Once seated, there was no opportunity to ask questions to the staff. The instructor informed us about the areas to be cautious of during the ride, which allowed me to enjoy the experience with peace of mind. The instructor was very fun and provided clear guidance, and I was able to learn a lot about the finer details of Hawaii. They also took photos for us, which became wonderful memories. I want to ride a Segway again when I go back to Hawaii!

After a few minutes of practice in the parking lot, we headed out onto the public road. Riding a Segway around the Ala Moana area while feeling the breeze was so much fun! I was also happy that the instructor took lots of photos at the landmarks! It was so great that I want to repeat it with a different tour plan next time!

I and my family attended this activity on December 1, 2022. We had a great experience. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was great. Everyone was nice and friendly. The show was outstanding. All the staff and performers did a fantastic job to ensure we had a great time. We enjoyed the experience very much. We recommend this activity to anyone who is thinking about attending a luau in Oahu. The location of this activity is in Waikiki which is very convenient for us. If you are staying in Waikiki, you should definitely give this activity a try.

It was my first time visiting Hawaii and I wanted to watch a hula show. After doing some research, I chose Rock-A-Hula among others because of the location. It was located in the heart of Waikiki so I didn't have to worry about driving and another parking fees. The show is overall great, but I can't really say the same about the sound quality. It's not about the performance quality, but more of a sound system they have in the theatre. I'm a musician myself and may be little sensitive than musician, most people wouldn't tell the difference. (In fact, my parents really loved it). You could see many talented dancers and singers perform and it was the bomb. I highly recommend it!

The food was amazing for a buffet. The welcome cocktail was delicious. I would recommend getting the fish and the pork. The desert was also delicious!

The show was awesome and the drinks during the show were strong. I really liked the music and the performers! There is not a bad seat in the house! The Elvis impersonator was awesome! He should be in a Vegas show! Michael Jackson could of been a little bit better but he was still good.

Our server Kyle was excellent and was awesome during the show!

They do have an after party with good music that goes late into the night.

I would recommend getting their early to get a better seat and to be able to get food first.

This is the best luau on Oahu and would recommend this show to everyone. We will definitely be back for the great food, awesome entertainment and superior hospitality.

I've been to Hawaii many times, but this was my first try at this activity. I have a fear of heights, so I thought I would never do it. However, at the strong request of a friend who was visiting Hawaii for the first time, I decided to join in.

Seeing Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head from a different angle was an incredible deal! Since it was all ocean below, I didn't feel high at all. The takeoff, landing in the water, and landing on the boat were all very gentle, so I wasn't scared at all! It was just so much fun! It became a wonderful memory. Next time, I think I'll take my husband along.

My wife and I are in Honolulu for our honeymoon and we cannot have picked a better Luau. The dinner and show is conveniently located in Waikiki, central to all the shopping and hotels. We were happily greeted by the staff right from checking in and the performers, hosts, servers were also very nice. They go above and beyond to make sure that every guest has a great experience. The buffet dinner had a lot of variety of foods that cater to everyone. After dinner, we headed into the theatre for the show. They took us through the history of Hawaii with music and dancing which was very entertaining. All the performers were truly talented. Especially the fire dancing! We would highly recommend this to our friends and families.

I was a bit anxious because there were mostly foreign participants and few Japanese attendees, but it was great that the luau buffet menu had Japanese descriptions. I was able to enjoy various Hawaiian dishes. A welcome drink was included, but any additional orders would incur extra charges. The roast beef and pork dishes were carved right in front of us. There were also desserts. Even from the second-floor seating, the show was very visible, but since both the show and buffet prioritize VIPs, I thought it might be worth paying for that. During the show, the Japanese attendees were wearing masks. The impersonations, hula, and fire dance were incredibly powerful and exciting, and I was glad to participate and feel the essence of Hawaii.

