I was anxious because I had small children with me, but from the very first pick-up, the driver was so cheerful and engaging that my two sons seemed to feel at ease.

The boat sways a bit since it's offshore, so I think it's better to have motion sickness medication if you're feeling uneasy, even as an adult.

It was the highest at 150 meters, but the view was amazing.

If you want to take photos with your phone, I recommend a waterproof type that you can hang around your neck.

It was an experience that I wouldn't normally have, and it was a memorable experience for my sons as well!

I'm not good with thrill rides like roller coasters, but this one was not scary at all. It was so much fun to see the beautiful blue sky and ocean, enjoying the scenery of Hawaii from above. When the wind picked up, it felt a bit floaty, but it was within a comfortable range.

The height of 150 meters is equivalent to about the 40th floor of a building, so I was a bit anxious, but it didn't feel that high. I think the length of the rope is 150 meters.

I'm really glad I did this. It became a wonderful memory.

I booked a 150m parasailing experience with my husband. It was high and a bit scary, but more than that, we were able to enjoy the wonderful views and the thrill of the attraction. We had a 9 AM reservation and were picked up at our hotel at 8:30 AM (right on time), and we boarded the boat at the port with hardly any wait. Besides us, there were three Japanese girls, a French couple, and one American man, making a total of four groups. We took turns flying and returned to the port around 10 AM.

They took many photos for $30. I usually don’t order paid photos while traveling, but this time I decided to because they captured angles I couldn’t get myself. My husband brought a GoPro, so we were able to get some immersive footage from the air. If you have one, I recommend bringing it, but be careful not to drop it.

This optional tour isn’t necessarily cheap when you consider the time, but on the other hand, it wraps up in half a day, making it easy to incorporate a fun experience into your trip. When I went to Hawaii last time, I did the Heaven's Sea Tour (sandbar), but thinking about how you might not get the satisfaction you want unless you go at the best timing, like during low tide, I highly recommend parasailing.

このオプショナルツアーは時間換算すると決して安いものではありませんが、逆に半日で終わるので楽しい体験を気軽に旅行に組み込めるのでとてもいいと思います。前回ハワイに行ったときに天国の海ツアー（サンドバー）に行きましたが、干潮など時期的にベストタイミングで行かないと思うような満足感が得られないことを思うとパラセイリングはとてもおすすめです。

We participated as a family of four: a couple in their early 30s and their parents in their late 50s and 60s. The shop is located on the Diamond Head side, within walking distance from the main hotels in Waikiki, but since we weren't sure about the distance until we actually went to Waikiki, we opted for the shuttle service. We rented rash guards and aqua shoes at the shop. It was a group lesson, but during our time slot, there were only five of us: our family and one other Korean woman in her 30s, with two staff members assisting us. We learned how to ride the waves while watching a video in the shop. After that, we moved to the beach and practiced the motions of riding the waves on the sand multiple times together. Then it was time to hit the ocean! Paddling was really tough, but both my mother and I managed to get out. The waves in Waikiki in March were quite gentle, suitable for beginners. In the summer, the waves get bigger, so it's advised not to go too far out. Because the waves were calm, it seemed impossible to ride them without paddling strongly, and when the waves came, the staff would give us a push. That helped us catch the waves! My husband and I were able to stand on the board for about five times, quite long. My mother, in her late 50s, also tried to stand several times and fell off the board, but she managed to stand for two longer periods and seemed to have a lot of fun! I wore contact lenses, and there were no issues at all. About ten years ago, I tried surfing a little at Kujukuri in Chiba, and I felt it was very painful to fall into the sea there because it was so beautiful, but here, it was not painful at all. I participated in the morning session and chose the 90m option. There were three groups, including us, totaling seven people. The "m" likely refers to the length of the rope, and at 90m, it felt like there was no slack in the rope, making it rise quite high. The 150m option seemed to have a bit of slack, so it didn't look like it was going as high. If it's your first time, I think the 90m option is sufficient since the price is also lower.

It would be nice to have a waterproof phone case that you can hang around your neck to take photos from above. I'm worried about dropping a selfie stick. I wasn't sure about the tipping standard, so I gave $20 each to the two instructors, but it seems that wasn't necessary. They took about 112 photos for us. You can decide whether to purchase them after looking at the photos.

首から下げれる防水のスマホケースがあれば上からも写真が撮れていいと思います。自撮り棒は落としそうで怖いです。
