It was 2 times to take surfing lesson. Izzy was a very friendly and wonderfull instructor. I had a great and fun time!!!

We participated as a couple in our 75th year. At first, we were anxious, but once we took to the sky, we were moved by the beauty of the sky and the sparkle of the ocean that we had never seen before, as well as the breathtaking view of Waikiki and Diamond Head!

75歳の夫婦で参加しました。はじめは不安でしたが、いったん空へ飛んでみると今まで見たことの無い空の美しさと海の煌き、そしてワイキキの町やダイヤモンドヘッドが一望でき感動しました！

Overall, it was a lot of fun.
During my first trip to Hawaii, the experience of "surfing while looking at Diamond Head!" is something I think is quite rare.

With that in mind, here are the good and bad points:
1. Good points
- Using a long board makes it relatively easy to stand up. They push you from behind, so it's fine. No one in the same group had trouble standing.
- The location is absolutely fantastic! You can enjoy long rides while looking at Diamond Head. It feels really great.
- They take photos for you. $30 plus tax. The number of photos increases based on how many rides you take.

2. Bad points
- Women who couldn't get out to sea were left behind. The instructor only pulled them once at the beginning. As a result, those who couldn't go out on their own had fewer chances to ride the waves. I think if there were helpers, everyone could have enjoyed it more.
- The teaching was rough for the price. Even setting aside the fact that it's in English, in Japan, you would get more thorough instruction for half the price. I felt it was just a name for a lesson. They were just pushing from behind.

I wrote both good and bad points, but as I mentioned at the beginning, since it's Hawaii, which is an amazing place, I still recommend it.
It's a great memory for your trip!

3. Bonus
Be careful as it can be more tiring than you think. I think it's better to avoid hiking Diamond Head on the same day.

総合的にみて、とても楽しかったです。
初めてのハワイで、『ダイヤモンドヘッドを見ながらサーフィン！』という体験はなかなか出来ないと思います。

それを踏まえて以下の良い点、悪い点を書きます。
１．良い点
・長い板を使うので比較的簡単に立つことができる。後ろから押してくれるし大丈夫。同じグループで立てない人はいませんでした。
・ロケーションが最高に良い！ダイヤモンドヘッドを見ながらロングライドも可能です。とても気分が良いです。
・写真を撮ってくれる。＄３０プラス税金。乗った分だけ写真が増えます。

２．悪い点
・沖に出られない女性は放って置かれていました。先生が引っ張ってくれるのは最初の１回だけでした。結果、沖に自力で行けない人は波に乗る回数が少ないです。ヘルプ係とかいれば皆で楽しめたのにと思います。
・値段の割に教え方が雑。英語なのは置いといても、日本なら半額でもっと丁寧に教えてくれます。レッスンとは名ばかりだなと思いました。ただ後ろから押してるだけじゃん。

良い点、悪い点の両方を書きましたが、最初に書いた通りハワイという最高の場所なので、やっぱりお勧めです。
旅の思い出には最高ですよ！

３．おまけ
自分で思っている以上に疲れるので注意してください。同じ日にダイヤモンドヘッド登山とかはやめた方が良いと思います。

My wife and I signed up for a semi-private lesson. On the day of the lesson, we were picked up on time and went to the beach in front of the Ward Center. The instructor was a local girl, and she didn't speak Japanese, but she did her best to teach us in a way that was easy to understand, using gestures and other methods. Learning while trying hard to communicate with the locals in Hawaii made the experience even more enjoyable. However, please note that they do take photos, but there is a fee for that.

妻と2人でセミプライベートを申し込みました。
当日は時間通りピックアップしてもらい、ワードセンター前にあるビーチでレッスンです。イントラもロコガールで日本語は通じませんでしたが、一生懸命分かるようにジェスチャーなどで分かりやすく教えてくれました。せっかくのハワイハワイの人とコミュニケーションを一生懸命とりながら学ぶ事がより楽しくenjoyでした。
ただフォトを撮ってくれるのですが有料です。

I managed to persuade my scared wife to take on the challenge together. The local guide spoke a bit of Japanese, so I wasn't too anxious. It was a 90-meter course, and they controlled it very well. I was screaming the whole time during the parasailing, but by the end, I wished I could have flown longer. On the way back to the yacht harbor, they even showed us dolphins. They took 96 photos for $30. The tip was about $10 per person.
It was amazing! Next time, I want to try the 150-meter course.

