I encountered schools of tropical fish and sea turtles, which was a wonderful experience for the family, including children, seniors, and those who can't swim, as we enjoyed an unknown world. However, the journey to board the submarine was quite challenging. The boat from the Sheraton was very rocky, and out of our family of eight, four members got seasick. The motion sickness medicine we bought on board took a while to work (which is to be expected), and unfortunately, some ended up getting sick. If you are prone to motion sickness, be sure to take medicine beforehand. (It might be safer for those who don't usually get sick to take it as well...)

熱帯魚の群れや、海亀にも出逢え、子供と高齢者+泳げない大人数人を含む家族にとっては、未知なる世界が楽しめ、大変よかったのですが・・・
とにもかくにも、潜水艦に乗り込むまでの道のりが苦難の旅（？）でした。
シェラトンからのボートが揺れる揺れる・・・で家族８名のうち４名が船酔いし、船中で買った酔い止め薬も効き目が遅く（当たり前だが）、戻してしまう有様（トホホ）。
車酔いする方は、必ず事前に酔い止めを飲みましょう。（そうでない方も飲んでおいた方が安全かも・・・）

I run a creator management company located in Ebisu. This was my seventh visit to Oahu (I think?) to attend a colleague's wedding.

On the day before the ceremony, Saturday, October 28, we made a reservation for the 9:00 AM submarine tour, which two male employees attended. Based on a strong recommendation from a registered staff member who is also a commercial director, saying "You absolutely must ride the submarine," we booked without hesitation.

On the day of the tour, a shuttle bus picked us up near the hotel and took us to the yacht harbor next to the Hilton Hotel. After about a 10-minute ride on a boat that can hold around 80 people, we were greeted by two submarines ready for the 9:00 and 10:00 AM tours. (The boat had a restroom, but we were told, "If you need to go, please do it here," which added a bit of tension.) The sea was calm that day, but those prone to seasickness might find it easier to get sick on the boat than in the submarine. It’s recommended to go out on the deck and feel the wind. (The middle of the boat is said to be less prone to seasickness.)

Once we reached the site, several cheerful crew members welcomed us aboard the submarine, which was already prepared. Inside, there was more space than I expected; there was a single row of seats back-to-back, accommodating about 35 people each (a total of 70).

Then we began our descent. The submarine moved slowly, rather than quickly diving down. The underwater scenery was honestly a bit murky due to plankton, but as we progressed, we encountered airplanes, sunken ships, turtles, sharks, divers, and of course, many tropical fish. Each time we saw something, there were exclamations of awe. It was a lot of fun since we could take photos too. (The guide mentioned that we were lucky to see so much.)

If I had to wish for something, it would be a bit more speed to make it more exciting, but I think that wouldn’t be an issue for couples. After all, it’s just two guys, right? (The beautiful mother and daughter sitting next to us seemed to enjoy it very much as well. I hope to see them again!)

On the way back, we had the option to take a shuttle bus to Ala Moana Shopping Center, which was very thoughtful. For those looking to add a little variety to their Oahu experience, this attraction comes highly recommended. The boat and submarine both had Japanese-speaking guides. Mahalo!

恵比寿にあるクリエイターのマネジメント会社をやっています。
社員の結婚式に参列する為に7回目（？）のオアフ島でした。

式前日の10月28日（土）に9:00からの回を、男性社員二人で予約し参加。事前に、ＣＭディレクターでもある登録スタッフの方の「絶対、潜水艦にのるべき」との強い推薦もあり、迷わず予約していました。

当日は、迎えのバスがホテル近くまできて、ヒルトンホテル横のヨットハーバーへ。
そこから沖まで80名くらいが乗れる船で約10分ほどいくと、9:00と10:00から用の潜水艦２隻がお出迎え。（その船はトイレがありますが、「ここで行く方はいってください」とあおられてちょっと緊張感が走ります。）
この日は波もなく静かでしたが、酔い易い人は潜水艦よりも、この船で酔ってしまうとのこと。船のデッキに出て風にあたりましょう。（船の真ん中が酔わないそうですよ）

沖につくと、にこやかな笑顔のクルー数名が甲板にのった潜水艦が、既に準備万端で、順番に船から潜水艦にのり込んでいきます。中は思ったよりスペースがあり、
背中合わせに1列のみのシートですが、35名づつくらい（合計70名）座れます。

そして潜水開始。あまりスピード感はなく、むしろゆっくり潜り、進む感じです。
海の中の景色は、正直プランクトンでちょっと白っぽいなぁという感想ですが、
少し進むと、飛行機やら沈没船やら亀やら鮫やらダイバーやら･･･、もちろん沢山の熱帯魚も、いろんなものに遭遇できました。その都度おーと上がる歓声。写真も取れるのでとっても楽しいです。（ガイドさん曰くは、このはラッキーといっていましたが）

欲を言えば、もうちょっとスピードがあると楽しいそうですが、それは、カップルならば問題なしだと思います。やっぱり男二人ではね･･･。笑
隣に座り合わせてお話した美人親子もとても満喫してましたね。
（また、お会いしたいですね~。）

帰りは、アラモアナショッピングセンターへの送りバスも選べて、とっても親切。
今までにのオアフにちょっと変化を付けたい人には、超お勧めのアトラクションです。船も潜水艦も、日本語ガイドつきでーす。マハロー

This is my third time in Hawaii, but I feel like I've seen a new side of it. I usually get seasick easily and have claustrophobia, so I was very anxious about participating. However, once I dove into the ocean, I was drawn into that world and had a great time. Meeting a sea turtle was the best!!!

