Oahu Guided Island Sightseeing Tour

This is well worth the time and money. Had a wonderful dip in the waterfall pool
and our guide was funny, informed and chill. Do it!

The Xplore ride was really fun and brought out the kid in me! If you know a little about VR and Mixed Reality, this experience starts off with Mixed Reality with nice fish and marine life around you and some light educat... moreional sections on Waikiki and the beaches. The ride does transition into full VR at times with underwater volcanic vents, above ground volcanic eruption, a 360 visual aerial view above the islands (nice!), and an underwater route with all sorts of aquatic creatures around you, known to be local to the islands and some nice coral (this was my favorite part). There is more light educational pieces dispersed in these full on VR parts as well. The movement of the bus really gives you the sense of “traveling” through the VR worlds and even the fish “swimming” through the bus in Mixed Reality was enhanced by the movement. Our host was wonderful and really explained everything well! The driver was very friendly too. The experience can be heard in Japanese or English. Too me, the only negative, though the headsets are of very high quality, was the pass through video of the outside was a bit unfocused when it was too far in the distance (like the ocean views near Diamond Head). Final thoughts are that it is definitely worth it and please consider supporting this business and others that bring the beauty of nature and the immersion of technology and imagination together!

We had a wonderful experience as a family of 10 on our tour to Waimea Valley! The breakfast was a great start! Our tour guide, Jason, was full of great facts as we drove along the way to our destinations! Weimea definite... morely exceeded my expectations in beauty! Jason shared facts about the flora and fauna surrounding us. The walked is paved but does have some inclines along the way. The walk was great for the whole family but my elderly parents had to move slower behind the group at their own pace. The waterfall was perfect. There is “audience style seating” for families to sit if not swimming and to place items. Life jackets are required and provided which was nice and the life guards that are on duty are very helpful. The tour gives 30 minutes to enjoy the waterfall swimming which was a great amount of time. Lunch was then given after a walk back to the entrance of Waimea. Although lunch is provided and was very good- for picky eaters or hungry along the way- there are snack bars and a walk up style restaurant to order other food.
After leaving Waimea we went to Dole where we had plenty of time to walk around the gift shop and enjoy our Dole Whip. This tour was a hit with the family and definitely would recommend it!

A truly unique experience. As you board the spacious and comfortable bus in Waikiki the staff prepares you for your journey. You are given a virtual reality headset that is adjustable and comfortable. The virtual reality... more is interactive, and educational. As the bus is moving it actually feels like your body is moving through the experience. The colors, animals, and sounds felt so real!

Would not recommend if you are prone to motion sickness. Would recommend if you are interested in virtual reality, and enjoy a fun ride. Comparable to a smooth rollercoaster.

Our tour guide “D” was so friendly, kind, informative, and very considerate. We had many stops for different tastes of Hawaii. The tasting started with Malasadas from the Leonard’s food truck. We also stopped at a macada... moremia nut farm that also had this sweet little pearl shop where I bought gifts for my daughters and myself. The best part for me was when we stopped at a beach to try and see turtles and my family did spot some playful ones! We stopped and had garlic shrimp for lunch which was delicious and filling and we ended the day shopping in Haleiwa Town. I think we stopped at like 3 beaches and the Blowhole. It was a whirlwind and a little taste of everything!

I had the best time on this tour. Our tour guide was amazing he was the best. The waterfall was awesome to swim in but you had to walk at least 30 min to get there which was not a bad hike at all. The scenery was beautif... moreul and I even got a glimpse of a peacoke. The tour paid for coffee breakfast and lunch which was delicious. After the hike we went to Dole Plantation for dole whip which is pineapple ice cream.