怖がる妻を何とか説得して二人でチャレンジしました。ガイド（現地）方も片言の日本語ができていたので、そんなに不安はありませんでした。９０ｍのコースでしたが、上手にコントロールしてくれました。パラセイリング中はずっと絶叫していましたが、終わりごろは、もっと飛んでいたかったくらいです。ヨットハーバーに帰る途中にイルカも見せてくれました。写真も３０ドルで９６枚撮影してくれました。チップは一人１０ドル程度でした。
　最高でした！今度は、１５０ｍ位に挑戦してみたいです。

This was my favorite activity while in Waikiki. I could have sailed all day! Had a great crew and was very relaxing. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

During summer vacation, my family of three participated. My husband and our 10-year-old son did the flying, while I rode along as an observer on the motorboat. My son, who was feeling anxious, was held by his father like a kangaroo and soared into the blue sky of Oahu, returning with a big smile on his face. On the way back on the plane, when I asked, "What was the most fun thing in Hawaii?" he said, "Parasailing!" Next time, I want to challenge myself at the highest height. We shared the motorboat with several groups and took turns flying, but even while others were flying, it felt wonderful to ride the boat with the wind in my face against the backdrop of Diamond Head. The location is just a short walk from the Hilton Hotel.

夏休みに、家族三人で参加しました。
飛ぶのは、主人と10歳の息子。私は、見学者として一緒にモーターボートに乗りました。
不安がっていた息子ですが、カンガルーのように父に抱っこされる感じで、オアフの青い空に舞い上がっていき、満面の笑顔で戻ってきました。
帰りの飛行機で、「ハワイで何が一番楽しかった？」ときくと、「パラセイリング！」だったそう。
今度は、1番長い高さで、私も挑戦してみたいと思います。
モーターボートには、数組一緒に乗り、順番に飛ぶのですが、他の人がとんでる間も、ダイアモンドヘッドをバックに風を受けながらボートに乗るのはとっても気持ちよかったです。
場所は、ヒルトンホテルのすぐ裏の海で歩いていけます。

We participated as a couple. We followed the recommendation to join in the afternoon of our arrival day. We were exhausted from the flight, so I wanted to rest a bit at the hotel and have lunch before joining, but there wasn't enough time. We ended up checking in, changing clothes, and hurriedly heading to the meeting place. On the way, I regretted not doing it the next day, but once we got on the boat and out to sea, all those thoughts disappeared! The incredibly beautiful blue sea and sky, the refreshing breeze, and the view of Waikiki from the ocean made me forget reality and lifted my spirits. I was hungry, so the beer hit me pretty hard (laughs), but that was fine too. You get two free drinks, but given the time, it feels like you might not be able to drink both, so it's better to drink quickly. The snacks were just a few types of snack foods in bowls... but they were surprisingly tasty, so I ended up eating a bunch at the end! It finishes quickly, but it's enough for a sailing experience. It was a wonderfully luxurious time where I could just relax. In our session, the participants were about half foreigners and half Japanese. The main crew member was a cheerful and kind Japanese-American who explained everything in both English and Japanese, which was reassuring. Next time, I want to join a longer sailing trip where we can also see dolphins.

夫婦で参加。到着日の午後におすすめという口コミを参考にしてその通りにしました。飛行機でぐったり疲れていたので、ホテルで少し休んで、お昼を食べてから参加したかったのですが、その時間はなく、チェックインして着替えて慌ただしく集合場所へ向かうことになり、途中、翌日にすればよかったかな、と、ちょっと後悔したのですが、船に乗って海に出たらそんなの全部吹っ飛んでしまいました！信じられないほど奇麗な蒼い海と空。気持ちのいい風と沖からのワイキキの眺め。一気に現実を忘れられてテンションが上がりました。空腹だったのでビールが結構効きました（笑）が、それもまた良し。お酒2杯まで無料ですが、時間的に2杯飲めるかどうかという感じなので、さっさと吞んだ方が良いです。スナックは本当にただのスナック菓子が数種類ボウルに入れてあるだけです…が食べてみたら結構美味しかったので、降り際にまとめ食いしました！あっという間に終わりますが、セーリング体験には十分です。気持ちよくボーッとできて最高に贅沢な時間でした。私たちの参加した回の参加者は外国人と日本人が半々位でした。メインクルーのお兄さんは元気で優しい日系の方で、英語と日本語で順番に説明してくれたので安心でした。次回は、イルカも見れる、もっと長時間のセーリングに参加したいと思っています。

You can get a sticker based on the flight distance. First, we started with the 300 feet group. Once the other group of 300 feet finished, it was finally our turn for the 800 feet. However, three-person equipment was installed, and my husband and daughter (800 feet) were called to the center. On either side were couples from the 300 feet group. Indeed, the rope and time were longer than the 300 feet.