ハワイは３度目ですが、新しいハワイを見れた気がします。

参加するまで非常に不安でしたが
海にもぐってしまえばその世界に引き込まれてとても楽しかったです。
うみがめにも出会えて最高でした！！！

You board a boat from the coast and transfer to a submarine offshore. There are staff members who speak Japanese, so you can feel at ease even if you don't speak English. The pamphlet you receive at the pickup location is also in Japanese.

When you board the boat, they take your picture, which is sold for $20 when you return from the submarine. It's fine whether you choose to buy it or not. On the boat, you can go out onto the deck. The view is very nice, making it a perfect photo spot.

The underwater scenery in Hawaii is very beautiful, and I was able to see fish and sea turtles. The explanations inside the submarine are in English, so those who want to listen carefully might feel a bit dissatisfied.

When I made my reservation, it was initially canceled due to weather, but I was able to rebook on-site and successfully board the submarine. You can rebook at the local counter or by phone (the reservation ticket has the phone number). It's fine to do this in Japanese.

海岸から船に乗り、沖で潜水艦に乗り換えます。
日本語が出来るスタッフがいるので英語が喋れなくても安心です。ピックアップ場所でもらえるパンフレットも日本語でした。

船に乗り込むときに写真を撮られますが、これは潜水艦から戻ったときに$20でセールスされます。買わなくても買ってもどちらでも良いです。船では甲板に出る事が出来ます。景色がとてもよく、絶好の写真スポットです。

ハワイの海中はとてもきれいで、魚や海ガメを見ることが出来ました。潜水艦の中での説明は英語ですので、説明をじっくり聞きたい人は少し不満かもしれません。

私が申し込んだ時は天候により一旦キャンセルになったのですが、現地で再申し込みをして無事潜水艦に乗ることが出来ました。再申し込みは現地カウンターでも電話（予約券に電話番号が書いてあります）でも出来ます。日本語で大丈夫です。

This was the best activity I've participated in so far. It was incredibly fun to see the movement of the fish up close in the ocean. I had my 6-year-old child with me, and they were very excited to see the turtles and sharks swimming around. I recommend this for all age groups.

However, a point to note is that the number of boats with crew members who provide explanations in Japanese is limited, so I recommend checking the schedule if you're not comfortable with English.

今まで参加したアクティビティの中で最高によかったです。海の中での魚の動きが間近で見れて、非常に楽しかったです。６歳の子供も一緒でしたが、子供も亀やサメが泳いでいる姿を見て、非常に興奮しておりました。どの年齢層でもお勧めです。
ただし、注意点としては日本語の説明してくれる乗務員が乗りこむ船が限られてるため、英語が苦手な方は時間を確認して乗ることをお勧めします。

My parents participated. (My spouse and I went diving during that time.) They said they were very satisfied to see sea turtles and sharks up close. They kept saying, "It was so much fun!" later on. Since we were traveling as a family, I felt relieved being apart from my parents.

両親が参加しました。（私たち夫婦はその間、ダイビング）
海亀やサメを間近で見たそうで、大変満足していました。「楽しかったぁ~」と後で何度もいってました。家族で行っている場合、両親と別行動していた私としては、安心しました。

I mistakenly applied for the wrong date, but I left a message with the hotel, and they were able to change the date for me. I was able to board the Atlantis submarine without any issues. I was worried about the English guide, but before boarding, a Japanese female staff member kindly explained everything, which made me feel at ease and enjoy the experience. I was also able to see dolphins, which was amazing.

日付を間違って申し込みしてしまって、ホテルにメッセージを残してもらって、日付を変更してもらうことができ、無事にアトランティス潜水艦に乗ることができました。英語のガイドで、心配でしたが、乗船前に、日本人女性スタッフが、親切に説明してくれて、安心して楽しめました。イルカも見ることができて、最高でした。

The round trip boat ride to the submarine was smooth, and the scenery was beautiful! There were no issues with the ladder when moving to the submarine. It was a bit cloudy on the day, but the underwater views were stunning!! My parents, who were hesitant about entering the sea, enjoyed the underwater sights and were thrilled to see a sea turtle.

