Beautiful relaxing evening. Free-flowing drinks. Thoroughly enjoyable sail.

It departs from in front of Waikiki Beach, so the atmosphere is very nice. Unlike large vessels, you can feel the refreshing breeze and the sense of openness is fantastic. The music is great, and the vibe was the best.
When getting on and off the yacht, there are times when you might get wet up to your pants. Be careful.

We had a wonderful time on the cruise, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the atmosphere and music on board, didn't expect to get drenched on some big waves, but we had a blast. Would highly recommend the cruise!!!

It would be nice if the back ground music was not exist. Since the sailing time only with soft wave sound, would be my best prefered environment.

I had wanted to go on the Mai Tai Catamaran since last year. It departs right in front of the Sheraton where I was staying. The two skippers were really enthusiastic and it was a lot of fun. There were three groups of Japanese participants, including a baby. The sunset was breathtakingly beautiful.

去年から行きたかったマイタイカタマラン号。宿泊していたシェラトンの真ん前から出航します。スキッパーの二人がノリノリで楽しかったです。
日本人は3組参加。赤ちゃんもいました。サンセットは息を呑む美しさでした。

My wife and I participated together. We went out to sea on a catamaran, enjoyed snorkeling, made our way to the surfboard relying on our safety lines, and spent a thrilling half day. During sunset, they played ballads, and we were able to have a wonderful time. The cost performance was excellent. Thank you ❤️

妻と二人で参加させて頂きました。カタマランで沖に出て、シュノーケリングを楽しんで、命綱を頼りにサーフボードまでたどり着き、スリリングな半日を過ごしました。サンセットタイムにはバラードを流して頂き素敵な時間を過ごすことが出来ました。コスパ最高でした。ありがとう❤️

Went on this sunset cruise with my wife on our honeymoon and gotta say it was definitely a highlight! Big Ryan was super cool too

The people operating the cruise made it fantastic! I wouldn’t think any other sunset sail would be as good as what these three gentlemen did. Would recommend to everyone.

It's a very convenient boat trip to consider entering the sea, starting from a location near the canal's seaside exit, within walking distance from our hotel. We returned still in our swimsuits.

We moved out to Waikiki Beach (about a 10-minute ride?), enjoyed activities like diving and playing in the sea, and by the time we were fully satisfied, it was sunset. We watched the sun sink into the ocean on our way back. The timing was just right. The water temperature was neither too cold nor too warm. I realized that it's easier to float in the sea than in the pool.

The boat had a bar counter where you could buy drinks. The crew was cheerful and serious, making us feel safe and able to enjoy ourselves. I recommend taking motion sickness medication in advance.

運河の海側の出口近く、我々のホテルから歩けるところからの出発で、海に入ることを考えるととても便利な船遊びです。帰りも水着のままで帰ってきました。
ワイキキビーチ沖まで移動して(10分くらい？)、飛び込みなど海遊びをして、満喫した頃に日没の時間。海に沈む夕日を眺めて帰ってくる。時間配分もちょうどよかったです。水温は冷たすぎず、ぬる過ぎず。海の方がプールより浮きやすいのを実感しました。
船には、バーカウンターがあり、飲み物を買うことができます。
クルーはみな陽気で真面目な印象で、安心して楽しめました。
事前の酔い止め服用は、お勧めします。

We participated with a family of eight right at sunset! It was amazing to enjoy the beautiful scenery while sipping on our favorite drinks like Mai Tais and pineapple juice! Families with small children were having fun going in and out of the deck and the room. We were able to leave our bags in the room and enjoy ourselves freely on the deck with drinks in hand. The restrooms were separated by gender, which was reassuring.
Next time I go to Hawaii, I definitely want to join again at sunset!

ちょうどサンセットの時間帯に家族8人で参加しました！　マイタイ、パイナップルジュース…それぞれが好きなドリンクを飲みながら本当に素敵な景色で最高でした！小さなお子さんを連れて参加の方はデッキに出たり部屋に入ったりして楽しまれてました。荷物も部屋に置くことができてドリンクを片手にデッキの好きな所で自由にそれぞれが楽しんでいました。トイレも男女別々にあって安心できました。
次ハワイに行った時もまたサンセットの時間に参加したいです！

There are various sunset cruises, but I chose this one because it also offers water activities. There were hardly any Japanese people, but it was more fun than I imagined! Two cute dogs greeted us. I'm not great with animals, but they were very calm, so it was totally fine. We jumped into the sea from the boat using a slide and floated on a float! We were lucky to see a big double rainbow! Drinks are available for a fee starting at $3. I enjoyed a cocktail. It says no outside food or drink, but there were people with their own bottles. There's a shop in the harbor waiting area after check-in, so some people bought shave ice or soft serve and ate while boarding. There are plenty of floats to attach around your waist, so even if you're not a strong swimmer, I think you'll enjoy it. Please make sure to wear a swimsuit!

