I participated in this casual and affordable tour off the coast of Waikiki with low expectations. It was a 7:30 AM tour, but when the time came, the staff from Pink Sails Waikiki had not shown up, and there was no sign, which made me anxious. Half of the passengers were American, while the rest were from Asia and India, with three groups of Japanese.

The boat was a catamaran, which had less rocking, but it seems that you can get closer to the whales on a smaller boat. Therefore, binoculars are essential. This was my second time on the Sunset Catamaran. After setting sail, we could see the hotels along Waikiki Beach beautifully. Captain Nick and crew showed us a great time on our fourth consecutive annual November sunset cruise. Each one is a little different vibe. Sunday appears to be the best day for a more peaceful vibe. Great interaction with Captain and crew. The food is OK (catered boxes) but we started scheduling a post-cruise restaurant dinner last year at nearby Fresco and enjoyed that again this year. We plan to take this cruise every year!

I was able to see beautiful sunsets and rainbows, creating truly wonderful memories of Hawaii. The staff's service was also fantastic, and they really lifted our spirits! We participated with our 0-year-old child, and everything went smoothly. However, I got quite seasick, so I recommend that those who are prone to motion sickness bring some medication!

We participated as three couples over 60. Two of the couples were first-timers, so I was worried if they would enjoy it. Some participants took motion sickness medication, but the stunning scenery made us forget about seasickness. With unlimited drinks (especially the special drinks made by the staff, which were amazing❣️), we enjoyed our time and had a wonderful experience. Thank you to all the staff for a fun time! 😊
