I returned home yesterday! I had tried surfing once in Japan a long time ago, but I was worried about whether I could ride properly since it had been quite a while. However, I was able to catch a wave safely on my second try! My friend who came with me was a beginner, but they managed to stand up and seemed to get hooked right away. It was a two-hour session, so by the end, my shoulders were really sore, but I had a lot of fun.

Since there were only four of us, it felt almost like a private lesson, and the instructor taught us in such detail that I was able to ride most of the waves.

I was told, "You're already a surf girl!" and I got a bit carried away with that, so I'm simply thinking about starting surfing seriously in Japan as well. The instructor was really entertaining, and the two hours flew by!!!

昨日、帰って来ました！
サーフィンは日本で一度やったことがありましたが、
かなり昔のことだったのでちゃんと乗れるか不安でした。
けど、２回目の波で無事乗ることができました！
一緒にいった友達は初めてだったのですが、
無事立て、早くもはまってしまったようです。
２時間だったので、最後のほうは肩がぱんぱんになってしまったけど
とても楽しくできました。
人数も４人だけだったので、ほぼ個人と変わらないのでは？と思ってしまうくらい
細かく教えてくれたので、ほとんどの波に乗れることができました。

君はもうサーフガールだよ！と言われたり、ちょっと調子に乗っちゃうことを
言われたので、本格的に日本でも始めようかと単純ながら思ってます。
先生もとても面白くて、あっという間の２時間でした！！！

This time we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. It was my second time in Hawaii and my second time parasailing. I had so much fun that I wanted to enjoy it with my partner, so I decided to participate.

What we tried this time was the deluxe option. It said it was equivalent to the height of a 40-story building, which made me a little nervous, but since we ascended slowly, it wasn't scary at all. Before I knew it, we were at the top. The view of the ocean from up there was incredibly beautiful. Plus, we were able to see the scenery side by side, which made it even more special to share that moment together. We also took a commemorative photo at the top.

It became a wonderful memory.

今回は新婚旅行へハワイへ。
私はハワイ２度目でパラセイルも２度目。とても楽しかったのでぜひカレと一緒に楽しみたいと思い参加しました。
今回私たちが挑戦したのはデラックス。「ビルの高さ４０階相当」と書いてあったのでちょっとドキドキだったのですが、ゆっくり上昇するのでまったく怖くありませんでした。気がついたらてっぺんにいる、みたいな。てっぺんから見下ろす海は最高にキレイでした。おまけに横並びで景色を見る事ができたので、一緒に感動できた事が何よりもよかったと思います。そしててっぺんで二人で記念撮影。
とってもいい思い出になりました。

This was my first time surfing, and I was worried about whether I could stand up after just a brief explanation on the beach, but I managed to stand up on my second try. The instructor helped me catch the waves at the right moment. I think everyone in the group was able to stand on their boards. Although I thought there would be a large number of participants in the group lesson, there were only six of us, and with three instructors, it felt almost like a semi-private lesson, which was more than enough. I challenged myself to surfing, which my husband was eager to try. Since it mentioned that beginners were welcome, we participated as two beginners. The instructions were also provided in Japanese, which made it easy to understand.

I was able to stand up on my first try right away. My husband took a bit longer to grasp the technique. By the end of the lesson, we were both able to stand up side by side. The two-hour lesson flew by and was simply enjoyable.

However, there were only a few photos of my husband surfing, which was disappointing for him. I think it was because the photo-taking time was shorter than the lesson. He also regrets not standing up earlier. Nevertheless, he was very satisfied and said it was a lot of fun, and he intends to try again.

I participated with my sixth-grade daughter. This was my second time, but it was her first. She was nervous until she took off, but after that, she was overjoyed. If you're going to participate, I recommend the Extreme, where you can fly high. If the weather is nice, you can enjoy a wonderful view. I've attached a photo from the sky, so please take a look! The true beauty can't be conveyed in the photo, so definitely give it a try.

私は２度目でしたが娘は初めての参加。
飛ぶまでは娘も緊張していましたが、飛んでからは大喜びでした。

Actually, it said to wear a swimsuit, but since we were just flying in the air, I thought we wouldn't get wet. So, I only changed my bottom and went for it. The staff were nice guys, and I wanted to take a photo with them, but since they couldn't speak English, I sadly gave up. The explanations were clear in Japanese here and there. The first couple took off, and I thought they went pretty high up, then the boat slowed down and they descended slowly. Splash into the sea!!! Whoa, I didn't hear about that!

