My friend and I, who are not young anymore, took on this challenge thinking it would be our first and last time, and it was the best (though my family seemed quite worried). No matter how old we get, we want to do what we love!

I had never experienced such a rainy trip during the rainy season in Hawaii in December. Since the last day was also forecasted to be rainy, I made a last-minute reservation with Veltra the night before.

At the dinner buffet, we were seated near some Japanese guests, which allowed us to take photos and enjoy conversations together. It was amazing to see the hula dance up close during the meal.

Although we didn't have the top-tier tickets for the show venue, we were close to the stage and it was exhilarating! Elvis came right up to us, and we even got to shake hands. Unfortunately, the scarf was given to someone at the next table... Even though we aren't very good at English, we were able to enjoy the stage thoroughly and would love to come back.

It's definitely not a cheap option, but I think it's worth seeing at least once.

12月雨季の中のハワイ旅行、こんなに雨に降られた旅行はありませんでした。
最終日も雨予報だったので、前日夜にveltraさんで急遽予約をして参加しました。

ディナーブュッフェでは、日本人の方を近くに配置していただいたので、お互いに写真を撮ったり会話を楽しんだり出来ました。
食事中には間近でフラダンスを見れ最高でした。

ショー会場も最上ランクのチケットではありませんでしたがステージに近く大興奮！
エルビスが目の前まできてくれ握手もできました。残念ながらスカーフは隣の席の方にプレゼントされましたが…
英語がそんなに得意ではない私たちでも十分楽しめるステージで、またきたいと思いました。
決して安くないオプショナルですが一見の価値はあると思います。

This time it was a trip with my wife, but during the last company trip, we stayed in Waikiki to participate in the Honolulu Marathon in 2017. We enjoyed the show back then, so I made a reservation to show it to my wife. On the day of the show, we added the buffet, but we were seated at the edge, and since it started to rain a little, we got wet. When I looked towards Sky Waikiki, I saw a big rainbow, and it was a very lucky day.
The show was consistently enjoyable, but I felt that MJ seemed a bit tired and chubby, and his movements lacked sharpness. Haha.

今回妻との旅行でしたが、前回会社の旅行で2017年のホノルルマラソンに参加する為、ワイキキに宿泊。その時に今回のショーを見て楽しかったので、妻に見せたいと思い予約をしました。当日ブュッフェをつけましたが端っこの席で、少し雨が降って来た為、濡れてしまいました。ふとスカイワイキキの方向を見ると大きな虹が見えて、とてもラッキーな日でした。
ショーは安定の楽しさでしたが、MJが少し疲れたのか、ぽっちゃりしていて、動きにキレがなかったように感じました。笑笑

We participated in a 150m parasailing experience with our family of five. We wore swimsuits and brought towels, our phones, $50 for tips, a GoPro, and credit cards in a beach bag. At the reception, we each signed in, and when it was time, we boarded the boat. Before us, the people who finished their experience gave tips at the end, but we handed the captain a tip of $50 at the time of boarding, expecting better service. We calculated $10 per person, totaling $50 for five people. A trio of Chinese passengers who boarded with us also gave some tips. There was a $20 bill labeled as a tip in the driver's seat, so I thought it was a reasonable amount.

The three Chinese passengers experienced it first. They asked me to film with their phone, so my second daughter, who is good at filming, took care of it. We split into two groups of two and three, so we filmed each other. My eldest daughter secured the GoPro to her wrist and filmed her experience as well. During the experience, we stored our belongings and shoes in the storage area under the boat. The captain also took many photos. After the experience, he showed us the photos, and if we liked them, we could purchase them for $40. He sent the data to our smartphones and gave us an SD card. We bought them as a memento of our trip. During the experience, we went up quite high, which was thrilling, but the view from the 360-degree perspective was amazing! We also made the customary landing on the water, getting a little wet, but we ended up not using the towels. Even in January, you can go into the sea, and it was a recommended activity.