潜水艦までの往復船にも酔うことなく、景色もキレイ！　潜水艦へ移動の際のはしごも特に問題ありませんでした。当日は少~し曇りがちでだったのですが、海の中はとってもキレイでした！！　海に入るのに抵抗のある両親も海の中の様子を楽しんでいて、ウミガメにも会うことができうれしかったです。

I was a bit anxious about participating alone, but it was okay because a staff member who was good at Japanese explained everything at the beginning. The moment I caught a wave was incredibly fun!! I definitely recommend giving it a try.

１人参加で不安でしたが、始めに日本語の上手なスタッフが説明してくれるので大丈夫でした。波に乗れた時が最高に面白いです！！是非体験してみてください。

I returned home yesterday! I had tried surfing once in Japan a long time ago, but I was worried about whether I could ride properly since it had been quite a while. However, I was able to catch a wave safely on my second try! My friend who came with me was a beginner, but they managed to stand up and seemed to get hooked right away. It was a two-hour session, so by the end, my shoulders were really sore, but I had a lot of fun.

Since there were only four of us, it felt almost like a private lesson, and the instructor taught us in such detail that I was able to ride most of the waves.

I was told, "You're already a surf girl!" and I got a bit carried away with that, so I'm simply thinking about starting surfing seriously in Japan as well. The instructor was really entertaining, and the two hours flew by!!!

昨日、帰って来ました！
サーフィンは日本で一度やったことがありましたが、
かなり昔のことだったのでちゃんと乗れるか不安でした。
けど、２回目の波で無事乗ることができました！
一緒にいった友達は初めてだったのですが、
無事立て、早くもはまってしまったようです。
２時間だったので、最後のほうは肩がぱんぱんになってしまったけど
とても楽しくできました。
人数も４人だけだったので、ほぼ個人と変わらないのでは？と思ってしまうくらい
細かく教えてくれたので、ほとんどの波に乗れることができました。

君はもうサーフガールだよ！と言われたり、ちょっと調子に乗っちゃうことを
言われたので、本格的に日本でも始めようかと単純ながら思ってます。
先生もとても面白くて、あっという間の２時間でした！！！

It was fun! I was worried about whether I could ride the waves, but the staff taught me carefully, and the moment I was able to ride the waves was truly moving! Definitely give it a try! ☆

This was my first time surfing, and I was worried about whether I could stand up after just a brief explanation on the beach, but I managed to stand up on my second try. The instructor helped me catch the waves at the right moment. I think everyone in the group was able to stand on their boards. Although I thought there would be a large number of participants in the group lesson, there were only six of us, and with three instructors, it felt almost like a semi-private lesson, which was more than enough. The price was quite high, and I thought the tip was included, so I was a bit flustered when the guide mentioned at the end, "If you'd like, you can give a tip to the instructor," as I hadn’t prepared anything. I found that most surfing lessons were around the same price when I researched different tours, but I heard there are some cheaper options if you look into local information more thoroughly. Also, although it was a plan that included transportation, I felt a bit anxious because the shuttle bus took a while to arrive, but it seems like it’s better not to worry too much about it.

サーフィンは初めてで、ビーチで簡単な説明を受けただけで立てるか心配でしたが、２回目で立つことができました。先生がいい波のタイミングで後押ししてくださいます。参加していた方みなさんボードに立てていたと思います。グループレッスンで、大人数かと思いきや６人で先生が３人だったのでセミプライベートじゃなくても十分でした。料金が結構していてチップが含まれていると思っていたので、終わりにガイドの方が、「よかったら先生にチップを」と言われて用意していなかったことに少しあせりました。どのツアーで調べても大体サーフィンレッスンは同じくらいの金額でしたが、現地情報をよく調べたらもう少し安いツアーがあるそうです。あと送迎付のプランでしたが、時間の感覚がゆるいのか送迎バスがなかなかこないことに少し不安になりましたが、あまり気にしないほうがいいみたいです。

I challenged myself to surfing, which my husband was eager to try. Since it mentioned that beginners were welcome, we participated as two beginners. The instructions were also provided in Japanese, which made it easy to understand.

I was able to stand up on my first try right away. My husband took a bit longer to grasp the technique. By the end of the lesson, we were both able to stand up side by side. The two-hour lesson flew by and was simply enjoyable.

However, there were only a few photos of my husband surfing, which was disappointing for him. I think it was because the photo-taking time was shorter than the lesson. He also regrets not standing up earlier. Nevertheless, he was very satisfied and said it was a lot of fun, and he intends to try again.

主人熱望のサーフィンに挑戦しました。初心者でもいいとあったので、初心者２人で参加しました。日本語でも説明してもらえるし、わかりやすかったです。
私は、いきなり１度目で立ち上がる事ができました。主人は、しばらくコツをつかむまで時間がかかりました。レッスン終盤には、２人で平行して立ち上がれました。２時間のレッスンは、あっという間で楽しいの一言でした。
ただ、主人が期待していた撮影写真に　は主人のサーフィン姿が数枚しか写っていませんでした。恐らく、撮影時間がレッスンより短時間の為だと思います。主人も、もっと早い時間で立ち上がっていればと残念がっています。でも、とても楽しかったと満足していて、また挑戦するつもりです。

The sunset cruising on the day we arrived in Hawaii was fantastic for our family of four (two children in the second and fourth grades and my wife).