They went back up, and it was our turn next. However, since we were with a child, we gently splashed down. Other couples were soaked up to their heads. My mother, who was with us, said, "You're flying much longer than those doing parasailing next to us." I see, it was the right choice to pick this. They took photos for $15, but they handed them to us on film, which surprised me a bit. It became a very fun memory.

We participated in the 10:00 session on August 15th with our family of four (two children). The pickup arrived almost on time, and the shuttle with the blue submarine pattern, as listed on the Atlantis website, was there. Perhaps because it was a Japanese group, the staff member in a sailor-like uniform spoke fluent Japanese. After handing over the voucher, we headed to the Hilton pier. After a group photo (one photo for $20), we boarded the shuttle boat. It was quite rocky, and some people seemed to get seasick, but our family was all energetic, enjoying the view of the sea from the second deck when a staff member took our picture.

Since there were many participants, three submarines were waiting offshore. First, those with yellow tickets transferred to the submarine. Our red tickets were for the second submarine, which was fully booked with 48 seats. The guide was very good at Japanese and explained everything while incorporating jokes. We saw sea turtles and spent 40 minutes peering through the round windows at many fish without getting bored. Especially since we were the last to transfer from the shuttle to the submarine, we got to sit in the front seat right behind the control room, allowing us to see the cockpit, and the guide took pictures of us inside the submarine. ピックアップはほぼ時間通りに、アトランティスのＨＰにも載っている青いサブマリンの模様のシャトルが到着。日本人の回だったためか、アトランティスのセーラーのような制服を着たスタッフさんは日本語ペラペラ。バウチャーを渡して、いざヒルトンの桟橋へ。グループ毎の記念撮影（１枚＄２０です）の後、シャトルボートに乗船。結構揺れるので酔っている人もいらした様ですが、我が家はみんな元気に２階のデッキで海を眺めていると、スタッフのお兄さんが写真を撮ってくださいました。
参加者が多かったので、沖には３隻のサブマリンがスタンバイ。まず、黄色チケットの方からサブマリンに横付けして乗り換えです。我が家の赤チケットは２隻目、４８席満席でした。ガイドのおじさんは日本語がお上手で、冗談も取り入れながら、説明してくださいました。海がめも見れたし、たくさんの魚達に４０分間飽きることなく丸い窓をのぞきこんでいました。特に、シャトルからサブマリンへの乗換えが一番最後だったので、操縦席のすぐ後ろの１番前の席に座れたので、操縦席も見れたし、ガイドの方に艦内で写真を撮ってもらったりもして、とても楽しい４０分間でした。

Since I was in Hawaii, I thought I should try some water sports, so I participated. I actually wanted to go on a banana boat, but choosing parasailing turned out to be a great decision. せっかくハワイにきたのだから何かマリンスポーツをと思い参加。ほんとはバナナボートがやりたかったのですが､パラセイリングを選んで大正解でした。夫婦と小３と年中の兄弟家族4人で初挑戦。当日は外国人カップル3組と計10人で乗船。沖に出るまでもちょっとしたボートセイリングが楽しめました。下の子がやりたくないと言わないようにトップで飛びたかったのですが､不幸にもラストフライト。でもそんな心配はどこへやら。逆に他の人が飛んでいるのを見て気分も最高潮。結局夫婦2人が横並び子供2人が私たちの前に重なる形で家族4人で鳥になりました。空からワイキキのホテル群､ダイヤモンドヘッドが一望でき、あれが泊まっているホテルだねとか、昨日行ったハナウマベイはあのあたりかななど、お話する余裕もあり、恐怖感などまったくありませんでした。飛び立つときも着地の時も全く水にはぬれず5歳児でも十分参加できるツアーでかなりおすすめです。是非今度ハワイに行った際はもっと高度なフライトを体験したいです。

On August 15th, my family of five experienced this together. It was the first time for our three children, but everyone was extremely satisfied with the sky swimming experience. Since there were five of us, I thought someone would have to be alone, but surprisingly, I (the mother) was able to ride with my 15-year-old and 9-year-old children.

