We had a nearly 10-minute aerial walk per group. However, since we were last in line, I started to feel sick and ended up throwing up at the peak. I had taken motion sickness medication beforehand. The summit was quite high and it swayed a lot. Before returning to the boat, we jumped into the sea.

I had a stand up paddle board lesson with Alison on 5/31. She brought along the correct sized board for me, something the rental places at Waikiki did not, and we had a great time. After a couple of minutes of getting used to the balance, I was off and running....err...paddling that is. It was a beautiful day, before and after the rain squall, and we saw numerous sea turtles swimming by us. Alison was fun, friendly, and easy to talk to and was an excellent instructor. I had the lesson my first day in Hawaii and it was so much fun, I did it every day I was there.

The second day I had a regular surfing lession with (Mollie, Matty? something like that, I forget now. But it was great fun also, I caught a few nice waves and she was really helpful....another great instructor. The learning curve for surfing is quite a bit higher than SUP, but I enjoyed it so much I'm taking another surfing lession this Sunday in cold water (wet suit) here in Washington state. First of all, I thought there wouldn't be any staff who could speak Japanese, but maybe we just got lucky? A local male staff member explained everything to us in Japanese with great effort. The shuttle bus only spoke English, but we didn't feel any inconvenience and had a great time♪

First, we went out to sea at quite a speed, and we were launched to a height higher than we imagined (laughs), so if you're worried, I recommend taking motion sickness medication♪

The staff on board will take photos for you, but it costs $30. You'll receive an SD card when you get off the boat, and you can pay inside the building next to the dock. We weren't quite sure where to pay (laughs), but a Chinese participant helped us, and we just followed everyone else (laughs). I definitely recommend getting your photos taken! (≧ω≦)ｂ

Towards the end, there’s a moment when your lower body gets submerged in the water, and around that time, the staff asks from the boat, "Mizu Japon, okay!?" My father wanted to go, so my father, sister, and I participated together. The canoe could hold five or six people, but perhaps because it was early in the morning, we were the only participants, so two staff members joined us. After just a brief lesson on how to hold the paddle and how to row, we set off into the sea. We all paddled out to the open water and waited for the waves. The staff would let us know when a good wave was coming, and when we started paddling at their signal, we were able to ride the waves successfully. The canoe moved forward with great momentum, and surprisingly, we picked up quite a bit of speed, so we got pretty wet from the splashes (laughs). We rode the waves twice before finishing. They also took photos for us, and including that, it was about $30 per person, but I thought I would have been satisfied if we could have ridden the waves three times. Overall, I can say it was "fun!" and since it's an experience you can't really have elsewhere, I highly recommend it!

ワイキキのホテルから水着ででかけ、水着で帰ってこれるという手軽さが何より魅力。いただいたＣＤもお土産よりも大切な思い出になった。

The people I took the lesson with were a foreign couple, a group, and two children. Everyone was riding the waves. Paddling is really tiring, but I was happy to surf in Hawaii. My husband and I are from Vancouver, BC Canada. We came to Honolulu, Hawaii for our honeymoon. We decided to do something adventurous as newly weds so we decided to do parasailing! It was also our first time! I did a lot of research on the different parsailing companies and found that Oahu Parasailing did not have any accidents at all. They also had very good reviews so I booked with them through Hawaii Activities. We went with the 8:00am departure & 600ft parasail. On the day of, The driver picked us up at the front of our hotel which was in Waikiki. He was very friendly and knowledgable. While he drived us around the city he told us where to go, where to eat, where the best and cheap things were. He gave us great advice! After we were dropped off, we went into the boat with a group of Japanese tourists. The captian and his assistant were very nice. We participated as a group of three.

We joined with high expectations, as it was advertised that the rope length is 150 meters, the longest in Hawaii.

Since the parachute is pulled by a boat, it felt more like flying far from the boat rather than going high up.

The view of Waikiki and Diamond Head from above was wonderful.

However, both of my companions seemed to experience mild seasickness and parachute sickness, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication for those who are concerned.

I totally recommend this to anyone with a sense of adventure! The employees at the ticket booth were friendly and helpful. The boat captain and the guy in charge of strapping everyone in were very skilled, knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone was punctual and professional. I went with my husband and father and they were happy to let us ride all together. We were 550 pounds all together and were slightly over the limit but they weren't remotely worried about it. We purchased the 850ft rope and I wish I had gone with the 1000ft. I was worried about the height but it was great! We had things going on later in the day and asked for a "dry landing", they did AWESOME. I wore shorts and a t-shirt but was prepared with extra clothes if I did get wet... (and I really expected to...) but despite the STRONG winds and high waves we were hitting they easily provided us what we asked. A few years ago, I signed up for a "surfing experience" here. This time was my second, but since I'm still almost a beginner, I took a beginner lesson. Because the other participants were late, it ended up being a group lesson for just the two of us, which felt like a private lesson. The instructor was friendly and easy to talk to. My Japanese is at a word level, but it wasn't a problem.

