For most of our group this was their first time snorkeling. Ryan was so patient, helpful and supportive, and gave great instructions — we highly recommend snorkeling in the Magic Island Lagoon for first timers. And with Ryan’s excellent support, videos of our experience, and patience we all had an awesome time. Be sure to heed the 30 minutes early arrival as we had a difficult time finding them (no sign) but they were near life station 1G which should be communicated in advance. We still got started right on time so it all worked out.

I was able to see the stunning views of Waikiki and Diamond Head from above in the best weather!! I definitely want to go again!!

I used Uber to get to the meeting place, but I ended up at a different port. I couldn't get through on the phone and thought it was hopeless, but I really wanted to go parasailing, so I went to the meeting place with a glimmer of hope. In the end, I was able to reschedule, and I am very grateful! The staff were very kind and it was a lot of fun, making for great memories.

If you're driving, be aware that there are several spots (ports) for parasailing, and in the morning, traffic can double the travel time, so caution is needed. I recommend doing it as you can enjoy a panoramic view of Hawaii.

集合場所までUberを使用したところ違う港に着いてしまい、電話も繋がらずもう駄目だろうなと思いながらもどうしてもパラセーリングしたかったので僅かな希望をもち集合場所に行きました。
結果リスケして貰えることになり、とても感謝しています！泣
スタッフの方もとても優しくとても楽しく、いい思い出になりました。
車で行く場合はパラセーリングといったスポット(港)が数箇所あるのと、朝は渋滞で倍以上時間がかかるので注意が必要です。
ハワイを一望出来るのでやることをお勧めします。

I made a reservation and payment for two people for parasailing on the first day of our three-day trip, arriving at 13:30.

After arriving, I changed into my swimsuit and sent my suitcase off, keeping only the essentials. However, I received an SMS at 11:20, ten minutes before the airport shuttle bus was scheduled to depart, informing me that all activities for the day were canceled due to strong winds.

After that, I had the option to either rebook or cancel for a refund, and I chose to rebook. I couldn't choose for the second day, but I successfully rebooked for the third day at 9:30. Since it wasn't due to my own circumstances, there was no change fee.

On the day of the activity, the original meeting time was 9:00, but due to a change in plans, I arrived an hour early at 8:00 by rental car. I changed and prepared at a nearby free parking lot. Although I arrived early, I was able to check in after consulting with the staff. I also confirmed the location of the free parking lot to ensure there were no issues.

We regrouped at 9:10, and by 9:20, our group of three, along with two other groups, boarded and set off. There is space to store luggage at your feet.

Once we were out at sea, parasailing began. You can take selfies and videos, but if it's your first time, you'll be battling fear while trying to operate your smartphone in a waterproof case under direct sunlight, so getting good photos and videos may depend on luck.

The staff also offers a service to take photos with a professional camera for $40, which I think is worth considering.

I won't spoil the details of the flight, but it was a very enjoyable and great experience.

As for tips, we gave $20 after returning to the port, retrieving our wallet from the trunk of the car. I’m not sure about the other two groups regarding their tips.

In conclusion, it became one of my best memories. I highly recommend giving it a try at least once!

事前に現地稼働可能な3日うち現地到着初日13:30で2名予約&決済。

現地着後にパラセイリング参加のため水着への着替えと最低限荷物保持しスーツケース発送完了し空港連絡バス発車10分前の11:20に強風で同日全てキャンセルのSMSを受信。

その後は再予約をするかキャンセル返金するかを選べる状況になり再予約を実施。2日目は選べず3日目9:30で再予約実施。自己都合では無いので変更手数料は0円でした。

当日は本来なら30分前9:00集合でしたが、予定を組み直した結果レンタカーで現地に行く事になり予定より1時間早い8:00に到着し付近の無料駐車場にて着替えなど準備実施。集合より早いが相談してチェックインもできました。無料駐車場の場所も念のため確認してもらい問題ない事も確認できました。

9:10再集合になり、9:20には他2組と自分達3組が搭乗して出港。荷物は足下に収納するスペースあります。

沖に出てパラセイリング開始となります。
自撮りで写真や動画も撮影可能ですが初めてだと上空で恐怖心と戦いながら防水ケースに入ったスマホを直射日光下で操作することになるので良い写真動画が撮れるかは運次第になると思います。

スタッフが船から40ドルで一眼カメラで写真撮影するサービスもあるので検討すると良いかと思います。

フライト内容はネタバレになるので書きませんが、とても楽しく良い経験になります。

チップは自分たちは2人で20ドルを帰港後に車のトランクにしまっておいた財布を取りに行ってから渡しました。他2組はチップ有無は不明でした。

結論、最高の思い出の一つになりました。一度はチャレンジしてみてはいかがでしょうか。おすすめします。

When we boarded the boat, a wave came at just the right moment, and we got completely soaked (laughs). I participated with my two small children, and the tour guides were very friendly, talking a lot with the kids! It rained and got cold along the way, so parents might want to bring a hooded sweatshirt or raincoat. The moment we saw a large group of turtles and dolphins was truly moving! The kids were overjoyed!

