I was quite anxious about participating alone as a woman and my limited English skills, but surfing in Hawaii was something I had wanted to do for three years, so I decided to go for it!

To my surprise, I heard a lot of Japanese being spoken here and there! There were people who chatted with me and created a fun atmosphere, and the person in charge, who was American, also used some broken Japanese like "more forward." The only activity on this trip made me a bit nervous, but the person who picked us up was very cheerful, which helped me relax! The crew didn't speak Japanese, but since I didn't want to get wet, I communicated in English not to drop me in the water, and they asked, "No Japan?" They really made sure I landed safely on the boat without dropping me. There might be a little splash, but my swimsuit didn't get wet at all, so I was able to go home dry. They took 66 photos while we were flying, and they were all angles I couldn't have captured myself. I thought I should have bought a GoPro, but the photos turned out to be wonderful memories. I had so much fun that I want to fly about three more times!

クルーの方は日本語が通じませんが、水に濡れたくなかったわたしは英語で水に落とさないでと伝えたら「ノージャポン？」って聞いてくれてほんとに落とさずにしっかりと船の上に着地させてくれました。
水しぶきで少し濡れることはありますが、着用していた水着は全く濡れることなく帰れました。
飛んでいる間の写真を66枚も撮影して頂き、自分では撮れないアングルの写真ばかりでGoProを買えばよかったなと思っていたのですが十分満足な思い出に残る写真となりました。
あと3回くらい飛びたいなと思うくらい楽しかったです！

It was our first time in Hawaii for our honeymoon and our first experience with parasailing. We were quite anxious when our pickup didn't arrive even after the scheduled time, but we waited patiently, and eventually, they came 17 minutes late. (It seemed that everyone else except us was a foreign guest, and they probably weren't at the meeting point on time.)

Neither the driver nor the staff at the parasailing check-in spoke much Japanese, so we struggled a bit with our zero English skills, but the boat staff spoke a little Japanese and were friendly.

I thought they would take photos for us and we could buy the data later, but if I hadn't said anything, we wouldn't have had any photos taken. So, if you want pictures, it's better to confirm in advance.

The parasailing itself was very stable and not scary at all! It was a luxurious time where we could see the city and beach of Waikiki and Diamond Head all at once. The boat captain was a young man who successfully fulfilled our request for a "little splashdown," and he was skilled! Another male staff member was also very pleasant.

It probably depends on the sea conditions, but I didn't mind the boat's rocking at all, and I enjoyed the view from the boat during the waiting time. This is an activity I would love to experience again.

写真撮影は、勝手にしてくれて後でお金を払えばデータが買えると思っていて、特に何も言わなかったら 撮影してもらえてなかったので 写真が欲しい方は 事前に確認したほうが良いです。
パラセーリング 自体は、とても安定感があって全く怖くなかったです！ワイキキの街やビーチ、ダイヤモンドヘッドを一望できる、贅沢な時間でした♪
ボートのキャプテンは若い男性でしたが 「少しだけ着水」を見事希望通り叶えてくれましたし、上手でしたよ！もう一人の男性スタッフも感じ良かったです。
海のコンディションによるんでしょうが、ボートの揺れも気にならず、待機時間も船上からの眺めを満喫できて楽しかったです。
また体験したいアクティビティです。

The dancers' movements were sophisticated, and I was so captivated by the final fire dancer that I forgot to breathe.

The view is amazing. I participated with a digital camera in hand, and although I had a foot strap, the camera was fine. It seems you can choose between no strap, waist, or foot options. When I said "a little," it was about the foot strap. Quite a few people were paragliding while holding their smartphones around their necks or selfie sticks. They won't take responsibility if you fall, though.

We flew in the morning, and the weather was wonderful. We were able to return to Ohana Waikiki Malia Hotel by 9:30.

A couple from California who rode with us joked, "Terrace House?" I couldn't respond well and just laughed. I guess it's famous because Netflix is airing Terrace House.

