I visit Hawaii regularly every year. I have participated in various sailing activities, but Holokai Catamaran has been the best, so this is my third consecutive year joining them.

The most wonderful aspect is, of course, the view of Waikiki from the sea, but even more so, the friendly attitude and service spirit of the crew. They offer unlimited drinks and provide timely refills, which reflects the hospitality that Japanese people appreciate, and it makes me happy.

There are many sailing options in Waikiki, but this one is the best. If you're considering it, definitely go and check it out!

I participated in early November. Since I made a last-minute reservation, I didn't check the reviews or precautions much and joined without sunglasses, but you should definitely bring them! The sun was strong for about an hour from the meeting time, and I got really sunburned, so sunscreen is a must. I took motion sickness medication, so I didn't get seasick, but the boat was quite rocky at times. We got splashed with water in the areas with big waves, but it was exciting and fun. The drinks were unlimited with a cup exchange, and at the end, we even received mini raffles. In our group, there was only one other Japanese couple, and there were more people from Europe and the United States than from Asia. Everyone was friendly, and we were able to take photos together. The strong wind made my hair a mess. It felt a bit pricey due to the weak yen, but the sunset was beautiful, and I'm glad I participated!

集合時間〜１時間ぐらいは日差しが強く、日焼けが凄かったので、日焼け止めも必須です。酔い止めは飲んでいたので船酔いはありませんでしたが、途中は揺れが大きかったです。波が大きいところでは水に濡れたりもしましたが、盛り上がって楽しかったです。ドリンクもコップ交換で飲み放題で、最後にミニのラッフルズなどもいただきました。私たちが乗った回は日本の方が他に1組しかおらず、アジア圏よりも欧米の方が多かったです。みなさんフレンドリーで写真を取り合ったりできました。強風で髪の毛はボッサボサになります。円安すぎてお高めに感じましたが、サンセットもキレイで参加して良かったです！

The staff was so friendly and fun, the drinks flowed, and we were dancing most of the time. The rest of the time spent was taking the most amazing photos against a spectacular sunset! Every one of my group of 12 had the best time and wanted to do this again every night of our stay!

I have visited Honolulu many times and enjoyed gourmet experiences at tourist spots like North Shore, Manoa, and Kailua in the past. This time, I experienced a 90-minute sailing on the sea of Honolulu. During check-in, a lovely woman provided a detailed explanation, and on board, a cheerful male crew member offered various services. It was amazing to see the scenery from the sea, looking at the city of Honolulu, the hotels, Diamond Head, and the Pacific Ocean, which I usually viewed from the land. The size of the boat and the duration of the trip were perfect for the kids, and by chance, we were able to see a school of flying fish and a turtle, which was exciting. The waves made the boat bounce, and the splashes of water were fun for the elementary school kids, while the preschooler clung to me in fear. I couldn't let the one-year-old roam freely, but they fell asleep partway through, allowing us to enjoy the ride at a leisurely pace. It became a very enjoyable memory.

Great experience, the staff on the boat were really personable and experienced.
Reminder to those going on the catamaran, wear shorts or something you don’t mind getting wet, no denim or something that will take. Whole to dry as you have to walk through the water to get on the boat and you have to time the stair climb with the waves.
I would recommend this cruise to anyone. The instructions on where to check in were clear and there was a water tap to rinse our feet off after which was nice. This catamaran was smaller than any others I had been on which was great for easy on and off. The mai tai’s were really good too!! Much better than some of the hotel bars we have had.

I saw it in a travel magazine and decided to include it in our schedule. The weather was a bit bad on the day we went, but when I suddenly looked at Diamond Head, there was a rainbow over it. The sway of the yacht as we moved over the waves, everyone swaying to the music and enjoying drinks, the excitement with people from various countries, and the sunset sinking into the sea was absolutely beautiful. The night view on the way back was fantastic, and it was truly a fun two hours. Thank you to the staff of Nahoku for creating such a wonderful time.

About an hour before the gathering, I checked the boat's location, and when I arrived 30 minutes prior, I panicked because the boat was missing. The voucher mentioned that there might not be a boat even at the check-in time, but it also stated that due to sea conditions, the departure could be from a completely different beach. It said they would contact us individually, but since there was no international phone number, I was worried that I might have been left behind. In the end, the boat did not arrive until the departure time, and there was no shade on the beach under the blazing sun, with no restrooms nearby, so arriving too early is something to be cautious about.

