I was a bit anxious about the language barrier, but the driver could speak a little, which was reassuring. The two crew members on the boat couldn't speak, but it wasn't a problem at all. The boat trip included four families, all of whom were Japanese. When it was our turn on the boat, they asked if we wanted to take pictures. I forgot the exact amount, but after getting off the boat, they gave us an SD card with the photos. We also gave a tip when we got off the boat, so some cash was necessary. During the parasailing, we went down to the water's surface, so we got wet, but the weather was great that day, and it became a wonderful memory. I highly recommend it!

We experienced parasailing at 150 meters for the first time at the request of my daughters, who are in 6th and 4th grade. We signed up for the 1 PM session and were a bit anxious due to reviews about delays in transportation, but a cheerful driver arrived right on time to pick us up.
The view of Diamond Head and Waikiki during the parasailing was amazing and refreshing! My husband and I, who are afraid of heights, were quite nervous due to the altitude, but our daughters were absolutely thrilled. I'm glad we chose the 150 meters! At the end, thanks to the veteran captain's skill, we were gently dropped into the water. Everyone in the tour was watching, and he made sure our heads didn't go under the water! We departed with five groups, including my family. My five-year-old daughter and I were the second group. As we floated up, we quickly ascended, and a wonderful view unfolded before us. It felt like sitting on a swing, so even my five-year-old daughter could enjoy it. However, by the time we reached the fourth and fifth groups, even those of us who usually don’t get motion sickness found it quite tough. This was my second time parasailing, so I decided to challenge myself at the highest altitude of 150 meters! Up I went smoothly into the sky. It felt amazing! I thought, "Oh, this isn't so high," but after a while... wait, am I going up again? It's so high! I don't mind heights, but it's a bit scary... However, I was able to enjoy a lot of time in the air, and by the end, I felt like I could go even higher! I'm really glad I chose the highest option. My wife, who isn't fond of heights, seemed to enjoy it while saying it was scary, especially since we were with our child. And then, at the end, we plunged into the sea! In late August, it was sunny. We participated as a couple with two middle school students. It was everyone's first time parasailing. I tend to get motion sickness, so I took some anti-nausea medication, but it was nice that there were only a few of us, just our family and two foreign sisters. (The people who rode after us were a large group, so I felt like I might get seasick while waiting for them to finish... Either way, it's better to take the medication. The boat sways quite a bit!)
I didn't talk much with the captain, but he was a nice person, and the instructor was funny and kind, making the conversation enjoyable! (He understands a little Japanese and seems familiar with Japanese people, so I think it's fine even if you can't speak English.)
Our family and the sisters were all dropped into the sea at the beginning or the end! That was fun too. I was chatting with the instructor before we started, and it naturally led to, "Well, we have to drop you into the water, Japan!" I don't know how it usually goes, but if you really want to be dropped into the sea, it might be good to express that desire.
The view from 150 meters was amazing! When the boat swayed, I couldn't help but scream like it was an amusement park ride. Haha. I wasn't worried about falling at all. I put my smartphone in a waterproof case hanging around my neck and recorded videos, but since there was some swaying, please ensure your own safety while filming. (If you're anxious about operating it up there, it might be a good idea to keep the camera rolling from before takeoff until landing. I can't guarantee the quality, but it's one way to do it.)
Also, we had to wait until the previous group returned before we could board the moving boat, and after boarding (only those buying the photo SD had to line up), but it didn't feel like we waited too long at all.
I would love to try again with the same captain and instructor!

全員初めてのパラセーリング。私は酔いやすく酔い止めを飲みましたが、うちと外国のお姉さん2人だけの少数だったのも良かった。(私達の後に乗ってた人達は大人数だったから、他の人がやってる間に船酔いしそうで…どっちにしても酔い止め飲んだ方がいいです。船はかなり揺れます！)
船長さんとはそんなに話さなかったけど良い人だったし、インストラクターの人は面白いし優しくてお喋りが楽しかったです！(日本語も少し通じますし日本人にも慣れてらっしゃる感じですので英語話せなくても大丈夫だと思います。)
私達家族もお姉さん達も最初か最後に海に落とされました！それも楽しかったです。私はやる前にインストラクターさんとお喋りしてて、じゃあジャポンと落とさないとね〜という流れに自然となったので普段がどうかわかりませんが、絶対海に入れてほしい人は一言やってほしい気持ちを伝えるといいかもしれませんね。
150mからの景色は最高でした！
揺れたりするとアトラクションのようにキャーキャー言ってしまいます。笑。落ちる心配は全然無かったです。首から下げる防水ケースにスマホ入れて動画なども撮りましたが、揺れもあるのでご自身で安全を確認しながら撮って下さい。(上で操作するのが不安な方は、飛ぶ前から降りるまでずっと動画回しっぱなしでもいいかもしれませんね。ちゃんと撮れるかわかりませんが一つの方法として。)
あと、移動するボートに乗るまで( 前の人達のボートが戻ってこないと私達がいけない入れ替え制でした)と乗ったあと(写真のSDを買う人だけですが並んで順番)に待たされますが、すごく待たされた感じは無かったです。
また同じ船長さんとインストラクターさんでトライしたいです。

