Thank you very much for kindly instructing my family, who had the selfish desire to surf starting from New Year's Day. A long time ago, when I came to Hawaii, the lively sight of people surfing left a lasting impression on me, and I had always wanted to try surfing the next time I visited Hawaii. This time, it became a reality and a challenge after turning sixty, but I was able to experience it with my family.

The instructor was very kind and explained everything clearly. Although it was a short time, everyone managed to get on the board and even ride some waves, making us feel like we had joined the ranks of surfers. This activity became a precious page in the memories of our trip to Hawaii. I am grateful for the wonderful encounter with the instructor. Surfing is the best!

元旦からサーフィンをしたいというわがままな家族に大変親切に指導していただきありがとうございました。
だいぶ以前にハワイに来た時に、サーフィンをやっている人の海に入っていく時の生き生きとした姿が目に焼き付いており、次にハワイ来たときは絶対にサーフィンをやってみたいと思っていました。今回、還暦を過ぎての実現、挑戦となってしまいましたが、家族と一緒に体験させていただきました。
インストラクターの方はとても親切で教え方もわかりやすく、短時間でしたが、皆、何とか板の上にも乗ることができ、形なりにも波にも乗ることができて、サーファーの仲間入りしたような気分にさせていただきました。
このアクティビティはハワイの旅の貴重な思い出の一ページになりました。
素晴らしいインストラクターとの出会いに感謝いたします。サーフィン最高。

When you go to the reception at check-in time, you are first seated at a long table outside. The spacing between the chairs is a bit tight, so it feels like you're crammed in among strangers.

You receive a complimentary welcome drink, along with two free drink vouchers (you can choose whether they include alcohol). The meals are served buffet-style, and there were also some light entertainment during the meal. The taste was average, but the drinks (cocktails) were delicious.

Before long, we were guided inside the venue to watch the show, and finally, it was time for the Hawaiian show.

It started with hula dancing, followed by impersonations of Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross, and there was also a fire dance. The quality of the show was high, and I really enjoyed it.

チェックインタイムに受け付けに行くと、まず外にある長いテーブルに座らされます。椅子の間隔がやや狭いので、知らない人の中に詰め込まれる感じです。

無料のウェルカムドリンク、それとは別にドリンク２杯の無料券がもらえます(アルコール有無が選択できる)。
食事はビッフェ形式で、食事中もちょっとした余興がありました。お味は普通かな。飲み物(カクテル)は、美味しかったです。

そうこうしているうちに、ショーを見るために館内へ入るように案内され、いよいよハワイアンショーです。

フラダンスに始まり、エルビス・プレスリー、マイケル・ジャクソン、ダイアナ・ロスのそっくりさんショーがあり、ファイアーダンスもありました。ショーの完成度は高く楽しめました。

It's a place you can easily reach on foot from the hotel, so I decided to go. The staff on the boat were very pleasant, and I thought they were skilled at operating the vessel. I chose the 150m parasailing option, and there was absolutely no fear; it was exhilarating, the view was amazing, and I even saw whales. I highly recommend this option. I had someone on the boat take photos with my smartphone, so I didn't have to pay a high fee for pictures.

Excellent hotel to crater service. Adam was courteous and knowledgeable.

Had a great time, hailey was amazing and so was her first hand. Got to see some really pretty fish and caught a couple ourselves.

Michael Jackson was terrible.
He was overweight, danced poorly, and lip-synced.
I wonder what he was trying to do—was there a lack of talent?
There was no emotion or satisfaction.

It was a wonderful show.
The performance was amazing, and of course, the singing and dancing were top-notch.
It was a fusion of hula and rock.

Due to the impact of COVID-19, there are fewer optional tours that offer transportation, so I chose this one because I could walk to the meeting point, and I'm glad I did. The boat ride out to sea was pleasant, making for a comfortable time even while other participants were flying. After the tour, they will transfer the photos to your smartphone for a fee, and they also provide an SD card.