家族５人で150ｍのパラセイリングに参加しました。
水着を来て、タオル、携帯、チップ用の50＄、ゴープロ、クレジットカードをビーチバッグに入れて持参しました。受付で各自サインをして、時間になったら乗船。私達の前に体験を終えた方は最後にチップを渡していましたが、私達はより良いサービスを期待して乗船時にキャプテンにチップを渡しました。1人10＄の計算で5人分で50＄渡しました。一緒に乗船した中国人の３人組もいくらかチップを渡していました。運転席の所にチップと書いて20＄挟んであったので、妥当な金額かなと思います。
最初に中国人の３人が体験。携帯で動画の撮影を頼まれたので、撮影の得意な次女が対応しました。私達は2人と3人で分かれて体験したのでお互いに撮影しました。長女はゴープロを手首に固定して体験動画も撮ってました。体験中は荷物と靴を船の下の荷物置きに入れておきます。キャプテンも沢山写真を撮ってくれます。その写真は体験後に見せてくれて、気に入れば４０＄で購入、スマホにデータ送信してくれ、ＳＤカードももらえます。私達は旅の記念に購入しました。体験中は、結構な高さまで上がるのでドキドキしましたが、360度の視界から見渡す景色は最高でした！お決まりの水面への着地もしてくれて、少し濡れましたが、結局タオルは使用しなかったです。1月でも海に入れますし、オススメのアクティビティでした。

All three of us were surfing for the first time, and there were people from various countries in the same group lesson. Since my family was the only Japanese group, I felt a bit lonely at first, but we had one instructor dedicated to just the three of us, and he was fluent in Japanese, so we were able to enjoy surfing without any worries. I would like to try again when I go to Hawaii. The water was clear, the sky was blue, and we had the best time.

３人とも初めてのサーフィンで、さまざまな国の方々が同じグループのレッスンに参加されており、日本人は私の家族だけだったので、最初は少し心細く感じていましたが、私たち３人に１人の先生が専任でついて下さり、先生も日本語が堪能な方でしたので、なんの心配もなくサーフィンを楽しむことができました。またハワイに出かけたら、再度チャレンジしてみたいと思います。
水もきれいで、空も青く、最高の時間を過ごすことができました。

I was a little late for the scheduled meeting time, but when I called to inform them, they said they would wait for 20 minutes. I made it just in time to sign the agreement. It was a one-hour course as planned. My family of six participated, along with two others at the same time, making a total of eight of us setting sail. We were divided into two groups of three for the parasailing. In no time, we were up in the blue sky. It was an experience of just under 10 minutes while enjoying the best views. I thought it would be a short time before the experience, but since it was my first time, 10 minutes was just right. Thank you very much.

少し予定の集合時間に遅れてしまいましたが、遅れる旨の電話を入れると20分は待ってくださるとのことでした。
無事、間に合って同意書にサイン。
予定通りの1時間のコースでした。家族6人で参加しましたが、同時間に2名の方と参加で、計8名で出航しました。
6名を3人ずつに分けて、パラセイルを装着。
あっという間に、青空へ。
最高の景色を楽しみながら約10分弱の体験でした。少ない時間だなあーと体験前は思っていましたが、初めてだったので、10分弱でちょうど良かったです。

The food wasn't very delicious. The guidance wasn't very good either. It felt like a conveyor-belt type of service. I felt a bit left out. I understand that the dishes are served on one plate, but it was disappointing that everything was mixed together. The show was good, though.

食事があまり美味しくなかったかな。案内があまりよろしくなかった。流れ作業で案内。ちょっとおいてけぼり感がありました。料理もワンプレートはわかりますが、みんないっしょにごちゃ混ぜ状態になって残念。ショーはよかったよ

Snorkeling with Mickey was so much fun! It was good to see that he was enjoying it as much as we were, even though it’s something he’s done many times. He really knows how to make you feel at ease while in the water, even for first time or lesser experienced swimmers. The activity itself was very cool. We got to see some interesting animals at the ocean floor, such as sea cucumbers, sea urchins, and even some fish. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of signing up for it, and for such a reasonable price too. Surprisingly the photo’s actually turned out quite well too.