Our family took our first submarine trip together. The kids, who had never seen the ocean floor before, were so excited! Our guide was Japanese and provided clear explanations, so I highly recommend it. I read in a review that if you sit in the back of the submarine, you can get a seat in the very front, so we did just that. We were able to sit right behind the cockpit and had a great view through the large front window. According to the kids, they also saw 14 sea turtles!

親子ともども初めての潜水艦。海底を見たことのない子供達は大はしゃぎ！１０時の日本人ガイドさんだったので説明もわかりやすくオススメです。書き込みに「潜水艦に最後に乗ると一番前に座れる」とあったので、そのとおりに実行。操縦席の真後ろに座れて先頭の大きな窓からもよく見えて最高でした。子供達によると海亀１４匹も見れたそうです。

I participated with my mother. There weren't any other people over 60 like my mother, and she was worried until we took off, but once we were in the air, it felt even better than we expected! There was no turbulence, and we could see far into the distance, which made my mother happy. There were no other Japanese participants, and the staff were locals, but they tried their best to communicate with us in broken Japanese and even checked on my mother, who felt a bit seasick on the way back. We were at the lowest height, but it still felt quite high. It was very interesting. They take photos for a fee, which is a bit pricey at $15, but they took a lot of pictures, so I was satisfied. They gave us the film, so we were able to develop it the same day and show it to everyone.

母のように60歳を過ぎた年の人はおらず、飛ぶまで母は心配していましたが、いざ飛んでみると上空は思っていた以上の気持ち良さ！揺れたりしないし、遠くまで見渡せて母も喜んでいました。
参加者に他に日本人はおらず、スタッフも現地の方でしたが、片言の日本語で、一生懸命話しかけて下さり、帰りに少し船酔いした母を気遣ってもくれていました。
一番低い高さでしたが、それでもずいぶん高く感じましたよ。

有料で写真をとってくれるのですが、15ドルと高めですが、いっぱい撮ってくれたのでわたしは納得しています。フィルムごとくれるので、その日のうちに現像して、みんなに見せることができましたよ。

I had heard rumors about it, but the boat ride out to sea is quite bumpy, so it's better not to eat right before. There was an American woman who looked like she was in a "salted greens" state. I think this ride might be a bit hard for children under elementary school age. However, the view from offshore Waikiki is amazing, so I definitely encourage you to be in good shape and give it a try. Bringing your own camera or video for filming is not allowed (or rather, it's difficult due to the rocking), but if you ask, they will film one roll for $15 and give it to you at the end. This will be a nice keepsake!

今年はﾊﾜｲはいつもより風の強い日が多いような気がしましたが、参加当日は幸いにも早朝から穏やかで眠い目をこすりながらﾌｧﾐﾘｰ5人（私、妻、子供8歳、3歳、母）で参加しました。ﾊﾟﾗｾｰﾙに参加した経験があるのは妻だけでしたので初めはどんなことになるだろうか緊張をしていましたが、ｽﾀｯﾌの方の親切な対応とﾕｰﾓｱで和み自分達の順番まであっという間になり風を切って大空へ舞い上がりました。海上高くから見たﾎﾉﾙﾙの町並みとﾀﾞｲｱﾓﾝﾄﾞﾍｯﾄﾞの眺めは素晴らしく印象に強く残りました。また、ﾊﾟﾗｾｲﾙをしている写真を撮ってもらえるので記念に購入をしました。特に母は今年63歳であり「最初で最期のいい思い出になった」と喜んでいました。しかし、次の日に肩が痛いということであり緊張してﾊﾟﾗｿﾛのﾛｰﾌﾟを渾身の力で握り締めていたようです。また、子供達が大きくなったらｽﾀﾝﾀﾞｰﾄﾞではなくもっと上空高くあがれる方に参加したいと思います。

We experienced parasailing for the first time as a family of four, with a standard course of about 150 meters, which was more than enough for beginners. My wife and our two children (ages 6 and 9) loved it; it was thrilling, refreshing, and offered a fantastic view of Waikiki from above. I highly recommend this tour. The kids were so excited, saying they wanted to do it again and would definitely participate next time! Seeing their joy made me promise the whole family that we would join again. In our case, we were picked up around 10:30, took turns boarding the boat, and each group experienced about 15 minutes. Our family went up together into the bright blue sky, and we were dropped off at the hotel around 12:30.

