Went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We were in Oahu for 2 days at the tail end of our trip. This tour was perfect for what we wanted to accomplish on our last day. The tour lasted roughly 4 hours and we had full transportation to the hiking sites, plus entry fee for Diamond Head. We were able to see the sunrise at Diamond Head which was a once in a lifetime experience!

Definitely recommend this tour for those who want to hike solo, but need the transportation.

This adventure is perfect for lots of people. With the door to door transportation we did not have to worry about tickets or parking and the driver brought us Leonard’s famous Malasada donuts afterwards. The hike was doable for young and old and lots of picture points! I would definitely recommend it!

My husband and I did the 6am tour so we can catch the sunrise definitely recommend doing the early tour- it was amazing. I wish our tour guy would’ve provided flashlights or something it was pretty dark the for a good 30 min going up. Luckily our phones did the trick but it ate up our battery. Overall a beautiful experience

KOA picked us up and was a very enjoyable and safe driver. We had a perfect sunny morning to hike and it was absolutely gorgeous! All of us in our group that hiked are in our 60’s and was not to difficult of a journey for us. The views on the way up and down were beautiful, but the views from the top were breathtaking! One of our favorite excursions while visiting the Hawaiian Islands.

After my group was picked up another couple was picked up. I was disappointed because they were picked up across the street from the condo we were staying at. My group had to take a 15 minute walk to The pick up location that they told us. We could have slept in a little bit later and had breakfast. The ride to Diamondhead was simple and quick. Once you get to the location they do you have food trucks if you want to grab food or something to drink. As we were entering we were ask for tickets. Our driver did not give us the tickets to enter the hiking trail. We called the company no one answered and we did not have the phone number to the shuttle driver. The staff at Diamondhead did not want to let us in. however after taking sympathy on as they were nice and let us in. They could have said no and we would have to have sat in front of Diamondhead for 2 1/2. If you book with this company make sure your driver gives you your blue ticket for entry into the park.

After the hike it was a madhouse because the afternoon tours were coming in and the morning tours were going out. I received a phone call and it was a new shuttle driver who was supposed to take us to our original shuttle driver because he was caught in some type of traffic. It was a tight squeeze because this new shadow was much smaller than the ones that we came in on. The drive was really nice he gave us kind of like a sightseeing tour as we were going to the drop off location. We all get out and we’re kind of just standing around waiting. He tells us that the original shuttle driver is coming (he never showed). For people decided not to continue on with the second hike. So the shuttle driver said that instead of us waiting he could take us now because it was a smaller group. This isn’t their first time doing these tour so I would have expected things to run a lot smoother. I do recommend shopping around for different tour companies.

You are pretty much just paying for a ride there. It is a very pretty hike, I would make sure to wear shoes with traction as it does get pretty slippery towards the top. Q lot of good picture spots.

It was our last day in Hawai’i. This hike was the best way to end our 7 day vacation! It was a great bonding time for me and my son! I have a chronic illness so for us to do this hike together is something that we will cherish forever. Walking, talking, and exploring this rainforest was a big hit. Thank you for offering this. Great & affordable shuttle to Diamond Head! The shuttle is very clean, comfortable and reliable.We were picked-up on time, the driver gave us instructions, a map and a bottle of water. The great thing about this tour is that you can walk at your own pace. The hike itself is easy, however towards the end there are some stairs. Walking through a lava tube was really cool. During the hike there are many lookout places with beautiful views of Oahu's south shore. You can see Waikiki, the mountains, downtown Honolulu & Koko Head from a distance and taking a lot of pictures. It was a great way to start my day. Thank you Kaimana Tours for such a great service and for taking me to one of Honolulu's top attractions, it's not everyday that you can tell your friends that your hiked am ancient volcano. I love Hawaii =)

Family fun!!...at Diamond Head!

I decided to take my entire family on a hike just to experience it and since we did not have a car rental planned, we decided to book a shuttle with Kaimana Tours! I was even more excited that they allowed us to bring my toddler (2 years old) as a lap child as long as we have a baby carrier, free of charge!

We were picked up by van on time directly from our hotel. The driver was very nice and friendly! The hike to the top was not too bad at all, even my girls enjoyed it (ages 8 & 10). Most of us are beginner hikers and the best part, the view of Waikiki was just breathtaking! I would definitely book Kaimana Tours again next time we visit! maybe go to Manoa Falls or Makapuu Point next time!! I will for sure recommend this to family and friends!

Easy and no hassle transport from Waikiki to Diamond Head. On time pick up, drops off at the visitors centre so you don’t have to walk from the bus stop. Good banter and information given by driver. Our driver arrived on time (to the minute) to our hotel pick up point. He was cordial and helped with the seat belt shoulder strap (due to passengers need to ingress the rear set of seats). He dropped us off and picked us up as planned. We had a very nice hike up to the lookout station and WWII bunkers on Diamond Head. The view was absolutely worth the trip! Veltra made the trip that much more enjoyable.

I am so glad we decided to take this hike through Veltra tours, we were provided with walking sticks (which you will definitely need), water and insect repellent. I am a 60 years young female with lower back arthritis, my girlfriend is 72 years young and we both survived and enjoyed it.. The scenery along the hike is beautiful. You should not wear your very nice gym shoes due to some mud and rocks along the way. Getting to the top (end of hike) seems to never come quick enough, but by the end of the hike when you see how beautiful the waterfall is, it becomes well worth it.

It was exciting walking through a rain forest and also a good cardio workout. Our group had walking sticks so it was beneficial where it was a bit rocky or wet. Just take your time going up or back down and enjoy the scenery.

Our guide explained us very kind and neatly so we understood well.
You must need a shoe to go with.( Some people went there by Beach sandals and slipping over the mud)

We were picked up on time by a friendly driver who explained everything we needed to know regarding our hike. He was right on with his explanation. We walked along with several others up the trails which we easy then got to some of the curves and switchbacks where the footing was a little difficult. Be sure to wear good tennis shoes or hiking boots not sandals or heels for this hike. We came to a series of steps that were steep then into a tunnel that was a few minutes long. Outside the tunnel there were 2 routes to the top. One set of steps much steeper than the other but can stop and rest along the way if needed. Once on the top the views were spectacular and well worth the climb. I'm 65 years old and have 3 stents in my hear and made this "moderate " hike with only a few stops. There are some rough areas in this hike so people with walkers, wheel chairs and buggies will not make it. We will definitely do this event next time we're in Hawaii. We did the hike up to the top, looked around for 15-20 minutes and hiked back down in 1 - 1/2 hours.