小さい子供2人連れての参加でしたが添乗員の方々とてもフレンドリーで子供達にもたくさん話しかけてくれました！
途中雨が降って寒かったので子持ちの方はフード付きのパーカーかカッパを持参したほうが良いかもしれません。。
カメやイルカの大群が見えた瞬間はとても感動！子供達も大喜びでした！

Despite my fear of heights, I took on the challenge! The view from 150 meters above was breathtaking. The meeting point was a bit hard to find, though (laughs). The hut was smaller than I expected!

高所恐怖症ながらチャレンジ！上空150メートルの眺めは絶景でした。ちょっと集合場所がわかりずらかったなあ(笑)小屋が思ったより小さい！

It was so much fun, a great adventure, beautiful views! The crew was great!

A while ago when I participated, I was seated front and back, but this time it was side by side for parasailing, so I was able to enjoy it while chatting! We went quite high up, and I was able to enjoy the wonderful views of Waikiki and Diamond Head!

ずいぶん前に参加したときは、前後で乗ったのですが、今回は横並びのパラセーリングだったので、会話しながら楽しむことができました！
大分高いところまで上がるので、ワイキキの町並みやダイアモンドヘッドの素晴らしい景色を楽しめました！

I chose this because it has good access from hotels around Waikiki and the travel time by boat is short. Since it's a boat ride, I think some people might get seasick, but it's only about a 10-minute boat ride from Waikiki Beach, so it might be bearable?? There is some rocking, so if you're worried, it's definitely a good idea to take motion sickness medication beforehand.

You can opt to have photos taken, and payment is made afterward. You need to communicate in English with the captains to request photos (if you don't ask, they won't take any). I thought they would just take a few casual shots, but they actually took quite a number of photos and even considered the composition carefully. They managed to capture beautiful shots with passing boats and planes, and I was very satisfied.

The woman at the reception was kind and greeted us with a smile, and she helped me when I was looking for the restroom (there was a restroom about a 2-minute walk away).

I gave a $20 tip to the captains when we disembarked. Thank you to all the staff for an amazing experience!

ワイキキ周辺のホテルからアクセスがよく、船での移動時間も短いという理由から申し込みしました。
船での移動ということもあり、船酔いする方もいらっしゃると思いますがワイキキビーチから10分ほど船を走らせるくらいなのでギリギリ耐えられるかも？？揺れはあるので心配な方は酔い止めを飲んでおくのが間違いないです。
オプションで写真をとってもらうことができますが支払いは後払いです。船の上で、キャプテンたちに写真をとってほしいと英語で伝える必要がありました(伝えないと写真は撮ってもらえません)。適当に何枚か撮ってくれるだけかなと思っていましたが、結構な枚数を撮影してくれており、構図までしっかり考えてくれていました。たまたま通りかかった船や飛行機と綺麗に撮ってくれていて大満足でした。
受付の女性も、優しく笑顔で対応してくれて、トイレを探して困っていたところを助けてくれました(徒歩2分くらいのとこにトイレありました)。
チップは20ドルをキャプテンたちに渡して下船しました。
スタッフのみなさま最高な体験をありがとうございました。

We gathered 30 minutes before the parasailing started. It was a bit far from our hotel, but we were able to get there without any issues using thebas. We boarded the boat with other participants and headed out to sea. The boat rocked quite a bit, so I think it's essential to take motion sickness medication if you're prone to seasickness. The view during parasailing was breathtaking!!! It was the best!!! You can get the data from your parasailing experience later for $40. Payment of $40 can also be made by credit card.

パラセーリング開始30半前に集合します。当方の宿泊ホテルから少し離れていましたが、thebasを使い問題なく向かうことができました。他の参加者と共に船に乗り込み、沖に向かいます。結構揺れるので、船酔いする方は酔い止め必須だと思います。パラセーリング中の景色は絶景です！！！最高でした！！！パラセーリング中のデータを後で40ドルでもらうことが出来ます。40ドルはクレカでも支払い可能でした。

Once gathered, we will split into groups and head to the sea by boat. Two people will take turns paragliding. You can enjoy the wonderful scenery for about five minutes! The equipment is not particularly difficult to use, so I think it will be fine.