Perhaps due to the large number of attendees, the weather was not particularly bad, but the event was held in an indoor facility adjacent to the outdoor venue. However, the indoor space was equipped with better lighting and facilities, which made the show even more enjoyable than it might have been outdoors.

Additionally, the fire dance was performed in a small courtyard area just outside the indoor venue. We were able to stand up from our seats and surround the performers, allowing us to see them up close and truly enjoy the experience.

The captain seemed to have a great vibe and made us feel at ease. I chose the 90-meter option, but I think height didn't matter. I wasn't asked beforehand if I wanted the 90 meters, though.

I liked that it was easy to find the location since it was near Hilton, and the travel time was minimal. I was worried that traveling by boat might make me feel sick, but it was not a problem at all. The staff spoke only English, but they were very considerate, making it easy for beginners, and they entertained us with some broken Japanese. We started at 9:00 with six participants, and there were three other groups with two participants each, but everything went smoothly, allowing us to enjoy the other activities. Some tours can take up a lot of time just for travel, so I plan to sign up for this tour again next time.

It was a course without Japanese guidance (although it seems there is Japanese guidance available through headphones, which I didn't use), but I understand enough English, so it wasn't a problem. Everyone else was foreign, and I was a bit fed up with the number of Japanese people in downtown Honolulu, so it was nice. There was a sense of universality when the Canadian child next to me asked, "Where's Nemo?" Seeing the submarine surface near the boat was exciting. I enjoyed seeing beautiful fish, rays, and turtles (it would have been even better if sharks had appeared), and it was my first experience diving into the ocean from a submarine, which was interesting. It was a smaller submarine with small windows, but I think it was sufficient.

沖で船の近くに潜水艦が浮かんでくる様子はウキウキしました。
きれいな魚やエイやカメがみられて楽しかったですし（サメでも出て来たらもっと良かったけど）、潜水艦で海に潜るという体験が初めてのことで面白かったです。
窓の小さい方の潜水艦でしたが十分だと思います。

This is my second year taking on the challenge. Last year, I had a photo with my wife, but this year I planned to attempt the 150 meters alone. However, since solo flights weren't allowed, it turned into a 150-meter trial with three people.

Once we were in the air, it was truly high. I could see the Hilton skyscraper and Diamond Head at the same eye level.

Next year, I definitely want to come with my family and let the kids take on the challenge.

Since I applied on my home computer just before departure, I left without confirming the pickup location and time, which made me really anxious about whether I could participate. Just to be safe, after arriving in Hawaii, I called the local contact number and checked my page to confirm the location and other details. 出発間際に自宅のパソコンで申し込んだため，ピックアップ場所と時間の確定を待たずの出国となり，本当に参加が出来るか不安でした。念のため，ハワイ到着後に現地の連絡場所へ電話したり，マイページで確認して場所等を確認しました。現地の連絡先へ電話すると日本語は通じず何を言われているかほとんど分かりませんでしたが，すぐに日本語の通じる方から電話があり，安心して参加が出来ました。ボートへは外国の方が３組と日本の方が私達家族を含めて２組の12名で乗船しました。息子と三人で飛びました。遠くに見えるダイヤモンドヘッドや上空から見る青い海はとてもきれいでした。私はあまり怖いと思いませんでしたが，息子は怖かったようで両手を放す事が出来ずにスマホで写真が撮れていませんでした。（写真は３０ドルでデータの入ったCDカードの販売が希望者へあります）ボートの後部から空へ飛び，海に腰まで海水へ浸からせそして後部で着陸する操船テクはさすがでした。参加時に持って行った方がいい物は最低限であれば水着，現金かカード，飛ぶ時は脱ぐがサンダルで，あれば良いものはTシャツ等の上着，タオル，サングラスくらいです。

I participated in the 150m event.
I was impressed by the beautiful sea and the view of Waikiki.
The shuttle driver was humorous, and even if you're not confident in your English, you can still enjoy the tour.
I thought it might be a bit dull to take our own photos, so I declined the suggestion for a photoshoot.