The overall experience was simply amazing!
It was my first time parasailing and the crew was very helpful and made us comfortable.
The view from above was spectacular and I’d surely recommend anyone and everyone to go for it!

The basics were very helpful, however, the limitations with life vests and the lack of actual sea life made it a little less of a good experience. Overall it was received well by the family and was fun enough.

The moment I floated up into the sky, the blue ocean spread out below me, and it was amazing! The weather was also great, and I could see Diamond Head beautifully. I think it's best to wear clothes that you don't mind getting wet, as you might get a little splashed.

空にフワッと舞い上がった瞬間、眼下に青い海が広がって最高でした!お天気にも恵まれ、ダイアモンドヘッドも綺麗に見れました。少し濡れるので濡れてもよい服装で参加したらよいと思います。

This was my first experience in Hawaii. The food was a buffet with a variety of Hawaiian dishes, and there were even desserts. There was also a performance during the meal, which was fantastic.

After the meal, we moved to watch a show, and it was very moving. I think it's worth experiencing at least once if you come to Hawaii. Lastly, we were able to greet the performers and take photos with them, which was fun.

Time flew by, but I believe it's a tour that can be utilized effectively.

また食事中にパフォーマンスもあって最高でした。

食事後移動してショーを見ましたがとても感動しました。ハワイにきたなら一度体験してみる価値があると思います。
最後にグリーティングもできて出演者と写真も撮れて楽しかったです。

時間があっという間に過ぎましたが有効活用できるツアーだと思います。

The view from 150 meters is amazing. It was a breathtaking sight with Diamond Head and the streets of Hawaii visible. Even during the waiting time for parasailing, the crew kept us entertained, so there was no time to get bored. However, the boat might be a bit rocky, so I recommend taking motion sickness medication just in case.

高さ150mの景色は最高。ダイヤモンドヘッド、ハワイの街並みが見える絶景でした。パラセーリングの待ち時間も船員の方が色々と楽しませてくれるので、退屈する時間はありませんでした。ただ船は少し酔いやすいかもしれないので、酔い止めは念のため飲んでおいた方が良いと思います。

It's our second time with this parasailing company, and once again, they delivered a thrilling adventure beyond our expectations! We did this with my girls when they were 9 and 11 years old, and my son, who was only 4 years old, could not join us at the time. But now, my girls are 18 and 16, and my son has turned 11 years old, and this time, he's finally able to join on the fun with us! We're thrilled to have the whole family together for this incredible experience.

My kids experienced the best time of their lives, and it's so fun to watch them happily share their experiences to their cousins and friends.

As always, the captains are fun and they make the experience more exciting! The beautiful pictures taken added to the joy of the trip too.

As for my impressions, I think it's good for those who want to experience entertainment like in Las Vegas or Los Angeles while in Hawaii. I was looking forward to the shows in Hawaii, so I was a bit disappointed in some aspects, but since I enjoy entertainment, I was able to have a decent time. Given the weak yen, I thought the prices were quite high. However, since it was Christmas Day, the venue was nearly full with a capacity of 750.

First, after checking in, we were guided to the buffet area. The VIP guests started their meals first. It was crowded, which made it a bit cramped, but they guided us patiently in order, and we were able to enjoy plenty of food. The park, beef, and tofu were all delicious.

We watched a light hula dance and listened to ukulele music, and there was also dessert time. After the meal, we moved to the hall where the entertainment show began. The show could be seen beautifully from any seat, so I don't think it's a problem if you're not in a VIP seat. I was a little envious that VIP guests received fresh flower leis.

Overall, the meal was delicious and enjoyable, and with the show included, I was able to spend a fun time.