コロナの影響か、オプショナルツアの送迎があるものが少ないなか、徒歩で集合場所に行けるという理由で選択しましたが、選んでよかったと思います。沖に出るボートも気持ちよく乗れるので、他の参加者が飛んでる間も心地よい時間でした。
参加後、写真も有料ですがスマホに入れてくれます。併せてSDカードも渡してくれます。

I've always wanted to try surfing. On the first day of our arrival in Hawaii, I took advantage of the time before check-in to have my first challenge with my son. We received a brief explanation on the beach, and although we were filled with anxiety, both my son and I quickly learned to ride the waves. Since there was one instructor for the two of us, we repeatedly rode the waves and returned to the shore, and the one-hour course was more than enough for us. In fact, anything longer would have been physically challenging. I was worried about bumping into others at the crowded Waikiki Beach, but the area further out was relatively less crowded, so it wasn't a problem. It became a memorable experience of surfing in Hawaii!

以前からやってみたかったサーフィン。ハワイ到着初日、チェックインまでの時間を利用して、息子と初チャレンジしました。砂浜で簡単な説明だけを受け、不安だらけでしたが、自分も息子もすぐに波に乗れるようになりました。インストラクター1人に対して、自分と息子の2人でしたので、波に乗っては冲まで戻るを繰り返し、1時間のコースで十分満足でした。むしろ、それ以上は体力的に無理でした。人が多いワイキキビーチで、他人にぶつかったりしないか心配でしたが、沖の方は比較的人が少なく、問題ありませんでした。ハワイでサーフィンをした！という思い出作りになりました。

First, we filled our stomachs at the buffet, then moved on to the hall where the showtime began. Although Michael was a bit small and chubby, he was impressive with his dancing and singing.

最初にビュッフェでお腹を満たして、移動し、ホールでショータイムが始まります。
ちょっと、小さくてぽっちゃりのマイケルだったけど、踊りも歌もうまくて感動しました。

There were staff who spoke Japanese, and it was very comfortable. The boat ride to the dive site was almost smooth and refreshing. There was plenty of time for diving, and we were able to see a sunken ship, sea turtles, and divers. There weren't that many fish, but I'm glad I went.

日本語の話せるスタッフもいて、居心地が良かった。ポイントまでの船もほぼ揺れず爽快。潜水時間もたっぷりで、沈没船や海亀やダイバーが見られた。魚はそんなにたくさんいなかったが、行って良かった。

I booked the first session of the day.

I had heard experiences that it could be cold inside the submarine, so I brought a jacket. In the end, it wasn't as cold as I expected. If you're sensitive to cold, it's better to bring one just in case.

All the explanations were in English. I didn't understand much, but just looking at the underwater scenery was enjoyable, so I’ll take it as a positive.

There were a lot of fish, but I didn't see any sea turtles. They explained the types of fish and the ship and airplane wrecks on the seabed, but I didn't understand most of it. It might be more interesting if you research the sunken ships and types of fish in the waters around Waikiki beforehand. There were also a few divers, and when I waved to them from inside the submarine, they waved back and said, "Aloha!"

The boat ride from the pier to the submarine was quite windy, so a jacket is necessary for that part. (If you can't stand the cold, you can stay indoors...) The view of Waikiki Beach from the water was also enjoyable.

Before boarding, we took group photos, and on the return boat, they encouraged us to purchase the photos. Caught up in the excitement of seeing the underwater world, I bought them without asking the price (I think payment was credit card only?). Later, when I checked the receipt, it was about $48. After purchasing, I received instructions for downloading the photos, but when I tried to download them, it turned out it wasn't free and cost about $12 instead. ^^

朝一番の回を申し込みました。

潜水艦の中は寒いなどとの体験談がありましたので、上着を持っていきました。結果的には思ったほど寒くは無かったです。寒さに弱い人は持参したほうが安心です。

説明が全て英語でした。分からなかったですが、海の中は見ているだけで楽しいので、まぁ良しとします。

お魚がたくさんいて、ウミガメは見えませんでした。
お魚の種類や海底にある船とか飛行機の説明していましたがほとんどわかりませんでした。ワイキキの海底にある沈没船や魚の種類などを事前に調べておくともっと面白いかもしれません。
ダイバーも数人いて、潜水艦のなかから手をふったら「アロハ～」とサインしてくれました。

桟橋から、潜水艦までにいく船の上は風が強く、そちらの方で上着が必要です。（我慢できない寒さなら室内にいればいいですが、、）海上からワイキキビーチが一望でき、そちらも楽しいのです。

乗船前にグループ毎に写真をとり、帰りの船の上で写真購入を進められました。海の中をみた興奮もあり、値段も聞かず購入（支払いは、クレジットカードオンリーだったかな？）しました。後で明細みたら、48ドル位しました。購入後、写真ダウンロードの説明書をもらったので、ダウンロードしようと思ったら、無料ダウンロードではなく、12ドル位で購入でした^^;

There was a reception area right next to the parking lot at Hilton Hawaiian Village. It seemed like same-day reservations were also accepted.

