができる方もスタッフにいたので安心していられました。
前方の網の上（うまく説明できませんが）に座って、波を感じながら1時間過ごしました。
スナックや飲みものはフリーでしたが、ほとんどいただきませんでした。
でもとっても楽しかったです。
ただ、日焼けだけは気を付けてくださいね

I was drawn in by the reasonable price and participated, and it was really great! The staff seemed to not understand Japanese, but they were very considerate, and I felt a bit sorry about that. I don't understand much English, but I managed somehow. I think there were five of us Japanese: a mother and daughter, and three young women. The registration was at the beach behind the hotel, and more people kept joining on the day.

You can wear anything, even swimsuits! It's better if your pants are short (above the knee). Even though I'm not good at socializing with everyone, I felt very happy just gazing at the sea and the sunset.

Thank you so much to the staff for being considerate to the Japanese mother and daughter. I would love to participate again next time.

リーズナブルなお値段にひかれ参加しましたが　とてもよかったです！　スタッフの方も日本語はわからないようでしたが　とても気を使って下さり　申し訳ないほどです。英語はあまりわかりませんが何となく大丈夫でした。日本人は私たち親子（母娘）と3人の若い女性の5人だったと思います。ホテルの裏のビーチで受付をしていて当日参加でどんどん人が増えていきました。
服装は水着でも何でもＯＫ！　パンツは短いほうがいいです。（ひざ上の）
あまりみんなとワイワイするのが苦手の私もぼんやり海や夕日を眺めいてとても幸せな気分でした。
スタッフの方　日本人母娘に気を使ってくださり本当にありがとうございました。次回もまた参加したいです。
