After three years, I participated in a sunset cruise on a catamaran in Hawaii. It was so much fun. Seeing Waikiki and Diamond Head from the sea, the sunset, and the sky turning pink afterward was breathtaking. There was a rainbow over Waikiki. We laughed out loud while getting splashed by the waves, and we even started singing together. It was a truly enjoyable time.

Since you might get wet, it's best to wear clothes that can get wet and keep your valuables in a waterproof bag. There was storage available, but there's a chance of getting splashed by the waves.

I definitely plan to participate again on my next trip to Hawaii.

My friends and I had the most amazing and fun experience with Justin, Jeff, and Sailor Jerry!! We got to see the beautiful island from miles off the coast and into the deep blue waters. The waves were big and exciting, and if you’re in the right spot, you’ll get soaked! The alcohol wasn’t just one big jug of Mai Tai or beers, they had an amazing selection and the best bartenders who made the excursion so special and memorable. I would definitely take this cruise again and again!

We have been on at least five catamarans that offer Sunset Sails,and Holokai is our favorite. The Captain is super accommodating with an amazing bartender who manages to stay balanced serving drinks! We will be back in October for another awesome sailing adventure!

I participated with excitement.
Sailing with both Japanese and foreigners is also a lot of fun.
The view of Diamond Head from the venue is absolutely stunning.
The sunset is beautiful, and it's definitely worth participating in!!

I only attended the show without dinner. The staff were all wearing masks, but most of the guests were not, so I made sure to wear my mask and used hand sanitizer before and after the show to minimize risk. I also prepared extra masks just in case, as I was a bit concerned about droplets from the outside.

As a note, as of August 2022, a negative PCR test certificate is required for entry into Japan, so I acted a bit cautiously, but I think it's definitely possible to enjoy the experience if you take the necessary precautions. Of course, I was able to return home safely with a negative test result.

We participated as a family of three, looking for a Segway experience that even our 13-year-old child could enjoy. We toured downtown, Chinatown, Izumo Taisha, and the courthouse, and it was incredibly fun. Our guide, Kenji, provided thorough instructions on how to ride the Segway and offered support, which made us feel safe and allowed us to enjoy ourselves. The staff were all very kind as well.

I was also very satisfied to encounter sea turtles twice.

Since it was my first time and I was alone, I chose a private lesson. A Japanese instructor accompanied me. After a very simple lesson on land, we headed straight to the sea. Towards the end, paddling was a bit tough, but I had plenty of time to enjoy it. However, there weren't many instructions, so a private lesson might not have been necessary.

I didn't realize how difficult it would be, and paddling out to the waves was so exhausting.
It was hard, but I had a great time.
Surfing is indeed challenging.
However, if I can experience it even a little, I might get hooked.
I learned the difference between surfing and bodyboarding.
The local instructor was seasoned, kind, and friendly, which made it enjoyable as well.

We went there as a pair. I showed the receptionist the screen from Veltra to communicate that we had a reservation, but she didn't seem to understand well. We were guided to our seats, but I was looking forward to seeing the live performance, and from my position, I could only see part of the instruments at the edge of the stage due to the building's wall.

Only the regular menu was left on the table, and we were left waiting. After a while, a male staff member came, and when I showed him the Veltra reservation again, he understood. I was asked which main dish I wanted, but nothing was asked about the appetizers, and they just brought two types without any discussion. For dessert, it was written on Veltra that we could choose from three options, but without being asked, two types were automatically brought to us.

All the dishes were delicious and the portions were generous.

In terms of location, it was by the poolside surrounded by hotels, and we could hear the voices of children playing, so it wasn't a quiet atmosphere with a view of the sea and live music.

料理はどれも美味しく量も多かったです。

ロケーション的にはホテルに囲まれたプールサイドにあり、子供達の遊ぶ声などもするので
海が見えてライブ音楽で静かな感じ〜とかではなかったです。

Had a great time. BEST BOAT AND CREW I’VE HAD! Crew was fun, instructional and well-prepared. Handled us in an AWESOME manner with Aloha. The “big let down” was the sheer number of the other boats trying to come into the same small area. There were 7 other boats very close to us. I kept being bumped into by swimmers from other boats. It’s freaking ridiculous! And I know there’s nothing you guys can do to control that so I can’t hold it against you. But it would be nice if the tourism board or the county did some thing to limit it. Especially when your boat has been doing this much longer than the others.

I have waited my whole life to go to Hawaii. It was well worth the wait and a huge part of that is because of Manu Kai Waikiki Snorkel with Turtles Cruise. It was amazing!
The crew was professional, fun, and awesome. They made us all feel safe.
Next time I do this cruise I will bring my own snorkeling equipment. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer. The best part of this was being able to do this with my beautiful family. We all had such a great time and we look forward to our next visit to Hawaii to do it again.

I strongly recommend Manu Kai Waikiki Snorkel with the Turtles with Beers and Cocktails. You will be happy you did it. Oh yeah, the Turtles were magical it made me even more in love with Hawaii. I haven't been able to stop talking about it.

It was too crowded and there’s no room to walk around. I got foot injury by people falling/stepping on me multiple times and there were some people vomiting into the sea which is disgusting.