When the time came, we went to the meeting point and after about 15 minutes on the boat, we arrived at the parasailing spot. My husband, who usually doesn’t get seasick, was feeling queasy because the boat was rocking quite a bit, so motion sickness medication is a must.

The parasailing itself was great, with beautiful views and it felt wonderful. Before landing, they intentionally drop you into the sea, so you will definitely get wet (laughs). A large bath towel is also essential! I bought photos for $40, but since they were mostly the same, I thought it might not be worth it.

時間になって、集合場所に行き15分ほど船に揺られてパラセーリングスポットに着きました。
普段酔わない旦那さんが、船酔いに遭うぐらいとても揺れるので酔い止め必須です。
パラセーリング自体は景色もよく、とても気持ちよかったです。
着陸前にわざと海に落とされるので絶対に濡れます（笑）大きいバスタオルも必須です！
40ドルで写真も購入しましたが、同じ写真ばかりだったので買わなくてもいいかなぁと思いました。

This was my first time participating in parasailing near Waikiki! Usually, I choose a parasailing package that’s a bit farther away, but this time I made a reservation for the early morning session due to the schedule of other activities. I walked from the hotel to the parasailing check-in location while enjoying a morning stroll. The muffins and coconut pound cake from the nearby coffee shop that the staff recommended were absolutely delicious! The 150 meters was indeed high and thrilling, and it was such an amazing moment that I definitely want to do it again! It has now been added to my must-do list for my next trip to Hawaii!

ワイキキのホテル近郊でのパラは初めての参加でした！
いつもはちょっと遠くまでパラとのセットを選ぶのですが、今回は他のアクティビティの時間の都合で朝一の回に予約しました。
朝の散歩がてら、ホテルから徒歩でパラの受付場所まで行きました☆
( 受付の方から教えてもらった近くのコーヒーショップのマフィンとココナッツのパウンドケーキがとっても美味しかったです)
150mは確かに高くて迫力ありましたが絶対またやりたいっ！！となる最高の瞬間でした☆

We used this for making memories on our honeymoon. It was Saturday afternoon, but I was able to make a reservation just three days in advance without any issues. The location is directly connected to Waikiki Beach, which is great because you can wear your swimsuit and go straight back to the hotel.

Since there were only three groups sharing the ride, the waiting time felt short. As others mentioned, if you're worried about motion sickness, I think it's a good idea to take some medicine beforehand, but I was able to enjoy it without feeling sick. The flight time felt longer than I expected.

The photo fee was $40, so please be careful if you're considering purchasing.

I didn't understand English, but thanks to the enthusiastic staff, I was able to create the best memories!

新婚旅行の思い出作りで利用しました。
土曜のお昼でしたが、3日前でも無事予約が取れました。
立地がワイキキビーチに直結したところにあり、ホテルから直接水着を着てそのまま帰れる立地の良さも良いです。
乗り合わせが3組と少なかったからか、待ち時間も短く感じました。他の方が言っていたように乗り物酔いが心配な場合は酔い止めを飲んでおくと良いと思いましたが、私は酔うことなく終われました。
飛行時間も思っていたより長くあったように感じます。
写真代は値上げしたのか$40でしたので、購入を考えている際はお気をつけください。


英語はわからなかったのですが、盛り上げ上手のスタッフさんのおかげで最高の思い出ができました！

Four years ago, I participated in this lesson for the first time. It was so impressive that during this family trip, I joined a group lesson (4 English speakers, 2 Japanese) with my younger brother.

After a general explanation, a local instructor who speaks Japanese took care of the two of us on the beach. It was like a completely private lesson! Both my brother (his first time surfing) and I (my second time) were able to ride the waves right away. In fact, I managed to ride all the waves except for one! My brother didn't fall even once! The instructor praised us a lot and also pointed out areas for improvement.

Another surfing instructor told me, "The person teaching you is really amazing."

The photos cost $50 for one participant and $75 for two. Since there's a breakwater nearby, I should have had my family come to take pictures. I didn't have the luxury of taking selfies... haha.

