I can go underwater exploring because I dive, but my parents and my little nephews and nieces cannot. So, I participated in the Atlantis Submarine. I was able to see more fish than I expected and even encountered a sea turtle. Additionally, we went to a really deep place, allowing me to experience an unknown world that diving alone wouldn't provide. I could also hear explanations in Japanese, and above all, it was an easy option for anyone to dive to the ocean floor. It was a really fun experience.

I participated in the 10 AM session on November 19. We departed from the meeting point on time and headed to the beach. From there, we boarded a boat and made our way to the submarine. The beauty of the blue sea viewed from the boat was so stunning that I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!" The moment the submarine surfaced with big bubbles was definitely worth seeing.

I chose a seat at the very back on the right side of the submarine. The explanations were in Japanese, but unfortunately, I couldn't hear the announcements from the lady speaking in front very well, possibly due to my position. However, the view of the seabed from the window was absolutely amazing, and I was deeply moved by the sight of fish and sea turtles swimming gracefully in the beautiful sea. It was also impressive to see the children sitting nearby getting so excited. I believe that no matter where you sit, you'll have an equally good view.

On the way back, we split into groups for those returning to the hotel and those wanting to go to Ala Moana Shopping Center, and they arranged cars for us. Additionally, for those going to Ala Moana, there was a very helpful service where a car would come every hour to take us back to Waikiki!

日本語の説明だったのですが、位置が悪かったのか前でお姉さんが話しているアナウンスがあまり聞こえなかったのが残念でした。
窓から見える海底の様子は本当に最高で、魚やウミガメが綺麗な海を気持ちよさそうに泳いでいる様子にとても感動して思わず窓にはりつきそうになりました。近くに座っていた子供さんが興奮しまくっていたのも印象的です。どこの場所に座っても平等にいい景色が見れると思います。
帰りは、ホテルに帰る人、アラモアナショッピングセンターに行きたい人と分かれて車を出してくださり、またアラモアナに行った人は1時間毎に迎えの車が来てワイキキまで送ってくれるというとってもありがたいサービスがありました！

First, I was taught how to paddle and stand in the shop. Although I could hardly understand Japanese, they taught me multiple times until I understood, so I didn't have any trouble at all.

When we started the lesson in the ocean, I was initially scared of the big rocks and coral and couldn't stand up, but I was able to ride the waves quickly once I calmed down. The coaches were really funny, and while we were waiting for the waves, they chatted a lot, which made it really enjoyable. They encouraged me many times, which motivated me to keep going even when my body was tired!

I definitely want to go again!

This submarine dive was awesome. It goes down about 120 feet and makes its way through two shipwrecks, a plane crash, U of Hawaii's artificial coral project... Not to mention all the fish and wildlife you see. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! However, do pay attention to the languages set for the time you go. But if you happen to get on a Japanese tour, there are headphones with English.

The day before the wedding in Hawaii, I participated with my parents and my partner's parents, a total of six people, to foster friendship.

We really enjoyed the activity!! Especially the blue sea seen from the boat on the way to the submarine! It was beautiful!! (You should definitely go up to the deck!!) Once on the submarine, we saw many fish, turtles, and sharks, and there were thorough explanations in Japanese, which made my parents happy.

If you understand a little English, I highly recommend trying the English explanations as well. They provide clear and interesting information! (When wearing headphones, you might hear other guests suddenly burst into laughter during the English explanations, which makes you curious about what's going on, haha!)

ハワイ挙式の前日、親睦も兼ねて両家両親・計6人で参加してきました。

アクティビティ自体は大変楽しむことが出来ました!!とくに潜水艦までいくまでの船からみる海の青さ！キレイ!!（絶対デッキにあがるべき!!）

I participated in a premium tour. This was my first time in Hawaii and my first activity, so I was a bit anxious about how the transportation would work, but I went to the pickup location. However, from the moment I got on the bus until I got off the return bus, there was a proper explanation (system) in place, which allowed me to participate with peace of mind.