Benefit 1: It's safe for children. We dressed the kids in marine boots to prevent slipping and in towel-like clothing (a cover-up for the poolside). When boarding the yacht, they splashed in the sea up to their knees before climbing the ladder. Be careful with sneakers as they won't dry by the next morning. The boat can sway, so marine boots are recommended to avoid slipping. When the kids board, the crew members lift them up, which is reassuring. My second daughter, in the second grade, was on the net of ropes stretched in front of the mast of the catamaran. Below the rope net is the sea itself. When a few waves came, the yacht swayed, splashing water, and she happily went towards the splashes, saying it was like a roller coaster. I thought the drinks were free, but when I ordered a special cocktail with the yacht's design, it was $4. It's quite a large serving, so sharing one between two people might be better. It's a sweet tropical cocktail. By the way, all the explanations were in English. I didn't understand much, but since we were just on board, it wasn't a problem.

Benefit 2: Jet lag countermeasure. Even if you can sleep on the flight from Narita, it's only for 3-4 hours, so by the time we arrived in Hawaii around 3 PM, we started to feel tired. If you fall asleep here, you won't be able to have dinner, and you'll feel sleepy again the next afternoon. However, activities that require physical movement can be a bit tough, and activities that involve bus transfers make you fall asleep right away. So, we participated in this cruising. We enjoyed the view of Diamond Head, a symbol of Hawaii, from the yacht, felt the cool breeze and ocean spray, and had a little cocktail. After that, we slowly watched the sunset and arrived at the beach at dusk. This time we stayed at the Royal Hawaiian, and since Halekulani is right next door, we had dinner there before returning to the hotel. I recommend it for those staying in Waikiki. This was my second time on board, but there were still mostly foreigners, which added to the foreign atmosphere. Personally, I love yachts, so this was the best activity during our time in Hawaii.

ハワイ到着当日のアクティーとして最高。家族４人（小学２年と小学４年の子ども二人と家内）でサンセットクルージングに参加しました。メリット１．子どもでも安心して乗れます。子どもの服装は、滑らないようにマリンブーツを履かせ、タオル地の服（プールサイドで着る上着）にしました。ヨットに乗るときにも膝くらいまでバシャバシャ海に入ってから、ラダーを登ります。運動靴だと翌朝までに乾かないので注意。船は揺れることがあるので、すべって転ばないようにマリンブーツの方がお勧めです。子どもが乗船するときには、クルーのお兄さんが抱き上げて連れて行ってくれるので安心。小学２年の次女は双胴船のマスト前方に張ってあるロープの網の上に乗っていました。ロープの網の下はすぐ海そのもの。少し波がくると、ヨットが揺れ、ザブーンとしぶきがかかり、「ジェットコースターのようでおもしろい」と自分からしぶきのかかる方へ行き大満足。フリードリンクかなーっと思っていましたが、ヨットの模様がついている特製カクテルを頼んだところ４ドルでした。かなり量があるので、２人で１つ取った方がよいかも。甘いトロピカルカクテルです。ちなみに、説明は全て英語。殆ど分かりませんでしたが、乗っているだけなので問題なし。メリット２．時差ぼけ対策。成田からの飛行機では寝られても３~４時間なので、ハワイについて午後３時頃になると疲れが出てきます。ここで寝てしまうと夕食も取れないし、また明日も午後に眠くなったしまいます。でも、体を動かすアクティーはちょっと大変だし、バスで移動するアクティーはすぐに寝てしまいます。そこで、このクルージングに参加。ハワイのシンボル（？）ダイアモンドヘッドをヨットから眺め、涼しい風とオーシャンシャワー（波しぶき）をあびて、カクテルをちょっとだけも飲みます。その後、サンセットをゆっくりみた後、夕暮れのビーチに到着。今回はロイヤルハワイアンに泊まったのですが、すぐ隣がハレクラニなので、そこで夕食をとりホテルへ戻りました。ワイキキにお泊まりの方にはお勧めです。今回が２回目の乗船ですが日本人にはまだあってません。外人さんばっかりで、外国気分にもひたれていい感じです。私は個人的にヨットが好きなので、今回のハワイの中で最高のアクティでした。

We participated in the 10:00 session on August 15th with our family of four (two children). The pickup arrived almost on time, and the shuttle with the blue submarine pattern, as listed on the Atlantis website, was there. Perhaps because it was a Japanese group, the staff member in a sailor-like uniform spoke fluent Japanese. After handing over the voucher, we headed to the Hilton pier. After a group photo (one photo for $20), we boarded the shuttle boat. It was quite rocky, and some people seemed to get seasick, but our family was all energetic, enjoying the view of the sea from the second deck when a staff member took our picture.

