This time, I applied for the first time with ALAN. Since the application was only through the internet and email, I was a bit anxious, but the transportation was exactly on time and there were no troubles at all. We participated in the 9 AM session with a friend and their child. As mentioned in other experiences, the kids got seasick on the cruiser and ended up vomiting in the submarine (there are paper bags provided). However, they quickly became excited when they saw the underwater world! We were able to see sea turtles multiple times and even saw sharks under the boat.

While there weren't as many types of fish as in an aquarium, it was still more enjoyable for adults than we had imagined. From the second floor of the cruiser, we could see the ocean floor and were moved by the beauty of the marine blue!

After the tour, there was a shuttle service back to the hotel, and we could choose to stop by a coral factory (if I remember correctly) or disband at the location. Initially, it was stated that there would be no shuttle service outside the Waikiki area, but when I wrote down our hotel (Ala Moana Hotel), the pickup time was provided, so I wasn't sure if there would be a shuttle or not. I emailed to ask and received a reply the next day, which was very reassuring (in the end, there was a pickup).

We had the standard option, so we were supposed to listen to the Japanese explanation through headphones, but the kids were so excited that we ended up not listening to it at all. We also took advantage of the free child policy, and it truly created wonderful memories!

私たちはスタンダードだったのでヘッドフォンで日本語説明を聞くようになっていましたが、子供たちも興奮ではしゃいでいたので結局それも聞かなかったです。
これで子供無料制度も利用させて頂き、本当にいい思い出ができました！！

ハワイはサーファーが集まるところ、ということは波もそれなりに高いのです。自信の無い方は酔い止め飲んでおいたほうがいいと思います。それを除けば、日本ではできない経験なのでお勧めと思います。

We participated as a couple. We had reserved the premium option, but the day before, we received a call from the hotel in Hawaii saying that the premium submarine was out of order and asked if we could switch to the standard option. Since there was no choice, we agreed to the standard, but it was absolutely fine. 魚は潜る前からいっぱいいました。海がめがなかなか現れず、見れないのかなーと思っていたら、一匹前を泳いでいきました。さらに、沈没船のあたりでは巨大な海がめが何匹もいて、感動。船の中に入って行ったり、甲板で休憩してたり。ダイバーもいました。さらに、２メートル以上はありそうなサメも3回くらい（同じサメかも）見れて、大満足でした。
ダイビングしたことない人にはおすすめですが、潜水艦までの船がちょっと酔いそうになりました。同じ潜水艦に乗った方でずっと袋を抱えている人がいて、かわいそうでした。ハワイに到着したばっかりで時差ぼけの方は直ってからの方がいいとおもいます。

I made my first reservation for the standard tour at 10:00. I thought it would only be an audio guide in Japanese, but a narrator named Sean, who is fluent in Japanese, guided us. Since my children are 3 and 7 years old, scuba diving wasn't an option... but I wanted to show them the underwater world. While searching for options, I came across this tour. Submarine tours are generally expensive, but Alan's tour has a wonderful policy of free admission for children, so we decided to take advantage of it. It was truly a lifesaver! The whole family was excited for their first submarine experience. Shortly after the submarine started cruising along the seabed, we spotted a sea turtle! Everyone exclaimed, "Wow!!!" We were also amazed by the other beautiful fish. My older child compared the fish in the brochure with the ones swimming around and joyfully said, "There it is!" My wife exclaimed, "Amazing!! It's so deep down here, yet it's so clear!" I was worried that my younger child might get bored, but he was captivated by the sea turtles and remained excited until the end. Luckily, we were able to see seven of them. I had prepared for seasickness during the submarine ride, but I felt perfectly fine. With Diamond Head in the background, I initially thought I wouldn't need the photos taken by the staff, but when I saw them later, I couldn't help but buy them. They made for great keepsakes. On the way back, the staff member guided us to the bus, making it easy to return to our hotel without getting lost. It was a tour that left both the kids and us 100% satisfied. Thank you, Alan!

潜水艦のツアーはどこも値段が高いのですがアランさんのツアーはありがたい事に子供無料制度がありこの度利用させてもらいました。ホントに大助かりでした!!家族全員初めての潜水艦に興奮しておりました。潜水艦が海底を遊泳して間もなく海亀発見！みんな「おぉ~!!!」と大歓声。他の魚たちも美しく感激しました。上の子はもらったパンフレットに載っている魚と泳いでる魚を見比べて「いたいた！」と喜び、カミサンは「スゴーイ!!（海の中は）こんなに深いのに透き通ってる！」と歓喜。下の子は飽きるかなぁと心配していたのですが海亀に魅せられ最後まで興奮状態。ラッキーな事に７匹も見る事ができました。
潜水艦の遊泳中は酔いも覚悟してたのですが全く大丈夫でした。
ダイヤモンドヘッドをバックに、業者さんが撮ってくれる写真も初めいらないかなぁと思ってたのですが後で見せられると思わず買ってしまいます。しかし、良い記念になりました。帰りも分かりやすく担当の方がバスまで案内してくれて、迷うことなくホテルに帰る事が出来ました。
子供たちも私たちも１００％満足できたツアーでした。

前回は日本語ツアーでしたが、今回は英語と言うことで、ヘッドホンからの日本語のテープを聴きながらの潜水です。テープなので、実際の場所の紹介とずれてしまっていて残念です。できれば、日本語ツアーにすべきです。前回は、窓ガラスのモデルも見せてくれて、こんなに厚い窓なんですから安心ですよと教えてくれましたが、今回はいきなりヘッドホンをつけてくださいで終わりでした。
さらに困った？ことには、妻の隣が韓国人の方で、とっても親切な人らしく、日本語は１チャンネルなのですが、ハングル語の３チャンネルに直してくれたんです。１チャンネルに戻すと、しばらくして、また３チャンネルにしてしまう。そんなやりとりが３回くらいあったそうです。ちなみに妻は日本人です。
海中は、自然の海なので当たり前ですが、移動中はほとんど魚がいません。魚は珊瑚礁や、途中途中の船や飛行機の残骸に集まっています。水族館のような感じを期待していくと裏切られますので、心して行きましょう。