I was exhausted after the lesson, so I'm glad I signed up for it on the last day. I was able to sleep soundly on the plane. If I go to Hawaii again, I definitely want to participate in a lesson here again!

4年前、初めてこのレッスンに参加しました。
それが凄く印象的だったので、今回の家族旅行では、弟と一緒にグループレッスン(英語圏4人、日本人2人)に参加させて頂きました。

全体説明後、ビーチでは日本語も話せる現地の先生1人が我々2人を担当してくれました。完全にプライベートレッスン状態！！
私(サーフィン2回目)も弟(サーフィン1回目)も一発で波に乗れました。
というか、私は1回以外全部波に乗れました！弟は1回も落ちなかったです！
先生はいっぱい褒めてくれるし、改善点も教えてくれました。

他のサーフィンレッスンの先生から、"あなたに教えてくれてる人はとても凄い人なのよ"と声をかけられました。

写真は1人参加だと$50、2人だと$75、、でした。
近くに堤防もあるので、家族に写真を撮りに来て貰えば良かったです。
自撮りしてる余裕はないので…笑

レッスン後はクタクタだったので、最終日に申し込んで良かったです。機内で爆睡出来ました。
またハワイに行ったら、絶対ここでまたレッスンに参加したいです！

It was a very thrilling tour. The excitement of boarding a submarine on the ocean (of course, safety was taken into consideration) and the sunken ships and planes after diving felt like something out of a movie.

とても迫力あるツアーでした。
海上で潜水艦に乗るところからワクワクするスリル（もちろん安全に考慮されてました）、潜水後も沈没した船や飛行機が映画のようでした。

I had a great time with the show, which featured a variety of attractions like Michael, an Elvis impersonator, Hawaiian dance, and fire dance, keeping us entertained throughout. It's also within walking distance from the Hilton, making it a nice stroll. As a bonus, it includes a buffet. With the group, there were quite a number of people, seated at long tables of about ten. Since everything is in English, if you can communicate to some extent, you can enjoy conversations with the guests next to you. I had some light conversations with a family from the mainland. Their daughter was adorable. One downside is that there is quite a bit of time to wait for the buffet, making it a bit challenging to pass the time.

マイケル、プレスリーのそっくりさん、ハワイアンダンス、ファイアーダンスなど、次から次のアトラクションで、飽きさせない構成のショーで、十分に楽しめました。また、ヒルトンからも歩いていける距離なので、お散歩がてらにもよかったです。おまけと言っては何ですが、ビュッフェ付きです。団体さんも含めるとかなりの人数。順番に10人程度の長テーブル単位。すべて英語ですので、ある程度コミュニケーションできるとお隣のお客さんとも会話を楽しめるかと思います。私は、本土からのご家族とたわいのない会話。娘さんがかわいかったです。ビュッフェの順番まで時間が結構ありますので、時間つぶすのが難点です。

The captain were so much fun, me and my boyfriend had the best time.

It might always be like this, but perhaps due to the year-end usage, it was very crowded. The atmosphere was a bit awkward throughout because various groups were mixed at the long table for meals. When seated, the pineapple set on the table gave off a vibe of "please share it among yourselves," which further intensified the awkwardness. The taste of the buffet was just okay. During the meal, cast members performing hula and playing the ukulele came around to each table, but if you're looking for something more substantial, this might not be the place for you. After the meal, we moved to the theater to watch a show, which was probably of high quality (the American guests were really excited about the Elvis and MJ impersonations), but it felt more like an impersonation show and lacked the Hawaiian vibe, which was disappointing.

いつもこうなのかもしれないが、年末の利用ということもあったせいかとても混雑していた。食事がロングテーブルに色々なグループが混雑しているため終始少し気まずい空気。着席時にテーブルにセットされてたパイナップルはこの辺りの人で適当に分けてねという感じで気まずい空気に更に拍車が掛かる。肝心のビュッフェの味はまあまあ。食事中にフラ踊るやウクレレ演奏するキャストが各テーブルを回って来るがしっかりとしたものを見たい人はココじゃなくても良いかも。食事の後、シアターに移動して観るショーはクオリティは高いのだろうが（アメリカ人っぽいお客さんはエルヴィスとかMJのモノマネでとても盛り上がっていたので）モノマネショーがメインといった感じでハワイっぽさはあまりないのが残念。

4 of us booked this trip and it was the best experience. These guys are the real pros. Everything about the trip from start to finish was top notch. Very rare for excursions. There are only a few companies on Oahu and they are the best. (Pay a little extra to get the photos...the shots are excellent!)