集合したら各グループに別れボートで海へ向かいます。
2人ずつ順番にパラセイリングを行います。
5分ほど飛び、素晴らしい絶景をたのしむことができます！
装備品も特に難しいものはないので大丈夫だと思います。

My three grandchildren and daughter participated. I was worried that the grandchildren might say they were scared and wouldn't go, but they came down saying they had an amazing time. The receptionist was also very polite and explained everything well, making it a wonderful memory.

There were five groups including us.
There were no staff members who spoke Japanese, but they explained things using gestures and simple words, so it wasn't a problem.

The hardest part was seasickness...
I definitely recommend taking motion sickness medication for those who are worried!!
Once we took off, the scenery was amazing and it felt like a reset.
It was so much fun! I was very satisfied!!
I gave a tip of $40.

It was a fish similar to a flatfish, so I wished we could have changed spots more often with the fish finder. I really think Japanese fishing boats are the best. It's perfect for sightseeing.

カワハギ的な魚だから魚探で見れてもっとポイント変えてほしかったです。やっぱ日本の釣り船が最強と思いました。観光には最高です。

I had always wanted to try parasailing, and I thought it would be amazing to experience it in Hawaii, so I decided to go for it and signed up. The breathtaking views from Waikiki to Diamond Head, along with the refreshing feeling and thrill, were incredible. I was a bit worried that the guide only spoke English, but they lightened the mood on the boat with jokes in Japanese, which made me feel at ease and I had a lot of fun. I'm really glad I participated. I splashed into the sea multiple times up to my chest!

一度体験してみたかったパラセーリング、ハワイで体験出来れば最高だと、思い切って申し込みました。
ワイキキの町並みからダイヤモンドヘッドまでの絶景と爽快感、スリルが楽しめます。
英語ガイドのみという点が少し不安でしたが、日本語を交えてのジョークで船の上を盛り上げてくれ安心でとても楽しく、参加して本当に良かったです。

A catamaran running on the sea. It has a sense of speed and might be a tour you can't experience in Japan. Seeing Diamond Head from the sea, sometimes splashed by the waves, was a fun time. Since you will get splashed, it's definitely recommended to wear clothes that can get wet. The catamaran moves on the sea, so it can feel quite chilly at times, especially after getting splashed. The sea can be quite rocky, so it might be a good idea to take motion sickness medication for stability.

海の上を走るカタマラン。スピード感があって、日本では体験できないツアーかも。海から見るダイヤモンドヘッド、時には波しぶきを浴びてワイワイ、楽しめる時間でした。波しぶきを浴びるので、濡れても良い服装が絶対お勧めです。海の上をカタマランが走るので、結構肌寒く感じる時があります、特に波しぶきを受けた後は。海上は結構揺れるので、安定様に酔い止めを飲むのもいいかも。

This is my second time! It has to be 150m. I could say I came to Hawaii just for this (laughs). Unfortunately this time, I missed the bus and tried to get there with Biki, but got caught up in the Hilton strike line, which made me quite late. Even so, I was able to join, and it was a huge help. By the way, I called on the way to let you know I was late, but I couldn't get through to voicemail... that was a disappointing point.

Everyone was already on the boat, so I jumped right in and we set off! Same crew as last time! I love them ♡ I knew the drill, so even though it was a bit hectic, I just enjoyed it!

This time, the wind picked up quite a bit while we were out, which added an unexpected thrill (laughs). Based on last time's lesson, I had my Insta360 GO 3s ready at my chest and captured everything perfectly! Of course, the crew also takes photos from the boat (for a fee, and you need to confirm in advance). Diamond Head, Waikiki, Ala Moana... the blue sea and sky are just as beautiful as ever! The view is amazing!! According to the crew, there was a lady who was on her fifth time. I plan to beat that record (laughs).