Since there were many participants, three submarines were waiting offshore. First, those with yellow tickets transferred to the submarine. Our red tickets were for the second submarine, which was fully booked with 48 seats. The guide was very good at Japanese and explained everything while incorporating jokes. We saw sea turtles and spent 40 minutes peering through the round windows at many fish without getting bored. Especially since we were the last to transfer from the shuttle to the submarine, we got to sit in the front seat right behind the control room, allowing us to see the cockpit, and the guide took pictures of us inside the submarine. It was a very enjoyable 40 minutes.

Our family was completely satisfied!! Thank you, Alan-chan!!!

８月１５日１０：００の回に家族４人（子供２人）で参加しました。
ピックアップはほぼ時間通りに、アトランティスのＨＰにも載っている青いサブマリンの模様のシャトルが到着。日本人の回だったためか、アトランティスのセーラーのような制服を着たスタッフさんは日本語ペラペラ。バウチャーを渡して、いざヒルトンの桟橋へ。グループ毎の記念撮影（１枚＄２０です）の後、シャトルボートに乗船。結構揺れるので酔っている人もいらした様ですが、我が家はみんな元気に２階のデッキで海を眺めていると、スタッフのお兄さんが写真を撮ってくださいました。
参加者が多かったので、沖には３隻のサブマリンがスタンバイ。まず、黄色チケットの方からサブマリンに横付けして乗り換えです。我が家の赤チケットは２隻目、４８席満席でした。ガイドのおじさんは日本語がお上手で、冗談も取り入れながら、説明してくださいました。海がめも見れたし、たくさんの魚達に４０分間飽きることなく丸い窓をのぞきこんでいました。特に、シャトルからサブマリンへの乗換えが一番最後だったので、操縦席のすぐ後ろの１番前の席に座れたので、操縦席も見れたし、ガイドの方に艦内で写真を撮ってもらったりもして、とても楽しい４０分間でした。
家族一同、大満足！！アランちゃん、ありがとう！！！

Our family took our first submarine trip together. The kids, who had never seen the ocean floor before, were so excited! Our guide was Japanese and provided clear explanations, so I highly recommend it. I read in a review that if you sit in the back of the submarine, you can get a seat in the very front, so we did just that. We were able to sit right behind the cockpit and had a great view through the large front window. According to the kids, they also saw 14 sea turtles!

親子ともども初めての潜水艦。海底を見たことのない子供達は大はしゃぎ！１０時の日本人ガイドさんだったので説明もわかりやすくオススメです。書き込みに「潜水艦に最後に乗ると一番前に座れる」とあったので、そのとおりに実行。操縦席の真後ろに座れて先頭の大きな窓からもよく見えて最高でした。子供達によると海亀１４匹も見れたそうです。

I was nervous because it was my first time surfing, but I was fine since they explained everything in Japanese. Just as it was written, I was really able to stand up in a very short time! I was excited when I stood up. I found it really interesting to understand what it feels like to "ride the waves." It made me want to do it again somewhere. The meeting place for the lesson was a bit hard to find, so that's something to be careful about.

初めてサーフィンをするのでドキドキでしたが、
日本語での説明もしてもらえたので大丈夫でした。
１００％立てると書かれている通り、本当に短時間で
立てました！
立てた時は興奮しました。
「波に乗る」ってこんな感じかあというのが
わかってすごく面白かったです。
またどこかでやりたい気持ちになりました。
レッスンの集合場所がわかりにくいので、
それだけは注意した方がいいです。

During this family trip, the kids said they had the most fun. At 10 and 8 years old, it was their first time surfing, and they received great support, managing to stand on the surfboard, which thrilled them! They are saying they want to surf again! Thank you very much!

今回の家族旅行で子供達が一番楽しかったと言っております。１０才、８才で初サーフィンでしたがしっかりサポートして頂き、サーフボードに立てて感激しておりました~またサーフィンしたいっ！とチビ達が言っております。ありがとうございました！

The instructor allows us to try multiple times, so if you have motivation and concentration, everyone will be able to stand on the surfboard. Surfing is a full-body workout, and I really felt the effects of my usual lack of exercise, as I got very tired in the second half. When I got too tired to paddle, the instructor would pull me to the wave point, so it was okay even if I was exhausted.

The price feels a bit high, but considering it's Honolulu, it's about what you'd expect.

I got lost in Honolulu because the directions to the meeting place written on the voucher were incorrect, and I ended up being about 15 minutes late. I realized the importance of not relying too much on the voucher and checking the meeting place on a map.

