We departed about an hour before sunset and quickly headed out to sea. With a drink included in the price, we enjoyed the beautiful Hawaiian sunset. I would love to go again on my next trip.

夕日の落ちる約１時間前に出発し、あっという間に沖へ。料金に含まれているドリンク片手に美しいハワイのサンセットを楽しみました。また旅行の際は乗りたいです。

Not one single conplaint! Everyone that attended spoke so highly of the entertaining and hospitable host.

当日は天気は良かったものの、
肝心のサンセットに雲がかかってしまい、、、
残念な結果に終わりました。

しかしながら、小さな船でのアクティビティのため、
船長が気軽に写真を撮ってくれるなど、
対応自体はとても良かったです！
日本人は僕らの他におらず、
終始 外国の気分を味わえたのは、
ハワイに 1週間いてこの船上だけでした。

他のツアーと比較した上で、
コチラに申し込むことに決めたのですが、
運次第ということを考えると、
お手軽に参加できるため、
このアクティビティがちょうどいいなと思いました。

This is my second time participating, having joined for the first time two years ago. I wanted my friend to experience it, so I participated on the last day of our stay, just like last time. We were able to see a sunset over the sea without clouds and a large rainbow over Ka'ena Point. It was my first time seeing such a big and vivid rainbow. After the sunset, there was a party on the boat. It was a lot of fun, and I'm sure it will be a memorable experience. I highly recommend it.

二年前に初めて参加して今回２回目です。
友人に体験させたくて前回と同様、滞在最終日に参加しました。雲のない海に沈むサンセットとカイマナヒラにかかる大きなレインボーがみられました。初めてみました。こんなに大きなくっきりとした虹。サンセットのあとは船上パーティー。これは楽しいです。きっと思い出に残ると思います。おすすめです。

My husband and I had so much fun on the catamaran...the view we had at sunset was absolutely amazing! The crew was friendly and very welcoming.

I tend to get motion sickness, so I took some anti-nausea medication, but I still ended up feeling sick because of the strong winds. We set sail to coincide with the sunset, but unfortunately, clouds covered the sky at sunset, and we could barely see the sun. I understand that activities like this are affected by the weather, so I know it's difficult, but it was a bit disappointing.

車酔いなどしやすいので酔い止めは飲んでいきましたが、風が強かったのもあり酔ってしまいました。
また、サンセットの時間に合わせて出航したものの、サンセットの時間には雲がかかり太陽がほぼ見えない状態でした。天候に左右されるアクティビティのため難しいとは思いますが、少し残念でした。

I was worried about the weather and whether the fireworks would be launched, but they started as scheduled at 8 PM, and I was able to enjoy the fireworks from the boat. After that, we cruised near Diamond Head, and the night view of Waikiki was beautiful.

花火が打ち上げられるか天候が心配でしたが、予定通り8時から打ち上げられ、船上から花火を堪能できました。その後、ダイヤモンドヘッド近辺までクルーズして、ワイキキの夜景がきれいでした。

I always used to go catamaran sailing in Waikiki, but it was my first time on a Friday night. The cruise after sunset was wonderful, and with the calm sea and a sky full of stars, I was reminded once again of how great Hawaii is.

Speaking of Friday nights, there are the Hilton fireworks, and seeing the fireworks from the sea offers a panoramic view that feels different from watching them up close, which was really nice.

It seems that both Friday night and sunset cruises often get fully booked, so I recommend making a reservation in advance. By the way, alcoholic beverages are available for free flow. I enjoyed about three glasses of sparkling wine.

ワイキキでは必ずカタマランセーリングを利用していましたが、金曜夜は初めての利用でした。サンセット後のクルージングでしたが穏やかな海と満点の星に「やっぱりハワイはいいな～」とあらためて感じることができました。
金曜夜と言えばヒルトン花火ですが、海から見る花火はパノラマミックで近くで見るのとはまた違った感じでよかったです。
金曜夜はもちろん、サンセットクルーズも予約で満席になることが多いようです。ご利用の際には事前予約をおススメします。
ちなみにアルコール類がフリーフローでいただけます。スパークリングワインを3杯ほどいただきました。

On our last day of vacation, we took the morning cruise. It was amazing! Woody and Zach are great! It was so relaxing ... And those views! Just gorgeous! We had the added bonus of seeing sea turtles and dolphins ... And Woody drew closer and cut the engine so we could watch them for a while. If we had found this cruise sooner we would definitely have taken it more than once.