As for surfing itself, the instructor pushed me from behind and helped me with the timing, which made it really easy to ride the waves (though it felt a bit like cheating...). I think they will adjust the lessons as your level improves, so I believe it's a great place.

The receptionist speaks Japanese, so I think it's fine even if you're worried about your English. Next time I go, I definitely want to take a lesson here again.

今回は２回目だけどほぼ初心者ということで初心者用レッスンをしてもらいました。
他の参加者が寝坊？だったために二人でグループレッスン＝蝉プライベートでした。

サーフィン自体は、先生が後ろから押してくれて、タイミングを教えてくれるという形なのですごく楽に波に乗れました（インチキですが・・・）。
レベルがあがればそれにあわせて教えてくれると思うので、いいところだと思います。

受付の人は日本語問題ないので、英語に不安があっても大丈夫だと思いますよ。
次回、また行く時にはぜひここでレッスンを受けたいと思いました。

I went to Hawaii for the first time.

We rode a boat with about ten people, but everyone except us was speaking in English, which made me a bit anxious. (They provide the minimum necessary information in broken Japanese.)

Also, the return bus pickup was not smooth, and for us who don't understand English, we were somewhat worried, wondering, "When will they come to pick us up?" "Will they even come to pick us up?" "Are we waiting in the wrong place?"

The staff there will take photos of you while parasailing for $30, so if you want photos, it's better to bring some money. (We only had the bare minimum, so we couldn't buy any.)

my experience was a little unnerving, as I knew what not todo, but wasn't sure what TO DO, couldn't relax for fear of doing wrong thing....More specifics on how one can lean, turn or shift weight, hand position on straps...would be helpful, but perhaps I'll venture To try again.....

I participated in a semi-private lesson with my 11-year-old child. The description states "children who can understand Japanese from age 5 and above," but the application form only displayed a pricing option for "adults aged 14 and above," which raised the question, "Can children participate?" When I inquired by phone, I was told that "for group lessons, we require participants to be 14 years or older." I think it would be better if this information was presented more clearly.

There are Japanese staff members at the office, so you can inquire in Japanese if you have any questions. The lesson coach is a foreigner and does not speak Japanese fluently. However, during the lesson, they provide instructions in simple English and also use Japanese for commands like "right" and "stand up." I think it's okay even if you're not good at English, but it might not be suitable for those who are looking for complete Japanese support.

The lesson content is very kind, and at first, they push out the board at just the right timing, so you can stand on the board relatively quickly. My child doesn't have great athletic ability, but by the third wave, they were able to stand up and had a lot of fun.

　レッスン内容はとても親切で、最初はちょうどいいタイミングでボードを押し出してくれるのでわりとすぐボードの上に立てるようになります。子供もあまり運動神経がいい方ではありませんが、3回目くらいの波から立ち上がることが出来てとても楽しんでいました。
　２時間のレッスン料金としてはすこし高いと思いましたが、とても親身になって教えてくれるので、まったく初めて、という方にはおすすめします。
　２回目以降や大人だけだったらグループレッスンでもいいと思います。
　貴重品は持っていけないのですが、レッスン写真を撮ったCD−ROMを１枚＄３０であとから販売してくれます。

I was so glad i did it!! I was a bit nervous at first, only chose 600ft line. It was an amazing view, amazing weather, and felt very safe! My dad can't swim - doesn't usually get into the water and afraid of heights, but he himself loved it!! If we were in Hawaii another day, I would have done it again but upgraded to the full 1000ft! I also liked the fact that this company is very safe! They cancelled my first reservation due to high winds & I'm glad they did because the second reservation I made, the weather was PERFECT!! Beautiful skies, water was amazing, and we got to see whales! Loved every moment of it!! Felt so free!!

We had no idea what to do the last day of our vacation, I am so glad the staff at Hawaiiactivities.com mentioned "Well why don't you guys do some Parasailing!"... this activity totally reeked of AWESOMENESS!!

This was my wife's first time parasailing, she screamed, but she loved it!. We had a terriffic time! The crew was great and even let my wife drive the boat around the Waikiki Coastline.

This was a lesson in English. I mistakenly made a reservation for an English lesson instead of a Japanese one...
The other participants were also foreigners, and I couldn't understand most of the explanations, but it was really fun.
The instructor helped us catch the waves properly. Even though it was my first time, I was able to stand up, and I'm glad I signed up.
Since it was a male instructor, I think he was especially kind to the women (laughs).
They took a lot of photos during surfing, and those who wanted could buy them on a DVD-R for $30. Tips are separate, and there is a tip box after the lesson.
There were two instructors, but the one who said he was from California was particularly very kind and cool.
The rainbow I saw while being rocked by the waves was beautiful and became a wonderful memory.
