I made a reservation for the trolley bus to Diamond Head. The day before using it, I presented my confirmation at the LeaLea Lounge on the third floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center and exchanged it for my boarding pass. At that time, I received the route and timetable for each line at the counter, which was convenient to carry around. The trolley to Diamond Head operates early in the morning, but you can't climb the mountain in the evening, so the trolley service ended around that time. Additionally, it gets crowded, so the staff advised me to board the first trolley at the Royal Hawaiian Center. I was able to travel while feeling the Hawaiian breeze in an open vehicle. Since the conditions allowed for unlimited use throughout the day, I took the trolley on the East Oahu route that departs at 2:30 PM, which only runs twice a day in the afternoon.

ダイアモンドヘッドに行くトロリーバス目当てで予約しました。利用する前日にロイヤル・ハワイアン・センターＢ館の３階にあるLeaLeaラウンジで確認書を提示し、乗車券に引き換えました。その際、窓口で各路線のルートと時刻表をもらいましたので、それを携帯しながら回れ便利でした。ダイアモンドヘッドに行くトロリーは朝早くから運行していますが、夕方くらいで山に登れなくなるので、トロリーは夕方くらいで終わりました。また、混雑するのでスタッフの方に始発のロイヤル・ハワイアン・センターで乗車するようアドバイスをいただきました。窓のない車でハワイの風を感じながら移動できました。１日何度でも利用できる条件でしたので、午後は１日２便しか運行していない１４時３０分発、東オアフルートのトロリーに乗りました。

On the first day of arrival, since I couldn't predict my time and physical condition, I decided to take the Waikiki Trolley. Although I could purchase tickets on-site, I opted to make a reservation in advance. After making the reservation, I showed my voucher at the local counter and exchanged it for a paper ticket (it seems that if you book through the official website, you can receive an electronic ticket).

This time, I purchased a one-day pass, but unlike other companies, the Waikiki Trolley's one-day pass is valid for two consecutive days, so I used it over two days to ride three routes (Blue, Green, and Red). From my experience, the recommendations for sightseeing points and how to spend time varied depending on the driver, but I appreciated that it took us to various tourist spots around Waikiki.

Additionally, in terms of differences from other trolley buses, aside from the fare and destinations, I got the impression that the clientele was different. While the Waikiki Trolley carries tourists from America, the High Bus and LeaLea Trolley seemed to mainly cater to Japanese tourists. However, in any case, it was rarely fully booked, and unlike The Bus, the interior was open, allowing us to enjoy the pleasant Hawaiian breeze while sightseeing.

到着初日は時間と体調が読めないために、ワイキキトロリーに乗ろうと思っており、事前に手配できることはしておこうと、当日現地で購入することもできますけど、事前申し込みをしました。申し込み後、現地のカウンターで、バウチャーを見せ、紙のチケットに交換してもらうという形です（公式サイトから予約すると電子チケットが受け取れるようです）。
今回、一日券を購入しましたが、ワイキキトロリーは他社と違って、今のところ一日券は連続する2日間有効なので、２日間かけて3路線（ブルー・グリーン・レッド）乗車しました。乗った感想では、運転手さんによって、この観光ポイントを見てもらいたい、というおすすめの場所と時間の使い方が違いますが、ワイキキ周辺の観光地を訪問してくれるのがありがたかったです。
また、他社のトロリーバスとの違いですが、料金や訪問先以外には、見たところ客層が異なるという印象を受けました。ワイキキトロリーはアメリカ人などの観光客も乗車しますが、ハイバスやLeaLeaトロリーは日本人観光客が中心という印象を受けました。ただ、いずれにしてもあまり満席になることは少なかったですし、ザ・バスと違って車内はオープンなので、ハワイの心地よい風を受けながら、観光ができてよかったです。

I purchased a 7-day pass. At the time of purchase, it was about 13,000 yen, which is just under 1,900 yen per day. It's quite expensive. If you have a JCB card, the Pink Line is free, so it’s worth considering how much you will use the other lines. I smoothly exchanged my Veltra voucher at the nearest LeaLea Lounge. The staff at the lounge were very kind.

I took the East Oahu Scenic Line, which wasn't available before. It was a long 3-hour drive with a restroom break (it was a park restroom, but it was acceptable, and there was toilet paper). We stopped at various points like Hanauma Bay, Halona Blowhole, and Sandy Beach for photo opportunities, and driving in the open-air trolley was quite refreshing. It feels like I could get my money's worth just from this route.

