The tour was conducted only in English, but even for us, who hardly speak any English, we managed just fine. It's not guaranteed that you'll definitely see whales, but they extended the time by about an hour beyond the scheduled time, and we were able to see them. I was really happy that they were so flexible.

Even though I had seen Waikiki from the ocean on TV, the actual scenery was amazing. Even if we hadn't seen any whales, it was a tour that left us completely satisfied! If I come to Hawaii during the whale watching season again, I will definitely want to join this tour.

My friends and I had a blast on the Ke Kai Waikiki sunset cocktail cruise, and seriously can't wait till we can go again!

The boat's brand spanking new and seriously comfy, and the drinks? Tasty and on tap! Props to the crew for keeping the glasses full and snapping awesome pics. Heads up, though, the nets mean splashes if you're cruising to Diamond Head. I got totally soaked, but it was part of the fun!

Sunset views? 10/10. Oh, and don't forget to wear sandals or flip-flops since you have to take off your shoes and walk through water to get on board the boat :)

Hella chill vibe, perfect sunset, and a splashy adventure, and I totally recommend it!

I have been on large ships for dinner cruises, but I rarely have the opportunity to ride on a sailboat or a yacht with an outboard motor. This time, I got to experience a catamaran, and it was absolutely amazing! It was my first time on one, and I had a wonderful time. Everyone stayed on deck, feeling the wind, and unlike large ships, we were often rocked by the waves, which made it feel like we were really out at sea. Although it was unfortunate that there were many clouds and I couldn't enjoy the sunset, the view of Diamond Head and the illuminated Waikiki hotels from the sea was beautiful. I was also surprised by the restroom on the boat. Be careful not to drink too many Mai Tais, as you might get seasick. We departed from the beach, but the meeting point is somewhat difficult to find for those not staying at the Halekulani or Sheraton, so it's better to scout the location in advance. The team at Waikiki Sailing were a well-oiled sailing machine! The directions provided in the confirmation email were clear and easy to follow. Check in was smooth and the beach boarding only splashed us up to our shins. We decided to sit on the catamaran netting on a particularly windy day and were warned about getting splashed multiple times. We endured the soaking and had an amazing time, plus the crew helped grab our empties and snacks so we could continue to enjoy. I recommend Waikiki Sailing 10,000 times over!

It is difficult to plate for the number of passengers and have it delivered hot in a timely manner. This was better than some experiences but not the best, which happened in Europe. As someone who scours reviews making sure to pick the right one, I definitely recommend this sail!!!

The crew was fantastic and extremely helpful the entirety of the trip. The boat fits a good amount of people but is still small enough to feel like you are not lost in a crowd. When leaving the dock, we saw a big group of surfers and then sailed along the entire coast up to Diamond Head. We saw a beautiful sunset, and even a pod of Hawaiian Spinner dolphins on our way out! After the sun sets, you get a great view of the city lit up at night and a beautiful view of the moon as well.

Great selection of drinks, first one is free (additional alcohol for only $6), and it’s not your usual cheap beer/wine but actually a full bar with great spirit choices!!

The price of the tour is extremely fair and we definitely would recommend this specific charter to any friends and family!!!! Thanks Moana Catamaran for a great evening!

Overall, the sunset, the ocean, and the scenery of Waikiki were all amazing! Since it was an all-you-can-drink option, I enjoyed as much beer and wine as I wanted, which really lifted my spirits. I drank a lot of wine. There wasn't any information in Japanese, but maybe that was a good thing. It depends on the weather, but if it's nice, I think you'll create wonderful memories.

We were a little apprehensive about getting a boat from the sandy beach, but it was all beautifully managed and we enjoyed a really good trip and a lovely sunset.
We were able to sit still and enjoy the drink and nibbles we had brought with us, while others enjoyed moving around onto the net to enjoy being really near the water. Even a little child under one year was there!
I would recommend this to anyone. A few steps through water and up into the boat led to a wonderful trip.

On the last day of our family trip to Hawaii, we decided to participate in this activity to create some memories. I had been on a catamaran a few times in Hawaii (with another company), but it was the first time for my husband and our 2-year-old daughter.

There aren't many activities available for children, so the fact that our daughter could join us for free was a deciding factor.

The meeting point was inside the Outrigger Reef. It was beautifully renovated, and the Holokai counter was easy to find. We got a little lost with the map provided, but the hotel staff kindly helped us.

From there, we walked to the boarding area near Halekulani.

Unfortunately, it was cloudy on the day of our trip, but just as the sun was setting, a gap in the clouds appeared, creating a truly wonderful memory.

Here are a few concerns that led to a four-star rating:

【Concerns】
- When we boarded, we were the only Japanese among about 30 people. It was fun to experience the international atmosphere, but the crew members did not speak Japanese, so those who are concerned about this should take note.

- The boat allows drinking. We chose not to drink, but the first drink is included at no extra charge! The international guests were drinking a lot and having a great time. Families with children or those who are not comfortable with drinking should be cautious.

- My husband and daughter got seasick. Depending on the weather, the waves were quite high and the boat rocked a bit. If you're prone to motion sickness, taking medication is a must! Also, please be aware that the ride lasts about an hour and a half.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we could feel the fun atmosphere from everyone on board. I think it would be good to compare prices as catamaran rates vary by company.

・私達が乗船した際は、30人ほどのうち日本人は私達だけでした。海外の雰囲気を味わえて楽しかったですが、乗務員さんも日本語は話せない方なので気にする方はぜひ。

・飲酒可能な船です。私たちはお酒がのめないので選びませんでしたが、一杯目は追加料金なくお酒を楽しめます！海外の皆さんはたくさん飲んで大変盛り上がっていました。
子連れやお酒のノリが苦手な方は、注意が必要かもしれません。

・夫、娘は船酔いしてしまいました。天候にもよるかと思いますが、沖合は割と波も高く揺れました。苦手な方は酔い止め必須です！また、1時間半ほど乗るのでお気をつけください。


全体として非常に楽しく、海外の雰囲気を一緒に乗船されたみなさんからも感じられて、楽しいひとときとなりました！カタマラン船は料金も各社違うのでぜひ参考に比較いただくとよいかと思います。