感想としては、ハワイでラスベガスやロサンゼルスなどのエンターテイメントを観たい、体験したい方には良いかと思います。私は、ハワイのショーを楽しみにしていたので、少しガッカリな部分もありましたが、エンターテイメントは好きなので、それなりに楽しめました。円安ということもあり、かなりお値段も高いと思いました。でも、クリスマスの日だったとこもあり、750定員満席に近かったです。
まず、受付をするとビュッフェ会場に案内されます。ビュッフェ会場は、VIPの人が先に食事を始めていました。満席だったので、窮屈感もありましたが、順番に丁寧に案内してくれ、料理も十分に食べれました。パークもビーフも豆腐も美味しかったです。
軽いフラのダンスを観たり、ウクレレを聞いたりして、デザートタイムもありました。
食後、ホールに移動して、エンターテイメントのショーが開始されました。ショーは、どの席でも綺麗に観られるので、VIP席出なくても問題ないかと思います。
VIP席だと、生花のレイが貰えてちょっぴり羨ましかったです。
全体的に食時も美味しく、楽しく、ショーも付いていて、楽しいひと時を過ごすことが出来ました。

The pre-experience explanatory video had Japanese subtitles, and the instructors spoke Japanese, so it was not a problem if you are not fluent in English! The practical instructions were clear, and I was able to get on the board right away. There were three of us participating, but since there were two instructors, they provided guidance tailored to each participant's level, allowing us to have a meaningful experience. For those who were capable, they encouraged us to try new things, like riding the waves alongside the instructors or going out to where the big waves were. For those who were less experienced, they offered experiences in areas with moderate waves, and if someone wanted to try the big waves, they made it possible!

体験前の事前説明動画は日本語字幕があり、インストラクターの方も日本語が話せる方だったので英語が上手でなくても問題ないです！
実践もわかりやすく説明してくださり、すぐにボードに乗ることができました。3人での体験となりましたが、インストラクターの方が2名いたので体験者のレベルに合わせてインストラクターの方が指示してくれ、有意義な時間が過ごせました。出来る人にはどんどん新しいことも体験させてくれ、インストラクターの方と一緒に（隣に並んで）波に乗ったり、大きな波がある沖にいったりもしました。不慣れな人には中くらいの波のところで体験や、本人が大きな波にトライしたかったら、体験させてくれたりと、、！！

The show and entertainment were wonderful, and I was captivated until the end. I was especially moved by Elvis Presley, John Lennon, and most of all, Hawaii's representative singer, IZ.

However, I was disappointed with the initial meal and the staff. The guidance was insufficient, and the meal took too long, leaving us with too much time before the show without any food. I felt that the premium seats were better. Additionally, most of the staff did not speak Japanese, which felt a bit rude, especially considering that even though there are fewer Japanese people due to the post-COVID situation. I ended up taking home one of the two free drink tickets without using it, and the service seemed to prioritize Americans, leaving a bad aftertaste.

The location is on the 4th floor of the Waikiki Royal Hawaiian Center, and I arrived without any trouble. I was welcomed with a welcome drink (Mai Tai cocktail), and they played a Sukiyaki song and a birthday song on the ukulele at my table. The dinner buffet featured traditional Hawaiian dishes, with plenty on the plate and unlimited refills; it was very delicious. I was particularly impressed by the thickness of the roast beef they served. During the meal, there was a hula show, and I was able to participate in a hula lesson as well. After that, there was a "look-alike show" (rock) featuring Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, representing America, which was of high quality and enjoyable across generations. The authentic hula, Polynesian show, and fire dance brought the show to its peak, and the excitement from the foreign tourists was wonderful; the fun was at its maximum. It was a time that filled both my stomach and my heart.

ウエルカムドリンク（マイタイカクテル）でお迎えしていただき、ウクレレですき焼きソングやbirthdayソングも席にて奏でて頂きました。ディナービュッフェはハワイ伝統料理など、お皿に盛り沢山、おかわり自由、とても美味しく
特に切り分けてくれたローストビーフの厚さに感激しました。食事中のフラショー、そしてフラレッスンにも参加出来ました。その後日本で俗にいう「そっくりさんショー」（ロック）アメリカを代表するエルビスプレスリーとマイケルジャクソンはクオリティが高く世代を超えて楽しむことができます。本場のフラ・ポリネシアンショーとファイアーダンスでショーは最高潮、外人観光客の盛り上がり方が素晴らしく、楽しさはMAXでした。お腹と心（ハート）が満たされた時間でした

The level was too high. First of all, the food was delicious. I was overwhelmed by the Hawaiian dance that took place during the meal, and while I was filming, they pointed at me with their fingers♪ The service was enthusiastic, leaving a very good impression! The next show was a stunning performance that lasted for an hour and a half non-stop, making me wonder if I could keep up! Personally, I was happy to hear Michael Jackson's "Thriller." I was also glad they took photos with me after the show.
I definitely want to go again!