I was looking forward to the Ala Moana Sunset Drive, but unfortunately, there wasn't a beautiful sunset. Well, it’s nature, so it can’t be helped. That day, the roads were heavily congested, and what usually takes about 60 minutes took 90 minutes. Those with dinner reservations should be cautious.

The Malama Line, which tours downtown, had a significantly changed route compared to five years ago. The King Kamehameha statue and Izumo Taisha were previously only viewed from the bus, but this time we had a photo opportunity after getting off, which was nice. Also, on all lines, there used to be a Japanese-speaking guide in addition to the driver, but this time there wasn't one.

７日券を購入。購入時のレートで日本円で大体１３０００円強、１日あたり１９００円弱といったところ。結構高いですね。ＪＣＢカードがあればピンクラインは無料なのでその他の路線をどれだけ利用するかといったところが考えどころです。ベルトラのバウチャーを最寄りのLeaLeaラウンジに持ち込みスムーズに交換出来ました。ラウンジの方も大変親切でした。

以前はなかった東オアフ絶景ラインに乗車しました。３時間のロングドライブで途中トイレタイム（公園のお手洗いでしたが何とか許容範囲。紙もありました）もありました。ハナウマ湾、ハロナ潮吹き岩、サンディビーチ等ところどころ写真タイムで下車しながら開放感のあるトロリーでドライブするのはなかなか爽快感がありました。この路線だけで結構元が取れそうな感じです。

アラモアナサンセットドライブを楽しみにしていたのですがきれいな夕焼けにならず残念でした。まぁ自然のことなので仕方ないですが。この日は道路が大渋滞で一周約６０分のところ９０分かかりました。ディナーの予約等されている方は注意です。

ダウンタウン方面を巡るマラマライン、以前（５年前）と大分ルートが変わっていました。カメハメハ大王像、出雲大社は以前は「車窓より見学」でしたが今回は下車しての写真タイムがあったのが良かったです。
また、いずれのラインも以前はドライバーの他に日本語ガイドが乗車していましたが今回はいらっしゃいませんでした。

I took the Red Line and got off at the Honolulu Museum of Art, then rode from the museum to the Waikiki Shopping Plaza. It took some time, but I was able to stop at several places to take photos, and although the explanations were in English, it was nice to enjoy a leisurely sightseeing experience.

レッドラインに乗ってワイキキ美術館で降りてまたワイキキ美術館からワイキキショッピングプラザまで乗りました。時間はかかってしまいますが、
途中何ヶ所か止まって写真撮れたり、英語ですが説明をしてくれたり、のんびり観光できて良かったです。

The cheerful driver provides sightseeing explanations in English at key points. If you want to see the city, take the Red Line. For local dining, use the Green Line, and for views of Diamond Head's crater and the East Coast, take the Blue Line. It's a bit pricey, but it's an efficient way to tour, and it's safe, so I'm glad I took it every day. I definitely got my money's worth! By the way, during the first week of my stay, I used the trolley, and in the second week, I used the local bus. The trolley is a relaxed way to travel and is definitely fun!

陽気なドライバーさんが要所要所で英語で観光説明してくれます。街を見るならレッドライン。ローカルダイニングに行くならグリーンライン、ダイアモンドヘッドのクレーターや東海岸の景色
ならブルーライン。少しお値段は高いけど、効率良く観光できて、治安も安全なので、毎日これに乗って良かった。しっかりと元を取れましたよ！
ちなみに、滞在1週間目はトローリー、2週間目は地元のthe busを利用しました。トローリーは、気楽に旅できて、断然、楽しいです♪

I took the full course for four days. The driver was kind and cheerful, making for a very enjoyable sightseeing experience in Hawaii.

ドライバーさんも親切で陽気でとても楽しいハワイ観光をする事が出来ました。

The coupon pickup location is at the ticket booth for the trolley station on the north side of T Galleria Hawaii by DFS, but in reality, there was a cart on the sidewalk on the Royal Hawaiian Avenue side of the Waikiki Shopping Plaza.

クーポンの受取場所がTギャラリアハワイ by DFS北側トロリー乗り場チケットブースとなっていますが、実際にはワイキキ ショッピング プラザのロイヤルハワイアンアベニュー側の歩道にカートがありました。

Last time (December 2019), there were 10 routes, making it difficult to choose, but due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, there were only 4 routes available this time. However, it was exactly the route I wanted to see, so it was very helpful. I think the driver did a great job providing a lot of information in English. (I didn't understand the meaning very well, though...)