However, once on board, I found a bar where you could drink freely, and later it turned into a lively club atmosphere with upbeat music (the passengers on passing boats seemed a bit taken aback), which really made me feel like I was experiencing something international! I would like to use this service again if I have the chance. Shoes are stored away, and it's barefoot on the boat. It gets quite wet, so wearing a swimsuit with a rash guard was definitely the right choice!

集合の１時間ほど前に船の位置を下見して、30分前に行ったら船がなく焦りました。
バウチャーにはチェックインの時間になっても船がないことがあるとは書いてありましたが、海況で全く違うビーチ発になることもあるとも書いてあり、個別連絡するとは書いてあるもの、海外用の電話番号もなかったためまさか置いてかれたのか？と気が気ではありませんでした。。
結局出港の時間まで船は来ず、炎天下のビーチで日陰はなく、近くにはトイレもないので、早く着きすぎるのも要注意です。

ただ、乗ってみたら気軽に飲み放題できるバーと後半はノリノリBGMのクラブ状態（すれ違った船の乗客は若干引くほど）でまさに海外を味わえた気がしますｗ
また機会があったらこちらを利用したいな、とは思いました。
靴は仕舞われ船上は裸足。結構濡れるので水着にラッシュで正解でした！

I thought I would have to join a half-day tour to see sea turtles, but I found a tour in the Waikiki area that only took about 2 to 3 hours, and it was really great.

The instructor continuously pointed out where the sea turtles were while we were snorkeling, so it was easy to follow along and see them! I was very happy to swim with several sea turtles. I plan to request this tour again when I go back to Hawaii.

半日かけたツアーに参加しないとウミガメには会えないかなと思っていたのですが、ワイキキ界隈で2、3時間程度で催行してくれるツアーでとても良かったです。

It was a bit cramped, but there wasn't any shaking, and there were lots of cute fish at the artificial reef, making for a very meaningful time. However, I probably wouldn't go on it a second time. The boat to the submarine was nice too! I definitely recommend it.

I experienced cruising for the first time, and it was wonderful. The sunset was truly beautiful and moving. After heading out to sea, I was nervous about the swimming time, thinking the water might be cold, but surprisingly it wasn't and the temperature was quite pleasant (for reference, it was mid-October). However, a large towel and long sleeves are essential. I was also happy with the snack service after playing. Taking motion sickness medication beforehand was the right choice. It was a lot of fun.

サンセットが本当に美しく感動でした。
沖に出た後のスイミングタイムは、水が冷たいのではないかと、ドキドキしながら入りましたが、意外にそうでもなく気持ちの良い温度でした(参考までに10月中旬です)。
ただ大きいタオル、長袖は必須です。
遊んだ後にスナックのサービスも嬉しかったです。

It's hard to say whether Waikiki sail is a great experience or not. They called us the night before around 8:00 p.m. letting us know that they quite doing the afternoon tours and asked if we could come earlier. Unfortunately we had a hard to get breakfast reservation and with less than 24 hours notice, we could't change it even if we wanted to. With that said, Waikiki sail was great at finding a different company that could take us which was awesome. Despite my frustration, I had to at least give them an okay rating for that. We sailed with Moana adventures and had a great time so if Waikiki sails experience is similar and they don't tell you the night before that a change has been made, they are probably great.

When we boarded the boat, a wave came at just the right moment, and we got completely soaked (laughs). I participated with my two small children, and the tour guides were very friendly, talking a lot with the kids! It rained and got cold along the way, so parents might want to bring a hooded sweatshirt or raincoat. The moment we saw a large group of turtles and dolphins was truly moving! The kids were overjoyed!

小さい子供2人連れての参加でしたが添乗員の方々とてもフレンドリーで子供達にもたくさん話しかけてくれました！
途中雨が降って寒かったので子持ちの方はフード付きのパーカーかカッパを持参したほうが良いかもしれません。。
カメやイルカの大群が見えた瞬間はとても感動！子供達も大喜びでした！

I made a reservation to experience sailing in Hawaii for the first time. The meeting point was easy to find on the first floor of the Outrigger Reef, and we boarded from the beach about a 10-minute walk away. I don't understand English at all, but the translation app worked just fine! The crew members were very considerate, asking if I wanted a drink and if I wanted to take photos. I even saw a rainbow next to Diamond Head! It truly became a wonderful memory!

集合もわかりやすくアウトリガーリーフの1階で、歩いて10分くらいの浜辺から乗船。まったく英語がわかりませんが、翻訳アプリで大丈夫でした！クルーのお兄さんも、飲み物はいかが？や、写真撮ろうか？と気を使ってくれました！