レベルが高すぎました。まず食事がおいしかったです。食事中に行われるハワイアンダンスに圧倒され動画を撮っていると指を刺してくれました♪サービス精神が旺盛で非常に良い印象でした！次のショーでは1時間半ノンストップで行われていて、体力大丈夫かな？って疑うくらい圧巻のショーでした！個人的にマイケルジャクソンのスリラーが聞けて嬉しかったです。ショーの後も一緒に写真を撮ってくれて嬉しかったです。
また行きたい絶対行きたい！

The dinner buffet before the show was hearty and very delicious. On top of that, I was able to listen to a genuine concert, which was overwhelming. This is because a deceased superstar was making an appearance. I was moved to tears from the nostalgia. As the year changes, I hope to see what kind of legendary stars will appear next, and if they could keep changing the versions, I would definitely want to come back again.

ショー前のディナービュッフェではがっつり食べれて、しかもとても美味しかった。尚かつ本格的なコンサートも聞け感無量です。というのも亡くなったスーパースターが出てくるのだから。懐かしさの余り涙ぐみました。年が替わって今度はどんな往年のスターが登場するか、どんどんバージョンを替えて頂けたら、是非ともリピしたいと思います。

Having experienced many shows across Hawaii, I must say the Magical Mystery Show in Waikiki stands out as one of the absolute best. Accompanied by my 10-year-old niece, we were both completely mesmerized by the sheer brilliance of this performance.

The ambiance and decor of the venue transported us back to the enchanting Victorian era, and it was a delightful immersion into a world of wonder and magic. Not to mention convenience of its location made it very accessible for a non-driver like me :)

However, the true highlight was the exceptional magician whose performance was nothing short of spectacular. Their mastery and skill were evident in every act, and they had the audience's attention captivated throughout the show. My niece, in particular, was enthralled and thoroughly enjoyed every moment, and was so excited when she was called up to assist!

All in all, the Magical Mystery Show in Waikiki is an absolute gem, and definitely a must-see for anyone looking to have an evening filled with enchantment and awe~

The location is on the 4th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center B building. It's in an easy-to-find spot in the heart of Waikiki.
First, we had the dinner buffet. Starting with stylish Hawaiian cocktails, I enjoyed a variety of dishes like roast beef and pork, and even though I was full, I made sure to indulge in dessert as well. During the meal, there were mini shows featuring hula dancing and ukulele performances between the tables, allowing us to experience the Hawaiian atmosphere.
After that, we enjoyed a theater experience reminiscent of a movie theater, showcasing Hawaiian music from old times to the present, with impressive performances of authentic hula dancing and Elvis and Michael look-alikes. The final fire show was particularly thrilling! It was exciting and captivating! It became a memorable part of our trip to Hawaii. I've seen shows in Hawaii twice before, but this was the best one yet. It was the largest Hawaiian show in Waikiki.