It’s not that we were deceived; we were definitely flying at 800 feet. But it’s a mystery why we were grouped with those who had the 300 feet sticker. Essentially, it seems like they benefited from this arrangement. Even though we were a couple, we couldn’t sit next to each other, which felt like an awkward upgrade from 300 to 800 feet. I didn’t ask since I wasn’t losing out, but it felt a bit haphazard.

My husband and daughter who flew said it was incredibly exhilarating! According to my daughter, it was the most fun she had during this trip to Hawaii. She’s saying she wants to fly again, so as an activity, it was fantastic!

最初、300feetの方から。
もうひと組の300feetの方々が終わったら、いよいよ私たち800feet。
と思いきや３人用金具が取り付けられ、主人と娘（800feet）が呼ばれ真中に。
両脇に300feetのカップルが其々。。確かに紐と時間は、300feetより長い。

騙されたわけでもなく、ちゃんと800feet飛んではいるのだろうが
何故300feetのシールを付けた方々と一緒か謎。。。要はこの方々が得をしてる、という。
カップルなのに、隣同士出来なくてごめんね、的な意味合いでおまけで300→800へのグレードアップなのか。
自分が損してるわけでないのであえて聞かなかったが、なんか適当だな、と思いました。

また飛びたい、と言ってるのでアクティビティとしては最高です！

We had heard really great things about Girls Who Surf so had picked them for our very first surf lesson. One downside is that apparently it is impossible to actually get a female instructor which makes you wonder about the name of the group. Our instructor was Warren and he did a good job of explaining what all to do and then took us into the water. I was horrible at it and opted to sit out and let my husband finish the course instead and he actually ended up doing rather well. They took photos for us and since we were such bad surfers and there were so few photos they gave us a discount on the photo package. Both Warren and the photographer were really nice. Only possible negative of the outing is that even though we had provided height/weight info ahead of time they did not bring a board big enough for my husband and had to go get another board which delayed the start of our lesson. Wasn't a big problem since the weather was nice and we basically just sat on the beach waiting.

This was my second time participating, following last year. Perhaps due to the season (last time was in March), there were fewer waves this time. Also, it was no longer an all-you-can-drink option (beer was $3). Because of that, there were fewer people getting drunk and making noise, resulting in a quiet cruise. However, the view of the hotels in Waikiki and Diamond Head from the boat was incredibly beautiful.

Additionally, I made my reservation just before departing from Japan, and on the day of departure, when I mentioned that I couldn't check my email, I was informed by phone that my reservation was confirmed, and they even offered to send a fax to my hotel. This time, I felt that the attentive service from Alan was worth five stars, even more than the tour itself. Thank you very much!

昨年に引き続き2回目の参加です。季節的なものなのか(前回は3月)今回は波は少なかったです。それと、飲み放題ではなくなっていました(ビールは3ドルでした)。そのせいか、酔っ払って騒ぐ人も少なく、静かなクルーズでした。でも、船から見るワイキキのホテル群やダイアモンドヘッドはすごくきれいでした。
それから、予約は日本出発間際だったのですが、出発する当日はメールがみれないと言っていたら、電話で予約ができた旨をお知らせいただいたうえに、ホテルまでFAXを送りましょうかとまで言っていただきました。今回は、ツアーよりもアランさんの丁寧な対応の方が五つ星でした。本当にありがとうございました。

I signed up for the highest jump at 150 meters among all the groups that flew together. Strangely, I felt no fear at all, and it was definitely the right choice to go for 150 meters. The view of Waikiki, the ocean of Hawaii, and the horizon from above the sea was all breathtaking. I also asked for photos, and when I said in Katakana English, "Please take a lot of pictures!! ♪", they ended up taking 118 shots for me. Since they provided the data on a 4GB memory card, I thought $30 was quite a bargain, and I really felt it was worth it because they used a proper DSLR with a telephoto lens. For some reason, our group was also given the special service of dipping a little into the water, which made me feel like I got a great deal (laughs).