先生は何度もtryさせてくれるので、やる気と集中力があれば、皆サーフボードの上に立てるようになるでしょう。サーフィンは体全部を使う運動だったので、日ごろの運動不足がたたって、後半すごく疲れてしまいました。疲れてパドリング（手で漕いでの移動）できなくなると、先生が波のポイントまで引っ張って行ってくれるので疲れても大丈夫です。
ちょっと値段は高い気がしますが、ホノルル値段と思えば、まあこんなもんでしょう。
バウチャーに書いてあった集合場所への行き方が間違っていたので、ホノルルで迷子になって、15分程度集合時間に遅れてしまいました。バウチャーを過信せず、地図で集合場所を確認する必要があることを痛感しました。

My parents participated. Since they didn't even bring swimsuits to Hawaii, they were very satisfied to see sea turtles, sharks, and tropical fish up close without getting wet. They were quite excited when they returned. I'm glad we chose this tour. It seems they saw more fish than I did while diving, which is a bit frustrating for me...

両親が参加しました。ハワイに水着すら持ってこない両親なので、濡れずに、海亀やサメやトロピカルフィッシュを間近で沢山見れて、大変満足していました。戻って来た時はかなり興奮していました。このツアーを選んで良かったと思います。私がダイビングで見たよりも沢山の魚を見たようなので、悔しいですが・・・。

Joining was definitely the right choice! First of all, we were blessed with great weather and sea conditions. The visibility was excellent♪ We saw turtles, unique Hawaiian fish, and corals… The guide was also very good at explaining things, making it feel like a perfect opportunity for my son's science project.

If I had to mention something, it doesn't matter what order you board the boat to the submarine, but if you board the submarine last, you'll get to sit in the front row facing the direction of travel… you can really feel like a pilot☆

I boarded a 48-passenger submarine. I took the blue shuttle from the hotel to the ferry dock in front of Hilton Hawaiian Village. At the dock, we took a group photo (which is later sold for $20). Once on the ferry, we arrived at the diving point off Waikiki, where the submarine surfaced with white bubbles.

Holding onto the handrails tightly, I boarded the submarine. As I took my seat and peered through the round window, I was greeted by a large school of jackfish. The pamphlet mentioned that there would be an English guide, but perhaps because there were many Japanese guests, we had a Japanese guide instead. As we descended, colorful fish swam around the reef in abundance. At the shipwreck point, we spotted a sea turtle. To top it off, we encountered a group from a diving tour. It felt just like being in a dragon palace. Time flew by in an instant. On the return shuttle, since we could choose our destination, I got off at Ala Moana Shopping Center to do some shopping. It was a very satisfying day.

ホテルからブルーの送迎シャトルに乗り込み、ヒルトン・ハワイアン・ビレッジ前の連絡船桟橋へ。桟橋でグループごとの記念撮影（後で$20で売ってる）。連絡船に乗りワイキキ沖の潜水ポイントにつくと、白い泡と共に潜水艦が浮上してくる。
手すりにしっかりと捕まりながら乗船。席に着き丸い窓から海中を覗くと鰺の大群に出迎えられる。パンフでは、英語ガイドの時間帯だったけど、日本人が多いためか日本語ガイドだ。潜航していくと魚礁の周りには色鮮やかな魚たちがこれでもかというほど泳いでる。沈船のポイントでは、ウミガメ登場。おまけにダイビングツアーのご一行とも遭遇。まるで竜宮城気分。あっという間に時が過ぎてしまった。帰りのシャトルでは、目的地が選べたのでアラモアナ・ショッピングセンターで降りてお買い物。大満足の１日です。

I made a reservation for the 9 AM tour and boarded a dedicated trolley at the bus stop in front of the hotel to head to the dock at Hilton Hawaiian Village. Once on the shuttle boat to the submarine, it was quite rocky, possibly due to the waves. After about 10 minutes, we arrived at the offshore submarine docking point, and passengers were divided among three submarines. Since we couldn't board each submarine directly, those boarding the third submarine had to wait nearly 30 minutes after leaving the port. On the way back, it was the reverse; passengers from the first submarine had to stay on the shuttle boat until the other two submarines surfaced and picked up their passengers, so it took longer than expected. Additionally, the shuttle boat swayed much more once we were offshore compared to when we were in the harbor, so those prone to seasickness should definitely take motion sickness medication. While I've mentioned some downsides, the experience after boarding the submarine and diving was absolutely amazing. The world visible through the windows was unlike anything I had ever seen, and even I, who usually hardly takes photos, found myself continuously pressing the shutter. Furthermore, the guide on my submarine provided explanations in Japanese, filled with jokes and lessons about the ocean, making the time fly by. While there is a risk of seasickness, I believe the rewards far outweigh it. I highly recommend it!!