We signed up for parasailing at 9:00 with three people, but one person was unwell, so we participated with two. The pickup was a bit late... We boarded the boat with three families, and there was a pouch with instructions for Japanese guests. They asked if we wanted to take photos. I thought $30 was too much, so I declined. I referred to the experiences beforehand. Following the advice, I gave motion sickness medication to my children who are prone to getting seasick before boarding, but only my eldest daughter ended up feeling seasick among the three kids. I made a reservation for 120 meters, and I think it was indeed 120 meters, but I felt a thrill and excitement that made it feel even higher. Ultimately, if you get friendly with the captain, he seems willing to accommodate requests on a whim. This is because the operation of the parasailing (managing the wires and adjusting the boat's speed) depends on the captain's skills, and in my case, it was outstanding (he operated the boat while singing along to the background music!).
Both the captain and the crew member were locals, and they could understand some basic Japanese, while basic English was also sufficient for communication.
Another memorable aspect was the Japanese person who provided transportation. He had a slightly suspicious vibe with his broken Japanese, but it was amusing, and he was quite kind, which made for a good memory in a way.
One point to note is that the boat goes quite fast and can be quite bumpy (the parasailing itself can also be shaky), so if you are prone to motion sickness, I think taking motion sickness medication is essential.

結局は船長さんと仲良くなれば、ノリでリクエストに答えてくれる感じがありました。というのもパラセイリングの操作(ワイヤーの操作、ボートの速度調整)は船長の操船技術次第ですが、私の時は抜群でした。(BGM流し歌いながらボートを運航！）
船長、クルー(１名)いずれも現地の方でしたが、片言の日本語は通じますし、片言の英語でも十分通じます。
また他に印象的だったのは、送迎の日系の方です。片言の日本語で若干胡散臭い感じがしたのですが、それがまた面白く、それでいて結構親切で、ある意味良い思い出となりました。
注意点としては、ボートが速度も出て結構揺れるので、(パラセイリング自体も揺れますが）、酔いやすい方は、酔い止めは必須と思います。

We participated as a family of four. Since we chose the 150m option, it felt quite high and gave the impression of going far up. The boat crew was cheerful, and we had a great time. Yano, who provided our transportation, was the best. We had a bit of time before boarding, but during the wait, we were told to cool off in the car, and after docking, they offered us drinks, showing great hospitality.
One thing to note is that the boat sways quite a bit, so motion sickness medication is a must. Even so, both of my adult daughters were feeling unwell.

It was the best honeymoon!
This time, I participated in the 150m experience.
The boat driver was friendly and had a great vibe, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Also, the person at the reception counter spoke Japanese, so I felt安心して参加する事が出来ました.
We gathered directly at the yacht harbor, but there were no large, clear signs for Beltra, so I think it would be better if there were more prominent signs displayed.

I had done parasailing in Guam before, but since it was my husband's first time, we participated together!! We were both super excited!! The view of Honolulu's skyline and Diamond Head from above the ocean was thrilling!! My husband seemed a bit scared (laughs). I was dropped into the sea about three times, but it felt great for a moment!! Mahalo!!

I participated with my sister's family of four and my son, making a total of six people. Originally, it was planned for just my son and me to do the 90M, but due to strong winds, it was deemed unsafe for my 7-year-old son and me, so we were advised to do the 150M with my sister's family in two groups of three instead. We ended up flying without much time to mentally prepare.
Once we ascended to a certain height and got a bit more comfortable, we went up further to 150M. As I leaned back into the harness and got used to the position, I was able to enjoy the view of the distant Honolulu downtown skyline and Diamond Head.
The staff were all very friendly, and it became a wonderful memory. If you're interested in parasailing, I highly recommend this tour.
妹家族4人と私と息子の6人で参加しました。
元々は、息子と2人で90Mの予定でしたが、風が強いので7歳の息子と母親では、危ないという理由で、妹家族と3人×2回で150Mにした方がいいと船で出てから言われ、心の準備も出来ないままに飛ぶ事になりました。
ある程度の高さまで上がって、少し落ち着いて慣れたところまた更に上がって150M
体をロープに預けて体勢も慣れてくると遠くホノルルダウンタウンのビル群やダイヤモンドヘッドなど景色を楽しむことが出来ました。
スタッフも皆さんとても感じが良く、良い思い出になりました。

I participated with my husband and our third-grade son! My husband is not a fan of things like roller coasters, so I was a bit worried at first. However, it turned out to be really great. Up in the sky at a height of 150 meters, it was very quiet, and he seemed to really enjoy the beauty of the ocean and the pleasant breeze. When we got back, he had a satisfaction level of 120%!

It was a great experience that both children and adults could enjoy. The staff were cheerful and helped create a fun atmosphere for all participants. The view of Waikiki from the ocean is also wonderful. However, it was disappointing that the start time was delayed by 30 minutes because I had to call after 10 minutes of waiting for the pickup, and it ended up being about 20 minutes late. The boat sways quite a bit, so those who are prone to motion sickness should definitely take some anti-nausea medication.
