This was my first time participating.

Check-in was scheduled for 8:30 AM, so I arrived at that time. It seems that check-in actually started at that time, so it would have been fine to arrive around 9 AM. Since I was the first to check in, I had quite a bit of waiting time. I wish I had played at the nearby beach...

We moved to two submarines located on the sea using a larger boat with a restroom. From there, we split into two groups to board.

As expected of the waters in Hawaii. The waves were high, so the boat rocked quite a bit. Please be cautious of seasickness. My wife apparently wasn't in the mood to enjoy the submarine experience due to seasickness.

The submarine itself was very good. We were able to see a sunken ship and a submerged Zero fighter, which was quite surreal.

It seems to be a popular tour, as there were many people.

It was really neat getting to see the airplane and ships that were down there as well as getting the chance to see about 4 sea turtles and even a small shark! I participated in the 10 AM session with my 4-year-old son. The guide, who has experience scuba diving in Japan, was fantastic! He encouraged my son, who was scared to go down the stairs to the submarine, saying, "It's not scary—it's exciting!" The guide was also fluent in Japanese and shared a lot of interesting details about the ocean, likely due to his scuba diving experience. Although the view was somewhat monochrome, my son was thrilled every time we got closer to the reef, exclaiming, "It's the fish's house!" I recommend bringing a jacket since it gets cold in the submarine. The round-trip boat ride was quite bumpy, but I didn't get seasick since I stayed on the second deck. According to the staff, it's easier to get seasick on the first floor. You could buy commemorative photos with a card, but it seems cash is the main method of payment. We even saw turtles from the boat, making it a very satisfying tour.