However, there were some who got seasick, so if you're sensitive, it might be a good idea to take some medicine. It doesn't rock that much, though. It's a short time, and it's so much fun that you don't really have time to feel the rocking, if that's the right way to put it? (laughs)

これをするためにハワイに来たと言っても過言では無いです（笑）
今回大変申し訳無いことに、バスに間に合わず、Bikiで迷いながら行こうとして、ヒルトンのストライキ行列に巻き込まれて、かなり遅刻
それでも乗せてもらえて、めちゃくちゃ助かりました。因みに行く途中で遅刻を知らせるために電話しましたが、留守電で繋がりませんでした…それは残念ポイント。

既に皆さんボートに乗り込んでいたので、すぐに飛び乗り出発！
前回と同じCrew！大好き♡
要領はわかっていたので、バタバタしても、楽しむのみ！

今回は、上がっている時にかなり風が強くなって、ある意味想定以上のスリルが楽しめました（笑）
前回の教訓を元に、insta360 GO 3sを胸元に仕込んで、バッチリ撮影しました！勿論、ボートからCrewも撮影してくれます（有料。事前に要否確認あり）
ダイアモンドヘッド、ワイキキ、アラモアナ…言わずもがな青い海と空！眺めも最高です！！
Crewによると５回目という猛者のマダムもいたそう。私もその記録を越えようと思います（笑）

ただ、船酔いされた方もいたので、弱い方はお薬を飲んでおいた方がいいのかも。そんなに揺れませんけどね。短時間ですし、楽しすぎて揺れを感じる暇が無い、が正しいかな？（笑）

I told you that I remember the Captain, but it was not correct. Last time, Captain was a younger and shorter guy. Of course it was true that I remember you and I joined the tour to see you! Thank you again and see you soon!

I made a last-minute reservation around 3:30 PM for the final flight at 5 PM. Despite the short notice, the staff were very kind and accommodating. There were four groups participating, and each group had about a 10-minute flight. Since it was in the evening, the view of the sunset and Waikiki was absolutely amazing!

当日の15時半ぐらいに急遽でしたが、最終17時に申し込みました。
急にも関わらずスタッフのみなさんは親切に対応してくれました。
4組での参加でしたが、1組だいたい10分ぐらいの飛行です。
夕方ということもあり、夕日とワイキキが一望でき最高でした!

I wanted to try surfing in Hawaii, so I participated in this famous school. There were about 10 people in total, all beginners, and we were the only Japanese, but there happened to be an instructor who spoke Japanese, so there were no problems at all.

I was nervous since it was my first challenge, but the instructor encouraged me, and I was able to stand up from the first try! I hardly took any breaks, so towards the end, I was able to ride the waves multiple times in quick succession. I'm not sure if I can ride the waves on my own yet, but I had a memorable and fun experience!

One thing to note is that it takes time to fill out the consent form, so you need to arrive 30 minutes before your reservation time (as mentioned on the voucher).

ハワイでサーフィンがしてみたかったので、有名なこちらのスクールに参加してみました。
参加した回は全部で10人くらい、全員初心者、日本人は私たちだけでしたが、日本語を話せるインストラクターさんが（たまたま？）いたので、全く問題ありませんでした。
初めての挑戦で緊張しましたが、インストラクターさんが押してくれたので1回目から立つことができました！私はほとんど休憩しなかったので、最後の方は短いスパンで何度も波に乗ることができました。
一人で波に乗れるようになったかというと怪しいですが、思い出に残る楽しい体験ができました！

注意点は、同意書の記入などに時間がかかるので、予約時間の30分前に到着しておく必要があることです（バウチャーに書いてあります）。

I had an amazing time.
We experienced parasailing as a family of four. We went up high enough to overlook Diamond Head.
The ocean was blue, and we could see Hawaii from above. I was worried because I'm not good with thrill rides, but it was not scary at all and was truly the best fun.
The captain's jokes were really entertaining, and I was laughing the whole time!

My husband and I participated together. It was wonderful to enjoy the view of Waikiki from the sea while having some drinks. We also got to see dolphins and turtles, and the two cool female staff members were amazing! I would love to join again.

Big shout out to Scott and his team! We just took our first ever snorkel and my wife does not swim well and is afraid of the water. Scott is a very calm and encouraging person, my wife held on to the float and with the life vest had no worries about sinking. Sure the water was murky today, yet we saw fish, and held a starfish, a sea cucumber, and an urchin. Way cool!

I received reminder emails as needed, which provided reassurance that my reservation was confirmed. Although I was 25 minutes late this time, they waited until the last minute. While being late is not ideal, their flexible response increased my trust in them.
We participated as a group of five, totaling ten people, and the activity took about an hour. Each group had a ride of about ten minutes. Due to significant swaying, those who are prone to motion sickness should definitely take anti-nausea medication.
It was certainly fun, and I can also appreciate the safety measures, including life jackets and support for two people.
Photos are $40. They asked if I wanted one, but there was no hard selling. The minimum tip was understood to be $20, and all five groups gave $20.