前回（2019年12月）は10路線もあり選ぶのが大変でしたが、まだコロナの影響で4路線しか有りませんでした。ですが、丁度見に行きたい所の路線でしたのでとっても助かりました。運転手さんが英語で沢山案内してくれてとても良かったと思っています。（英語の意味は良く分からなかったですが・・・）

There are four color-coded routes, with the pink route primarily providing hotel transfers to Ala Moana Shopping Center. This time, I used the red route for downtown and the green route for Diamond Head and a local snack restaurant. The driver provided very polite travel guidance and personalized service. Although it was in English, the Hawaiian accent made it a bit difficult for Japanese speakers to understand. Please note that except for the pink route, the other routes run once an hour, with the last departure from the starting point at 3 PM.

4色のコースがあり，頻繁にあるピンクは主にアラモアナショッピングセンターへのホテル送迎です。
今回レッドでダウンタウンをグリーンでダイアモンドヘッドと地元の軽食レストランを利用しました。ドライバーが大変丁寧な旅行案内と個別の対応をしてくれました。英語ですが，ハワイアンのアクセントがあり，日本人には少し聞き取りにくかったです。
ピンク以外は1時間に1本で午後3時までに最終が出発地点を出ますので，注意してください。

There are Red, Green, Pink, Blue, and Purple options, but due to the year-end or perhaps the impact of COVID-19, currently only Red, Pink, and Blue are available. It's a strange conversion method where instead of being valid for four consecutive days from ticket exchange, you can use four days within a one-week period. The three lines mentioned above can take you to classic tourist spots and shopping centers, so I think it's great for first-time visitors to Hawaii. The vehicle is always ventilated with the windows open, and both the driver and ticket staff were friendly and nice.

レッド・グリーン・ピンク・ブルー・パープルとありますが、年末のせいかコロナの影響か、現在使えるのはレッドとピンクとブルーのみです。不思議な換算方法で、チケット引き換えから連続4日間ではなく、1週間の期限の中で4日分使えるというシステムとのこと。上記3ラインはオーソドックスな観光地やショッピングセンターは回れるので、初ハワイの方には良いかと思います。車内は常に窓を開けて換気対策をしていますし、運転手の方やチケット担当の方はみなフレンドリーで良かったです。

Since I arranged my own flights and hotel, I couldn't ride on the so-called tour trolley.

However, I wanted to experience the trolley at least once, so I arranged this tour (ticket).

I thought it would be similar to a bus, but it was completely different. The Pink Line operates like a bus route that runs back and forth between Ala Moana and Waikiki, and it was convenient to use.

I rode the Green Line, Red Line, and Purple Line, but I only had a little time to get off. However, I was able to enjoy sightseeing from the window. I also enjoyed the driver's (guide's) entertaining stories.

航空券・ホテルと自己手配だったため、いわゆるツアーのトローリーに乗ることができませんでした。

ですが、一度はトローリーに乗ってみたいと思いこのツアー(チケット)を手配しました。

バスの代わり、くらいに考えていたのですが全然違いました。
ピンクラインはアラモアナ - ワイキキを往復するバスのような路線で、それはそれで便利に使えました。

グリーンライン・レッドライン・パープルラインに乗車しましたが、ほんの少しだけしか降りる時間がありませんが、車窓から十分に観光することができました。
ドライバー(ガイド)の楽しいお話も満喫できました。

On the first day of my arrival, since I couldn't predict the time, I opted for a trolley day pass instead of a time-specific tour to head to Diamond Head. The trolley made stops for about five minutes at scenic spots, allowing me to take some photos. I got off at Kahala Mall and enjoyed dining and shopping.

入国初日は時間が読めないため、時間指定のツアーにせずトロリー1日券でダイヤモンドヘッドへ向かいました。景色のいいところでは5分くらい停車してくれたので写真も撮れました。カハラモールで降りて食事とショッピングを楽しめました

It was great that I could ride the Purple Line and go all the way to Pearl Harbor. I found out that the one-day unlimited pass actually becomes valid for two days when I received it. Unfortunately, I had already planned to be almost nowhere near Waikiki on the second day, so I wish I had known that before my trip.

パープルラインも乗れて、パールハーバーまで行けたのが良かった。
１日乗り放題が２日間乗り放題になるようで、乗り放題パスの受け渡しの時に知った。２日目にはワイキキにほぼいない予定を組んでしまったので、渡航前に知っておきたかった。

It was very convenient! There were four lines available for unlimited rides, but since I didn't use them that much, it felt a bit expensive. However, I'm glad there was a trolley.