I participated once before the COVID-19 pandemic and had a very valuable experience, so I joined again after about three years! On the day I participated, the wind was strong and the waves were high, which reduced the water's clarity. As a result, when the honu dove, it quickly became hard to see them, and I didn't spot them as often as during my previous visit. However, I was able to see a few honu, and just as I was about to head back to the boat, I spotted a large pod of dolphins in the distance. One of them jumped high like in a dolphin show, and I was so excited! Just when I thought the excitement couldn't get any better, the pod of dolphins started swimming towards us, and in the end, I was able to swim with the dolphins too! The guide was very friendly and spoke to my son several times, who was feeling nervous. Since the landing is quite intense, if your child isn't okay with getting water on their face, it might be traumatic.

We were supposed to gather at 2:00 PM, but we ended up meeting at 2:30 PM, and we returned around 4:30 PM. Even if you gather early, I think it's fine to be cutting it close since there was quite a bit of waiting time.

Five years ago, I was moved when I first saw this show, and on the last day of my trip to Hawaii after five years, I went again. Although I was in the second-floor seats (not reserved), I was only about ten meters away from the stage, and the seating was arranged theater-style, rising from the front to the back, so I could see the cast's expressions well. The reception at the show venue starts at 7 PM, the show begins at 7:40 PM, and ends at 9 PM. If you finish an early dinner and enter as soon as the reception starts, you can sit in a good seat right in front of the stage.

Due to the weak yen, the prices have gone up a bit, but compared to show prices in Japan, I think it's still a good deal. 円安でちょっと料金は高くなりましたが、日本のショー料金と比べたら割安と思います。エルビスプレスリーのファンの方、マイケルジャクソンのファンの方には特におススメのショーです。ショーは全て英語ですが、英語が分からなくても十分楽しめるショーです。

I used this for my honeymoon.
I had a great time and was very satisfied.
I'll write about the plan details and other specifics.

First of all, I felt that there was a shortage of tourists in Hawaii overall, which led to a shortage of staff.

まずはハワイ全体として観光客不足で、それに伴って人手不足だったと感じました。
それが不満だったわけではないのですが、日本人観光客が少ないせいか、日本語を話せるスタッフも少なく、しっかり英語が必要な国になってます。
③受付スペースでフラダンスを踊ってくれていたのですが、このサイトの写真とは異なり1人だけでした、、。笑
そもそも受付している人が少ないので、少し寂しい印象でしたが、お願いすれば自分達のためだけに踊ってくれたので、それはそれでラッキーだったのかなと思います。

②観光客が少ないと書きましたが、このツアーもやはり参加者が少なく、スペースとしては余っていました。しかし、参加者同士は詰めて座らされるので距離はかなり近いです。
日本と違ってマスクしてる人なんていないので、そういうのを気にされる方はご自身でマスクをつけていくべきかと思います。
また、みんなでフラダンスを踊ったりするだけでなく、テーブルでパイナップルを分け合ってくれ、とも言われるので同じテーブルの人とは多少交流することになります。

④ビュッフェの料理ですが、テーブルの島ごとに並んで取りに行く感じなので何回も自由に取りに行く雰囲気ではないです。
私の盛り方が下手で申し訳ないのですが、ご飯自体はかなり美味しかったです。ウェルカムドリンクのマイタイも美味しかったので、満足です。

①ロック・ア・フラのステージの写真です。
フラダンスだけでなく、エルビス・プレスリー、マイケルジャクソンのモノマネが歴史を追って順々に披露されていく感じです。
エルビスは年代からズレているのでふーん、と言った感じでしたが、マイケルジャクソンは20代後半くらいであれば聞いたことある曲しかやらないので、楽しめると思います。
会場自体は750人入れるらしいですが、私たちの時は60人くらいだったと思います。
非常に少なく、演者の人たちが自分たちだけに踊ってくれているように感じました。
ショーの後、私と妻はマイケルと3ショットで写真を撮ってもらいました。

ザックリと書きましたが、本当に楽しいツアーでした。食事の時のウェイターの人が、ショーでも踊っていて、なんだか大変なのかなぁと思ってしまいますが、内容としては素晴らしいです。
こんなに良いショーなのにこんなに人が少ないなんて悲しい、、と感じてしまうほどでした。
とても楽しいので、ぜひ皆さんも参加していただきたいツアーです。