I made a reservation to board the cruise in time for the Hilton fireworks. The meeting point is at the beach at the end of the path lined with surfboards, located between the Halekulani and the Sheraton. Most of the participants were foreigners, but there was no problem joining even if you can't speak English. Once we set sail, they started serving drinks, including Mai Tais. There is a bartender in the middle of the boat, so you can go there to get your drinks. Although it's an all-you-can-drink option, you need to actively go and ask for more, as they won't come to you.

The Hilton fireworks aren't as impressive compared to Japanese fireworks, but the night cruise with the sea breeze was quite pleasant.

ヒルトンの花火に合わせて予約して乗船しました。集合場所は、ハレクラニとシェラトンの間にある、サーフィンボードがたくさん並べてある通路の突き当たりのビーチ。外人さんが8割方でしたが、英語が喋れなくても参加に問題はありません。出航すると、マイタイを始めドリンクを配り始めてくれます。基本的には船の真ん中にバーテンダーがいますのでそこに取りに行ってうけとります。飲み放題とはありますが、自分からどんどんもらいに行かないと、向こうからはきいてくれないです。
ヒルトンの花火、日本の花火と比べたら、大したことはありませんが、潮風を受けながらのナイトクルーズ、結構気持ち良かったです。

We were blessed with great weather and enjoyed a wonderful sunset while having a good time with wine and beer. I prefer this type of boat over large cruise ships. Whenever I visit Hawaii, I always join a tour that includes a ride on a catamaran. The special feeling that you can't experience every day is the best. I highly recommend it to everyone.

天気に恵まれ素敵な夕日を見ながら、ワインとビールで楽しいひとときを過ごすことができました。私は大型クルーズ船より今回のような船の方が好きです。ハワイに訪れると必ずカタマラン船に乗船するツアーに参加します。普段味わえない特別感が最高。皆さんにもお薦めです。

I was on a cruise with American families who had just gotten engaged. Everyone was excited with Mai Tais, but we opted for pineapple juice to avoid seasickness. The cruise was longer than expected, and there were quite a few waves offshore. In the end, we didn't get sick and were satisfied to see the sunset.

プロポーズを受けたばかりのアメリカ人ファミリーたちと一緒のクルーズでした。みんなマイタイで盛り上がっていて、私達は船酔いしたら困るのでパイナップルジュースにしました。思ったより長めのクルーズで、沖は波が結構あります。結果酔うこともなく、夕陽も見れて満足のクルーズでした。

We participated as a family! It was very fun!
Since it’s not a large cruise ship, it sways and you might get splashed in some areas. However, that actually made it more enjoyable (^ ^)♩
There were restrooms on the boat, which was reassuring.
When boarding the boat, you walk along the beach, so I think flip-flops and shorts are a good idea.
There were also people boarding in their swimsuits.

家族で参加しました！とても面白かったです！
大きな客船ではないので、揺れて場所によっては波がかかります。けれど、それが逆に楽しかったです(^ ^)♩
船には御手洗いもあったので、安心でした。
船に乗る際、ビーチを歩きますので、ビーチサンダルに短パンがいいと思います。
水着のまま乗船されている方もいました。

The staff was friendly, and with the all-you-can-drink option and great location, it was the perfect activity for the first day. We were able to take photos at the beginning, and by the time we returned to the beach to watch the sunset, the photos were developed and available for purchase for $20. I would love to participate again if I go to Hawaii.

スタッフの感じも良く、飲み放題だし、立地も良くて、初日にはもってこいのアクティビティでした。
はじめに写真撮影をして頂けて、夕陽を見てビーチに戻る頃には現像されていて２０ドルで購入ができました。
またハワイに行くことがればまた参加したいです。

I participated in a cruise to see the fireworks from the sea on Friday!

