We participated as a couple in our 60s. The hotel picked us up on time, explained the operation methods, and we started the sightseeing tour. The explanations were thorough, which made us feel at ease for departure. After that, we visited various places and received clear explanations through the earphones provided, gaining a lot of new knowledge. We also had many photos taken, which made us very satisfied. After returning, we looked at the map and were surprised by the long distance we traveled.

I think the participation fee is high because of the expensive cost of living in America, but it was a satisfying experience. Thank you very much.

ホテルには時間通り迎えにきてもらい操作方法を説明され観光スタート。丁寧に説明してもらい安心して出発できました。そのあとはいろんな場所を回り、用意していただいたイヤホンからわかりやすい説明してもらい新たな知識をいっぱいいただきました。またたくさんの写真も撮ってもらえて大満足でした。帰ってから地図をみて移動距離の長さにびっくりしました。
物価の高いアメリカだから参加費は高いと思いますが、満足できた体験でした。ありがとうございました。

It was my first time on a Segway, and I had a great time! The Segway itself was fun, and I definitely want to ride it again. The instructor was very good at talking, and it was really enjoyable to go around with him! I also got to fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hawaii, and I would love to join this tour again when I visit Hawaii next time!

My wife, my nephew, and I participated together. We drove to the store with a rental car, and there was parking available right in front of the store. As soon as we started practicing, my wife and I, having done this six times before, got the hang of it quickly, and then it was my nephew's turn, who was riding a Segway for the first time! Thanks to the guide's precise advice and thorough explanations, he was riding smoothly in just a few minutes. After that, some older participants were practicing as well, and they managed to ride quite quickly too. Once the practice was over, we started the ride in the order of the guide leading, followed by the older participants, my nephew, my wife, and then me! Riding the Segway felt amazing with the wind in our faces! The guide also took photos at key points, which made my nephew very happy. Finally, we had some free riding time at Kaka'ako Waterfront Park, which was also a lot of fun! However, I was worried because rain clouds were approaching from the Manoa area, and eventually, it started to rain. It wasn't heavy enough to need ponchos, but it looked like it might pour, and with the strong wind, it got cold, so we decided to retreat. It was a bit disappointing that we couldn't take our time returning, but even so, riding the Segway was fantastic! My nephew, who usually doesn't show much emotion, said he wanted to ride again next time!! He seemed to have a lot of fun. In addition to the joy of riding the Segway, we enjoyed the guide's sightseeing information and friendly, attentive service throughout the ride. 私と妻、甥の3人で参加。
店にはレンタカーで行きましたが店の前に駐車場もありました。
練習を始めてすぐに私と妻はセグウェイ自体は6回目なのですぐにOKが出て次は初セグウェイの甥！
それでもガイドさんの的確なアドバイスと丁寧な説明でものの数分でスイスイと乗れていました。
その後、少し年配の方も練習していましたが結構短時間で乗れていました。
練習が終わるとガイドさんを先頭に年配の方、甥、妻、私の順にライド開始！
セグウェイで走ると風がめちゃくちゃ気持ちいい！！
要所要所で撮影もしてくれて甥も喜んでいました。
最後にカカアコウォーターフロントパークの広場で自由ライド！
これもまた楽しいのです♪
が、マノア方面から雨雲が近づいて来ていたので心配していたのですがとうとう降って来ました。
ポンチョを着るほどの雨ではなかったものの強く振りそうなのと風が強く寒くなって来たので撤退です。
ゆっくりと帰れなかったのは少し残念でしたがそれを差し引いてもやはりセグウェイは最高です！
普段あまり感情を出さない甥も次もまた乗りたい！！
とかなり楽しかったようです。
セグウェイの楽しさに加え、ガイドさんのライド中の観光案内や丁寧かつフレンドリーな対応で尚更楽しめました。
ツアー後の駐車場の件も含め、この度は本当にありがとうございました。
お礼をいいに店に行きましたが不在でしたのでこの場をお借りして伝えさせていただきます。

I was surprised at how easy it was to ride a Segway during my first experience.

It felt like I could go anywhere, even to places that seemed a bit far for a walk, just by leaning my weight in the direction I wanted to go.

It's perfect for walking!

In the end, I just followed the guide and covered quite a distance while seeing various sights.

Segways are the best!!!

I participated because I wanted to experience something that I can't enjoy in Japan during my first trip to Hawaii. It rained from the morning of the reserved day, and I received a call first thing in the morning from Genie, who suggested, "Since the weather is bad today, let's change it to tomorrow afternoon!" The change turned out to be a great decision, as the next day was clear and sunny! The staff were very polite and taught us well, and even though I was nervous, I was able to ride smoothly and had a very enjoyable two hours! It was fun to feel the wind. Last year, when I came to Hawaii, I rode a Segway for the first time and had so much fun, so this year I participated for the second time. A flashy van picked me up at the hotel, so I recognized it right away. When we arrived at the shop, we started with signing the consent forms and then put on helmets, and each person began practicing slowly. Since I rode last year, I was surprisingly able to get on easily. The Japanese-speaking instructor was very friendly and engaging. Participants wear headsets, so we can always hear the instructor, which is reassuring. We actually rode on the road, going from Ala Moana Beach Park around Magic Island and checking out the art in Kaka'ako! It was so much fun that I want to ride again! Finally, I gave a tip and was taken back to the hotel!