４つのラインが乗り放題でしたが、そんなに沢山は乗らなかったのでちょっと高いかなってところですね‼︎でもトロリーあってよかったです。

It was a very worthwhile pass that allowed us to go all the way to Diamond Head. The boarding area in the DFS basement was a bit hard to find, but we were able to get smooth assistance from the staff there.

ダイヤモンド・ヘッドの方まで周れてお得感の強いパスでした。DFS地下の乗り場が少し分かりにくかったのですが、その場にいた係の人に教えてもらえたのでスムーズに乗れました。

I had hardly used the Waikiki Trolley until now, but it was convenient not only for shopping but also for sightseeing (Red and Green Lines). I even took it for just a few blocks.

今までほとんど使わなかったワイキキトロリーですが，買い物だけでは無く，観光にも便利でした（レッド・グリーンライン）ほんの数ブロックのために乗ったりしました．

I purchased a four-day pass. The Pink Line (to Waikiki and Ala Moana) has frequent service, making it convenient, but the Red Line (to downtown) and Green Line (to Diamond Head) have less frequent service, with intervals of about 40 minutes. If you miss the timing, you may end up waiting for quite a long time. However, it covers almost all of Honolulu's attractions, so if you plan your activities in conjunction with the trolley schedule, I think you can visit many places and have a lot of fun. The drivers are cheerful and enjoyable as well.

４日間のパスを購入しました。ピンクライン（ワイキキやアラモアナ方面）は本数が多いので便利ですが、レッドライン（ダウンタウン方面）とグリーンライン（ダイアモンドヘッド方面）は本数が少なく運転間隔も４０分とかなので、ちょっとタイミングを外すとかなり長い間待つ結果となります。しかしホノルルの名所はほぼ網羅しているので、トロリーの時刻表と照らし合わせて計画的に行動すればかなりと沢山の所へ行けて楽しいと思います。ドライバーさんも陽気で楽しいです。

In Honolulu, it's inconvenient to get around without using the trolley bus. Since we are traveling independently without going through a major travel agency, we purchased this ticket because we couldn't use the travel agency's exclusive trolley bus. However, it turns out that the only lines where you need to show the ticket are the Red Line and Green Line. The Pink Line, which is heavily used, is free if you have a JCB card, so it seems that most people can board without any checks. I slightly regret that we might not have needed to buy the ticket after all.

ホノルルではトロリーバスを利用しないと移動が不便なため、大手旅行会社を通さず旅行している私達は旅行会社独自のトロリーバスを利用できないため、このチケットを購入しましたが、チケットを見せる必用があるのはレッドラインやグリーンラインくらいで、利用者が多いピンクラインはJCBカードがあれば無料なため、ほとんどの人が持っていると思われているのかチェックすらなしで乗車できていました。買わなくても良かったかなと少し後悔しました。

I used the four-day ticket again this year. Although the routes have changed, it was truly convenient. I was able to visit the long-awaited farmers' market and hike Diamond Head using just this trolley. Even though it's a four-day ticket, it can be used anytime during my stay, allowing for flexible use over the six days.

今年も４日間チケットで使いました。
路線が変わったりもしていますが、本当に重宝です。
念願のファーマーズマーケットやダイアモンドヘッド登山もこのトロリーだけで行く事が出来ました。
今年も４日チケットとはいえ滞在中の４日分いつでも使用可能なので６日間中不連続で使用できて使い勝手があります。

On the morning of August 3rd, around 8 AM, we went from in front of the Hyatt to Diamond Head. The driver's talk was excellent. I want to rate this as the best part of the trip. It was so much fun.

8月3日早朝8時代、ハイアット前からダイヤモンドヘッドに行きました。
ドライバーのトークが最高でした。
今回の旅行で一番をつけたいです。とても楽しかったです。

I had a great time riding, but I noticed that there were many more trolleys from Japanese travel agencies, which made me question the convenience. I also felt that the closing time was a bit early.

楽しく乗りましたが、日本の旅行代理店のトロリーの方が多く見かけ、利便性に疑問を持ちました。
終了時間も早い気がします。

This trolley not only allows you to get around the city but also takes you to Diamond Head and Kahala Mall, and I use it every year without fail. You can use it for four days on any day during your stay, and the ability to extend the days you don't use it adds to the value. Many of the drivers are entertaining, so you won't get bored.