I arrived at the meeting place 30 minutes early and watched the sunset, but despite arriving early, there wasn't any guidance provided. However, when the time came, many people started to arrive and board the boat, so I asked someone in line and found out that it was indeed our tour. I don't think you'll be left behind, but since there isn't any guidance from them, it's better to be cautious and ask.

The activity itself was really fun! The foreigners who boarded with us were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, so the atmosphere was very lively! It was interesting to experience that American energy.

The fireworks were, of course, beautiful, but after they finished, the boat took us out to sea, and we were free to sit at the front of the boat, which made it feel close to the ocean and was very pleasant! There was also unlimited alcohol, so I could enjoy the sea and the night view while drinking. There were non-alcoholic juices available as well.

The boat had a restroom, so I don't think you'll have to worry about that. (I didn't use it, though...)

金曜日の海からの花火を見るクルージングに参加しました！

集合場所に集合時間の３０分前に行って夕日が沈むのを見ていましたが、早めに行ったのにも関わらず案内等は特になかったです。
ただ時間になるとぞろぞろとたくさんの人が来て船にも海に着いたので、並んでる人に聞いて私たちのツアーだと言うことがわかりました。
置いてかれることはないと思いますが、聞かないと特に向こうからの案内はないので気をつけたほうがいいかと思います。

アクティビティ自体はすごく楽しかったです！
一緒に乗り合わせた外国人が結婚50周年のお祝いで親戚一同で参加していたためテンションがとても高かったです！
アメリカンなテンションを体験できて面白かったです。

花火はもちろん綺麗でしたが、花火が終わった後も沖まで船を出してくれて、船の先端に座ったりするのも自由にできたので海が近くに感じて気持ちよかったです！
お酒も飲み放題なのでお酒を飲みながら海と夜景を見ることができました。
ノンアルコールのジュースもありました。

船にはトイレがついているのでトイレの心配もないと思います。（私は使いませんでしたが…）

Captain Johnny took us out and we enjoyed ever minute from the check in process to the check out. I myself totally forgot it was a water boarding so my jeans got wet but that did not stop any fun on the boat. You can bring food & your own alcohol beverages on board with is a plus! This sail was so therapeutic to me and my inner Moana came out. I would definitely recommend this sail for those that want have more of a fun unforgettable ride.

This is my fifth time in Hawaii.
I have experienced the daytime catamaran cruise twice, but this is my first time doing the sunset sailing.
Drinking beer and cocktails while watching the sunset was amazing!
I'm definitely going again next year!

今回５回目のハワイ。
昼間のカタマランクルーズは２回体験していましたが、サンセットセーリングは今回が初めて。
夕日が沈むのを見ながら飲むビール、カクテル最高でした！
来年も行くゾ～！！

- Meeting point: When you enter the Outrigger Hotel and go straight from the entrance, it's easy to reach the beachside meeting location. I got a bit lost trying to find the meeting point from the beach.

- There are no staff members at the reception or among the catamaran crew who understand Japanese. However, I don't think it will be particularly problematic. The surrounding staff were quite friendly.

- Boarding takes place a short walk from the meeting point. You will get wet from the knees down as you board by climbing the stairs from the water's edge. A wave came while I was climbing the stairs, and I ended up getting wet from the waist down. Well, it dries by the time you disembark. You take off your beach sandals and go barefoot from the moment you board. It's also barefoot on the boat.

- As for participants, there was only one other group of Japanese people besides us. They provide a Japanese guidebook with safety points on board. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase inside. There is also a restroom on board.

- The wind was strong (maybe just that day?), and hats and sunglasses can get blown away. Please be careful. About half of them were caught by the staff, so it was okay.