Regarding the submarine, I felt there might be some variability depending on the direction you sit, but since it's a natural experience, I think that's unavoidable (actually, you can't choose as you are guided to one of the two entrances). I participated in the 9:00 tour on October 27! Since I was with my elderly parents this time and we couldn't dive, we decided to take a submarine to see the underwater world easily. The shuttle boat to the submarine was quite rocky, but when we went out on deck, the blue sea was beautiful! It was fun to see a pod of dolphins jumping alongside us (unfortunately, they didn't show up in the photos...). My mother, who is sensitive to motion, looked a bit unwell at first, but she felt better with the wind blowing on her, and she enjoyed watching the dolphins.

The view from the submarine had more sand than I expected, making it look murky. I heard there are no natural coral reefs, but there were planes and ships that have become homes for fish, and we could see fish, sea turtles, sharks, and even divers conducting research. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making for a pleasant experience. Inside the submarine, there was hardly any rocking, so my parents were fine. They enjoyed the deep blue world of the ocean.

潜水艦へ行くまでのシャトルボートは結構揺れますが、甲板に出ていると、青い海がきれい！イルカの群れがジャンプしてついてきたりして楽しかったです☆（写真には残念ながら写ってないみたい・・）乗り物に弱い母は最初気分悪そうでしたが、外の風に吹かれているとマシだったそうで、イルカは喜んで見てました。
潜水艦からみた景色は思ったより砂が多くて濁っている感じ。天然のサンゴ礁はないそうですが、飛行機や船が魚のアパートになっていて、魚や海がめ、鮫、あと調査中のダイバーさんもみることができました。スタッフの方々もにこやかな対応で、気持ち良く過ごせました。潜水艦内はほとんど揺れは感じず、両親も大丈夫でしたよ。深海の青い世界を楽しんでました。

I was considering that I might not need to use the trolley just around Waikiki, but since I wanted to go to Diamond Head, I thought, why not! So I signed up for the unlimited ride pass for four days. The Blue Line has a long course that takes three hours to complete one loop, but they stop for 15 to 25 minutes at photo spots, which is a nice service, making it feel like a little sightseeing bus. If the driver is a fun person, you really feel like you've gotten a great deal. Most visitors to Hawaii arrange their trips through travel agencies, so I think many will have the unlimited trolley tickets, but I would definitely recommend it for those traveling independently.

Naturally, all the participants were Japanese, making it feel as if I were in Japan, but I was glad I chose a Japanese tour because I didn't miss any of the suddenly appearing fish. I was able to see many more fish than I expected, including sharks, rays, and sea turtles! I was torn between a premium tour and a regular one, but I had plenty of fun on the regular tour.

Before heading to the sea, I was taught how to stand on the board inside the shop. The instructor taught me in broken Japanese, but once we got into the water, the instructor spoke only English except for a few phrases like "paddle," "stand," "come here," and "danger." I don't understand English at all, so even if I had questions or things I wanted to know, I couldn't get my point across, which made me anxious in the water.

I had surfed once in Japan just for fun, so I could manage somewhat without starting from scratch, but my companion was a complete beginner and not very athletic, so they struggled with paddling. I felt like we were left to fend for ourselves, and I don't think it was a very good school.

There were about four instructors in the water (with many students), and one of the Black instructors was particularly strict, to the point of being harsh. He would push his board towards students in front of him without any concern, which could have caused serious accidents.

I think it would be tough for someone with no surfing experience and no understanding of English.

海の中の先生は４人くらいいましたが（生徒はいっぱい）、そのうちの黒人の先生は特に厳しいというか、ひどかったです。前に生徒がいるのにそこに向かって平気でボードを押されたりして、ぶつかったら一大事なのに。。。

サーフィンの経験が全くなく、英語も全くわからない方は厳しいと思います。

I had big expectations of this submarine ride and I was proven right. Equipment is well maintained. Staff are friendly and very competant, with great line handling and people skills. The experience was relaxing, entertaning and fun as well as having interest in more technical terms for underwater enthusiasts. The gift shop has some good value souveniers too.

As experienced travelers have mentioned, we were the only Japanese people on board. It was the best cruising experience amidst the English conversations. You can choose from drinks like special punch and beer, and the staff were happy to take photos for us. We thoroughly enjoyed the view of Waikiki from the ocean and the sunset over the sea. The only downside was that the lively background music was old pop songs. After all, Hawaii should have Hawaiian music! For those who will participate, I recommend taking motion sickness medication. The return to Waikiki after the sunset might be a bit tough.