サンセットクルーズは色々ありますが、海遊びもできるとの事で選びました。
日本人はほとんどいなかったけど、想像以上に楽しかった！
可愛いワンチャンが2匹お出迎え。わたくし動物は苦手ですが、とても大人しいので全然大丈夫でした。
ボートから海にスライダーで飛び込んだり、フロートで浮いたり！大きなダブルレインボーも見えてラッキー！
ドリンクは有料で3ドルから。私はカクテルを楽しみました。持ち込み不可とありますがマイボトル持ってる人もいましたよ。受付後のハーバーの待合でショップがあるのでシェイブアイスやソフトクリームを買って、食べながら乗り込む人も。
腰に付けるフロートがたくさんあるので、(ライフジャケットは限りあるかな？)泳ぎが苦手でも楽しめると思います。ぜひ水着着用で参加してください！

We set sail at 5:30 PM while it was still bright, enjoying the view of Waikiki from the sea, which is something you don't often get to see, along with free drinks. We also enjoyed the changing sunset, and the staff took photos for us. By the time we returned to Waikiki, it was completely nighttime, and we were able to enjoy the various views of the Waikiki skyline from the sea.

まだ明るいじかんの17:30に出港で、普段はなかなか見ることの少ない海からのワイキキの景色を楽しみながらフリードリンクをいただきました。
変わりゆくサンセットも堪能しスタッフの方が写真撮影もしてくださいました。
ワイキキに戻る時間はすっかり夜景時間となり、イロイロな海からのワイキキの街並みも楽しめました。

I felt strong swells at the beach, but it was completely calm offshore. I only remembered going out to see the sunset and coming back before, but this time we cruised all the way around Diamond Head while enjoying the sunset, fully savoring the refreshing experience on the catamaran. It was only in English, but there were no particular issues. The free soft drink was a very light pineapple flavor? (laughs) That wasn't the main purpose, so it was just a little charm. I went on the last day, and it was casual and a fitting way to cap off the final day; it was a great trip. I absolutely recommend it.

浜辺ではうねりが強い感じがしましたが沖は全く静か。以前は沖に出て夕陽を見て帰って来ただけの記憶でしたが、ダイヤモンドヘッドの裏側まで夕陽を見ながらずーっとクルーズ、めいっぱいカタマランでの爽快感を堪能できました。英語のみですが特に問題はなかったです。フリーのソフトドリンクはうすーいパイナップル味？笑。それが目的ではないのでそこもご愛嬌。最後の日に行きましたが気軽ですし最終日を飾るにふさわしい、良い旅でした。
絶対おすすめです。

I participated with my wife and two daughters, a total of four people. Most of the participants were from overseas, and we were probably the only Japanese family there. I was the only one in my family drinking alcohol, so I had the famous Mai Tai while the other three enjoyed soft drinks. The waves were relatively calm, so it didn't sway as much as I had worried it would. I enjoyed my drink while being blown by the wind, and the pleasantness made me keep drinking, leading to about five or six more Mai Tais and sparkling wines. Unfortunately, the cloud conditions were a bit poor, so I couldn't see the "perfect sunset," but I was able to see a big rainbow, making it a very satisfying boat trip.

妻と2人の娘、計4人で参加しました。
参加者のほとんどが海外の方で、日本人はおそらく私たち家族だけでした。
家族の中でお酒を飲むのは私だけだったので、私は名物マイタイを、あとの3人はソフトドリンクを頂きました。
波が比較的穏やかだったので心配していたほど揺れることもなく、風に吹かれながら美味しく飲み、あまりの気持ち良さに酒も進んでマイタイのおかわりやスパークリングワインなど5、6杯も頂いてしまいました。
残念ながら雲の条件がやや悪く“100点満点の夕陽”は拝めませんでしたが、大きな虹を見ることができ、大満足の船旅になりました。

My partner and i thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Stevie and the crew were amazing and made the trip so enjoyable.

We had a great time on the sunset cruise. It was really easy and relaxing. And what a sunset!