一緒の時間に飛んだ全グループの中で一番高い１５０ｍで申し込みました。不思議なことに怖さは全く感じず、１５０ｍで大正解でした。海の上空から見るワイキキ、ハワイの海、水平線、すべてが感動的でした。写真もお願いしまして、カタカナ英語で「たくさん撮ってください！！♪」と言ってみたら、118枚も撮って下さっていました。４ＧＢのメモリーカードにデータを入れて頂けるので、それで３０ドルは安かったなと思いますし、きちんとした一眼の望遠レンズで撮って下さったので頼んでよかったと本当に思います。なぜかうちのグループだけ水面にちょこっと落としてくださるサービスをしていただき、大変得した気分でした(笑)

We participated as a couple. Since we had taken a different surfing lesson the day before, we were a bit tired and left a little early with more than enough time. We also received T-shirts, which made for a nice memento.

We participated as a couple. It was my wife's first time surfing, but since it was a private lesson, she felt at ease. The conversation in English was slow, and they paid attention to our reactions, so it wasn't a problem for us, even though we couldn't speak much. With their excellent support, we were able to stand up from the very beginning, and we were very satisfied with the different views and sensations of the ocean.

My wife and daughter (12 years old) had their first experience. Both of them were able to stand on the board and ride the waves, and they were very happy. On the way back, they even said, "I wish there were a few more big waves," which shows how impressed they were. They mentioned they definitely want to experience it again. At the beginning, there was an explanation in Japanese on the beach, which made us feel at ease even though we didn't understand English. I was just observing, but there were no additional fees, and I was able to relax and watch under a beach umbrella.

家内と娘（１２歳）が、初めての体験。２人ともボードに立って、波を乗り越えることができて、とても喜んでいました。帰り際には、「もうちょっと高い波があればいいのに」というぐらい感激。是非、また体験したいと言っていました。説明も最初、ビーチで日本語で説明があり、英語のわからない我々も安心して体験できました。また、私は見学だけだったのですが、特に追加料金も無く、ビーチパラソルの下で、ゆっくり見学することが出来ました。

Participated with my husband and two boys (9 & 10). My children and I were nervous at first. But the two guides were awesome and very friendly. They explained the rules and prepared us for our tandem rides. Once we were up in the air the nerves went away.The view was so breathtaking. One of the guides also took some amazing photos of the whole experience (for purchase). I will definitely use Hawaiian Parasail again.

It was amazing. I was able to see the streets of Waikiki and the beautiful ocean from above. The height didn't feel as high as I expected, but it felt like I was a bird. I want to do it again. I also got to take a lot of pictures.

最高です。空の上からワイキキの街並みとキレイな海を眺めることができました。高さは思ったよりはあまり高く感じませんでしたが、鳥になった気分です。またやりたいです。写真もたくさんとってもらいました。

Even though I can't speak English, I received polite lessons! The instructor and the person who came to pick me up were both foreigners, but everyone was kind, and I had a great time surfing♪ I participated alone, but I highly recommend it!

The pickup was on time, and we were brought by trolley. We were the only Japanese among those who boarded the boat, and the others were native speakers, so it was quite challenging to keep up with the English. However, the staff managed to convey the important points in broken Japanese, which helped a lot. I took motion sickness medication, but I still got quite seasick, and the second half was tough because I felt nauseous. The parasailing itself was very enjoyable.

お迎えは時間通り、トロリーで来てくれました。一緒にボートに乗った中で日本人は私たちだけで、他の方はネイティブだったので英語についていくのはかなり大変でしたが、大事なとこだけはスタッフが片言の日本語で言ってくれたのでなんとかなりました。酔い止めをのんで行ったけど、それでもかなり船酔いして、後半は気持ち悪くて大変でした。パラセイリング自体はとても楽しかったです。

This was an awesome trip! My daughter and I were a little nervous but it was totally safe and the crew were great! Very friendly and very funny! We would definitely go on this trip with this company again!

You absolutely should do it! Highly recommended!! You should definitely buy the photos taken!! It was so much fun that my husband ended up giving them $10 without thinking about it, haha. We had a wonderful experience☆

This was the best para-sailing experience we have, we already para-sailed before in Cabo but it was not as good as the Hawaiian Para-sail. I would recommend this to anyone para sailing for the first time or experienced people. The tour guides were amazing as well.