We gathered at the school office and practiced how to stand on a surfboard. After that, we each took two surfboards and walked across the street to the beach, immediately getting into the water and following the instructor. I participated in the premium tour. It was relaxing and enjoyable. I sat in the front, and my 8-year-old child was thrilled to be doted on by the guide. The program we received at the reception included a list with pictures of fish, and my child particularly enjoyed checking off the fish they saw. There were comments about the staff chatting amongst themselves being noisy, but I didn't mind it at all. Cold air was coming from below, so it was chilly at my feet. If you're sensitive to the cold, it would be good to bring leg warmers or something similar. The company's website has a diving map, and I aimed for the right side, which supposedly passes by the wrecks more often, but the course changes depending on the sea currents that day, so it ultimately depends on luck. The pilot tries to be fair to both sides, but it felt like the left side had a slight advantage during our trip. It might be a "grass is greener on the other side" feeling. This tour is definitely worth experiencing at least once. Also, since the boarding area is located within the Hilton Hawaiian Village, it's very convenient for guests staying at the hotel. It would be nice if there were discounts for not needing transportation, but unfortunately, that benefit is not available.

We traveled by boat to the location of the submarine, but due to lack of sleep, I ended up getting seasick even though the waves were calm. However, once we were on the submarine, there was hardly any rocking, so my nausea subsided, and I was able to enjoy watching the seabed. Our 17, 15, and 12 year old all had a great experience. All of them got up several times and are very glad they did it. Two of the kids wore short sleeve shirts and wish they wore long sleeve as they both had quite a rash on the arm from rubbing against the board.

It was quite impressive. Since I was five months pregnant, I couldn't swim in Hawaii, so I enjoyed the Hawaiian sea on the Atlantis submarine. I highly recommend this for those who come to Hawaii but can't or don't want to swim, as well as for small children and elderly people. The tour is divided into Japanese and English sessions, but due to my schedule, I could only participate in the English session, which made me a bit anxious. However, since there were many Japanese people, the guidance was in Japanese, so I was able to relax and enjoy it. I definitely want to take my child on the Atlantis next time~♪ I want to work hard for that.

ハワイの海の綺麗さ、色とりどりの魚、ウミガメ、さめ・・・本当に驚かされました！！でも一番びっくりしたのは、潜水艦が会場に出てくる瞬間！！なかなかの迫力です。私は妊娠５カ月の妊婦でしたので、せっかくのハワイで泳ぐことが出来なかったので、アトランティスの潜水艦でハワイの海を堪能させていただきました。ハワイに来たものの泳げない、泳ぎたくない方や、小さなお子様や年配の方にも本当にお勧めです。ツアーは日本語の回と英語の回に分かれているのですが、スケジュール上、私は英語の回にしか参加出来なかったので少し不安でしたが、日本人が多かった為か日本語での案内でしたので、安心して楽しむ事が出来ました。ぜひ今度は子供を連れてアトランティスに乗りたいなあ~♪その為に頑張りたいと思います。

I participated in the premium experience. My child had been wanting to go for a long time, but there was a height restriction, so we finally got to join. There were turtles and sharks, but they were on the opposite side, so we couldn't see the sharks. I recommend sitting on the left side. Both sides go through the same area, but all the points are visible from the left side first. I read some reviews and took motion sickness medication before going. I signed up for the Atlantis Premium Submarine Tour, departing at 10:00.
We boarded the boat at the pier and moved to the location of the submarine (it was quite rocky). The view from the second-floor sun deck of the boat was amazing, and I took photos with Diamond Head in the background! (You can go up to the sun deck both on the way there and back.)
From the moment I boarded the submarine, the beautiful blue sea of Hawaii was visible through the large windows. I've never seen anything like it!
The photos I took inside the submarine also captured the underwater scenery beautifully.

I was thrilled and it exceeded my expectations. It was the best~~
We returned to the pier around noon, so we could head straight to lunch.

The ferry ride is short, so I thought I might not need motion sickness medication, but I was glad I took it! On the day of the trip, a typhoon was approaching, and it was quite rocky. Since passengers were unloaded from three submarines one by one, the time spent on the ferry was relatively long.

There is only one restroom for each gender, and it gets crowded, so it's best to go before boarding the shuttle bus.