朝９時の回を予約し、ホテル前のバス停で専用トロリーに乗り込みヒルトンハワイアンビレッジの船着き場へ向かいました。潜水艦へのシャトルボートに乗り込むと波があるせいか結構揺れました。10分ほどで沖合の潜水艦停泊ポイントに到着し、乗客は３隻の潜水艦に分かれて乗り込むのですが、それぞれの潜水艦に横付けしないと乗り込めないため、３隻めの潜水艦に乗る人は港を出てから30分近くかかってします。帰りはその逆で１隻めの潜水艦の乗客は残り２隻が浮上してそれらの乗客をピックアップするまでシャトルボートに乗っていなければならないので、思ったよりは時間がかかります。またシャトルボートは沖合に出たら港にいるときと比べ物にならないくらいに揺れるので船酔いしやすい人は酔い止め薬が必須でしょう。と、マイナス面ばかり書きましたが、潜水艦に乗り込んで潜行してからはすばらしい体験の連続です。窓から見える世界はこれまでに見たことのないもので、普段ほとんど写真を撮らない私ですらひっきりなしにシャッターを押してしまうほどでした。また、私の乗った潜水艦はガイドさんが日本語でいろいろと説明してくれて、ジョークあり海についてのお勉強ありで、とにかくあっという間に時間が過ぎました。船酔いというリスクはありますが、それを補って余りあるリターンがあると思います。絶対おすすめです!!

I participated in the Atlantis Premium Submarine Tour. This tour is different from scuba diving, as you can enjoy a diving experience safely and easily. You take a boat to the submarine that is anchored offshore, but it can be a bit rocky on the way, so those who are prone to motion sickness might want to take some medication beforehand. It's really great for families and couples!

このツアーはスキューバーダイビングと異なり、安全に気軽に潜水ツアーを楽しめます。
沖に停泊している潜水艦までは船で行くのですが、そこに行くまでは揺れるため、弱い人は酔い止めを飲んでいった方がよさそうです。
ファミリーやカップルには本当によいですよ~！

We opted for a submarine tour since our parents couldn't dive. We were able to see many beautiful fish, which was very soothing. However, just watching and the fact that there were many of the same fish left us with the impression that it wouldn't hold our attention for a long time.

ダイビングができない親たちのために、潜水艦ツアーにしました。きれいな魚たちを沢山みることができて癒されました。でも、見ているだけなことと、同じ魚が多いということで、長い時間はもたないな、という印象です。

I thought I would want to ride a yacht when I saw the blue ocean in Hawaii, so I made a reservation in advance. I told my companions that being in the sun would quickly alleviate any jet lag, using it as an excuse to choose this activity on the first day. The deep blue of the ocean, the refreshing breeze, and the strong sun were beautiful even in the evening. What surprised me was that the majority of the passengers were Americans, or rather, white people. They were lively and cheerful, which lifted my spirits and made me feel very happy. I had planned to enjoy the sunset while relaxing. Well, this is part of the journey. By the way, the check-in was on the sandy beach of Waikiki, which was somewhat confusing, and I felt a bit anxious about whether I was in the right place. Also, having to go barefoot was different from a regular cruise. Since it was a small boat, there was a toilet, but it was almost like there wasn't one. I wouldn't say I'm a boat enthusiast, but you won't find a yacht with such high cost performance anywhere else.

ハワイの青い海を見たらヨットに乗りたくなるだろうなと思っていたので事前に予約しておきました。太陽に当たれば時差ぼけもすぐに解消すると同行者に言ってこのアクティビティを初日に選ぶ口実にしました。期待通りの海の藍さと風の爽快さ、強い太陽も夕方だから綺麗。予想と違ったのは、アメリカ人というか白人が乗客の大半だったこと。ワイワイがやがやと明るいこと、明るいこと、気持ちが高ぶってとても楽しい気分になりました。予定は、夕陽を見ながらたそがれようかと思っていたのでした。まあ、これも旅か。そうそう、ワイキキビーチの砂浜でチェックインなのでなんとなくわかりにくく、これでいいのかと少々不安だったことと、裸足にならないといけないことが普通のクルーズと違うことでしょうか。小さな船だからトイレはあるけどないようなもんかな。船好きだからというわけではないけれど、こんなにコストパフォーマンスが高いヨットもないですよ。

I participated with my boyfriend. I was a complete beginner, but he was experienced, so we borrowed a regular longboard (since the waves were small, a shortboard wouldn’t work) and he was riding the waves freely. Some people mentioned the photos, but they put all the pictures from everyone who took the lesson at the same time onto one CD-R for $25, so I thought it wasn't too expensive for the two of us. Especially since there aren't many opportunities to get photos of riding the waves, I was satisfied with how beautifully they were taken with a telephoto lens. However, it seems that the coach was aiming to capture the moment when he pushed the board to ride the wave, so my boyfriend didn’t appear in many of the photos, which was a bit disappointing for him. If you participate in a similar situation, I recommend asking in advance to make sure you get photographed!