I participated five years ago and had such a great time that this time I joined with my parents and my brother's family, a total of ten people. The view of the Waikiki hotel district from the ocean side was refreshing, and we could see Diamond Head up close. The sunset was incredibly beautiful. The kids and my father had so much fun and were very happy, saying they want to participate again.

This time the waves were high, and I got a little seasick, but that's also a good memory.

5年前に参加し、とても良かったので今回は親と弟家族総勢10名で参加しました。海側から見るワイキキのホテル街も新鮮だし、ダイヤモンドヘッドも近くで見られるし、夕日が沈むのがとても綺麗でした。子供達も父も凄く楽しかった・また参加したいと大喜びでした。
今回は波が高くてちょっと酔ってしまいましたが、それも良い思い出です。

As mentioned in the description, there was an exciting thrill like an attraction. It was very fun with splashes of water. The sunset was beautiful, and I was able to fully enjoy the Hawaiian sea. The explanations during the cruise were only in English, and Japanese was hardly understood. Since there were people from small children to the elderly, I think a wide range of people can enjoy it. Although it says unlimited alcohol, they only provide one type of cocktail, and it seemed difficult to get anything else. Since they serve while navigating, it might be understandable, but it’s quite strong, so be careful not to drink too much.

アルコール飲み放題とありますが、提供するのは一種類のカクテルで、その他はなかなかもらえなそうな雰囲気でした
操縦しながらの提供なので仕方ないかもしれないけど、結構キツめなので飲み過ぎ注意です

I made a reservation for the daytime course. It was good that I could see things from a distance several times. However, the guidance for the boarding area was not clear, and everyone participating was looking for it. This point needs improvement.

昼間のコースに予約。何回か遠くに見ることはできたのでよかった。乗り場の案内がはっきりしていなくて、参加の皆様も探している状況でした。この点は改善が必要。

Both the cruising and the sunset were a lot of fun thanks to the friendly staff. I got to take the helm for a little while and even had a commemorative photo taken.

クルージングもサンセットも親切なスタッフのお陰でとても楽しかったです。

It had been a while since I celebrated my 60th birthday in Hawaii, and I participated in a sunset sailing tour.
There were only my wife and me as the two Japanese participants, which made me a bit anxious, but despite getting soaked from the splashes, we were able to enjoy the sunset while drinking delicious beer and Mai Tais.

During the time I stayed, the sunset was positioned more to the right, making it difficult to see from Waikiki due to buildings obstructing the view. However, on this cruise, I was able to see the sunset beautifully! It was a wonderful experience.

私が滞在した時期はサンセットが右寄りに見えるため、ワイキキからは建物などで遮られて見えづらい時期でした。でもこのクルーズだときれいにサンセットが見られました！とても良い経験でした。

Great professional sailors and coast guard certified crew. Great “Holokai Hooch”, gotta be careful, that hooch will sneak up on you, especially if you mix it with champagne for that carbonated kick hehe!

Great romantic time with my husband, watched the sunset as sugar ray played lightly in the background. We are a young couple but we love 90s music!

The only drawback is that the trip was too short.

Would definitely do it again, maybe try to nudge them to stay sailing a little longer.

This is a plan for an easy sunset cruising experience. The departure is from the back of the Prince Hotel. There’s a trolley stop nearby, making it convenient.

While Japanese is not spoken, it’s fine to ask questions as needed. You can wait comfortably at a nearby food stall area until departure. There are also restrooms available.

The safety agreement can be completed in advance or you can scan a QR code on-site. The page is in English, but it’s not too difficult, so it should take about 10 minutes to finish. You can complete it for your children as well.

The boat is a larger catamaran, and there is a restroom on board. Drinks can be purchased at the bar counter on the boat, but there is no food available.

After about 40 minutes out at sea, you will stop to wait for the sunset. During this time, everyone can jump into the water and have fun. Life jackets and floatation devices (the kind used in swimming classes) are available, but there are only a few and they are old.

■Preparation: If you want to enjoy yourself, be sure to bring floaties, snorkeling gear, etc. Also, as it can get cool (even chilly) on the boat when the sun sets, it’s essential to have a towel to dry off and a jacket. Regarding drinks, generally, outside drinks are not allowed, but it seems okay to sneak in a water bottle or something easy to consume (it’s not as strict as in Japan).