場所はロイアルハワイセンターB館の4階です。ワイキキの中心地でわかりやすい場所にあります。
まずは夕食ブッフェ。おしゃれなハワイのカクテルなどに始まり、ローストビーフ、ポークなど一通り食べたらお腹がいっぱいになりましたが、デザートもしっかりいただきました。食事中もテーブルの間でフラダンスやウクレレなどのミニショーがあり、ハワイらしい雰囲気を味わえました。
その後、映画館のようなシアターで古い年代から現代までのハワイ音楽、本格的なフラダンスやエルビス、マイケルそっくりさんの圧巻の演出で楽しかったです。特に最後のファイアーショーは迫力満点！ハラハラドキドキで見ごたえあり！！ハワイならではの旅の思い出になりました。ハワイでは過去に2回ショーを見ていますが、今回が一番良かったです。ワイキキ最大のハワイアンショーでした。

The buffet meal and the rock and roll show were experienced from regular seats, not VIP or third-floor seats. The venue was not very large, and perhaps because it was a weekday with fewer guests, we were seated together in the central area, making the regular seats quite good with a strong sense of presence. On the contrary, I thought the front row of the VIP seats was almost too close to the stage. It was great to enjoy the hula dance with various costumes and a look back at its history, providing a quintessential Hawaiian experience. I also enjoyed the impersonation show of Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson showcased his unique dance moves. I couldn't help but laugh when Elvis wiped the sweat from his body and threw his scarf. There was also a powerful display of traditional fire arts. The buffet wasn't extremely high quality, but there were no issues, and there was plenty of local food. The quantity and variety were sufficient.

ビュッフェの食事とロックアフラショーで、VIP席や３階席でない普通席での観劇です。会場はあまり大きくなく、客があまり多くない平日だったからか、中央エリアにまとめて座ったため、普通席でも十分に臨場感ある良い席でした。逆にVIP席の最前列はステージに近すぎるくらいだと思いました。フラダンスをいろんな衣装や歴史を振り返る趣向で楽しめて、ハワイらしいベタな体験ができて良かったです。プレスリーとマイケルジャクソンのそっくりさんショーも楽しめました。マイケルジャクソンは特有のダンスを披露。特にプレスリーは体の汗をぬぐってスカーフを投げる所まで再現していたのに笑っちゃいました。火を使った伝統芸の迫力もありました。ビュッフェはものすごく高品質というほどではありませんが、問題はなく、ローカルフードも多かったです。量や品数は十分でした。

The magic shows I attended in Hawaii (30 years ago and 10 years ago) were so wonderful that I tried to find and book one, but it seems the magician from back then has retired. This time, I saw a different Japanese magician for the first time, and he was an amazing performer, just as good as the previous ones, allowing me to have a very fulfilling time. It was great to watch up close, and the entertaining talk created a fantastic atmosphere. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't figure out the right timing for when to go to the restroom or order additional drinks. Also, the introduction before the show started and the waiting time after the gathering was quite long. Furthermore, I found it inappropriate to be standing in line while being offered cocktails; it felt rather rude. If possible, drinks should be served at the venue.

これまでハワイに来た時に(30年前、10年前)観たマジックショーがあまりにもすばらしかったので、探して申込もうとしましたが、当時のマジシャンは引退されたようでした。今回初めて異なる日本人マジシャンを観ましたが、まさるとも劣らぬ素晴らしいマジシャンで、とても充実した時間を過ごせました。至近距離で観させて頂いた事、トークが面白く幻想的な雰囲気である事が良かったです。トイレに行きたい時や飲み物の追加注文等の可否のタイミングが良く分からなかったのは残念でした。又、本番が始まるまでの導入部と集合時間以降の待ち時間が長い。又立って並んで待っている時に飲み物のカクテルを飲ませるのは頂けない、寧ろ失礼かと思います。どうせなら飲み物は会場で。

The weather was nice and the sea was calm on the day of the event, so it felt really good to ascend high into the sky. The view of Waikiki Beach from the sea was also very beautiful. I felt like I got a great deal being able to see both Waikiki from the sky and the sea. Everyone who participated was friendly and we had enjoyable conversations; it was truly a wonderful experience. I would like to participate again next time I visit Hawaii.

当日は天気も良く海も穏やかだったので､空に向かって高く高く登って行く感じがとても気持ちよかったです。海のから見るワイキキビーチもとても綺麗でした。空から海から両方のワイキキが見れてお得感を感じました。一緒に参加した皆さんとも和気あいあいで楽しく会話して､ほんとに良い体験でした。ハワイに来た際は次回も参加したいと思います。