彼氏と二人で参加しました。私はまったくの初心者でしたが、彼は経験者なので普通のロングボード（波が小さくショートボードでは乗れないとのこと）を貸してもらって、自由に波に乗っていました。写真について書き込みされている方もいましたが、同じ時間にレッスンを受けた全員分を1枚のCD-Rにいれてくれて25ドルなので、二人で1枚と思えばそんなに高くはないと思いました。特に、波に乗っている写真はなかなか撮れる機会がないので、望遠レンズできれいにとってもらえて満足です。ただ、写真はコーチがボードを押して波に乗せる瞬間を狙ってとっているようです。なので、彼はほとんど写真に写してもらえず残念だったみたいです。同じような状況で参加されるときは、事前に写真に写してね、と頼んでみてはいかがでしょうか？

Since I was in Hawaii, I thought I would try surfing. I didn't really know much about boards, so I wasn't expecting to stand up right away, but I managed to do it early on. I got a strange desire and thought, "I might get hooked on this!" I believe that the beginning is crucial for anything, so I felt that it would be good to grasp the basics and the feeling in a setting like this to level up. The staff members were kind, friendly, and worked hard, which made me feel at ease. It was fun, and the time flew by, but it was a very fulfilling two hours.

せっかくハワイにいるのだがらサーフィンを体験してみようと思いました。ボード関連は全く良くわからなかったので、すぐに立てることは期待していなかったのですが、最初のほうですぐに立てました。変な欲が出てしまい、これはハマルかも☆と思いました。何事も最初が肝心だと思うので、こういう場で基本というか感覚をつかんでレベルアップしていったら良いような気がしました。スタッフの方々は優しくフレンドリーで、一生懸命なので、安心できます。楽しくてあっという間に時間が過ぎましたが、結構内容の濃い２時間です。

We participated together. It was our first time surfing, and I was filled with anxiety, but I was able to ride the waves from the very first try. The instructor encouraged us by saying, "Paddle, paddle, stand up!!" which helped me stand up smoothly.
The photo CD-ROM was a bit pricey at $25, so many people didn't purchase it. I thought it would be nice if they offered a free commemorative photo, even just one.
I definitely recommend everyone to experience surfing in the waters of Hawaii!☆

二人で参加しました。初めてのサーフィンで、不安でいっぱいでしたが、一度目から波に乗れました。インストラクターの方が、「漕いで、漕いで、立って！！」と掛け声をかけてくれたので、すんなり立つことができました。
写真ＣＤ−ＲＯＭが＄25と少々高めなので、購入していない方が多かったです。一枚でも良いので、記念写真を無料でプレゼントしてくれるサービスがあればいいと思いました。

This time, I participated in the sunset cruise. I have been on various boats in the past, but the best part of this cruise was how close we were to the sea! You can really feel the surface of the water and the waves right there. The boat has seats, but at the front, there’s just a sturdy net stretched out, and you can see the water below you from there, allowing you to sit directly on it. At first, it’s a bit scary, but once you get used to it, it feels really nice, and I highly recommend it. However, be careful if you sit at the very front, as you might get splashed by the waves (^^).

I usually get seasick, but I didn’t feel any motion sickness at all on this open, breezy cruise.

For those who will participate in the future, here’s some information:
- You board the boat directly from the sandy beach, so your feet will get wet. It’s better to wear shoes that you don’t mind getting wet.
- It can be hot when the sun is out, but it gets chilly on the way back. I think it’s a good idea to bring a long-sleeve shirt.
- On the way back, there’s a place to wash your feet before entering the hotel from the beach. Having a towel is convenient.
- As for the restroom... it takes some courage to use it. The restroom door is a bit see-through, so I think it’s better for women to assume there isn’t one.
- Alcohol is served, so you’ll be asked to show something that proves your age before boarding. It might be handy to bring a copy of your passport.

今回はサンセットクルーズの方に参加しました。
クルーズは、過去にも大小とりどりの船に乗ったことがありますが、このクルーズでの一番のよかったところは「海が近い！」。海面と波がすぐそこに感じられます。船にはいすはありますが、前の方には、床というか底というか、丈夫な網が張られただけで、見下ろすと海面が見える場所があり、そこに直接座れるようになっています。最初は怖いですが、これが慣れるとかなり気持ちがよく、お薦めです。但し、本当に前の方に座ると、波を直接浴びることもありますのでご用心ください（＾＾）。
私は、船には弱い方ですが、この開放感あふれ、風が気持ちのよいクルーズでは全く船酔いしませんでした。

今後参加される方のための情報として、
・船に乗るのは砂浜から直接乗りますので、足が水につかります。
　ぬれてもいい靴を履いていった方がいいです。
・日が出ているときは暑いですが、帰りは冷えます。長袖は持参した方がいいと思います。
・帰り、浜辺からホテルの中に入る際に、足を洗う場所があります。タオル１枚あると便利です。
・トイレ。。。ここに入るには勇気がいります。トイレのドアは少々透けていますので、女性の方はトイレはないものと思っていた方がいいと思います。
・アルコールが出るので、乗船前に年齢がわかるものを見せるよう言われます。
　パスポートのコピーとか持っていくと、便利かもしれません。