・現地集合　
アウトリガーホテルに入って、入口からまっすぐ進むとビーチ側、集合場所に辿り着きやすいです。
ビーチから、集合場所を探してしまったので、ちょっと迷いました。

・受付も、カタマラン乗組員も、日本語がわかるスタッフはいません。が、特に困ることはないと思います。あたりの柔らかいスタッフが揃ってました。

・乗船は、集合場所から少し歩いたところになります。波打ち際から、船の階段を上がって乗船するので膝から下は濡れます。私は階段を上がるときに波が来て、腰から下が濡れてしまいました。ま、下船の頃には乾きますが。
乗船の時から、ビーチサンダルは脱いで裸足になります。船上も裸足です。

・参加者ですが、日本人は私たち以外に一組だけでした。船上での注意点などは日本語の案内書を渡してくれます。ソフトドリンクや、アルコール飲料は中で販売してます。トイレも付いてます。

・風が強くて(たまたま？)、帽子やサングラス、飛ばされます。気を付けてください。半分くらいはスタッフがキャッチして、事なきを得てましたが。

On the day I thought I had a reservation, I went at the scheduled time only to be told, "Your reservation was yesterday!" Feeling disappointed, I was then asked, "Would you like to join the next day's lunch cruise?" I immediately replied, "Absolutely!" and went home that day.

The next day, when I arrived at the venue, a different staff member was at the reception. After showing my voucher for confirmation, another staff member who had been nearby yesterday said, "I remember you," and I was able to board without any issues.

Once on board, there was an explanation in English that soft drinks were $5 each and the captain's special Mai Tai was $7 (if I remember correctly). I realized that the all-you-can-drink option was only available at night, so I was about to order a soft drink with a sense of resignation when a staff member named Gail said, "Come here for a moment." She asked, "You paid extra, right? So your drinks are free!"

That put me in a good mood, and I ended up drinking two cocktails, even though I usually don't drink much, and I got quite tipsy. The scenery, including the sea, was stunning, the staff were cheerful, and the cruise had fun elements like speeding up and splashing water, making it an enjoyable experience.

予約したと思った日に時間に行くと「あなたの予約は昨日よ！」と言われ、ガッカリしていると、「次の日のお昼のに乗る？」と言われたので、即座に「是非！」と伝えてその日は帰りました。
次の日、現場に行くと昨日とは違うスタッフが受付にいて、確認のためにバウチャーを見せて確認したところ、昨日近くにいてくれた別のスタッフが「あなたのこと、覚えてるわ」と言ってくれて、無事乗船させてもらえることに。
さらに乗船後に「ソフトドリンクは一杯5ドル、船長特製のマイタイは7ドル（だったかな）」と説明が英語であり、飲み放題は夜だけだったんだな、と諦め気味にソフトドリンクを頼もうとしたところ、スタッフのゲイルさんが「ちょっとこっちきて」と。聞けば「お金余計に払ってるよね？だから君の飲み物はフリーでいいよ！」といってくれました。
そこで上機嫌になってついあまり飲めないお酒を二杯飲んでしまい、すっかり酔っ払ってしまいましたが、海も含め景色は素晴らしいしスタッフは陽気で気分もよく、さらにはスピードを出して水をかぶらせるようなアトラクション的な要素もありの楽しいクルーズでした。

This is my second time participating. Last year, the event was canceled due to weather conditions, so I was really looking forward to this year. However, during my stay, I was troubled by a typhoon, and on the day of the event, it was unfortunately cloudy. Even though the tour went ahead, I was worried about the sunset. But when the time came, we were treated to a beautiful sunset! The captain and the assistant were wonderful people who kept the atmosphere lively while being attentive to our needs. Thanks to them, I had a very enjoyable time and I strongly want to participate again.

去年は天候の影響で不催行となってしまい今年こそは...と張り切っていましたが滞在中は台風に泣かされ当日もあいにくの曇り空、ツアーは決行でもサンセットはどうかな？とモヤモヤしながらヨットが出航
ところがサンセットの時間になると綺麗な夕日が！！
キャプテンとアシスタントの方も素敵な人たちで
細やかな気配りをしながらも場を盛り上げて下さいました
おかげさまで大変楽しい時間を過ごすことができ、また参加したいと強く思いました

I experienced cruising on a yacht for the first time. Cruising on a yacht while feeling the wind all over my body, along with unlimited drinks and a sunset sinking on the horizon, was amazing.

初めてヨットでのクルージングを体験しました。ヨットなので直接風を全身に浴びながらのクルージング、そしてドリンク飲み放題と水平線に沈みサンセットは最高でした。

I had a hard time choosing from several sunset cruises (including dinner cruises), but the result was "absolutely right!" (laughs).