リマインドのメールが適宜届きます。ちゃんと予約が入っているという安心感にも繋がりました。今回25分遅刻をしてしまいましたが、ギリギリまで待ってくれました。遅れるのはダメですが、こういった臨機応変な対応も信頼度に繋がりました。
5組10名で参加し、1時間くらいの所要時間です。1組10分くらいのライドでした。横揺れがすごいため、苦手な方は酔い止め必須です。
楽しかったことはもちろんですが、救命胴衣や2名サポートを含め安全性も評価できます。
写真は40ドル。いるか聞かれて、無理な販売はありません。チップは20ドルが最低価格という先方の認識でした。5組とも、20ドルを渡しています。

I was very nervous before trying parasailing at a height of 150 meters for the first time, but the staff were kind and it was a lot of fun throughout. I didn't feel unsafe and would like to participate again. The motorboat swayed a bit on the waves, so I took motion sickness medication before going.

初めてパラセイリングで150mの高さは乗る前はとてもドキドキでしたが、スタッフ方たちが親切で終始とても楽しかったです。

I read experiences and took motion sickness medication before participating. I was worried seeing someone on the previous boat struggling with seasickness, but thanks to the medication, I was able to enjoy the entire experience until the end.

It was amazing to go higher than I expected and see Waikiki from the sea!

I rode with cheerful staff and a lively group of five American girls. The boat was high-speed, and parasailing offered a great view of Waikiki, which was fun. It was efficient with three people per ride. The Hilton grounds were too vast and felt far away.

陽気なスタッフと、賑やかなアメリカ女子5人組と同乗しました。船もハイスピードで、パラセーリングもワイキキ一望出来て、楽しかったです。

This activity involves flying a sail with a wire while running on a boat, similar to kite flying. You go quite high, but because the sail is large, the descent is slow, and you don't feel that floating sensation in your stomach. The view from above was beautiful and calm, with no swaying left or right except for the wind, but looking down brought a considerable sense of fear due to the height.

The check-in was quick, just a signature, but the waiting time before starting was about 30 minutes. We went quite far offshore, and with two people in each of the five groups, we each flew for about 10 minutes in turn. The boat keeps moving during the trip back and forth and while the other groups are flying, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication if you are prone to getting seasick.

On the way back, as the wire is reeled in, each group gets partially dipped in the sea, but we ended up completely soaked, so wearing clothes that can get wet is advisable. Three of the participants were travelers from the mainland United States, and two groups, including ours, were travelers from Japan.

凧揚げをするように船で走りながらワイヤー付きのセイルを飛ばすアクティビティです。
かなり高いところまで行きますがセイルが大きいため、降下時もゆっくりでお腹がふわっとなる感覚はありません。
上空も左右に振られず風以外は穏やかで美しい景色を見れましたが、足元を見ると高さで中々の恐怖感がありました。
受付はサインだけなのですぐに終わりましたが、始まるまでの待ち時間は30分くらい。
船でかなり沖合まで出て、2人×5組いたのでそれぞれ順番に10分程飛びました。
行き帰りと他の組が飛んでいる間、船は走り続けますので少しでも乗り物で酔う人は酔い止めを飲んでおくことをおすすめします。
ワイヤーを巻き取って戻ってくる途中、どの組も海に半分だけ漬けられるのですが、我々だけ全身浸かってしまいずぶ濡れになりましたので、濡れてもいい服装がおすすめです。
参加者は3組がアメリカ本土からの旅行者で、我々を含む2組は日本からの旅行者でした。

Since the local weather can vary, I arrived on-site and checked the weather forecast, making my reservation two days in advance. The arrangements on the day went smoothly, and the people I participated with said, "I want to ride this again when I come back to Hawaii!" I was really happy to hear that since it was an activity I suggested.

You can see the familiar shape of Diamond Head and even get to view the backside, which offers a fresh perspective of its shape. The cheerful staff and the excitement of the other guests made it a fun, American-style experience. I will definitely come back to ride again!

当日の段取りもスムーズで一緒に参加した方からも、またハワイにきたら乗りたいな！といってもらえました。自分が提案したアクティビティだったので、喜んでもらえて嬉しかったです。
よく見るダイヤモンドヘッドの形から、ぐるっと裏側まで回ってもらえるので、違ったダイヤモンドヘッドの形まで見えますので新鮮です。
陽気なスタッフさんと、同乗したお客さんのテンションもアメリカらしく楽しかったです。
