The experience was absolutely very worth it with a big crew. We had a wonderful time with Jason & Courtney very very lovely host / captain. The boat was beautifully finished. Unforgettable experience 3-4 hours is absolutely perfect. We saw dolphins, sea turtles & fishes.

We thoroughly enjoyed the live singing and cultural experience.

The venue was next to Sheraton, we opted for premium seating which had front row seat to the show and more drinks.

The bartender who clearly wasn't happy to be there (there's table service we found which were much more pleasant), so we avoided the bartender there onwards.

The food was lovely except for the 2nd course where 4 sources of protein were served (chicken, fish, pork and something else) and it was heavy.

The highlight were the singing and dancers, we had a really lovely time and the weather was superb with the beach background and gosh what a beautiful sunset.

With the Royal Hawaiian Hotel behind us, we enjoyed a hula dance show in a charming square while learning about Hawaii's history. All the guidance was in English from the reception, but the staff were warm and welcoming, making for a very comfortable experience. The staff came to our table to confirm drink orders, and dinner was served buffet-style, allowing us to help ourselves. During the welcome activity, we could freely visit a corner showcasing traditional Hawaiian crafts from our table, taking photos and having fun. People from various countries gathered around their tables, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of an American garden party. The food was delicious, and the show was substantial, making for a truly satisfying experience!

I reserved a front-row seat. The host only spoke in English, so I couldn't understand anything they were saying... but I knew this in advance and could get the vibe, so I accepted that. The problem was the food.

After the drinks were served, the appetizer? It was served in a bento box-like container, and it was bad. Then we were served a plate with a mix of chicken, beef, and pork. Not many people around me finished their meals. We paid nearly 100,000 yen for this meal. What a letdown. The show itself was only good during the last 15 minutes. I was glued to the fire dance, but before that, it was a bit dull.

I booked this hoping my kids, who are visiting Hawaii for the first time, would feel the essence of Hawaii, but I'm not sure if it was worth the hefty price.

A great experience for the whole family. The show had a variety of dances and songs; and the performers were great. Also, being right on the beach with the sunsetting over the water and the lights of the cityscape in the night sky, it made for some beautiful pictures. We would definitely do it again.

Beautiful area, white tablecloths.....table for two, which was the best. Food was so delicious and the service was outstanding.....our waiter was the BEST! Loves his job and does an outstanding job of it. Enjoyed the show and hearing about the history of Hawaii....everything was PERFECT.

Loved experiencing this right in Waikiki! The location at the Royal Hawaiian hotel was really convenient (no long bus rides) and the food was 10 out of 10. It started to rain a bit during the show and within minutes, the servers brought out towels to everyone so we could stay dry and catch the last bit of the show. Service was fantastic. Would recommend the extra to get the Premium seating closer to the stage.

Unfortunately, the weather on the day was not great, so the event was held indoors. However, the spacious indoor setting was not a problem at all. We enjoyed the welcome drinks, additional drinks, and the food thoroughly, and the main show, despite being hosted in English, was moving. The price is a bit on the higher side, but I believe the experience is worth it.

The seats were at the edge, so I couldn't see the stage very well. It was a round table for eight, but the seats inside the table were free seating, so it's a good idea to arrive early. It felt more like a show centered around hula rather than a hula show. Since it was held inside a building, I couldn't feel the atmosphere of Hawaii. I was disappointed that I couldn't use all three drink tickets, but the food was very delicious.

This family trip was all about enjoying the classic experiences of Japan. This show was the best among them. The buffet was decent, overall good. The professional show was impressive. The location with the sunset over the ocean as a backdrop was also nice. My wife and daughter were taking lots of photos.

The venue facing the beach had a perfect atmosphere with the ambiance of the setting beach and the area illuminated by the bonfire. The food was delicious, and it was completely different from the luau I experienced at another hotel, which was very nice.

Thanks to choosing the premium seats and arriving early, I was able to enjoy the show from the front row. If you arrive late, you might end up with seats further back, so I recommend arriving at the designated time.

When I arrived at the venue, I learned that due to the weather forecast predicting rain, the meal would be indoors. The sky didn't seem like it would rain, so my excitement dropped significantly from the start.

However, the luau became enjoyable as it progressed, and I was glad I participated. The hula dance performed solo by one of the dancers was truly beautiful! It was my first time being moved by hula. I would love to see that dancer's hula again.

The food was good. So, I decided to try breakfast at Surf Lanai later, but that was not as great...

Initially, I planned to make a reservation through the hotel’s website, but it stated that there would be no performance on the Thursday during my stay. I opted for the premium plan, but I don't think there was much difference in viewing the show. It was more about being able to eat first at the buffet. I'm not sure about the standard seats, but the seats at the very back were arranged as round tables for 5-6 people, and you could see the stage directly, so that might have been better. The show is conducted in English, but there was someone who explained the process of making clothes from tree bark in Japanese.

We participated as a family.
The show had various types, including performances for men only, women only, modern styles, and introductions to Hawaiian royalty, so we were never bored. It was a bit amusing to see the same dancers come out multiple times in different costumes. According to a hula expert in our group, the level of hula was also very high.
The food was delicious, but when we were leisurely eating, they started clearing things away around 7 PM. (I wanted a second helping of watermelon...)

I booked a premium seat. Due to bad weather, the show was indoors, and the seat I was assigned was at the very end of a table among several in front of the stage, facing away from the stage at the back of a long table. It was neither the front row nor the second row as stated in the premium seat plan. There were also some troubles, and I couldn't enjoy it at all. The content of the show and the staff's response were also lacking. I might have had too high expectations just because it was at the Royal Hawaiian. After returning home, I contacted Veltra about the day's events, and they provided a discount refund. Veltra's response was quick and very good, which gave me peace of mind. Next time, I will book another Hawaiian show.