I definitely encourage you to give it a try!

The instructor allows us to try multiple times, so if you have motivation and concentration, everyone will be able to stand on the surfboard. My parents participated. Since they didn't even bring swimsuits to Hawaii, they were very satisfied to see sea turtles, sharks, and tropical fish up close without getting wet. Joining was definitely the right choice! First of all, we were blessed with great weather and sea conditions. The visibility was excellent♪ We saw turtles, unique Hawaiian fish, and corals… The guide was also very good at explaining things, making it feel like a perfect opportunity for my son's science project.

If I had to mention something, it doesn't matter what order you board the boat to the submarine, but if you board the submarine last, you'll get to sit in the front row facing the direction of travel… you can really feel like a pilot☆

It was amazing! We decided to go for the extreme ride with the mindset of going higher. I wouldn't recommend it for those with a fear of heights, but if you're okay with it, the extreme option is definitely the way to go! They took us up so high that we were at the same level or even above the top of Diamond Head. It was just the best. But when I looked down, the boats looked like tiny dots. I was a bit scared, but I'm glad I did it. I really felt like a bird, and I think it's very romantic for couples.

The boat ride was also fun, and the staff took lots of pictures, so it became a great memory. It's close to Waikiki, so I highly recommend it!

I made a reservation for the 9 AM tour and boarded a dedicated trolley at the bus stop in front of the hotel to head to the dock at Hilton Hawaiian Village. Once on the shuttle boat to the submarine, it was quite rocky, possibly due to the waves. After about 10 minutes, we arrived at the offshore submarine docking point, and passengers were divided among three submarines. Since we couldn't board each submarine directly, those boarding the third submarine had to wait nearly 30 minutes after leaving the port. On the way back, it was the reverse; passengers from the first submarine had to stay on the shuttle boat until the other two submarines surfaced and picked up their passengers, so it took longer than expected. Additionally, the shuttle boat swayed much more once we were offshore compared to when we were in the harbor, so those prone to seasickness should definitely take motion sickness medication. While I've mentioned some downsides, the experience after boarding the submarine and diving was absolutely amazing. The world visible through the windows was unlike anything I had ever seen, and even I, who usually hardly takes photos, found myself continuously pressing the shutter. Furthermore, the guide on my submarine provided explanations in Japanese, filled with jokes and lessons about the ocean, making the time fly by. While there is a risk of seasickness, I believe the rewards far outweigh it. I highly recommend it!!

I was a complete beginner, but he was experienced, so we borrowed a regular longboard (since the waves were small, a shortboard wouldn’t work) and he was riding the waves freely. Since I was in Hawaii, I thought I would try surfing. I didn't really know much about boards, so I wasn't expecting to stand up right away, but I managed to do it early on. I got a strange desire and thought, "I might get hooked on this!" I believe that the beginning is crucial for anything, so I felt that it would be good to grasp the basics and the feeling in a setting like this to level up. The staff members were kind, friendly, and worked hard, which made me feel at ease. It was fun, and the time flew by, but it was a very fulfilling two hours.

On March 26, I participated with my family of six. The pickup was in front of the hotel, and our guide was very interesting, which made the trip to the boarding area enjoyable. The weather in Hawaii had been bad lately, and it was raining heavily on the day of our participation. 海にもぐってしまうと揺れはまったく感じず、アトランティス社による人口漁礁を何箇所かまわるたびに、めずらしい魚がたくさん見られて、子どもも大人も窓の外に釘付けでした。最初にいただいたパンフレットにそれらの魚の解説が簡単にでていたのもよかったです。潜水艦は日本語の解説で、「めったにみられないエイがいましたね」とか「ほらほら、カメが眠っていますよ」などと臨場感たっぷりの説明だったので、とても楽しめました。
雨が結構降っていたので私たち家族はアラモアナのほうへは行かず直接ホテルへ送っていただいたのですが、帰りのバスの運転手さん（女性でした）もとても感じがよくて気持ちがよかったです。
子ども無料プログラムで参加させていただいたにもかかわらず子どももチケットやパンフレットをちゃんともらい、席もしっかり確保していただいていましたので、アランさんで予約してよかったと思います。