On the day of the cruise, there were some clouds (which made the temperature comfortable), and the sun peeked out from time to time. With the cheerful captain and female crew guiding us, we started with a toast and enjoyed free-flowing Mai Tais, which set the perfect mood for watching the sunset. Plus, we even got a bonus view of a "rainbow" over Diamond Head!?

I think the weather can affect the experience, but for those who want to feel close to the sunset, I highly recommend this sailing for its cost performance as well.

したが、結果は『大正解！(笑)』でした。
当日は若干雲もあり(その分気温は快適)太陽が見え隠れする空模様でしたが、
陽気なキャプテン・女性クルーの案内＆“乾杯”からスタートするフリー
ドリンクのマイタイで、最高のテンションでサンセットを迎える事ができ、
更にはダイヤモンドヘッドに掛かる“レインボー”のおまけ付き!?
天候にも左右されると思いますが、身近にサンセットを感じたい方には
コストパフォーマンスも含めおすすめのセーリングだと思います。

In recent years, I've enjoyed the sunset sailing on the catamaran every time! The scenery and atmosphere are truly amazing. There are fewer Japanese people, and the staff speaks English. I feel a bit anxious since I'm not very proficient in English, but it doesn't bother me at all!

ほんとに景色、雰囲気、最高です。
日本人は少なめ、スタッフも英語。英語が堪能でないのでちょっと不安な感じもするのですが、ちっとも気になりません！

Such a beautiful weather! The green color of the ocean and the blue skies doesn't lie! Thanks to the friendly crew of Mana Kai Catamaran for making this such a wonderful experience! The whole gang at my work decided to take this trip together and it was truly a great way for us to loosen up after a stressful week!

For only $31 per person, you'll enjoy a fun ride, sip on your favorite drink (BYOB), or snacks, listen to good music, and feeling the breezy tradewinds while watching the gorgeous scenic view of Waikiki! Ahhhh..mazing! I would go again for sure!

We had a great time on this catamaran cruise. Captain Johnny and his crew were awesome, and they made the experience to remember.

My first booking with another boat was declined since it was last minute, but VELTRA called me and suggested to book this one instead. I'm glad they did because it was definitely on my bucket list of things to do. The price was also reasonable. The boat is a bit smaller than expected and they don't serve any alcohol on board, so grab some beers from ABC store and they'll keep them cold for you. I'll recommend this cruise to everyone who is looking for something casual.

It was sunny and clear, perfect weather to go sailing! We had lunch before departing so we brought light appetizers & drinks on board. The only "table" was the top of the storage box. Luckily, we didn't bring anything too large with us so it wasn't too bad.

The ocean was beautiful even though the waves can get pretty rough. Highly recommend taking motion sickness medicine before going out. It made the experience so much more enjoyable without worrying about my stomach.

Captain Johnny & his crew were great! Very friendly and funny. It was like a bunch of friends hanging out on a sail. I didn't even care that I got splashed by the waves. You guys are the best, can't wait to go again!

This was a really fun sail. We ordered pizza and brought it on board with drinks, though since it was an afternoon sail we had most of our lunch before departing. Bench seating with no tables, so we had to improvise. Finger foods that are easy to eat and not very messy are ideal to bring on, as are cans and bottles for drinks.

It's really cool and windy out on the water, so it can get rough if the boat goes near Diamond Head where the water isn't protected from the waves. That said, if you're willing to get wet it's a lot of fun sitting on the netting and getting splashed!

Great crew, comfy boat, tasty drinks. Can definitely recommend this evening cruise!

We were a group of Aussies celebrating my 50th in Hawaii. Thought this would be fun to do and we weren't wrong - everyone had a ball - even those who weren't expecting to. The weather was perfect - not needing jackets at all and the sunset was beautiful. We took heaps of photos with the sunset in the background and then Diamond Head as the boat turned around. The Open Bar was a great hit with the Mai Tai's flowing very nicely. The crew were friendly and fun. We had one member of our group worried about being sea sick but she said she felt nothing and really enjoyed the sail. Highly recommend doing this - all ages.