手軽なサンセットクルージングが出来るプランです。出航はプリンスホテルの裏側から。トロリーも近くに止まるので便利です。
日本語は通じませんが、適当に聞いておけばOKです。出航までは隣にある屋台村みたいなところで座って待っていれば大丈夫。トイレもあります。
安全の合意書は事前でもいいですし、その場でQRを読み込めんでも対応可能です。英語のページですが、そんなに難しくもないので10分くらいで完了。子供の分もセットで完了できます。
船は大きめの双胴船（ボート）です。中にトイレがあります。飲み物は船内のバーカウンターで購入可能。食べ物は基本ありません。
沖に出て40分くらい、夕日を待ちながら停留します。その間に皆、海の飛び込んで遊びます。一応、ライフジャケットと浮き具（水泳教室で使うような紐で括り付けるやつ）はありますが、数も少なく、古いです。
■準備：きちんと遊びたいなら、浮き輪、シュノーケリングセットなどをしっかりと持っていってください。また、日が落ちてくると船上は夏でも涼しい（寒いくらい）になることもおおいため、体を拭くタオルはもちろん、上着も必須です。飲み物については、基本は持ち込み不可ですが、カバンにペットボトルを忍ばせる、簡単に口にほうり込めるものを忍ばせるのは大丈夫そうです（日本ほどうるさくない）

The cruise was a great experience! The captain was very good and friendly and the first mate was incredible setting up the boat, pouring drinks, taking pics, and being super friendly. This is definitely worth the price and much more, highly recommend!

This is my second time participating.
I can't speak English, but it's fun!
My 80-year-old mother joined me, and the staff and others around us supported us when getting on the catamaran.
We boarded while avoiding the waves from the sandy beach, but we still ended up getting wet up to our stomachs. Even in mid-July, the night breeze was cooler than I expected, so the beach towel I borrowed from the hotel came in handy as a blanket.
The fireworks were very beautiful, but the view of the hotel cluster at night from the boat was also lovely.
What stayed in my heart was unexpectedly how beautiful the stars floating in the night sky were.

英語は出来ないけど、楽しい！
８０歳の母も一緒でしたが、カタマランに乗り込む際、スタッフ他周りの方もサポートしてくれました。
砂浜から波を避けながら乗りこみますが、やっぱりお腹の辺りまで濡れてしまいました。７月中旬でも夜風は思った以上に涼しかったので、ホテルで借りておいたビーチタオルがブランケット代わりにもなり役に立ちました。
花火もとっても綺麗ですが、船上から眺める夜のホテル群もとても素敵です。
そして、夜空に浮かぶ星々が思いがけず美しかったのが、心に残りました。

A great late afternoon experience. Hats-off to the crew for their organisation, quality of experience and setup on the cat. The kids were entertained on the foredeck (pitching seas seemed to be their gig) with the fore cargo nets, the music was great (well, our era anyway). The drinks were appropriate for the event...champers, beer and "boat mix". All were totally acceptable.
We thoroughly enjoyed the sunset "open bar" cruise and would definitely do it again.

It was a cruise where we went out to sea while listening to music and then returned. It was quite hot under the strong sun while the sun was high, but it became chilly as it set, so a jacket was necessary. Along the way, the boat stopped, and quite a few people jumped into the sea. Since there were many foreigners on the cruise, the atmosphere was lively and fun!

We went quite far out, and we could see the scenery beyond Diamond Head. However, it gets pretty bumpy out there, so I think it's safer to take motion sickness medication.

I heard that you need to fill out a waiver online in advance, but I didn't receive the email, and when I tried to scan the QR code on-site, it didn't work well either. I had printed the waiver and brought it with me, so I was fine, but for those who don't receive the email, I recommend contacting them in advance or bringing a paper copy.

音楽を流しながら沖まで行って帰ってくるクルーズでした。陽が高いうちは日差しが強く暑かったですが、沈んでくると肌寒く上着が必要でした。途中、船を停めてくれるので、海に飛び込んでいる人も結構いました。外国人が多いクルーズなので、テンションは高く楽しかったです！
結構遠くの方まで行くので、ダイヤモンドベッドを超えた辺りの景色まで見ることができました。
ただ沖の方は結構揺れるので、酔い止めを飲んでおいた方が安心かと思います。
事前に誓約書をwebで記載するそうなのですが、メールでくるはずが私は届かず、現地でQRコードを読み込んで試しましたがそれも上手くできませんでした。私は誓約書を印刷して持って行っていたので、それで事なきを得ましたが、メールが届かない方は事前に問い合わせるか、紙で持参すると良いと思います。