Both my wife and I are in our late 50s, while the other two couples are younger. Although we both ride motorcycles, we were a bit worried about keeping up with the younger crowd. After a brief 10-minute lecture, we were ready to ride. I think the Japanese guide was very good at teaching.

Since we ride standing up, the view is great, and we moved at a jogging pace, which allowed us to look around leisurely. At Ala Moana Beach Park, we were allowed to go onto the grass, and it was a fun experience being waved at by people sunbathing on benches while also being chased away by park rangers.

The weather was nice, but the sun was strong, so I put on a UV-cut parka. The feeling of riding was indescribably strange; the sound of the motor just echoed with a whoosh. Without hard tires and suspension, the bumps in the road were transmitted directly to us.

We even had someone take a video of us while riding, and with a break in between, the roughly two hours flew by. Including tips, it was quite an expense, but it turned out to be a unique experience. I would love to ride again.

音が、ヒュ〜ンと響くだけ。
硬いタイヤとサスペンションがないので路面の凸凹が
ダイレクトに伝わってきます。
途中で乗っているところの動画を撮ってもらったり、
休憩を挟んで、およそ2時間があっと言う間でした。
チップを含めると結構な出費でしたが、なかなかできない
体験になりました。
また乗りたいと思います。

I enjoyed it more than I expected. You can leave your luggage at the office, but there is space in front of the Segway where you can store small bags. They suggest a tip of 15% or more, but it seems you don't have to follow that if you don't want to. By the way, tips can also be paid by card, which was helpful since I didn't have any cash.

I participated yesterday on my honeymoon. I was grateful that they taught my wife and me how to use the Segway with great care and attention. I experienced a 2-hour Magic Island tour. I could feel the Hawaiian breeze, and the guides were friendly, which made me very satisfied. The Segway has a pouch, so you can carry valuables and towels. It was easier to ride than I expected. After just a few minutes of instruction, we were able to ride and set off with a small group!

Two staff members were assigned to lead and ensure safety, allowing us to move smoothly. The leading staff also took videos and photos of our group with our personal cameras, which was great because it meant we had proper records of our experience, not just riding.

We took various explanations and commemorative photos along the way, and the time flew by.

I still wanted to ride more, so I thought I would like to come back again.

After we finished riding, we were grateful to receive cold drinks and fruit. However, on the final survey form, there was a note about tipping, and some people in our group said they hadn’t been informed about it until the very end. While I understand that tipping is customary in Hawaii, I believe this should be clearly stated somewhere, and the survey form, which seemed to demand a tip of 20-30% of the tour fee like a restaurant, should be revised.

If this information were communicated clearly to customers before they sign up, I don’t think we would have had complaints like those from our group. It’s also important to ensure that the fun mood at the end isn’t dampened.

乗り終わったら冷たい飲み物やフルーツも頂き有り難かったですが、最後のアンケートの用紙にチップが記載されており、私以外は団体グループで最後の最後に聞いてないと言う人達がいました、たしかにハワイでのチップはあると思いますが、チップの件はどこかに記載するべきだと思いますし、レストランのようにいきなりツアー料金の20〜30%のチップをよこせと言わんばかりのアンケート用紙も変更した方が良いと思いました。

まずは申し込む前のお客さんにしっかり伝わるようにしていただいていたら、今回の団体さんみたいな苦情までは行かないとは思います、最後の最後に楽しかった気分をかえさないようにするのも必要ですね。

First day in Hawaii. My son and I were looking forward to the Segway tour. The moment I met the person who came to pick us up and greeted them, I had a good feeling that today would be a great day! That feeling was spot on! We got to see the beautiful ocean, and the guide and staff were very kind. The conversations during the Segway ride were really enjoyable, creating wonderful memories. Even I, who am not good at sports, had a great time riding. The wind felt wonderful, it was the best! It was so much fun, and we had a blast as a family. There’s a Giovanni's in the food court near the Segway shop where we enjoyed garlic shrimp. The area is filled with murals, and we had an efficient and enjoyable half day. Next time, I want to join the morning session.

The guide was raised in Japan and speaks Japanese fluently, making jokes and chatting really well. My 70-year-old mother wanted to experience this, so we signed up. I was worried since it was her first time on a Segway, but the guide taught her kindly and patiently, and we had plenty of practice. We rode along a really pleasant course by the sea in Honolulu, enjoying the scenery, and the guide's assistance was wonderful. It turned out to be an amazing time. I definitely want to recommend this. It was the best tour during our five days in Hawaii. The guide supported my mother while she rode the Segway, so she felt at ease the whole time. After a few minutes of practice in the parking lot, we headed out onto the public road. Riding a Segway around the Ala Moana area while feeling the breeze was so much fun! We participated as a family of three, looking for a Segway experience that even our 13-year-old child could enjoy. We toured downtown, Chinatown, Izumo Taisha, and the courthouse, and it was incredibly fun.