We signed up for a fun activity for our family of four on the afternoon we arrived in Hawaii. I was worried we might be too tired, but it turned out to be such an enjoyable tour that those feelings disappeared. We were the only Japanese participants, but every time someone took off, both the staff and the others around us got excited. The staff were lively and skillfully entertained us while driving, making it a tour filled with laughter. Seeing Hawaii from above is amazing! While waiting for the boat, there aren't many covered areas, so I recommend bringing a hat and drinks.

今回は家族４人でアクティブに遊ぶという目的で、ハワイに着いた日の午後に申し込みました。疲れて大丈夫かな。と思っていましたが、そんな気持ちも吹き飛んじゃうほど楽しいツアーでした。日本人は私達だけでしたが、誰かが飛ぶたびに、スタッフの方も周りの方も盛り上がり、スタッフの方はきびきびしながらも、巧みに運転しながら楽しませてくれるので、笑いっぱなしのツアーでした。ハワイを空の上から見るのは最高です！船が来るのを待っているときは屋根のあるところが少ないので、帽子や飲み物など持って行くといいと思います。

We, a couple in our 40s, had our first experience with paddle surfing. The weather was great, and we set out from the beach of the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, walking in the waters of Waikiki with our instructor and photographer. Although we fell into the sea several times due to our lack of skill, the scenery was stunning and left us in awe. We also had many photos taken, which became wonderful keepsakes.

４０代夫婦でパドルサーフィン初体験でした。天候が良く、ロイヤルハワイアンホテルのビーチから出てインストラクターやカメラマンとワイキキの海を散歩しました。下手で何度も海に落ちましたが景色が素晴らしく感激しました。写真もたくさん撮影していただき記念になりました。

It was very hot, and waiting until the gathering was quite tough. I wish I could have waited in the shade. However, once the boat set sail, the pleasant breeze felt great. The beer we had offshore was delicious. I was satisfied. The view of Waikiki from the sea was also quite something.

とても暑く集合までの待ちがたいへんでした。日陰で待ちたかったかな？でも、船が出港してからはここちよい風で気持ちがよかったです。沖合で飲むビールのおいしかったこと。満足です。海から見るワイキキのまちもなかなかのものでしたよ。

We had a great time parasailing over the beautiful blue waters!!! The crew was amazing, very friendly and funny which made the experience even more fun!!! This is a must if you are visiting Oahu... The sights are magnificent!

I boarded a mixed bus from the Heideman office at the Waikiki Grand Hotel and headed to the beach. Everyone except me was part of a group, so I felt a bit lonely, but once I got into the water, it didn't matter about the group. I paddled on my own to reach the instructor, and when the waves came, they helped me. The instructor mentioned that if you're not used to paddling, it's difficult to ride the waves on your own.

The approximately two-hour lesson flew by, and depending on your stamina, you can ride the waves quite a bit! Since it's a less crowded beach (with a reef below), you can enjoy it without worry, and I highly recommend it.

All the explanations were in English.

ワイキキグランドホテルにあるヒーデマンのオフィスから混合バスに乗り込み、ビーチへ。私以外は皆グループで参加していたので少し心細かったですが、海に入ってしまえば、グループも何もありません。自力でパドルして、インストラクターの元に行き、波が来たら押してもらいます。インストラクターが普段からパドル慣れしていないと、自力で波に乗るのは難しいと言っていました。
約2時間のレッスンはあっという間でした体力次第でバンバン波に乗れますよー
人気の少ないビーチ（下がリーフ）なので、心おきなく出来ますし、オススメです

great expierence....we spent a great time with beautifull people!!!

I was wondering what it would be like at 130 meters above ground, but the bright blue sky and ocean, the towering Diamond Head in the distance, and the cityscape of Honolulu, along with the round horizon, created a view that was even more amazing than I imagined!! I had a blast on the boat, especially with some playful performances that involved getting splashed with seawater ^_−☆

上空130mなんてどうなることかと思ってたけど、真っ青の空と海、遠くにそびえるダイヤモンドヘッドとホノルルの街並み、そして丸い地平線と想像以上に素晴らしい景色で最高でした！！海水にわざとつけられたり、ちょっといたずらなパフォーマンスで船上でもめっちゃ楽しめました^_−☆

Friendly aloha spirit all around. If you're in Hawaii, then try surfing!! These guys are the best around by far. They take you away from the crowded side of Waikiki and truly give you a great lesson.