このトロリーは、市内の移動だけでなくダイヤモンドヘッド観光やカハラモールまでいく事が出来、毎年必ず使っています。
滞在中のどの日でも4日間分使用でき、中日に使用しない日は延長でき使う日に使用できるのもお得感があります。
運転手も面白い方が多く飽きさせません。

When you think of classic transportation in Hawaii, the trolley comes to mind! The local staff at the ticket exchange, including the older gentleman, are sure to make you laugh, and all the trolley drivers are fun people! You'd be missing out if you don't ride it. They even take photos while stopped! It’s not just a means of getting around; you can explore the Waikiki area while listening to the enjoyable stories from the drivers. I will definitely participate again next time!

ハワイの定番乗り物と言えば、トロリーですよね！
現地スタッフ（チケット引き換え所）のおじいちゃん？も笑わせてくれるし、トロリーの運転手も楽しい人ばかり！乗らなきゃ損です。

移動だけの手段だけではなく、楽しい運転手の話しを聞きながらワイキキ周辺を探索出来ました。

This time, we used the trolley bus for my parents during our family trip. It was their second time in Hawaii, and they were very happy to finally ride the bus and enjoy it! Both of them got the senior discount, which was a good deal, but since they didn't ride it much over the four days, I thought it might have been better for me to pay the fare each time instead.

今回は、家族旅行にて父母の為にトロリーバスを利用しました。2回目のハワイで、ようやくバスにのり満喫できた！と大変喜んでいました。2人ともシニア料金でお得でしたが、1日でもあまり回数をならなく、4日間も乗らなかったので、私はその都度乗車料金を払うほうが…よかったかなと思いました。

The JTB trolley bus is good, but the four-day unlimited pass for this trolley bus was very convenient as you can choose the days you want to use it, even during a seven-day stay. The staff at the ticket booth were kind and considerate, even worrying about our final departure, which made it very reassuring for families. The trolley bus drivers were friendly and entertaining, and they prioritized safety, especially for children.

JTBのトロリーバスも良いですが、こちらのトロリーバスの４日間乗り放題は、使う日を選べ７日滞在でも使う日だけ４日間使え非常に便利でした。チケット売り場の方も最終の心配をしてくれたり、親切で家族でも安心して使う事ができました。トロリーバスの運転手さんも気さくで面白くしかも子どもに気遣い安全第一でした。

This was my first time in Hawaii, so I planned to get around using the trolley. The Pink Line comes about every 10 minutes, which was very convenient, but the Red and Green Lines only come every 35 minutes and don't always arrive on time, so I felt a bit of inconvenience. Next time, I plan to ride the Pink Line for free with my JCB card and buy a pass for The BUS to get around.

今回は初めてのハワイということで、トローリーで動き回る計画でプランニングしました。ピンクラインはだいたい10分おきにくるので、大変便利でしたが、レッドとグリーンは35分おきとはいえ時間通りにこないので、少し不便さを感じました。次回はJCBカードでピンクラインにタダで乗って、The　BUSのPassを買って動いてみようと思います。

I think it was especially valuable for us as a senior couple. We went through all the routes and were able to get on and off multiple times, which I believe was a great deal. I definitely think seniors should take advantage of this.

私達夫婦はシニアでの購入でしたから、特に価値あるものだったと思います。全ルートを回りましたし、何度も乗降を繰り返す事が出来て超お値打ちと思います。
シニアの方は絶対に利用すべきだと思います。

Did you know that there is a "Senior Discount" for the trolley? I have used the trolley many times, but this is the first time I learned about the discount. For our family trip, we only used it for my mother (72 years old), but of course, the savings went towards something "delicious." They didn't ask for any proof when exchanging tickets (just a visual check by the attendant).

I highly recommend the Blue Line! It feels amazing!

何度もトロリーを使っていましたが、今回初めて割引がある事を知りました
家族旅行で母（７２歳）一人分のみですが、浮いた分は勿論「美味しい」物に化けました
チケット交換時に証明するものの提示は求められませんでした（おばちゃんの目視のみ）

ブルーラインはお勧めですよ！！

I was told by a friend that it would be better to move by taxi, but after trying this trolley, which is not available in Japan, I can say it was refreshing and pleasant. I took the Blue Line to Hanauma Bay. I also frequently used the Pink Line for shopping.

友人からはタクシーで移動すればいいのでは？？と言われていましたが日本にはないこのトロリーという乗りものに乗ってみて思ったのは開放感があり気持ちいいの一言です。ブルーラインでハナウマ湾まで行ってきました。あとお買い物にピンクラインをよく利用しました。

I enjoyed the East Coast, including Hanauma Bay, by taking the Blue Line at the end of the year. It was not crowded, and it was great to experience the unique buses of Hawaii.

年末にブルーラインにのってハナウマ湾など東海岸を楽しみました。空いていたしハワイ独特のバスでよかったですよ。