If you've seen some Polynesian shows, you should definitely check this one out. It's casual and fun!

My husband is not a strong swimmer, and Zola was patient and encouraging with him the whole time. Can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

The ship rocked violently due to rough waves and wind! It took nearly an hour to get to the fishing spot, we fished for an hour, and then it took another hour to return, which left me feeling a bit unsatisfied.

荒波と風で船は大揺れ！釣り場までの船の移動で1時間近くかかり、釣りは1時間、また帰りに1時間で物足りない感じでした。

The guidance to the buffet seating and the distribution of drinks were extremely rough. There was no difference from the VIP experience. If it were like this, only the show would be good.

ビュッフェの席への案内、ドリンクの配布など、極めて粗雑。VIPとの差もなし。
これたったらショーだけが良い。

I have a fear of heights, but I’m really glad I challenged myself because it was so much fun! The view of Waikiki from above was incredibly beautiful, and there was a strange sense of unity with the other guests on the boat, which was interesting. The boat rocks quite a bit and goes fast, so it might be a good idea to take motion sickness medication. My husband held onto the GoPro without a strap during the ride, but somehow he managed to bring it back without dropping it in the ocean. We bought the photos they sold, and other guests took pictures with our smartphones, but it was great that all the shooting locations were different. When we told the captain it was our honeymoon, we ended up being dropped into the sea twice, which was funny! Including that, it was an enjoyable experience, and the captain gave instructions in excellent Japanese, so we had no trouble at all. I think it was probably the first and last time in my life, but it was a wonderful experience!

高所恐怖症ですが、チャレンジして本当によかったと思えるくらい楽しかったです！
空から見るワイキキの眺めはとってもキレイでしたし、同じボートのお客さんたちと謎の一体感が生まれて面白かったです。船はかなり揺れるし速いので酔い止めは飲んでおいた方がいいかも。夫はGoPRO を紐なしで握りしめてライドしましたがなんとか海に落とさず帰還しました。販売の写真も買いましたし、他のお客さんにもスマホで撮ってもらいましたが、全部撮影風景が違うのであってよかったです。ハネムーンだとキャプテンに伝えると、海に2回落とされました笑　それも含めて面白かったし、絶妙な日本語で指示してくれるので何も困りませんでした。たぶん人生で最初で最後だと思いますがとても良い体験ができました！

I received a short message about the cancellation due to rough seas, and I was able to change it to the morning two days later over the phone. Since I spoke in English, I'm not sure if the change could be made in Japanese.

I downloaded the Japanese guide from the Atlantis Adventures website in advance and listened to it through Bluetooth headphones on my phone using Spotify.

There was a Japanese guidebook available for free at the ship's shop.

The weather was nice on the day of the trip, and I had a great time. On the way back, I saw a turtle. In the submarine, there were many fish, and I spotted a shark under the airplane.

海が荒れてキャンセルとshort messageで連絡があり、電話で二日後の朝に変更してもらいました。英語で話したので日本語で変更できたかはわかりません。
日本語ガイドはAtlantis adventures のHPで事前ダウンロードし、携帯のSpotify でbluetooth 経由ヘッドホンで聞きました。
船の売店に日本語ガイドブックか置いてあり無料でもらえました。
当日は天気もよく楽しめました。帰りの船で亀がみえました。潜水艦では魚がたくさんと、飛行機の下にサメが見られました。

The parasailing experience itself was great. I was moved by it as it was my first time. The flight was stable, and I was able to enjoy the scenery. However, I found the meeting point difficult to locate, and I was disappointed that while the guide mentioned the photo purchase would be $30, I was charged $40 on-site without any explanation.

パラセイリングそのものは、大変よかった。初めての体験で感動した。飛行も安定していて景色も堪能できた。ただ、集合場所が分かりにくかった点と写真購入が、案内では30ドルとあったのに現地では、40ドル請求された事が腑に落ちないし、説明もないのが残念だ。

I attended with my 4-year-old daughter. The buffet was lavish, and the roast beef was especially delicious. There was also a simple hula lesson, which my daughter really enjoyed!

ビュッフェも豪華で、ローストビーフが特に美味しかったです。簡単なフラレッスンもあり、娘もとても楽しんでいました！
