The cruise itself was pleasant, and we were able to see the sunset, but I have to make a candid comment: the price is a bit high. They say it's an all-you-can-drink Mai Tai, but the alcohol seemed weak, and I hardly felt any buzz. There are other catamaran cruises available in Waikiki, so I don't think I'll be repeating this one.

We participated as a couple. It was a nice day with good weather in the evening, so we were able to enjoy the cruise comfortably. It can be a bit chilly, so having a long-sleeve T-shirt is convenient. There are restrooms available, but I recommend using them before boarding if possible.

I was anxious because I couldn't speak English, but the person explaining things was able to communicate in Japanese, so I was able to understand everything without any issues. After that, we headed straight to the beach! The lesson was right in front of us on the beach! Although the lesson was in English, it was fine with gestures! They quickly taught me the tips to stand up, and I was able to ride the waves multiple times. They even took photos of me riding the waves, which became the best memories! I highly recommend it!

I was late for the meeting time, but it was okay! I was the only Japanese person. In other tours, even if there was just one Japanese person, they would often reach out (of course in English) and show concern, but this time, there was absolutely no consideration, and I wasn't even asked if I wanted a drink refill. (Maybe they intentionally didn't ask since the other people were quite active.)

The other large group was having a great time at the front of the netting area (a wet spot where you could get splashed). However, it was quite cold, so I didn't have the luxury to join in. The sunset was beautiful, and there were turtles, making it an enjoyable cruise, but since I'm not very strong with alcohol (of course, there are soft drinks available), I felt it was just an ordinary cruise with one can of juice.

Well, it was average. The sunset looked more beautiful from Magic Island, and I can see turtles on other occasions as well. For those who love alcohol and can drink about ten cups, it seems like a great deal. I recommend it for those who understand English to some extent and want to have fun with a group on the boat.

カメも普通に他の機会にたくさん見れますし。
お酒大好きで、10杯くらい飲める、という人はおおいに元が取れる感じ。
英語がある程度分かって、グループで船に乗って騒ぎたい人にはおススメです。

One hurricane had already passed, but another was still offshore; despite this, the weather was clear and the conditions were perfect with no waves. The sunset was beautiful and it was the best. Besides our family of four, there were only four young women, and most participants were from Europe and America. Due to a pickup trouble from another parasailing experience, we were an hour late and participated with my 14-year-old son. He was satisfied as he was able to stand up and ride the waves early on. Since we were an hour late, I think we only had about an hour left for the lesson, but after the other participants left, it turned into almost a private lesson, and we were able to enjoy an extended time. Thank you to the Japanese staff member, Aiko? (I hope I’m not mistaken ^_^) for handling the pickup trouble. I definitely recommend this tour. As for me, I had to give up after 30 minutes due to a recurrence of back pain! (It was because of the hotel’s too soft bed! Just an excuse ^_^;) It's a shame I don't have any photos.

I go to Hawaii every year and was aware of the boats anchored at the beach, but this was my first time participating in this cruise. I've been on regular dinner cruises before, and the food wasn't great, but I wanted my husband to enjoy his first time in Hawaii, and since I love cruises, I decided to join. It was definitely the right choice. The weather was perfect, and on the boat, there was an all-you-can-drink Mai Tai, which I enjoyed since I love alcohol. There were also snacks provided. There were no Japanese people on board, just everyone from overseas. Everyone was very friendly, and we took pictures together while enjoying the sunset and even saw a rainbow. It was the best cruise. My husband said he really enjoyed it too, and since we could disembark in the evening, we were able to go for a delicious meal afterward, making the most of our time. It was fantastic.

To be honest, I didn't have high expectations because the price was on the lower side, but it turned out to be an experience that exceeded my expectations. Although I've visited Hawaii many times, I've never seen such a beautiful sunset before. We were all deeply moved! It felt like we were abroad since everyone else was from another country. The weather was nice, and it was a very pleasant sailing experience. I think an hour and a half was just the right amount of time—not too short, not too long.

They were selling drinks for $5, and I wanted to have one, but I decided to skip it just in case I got seasick. The waves were minimal, so I might have been fine to drink. Next time, I’d like to try the sunset cruise.

Since I was accompanied by an elderly person and a child, I booked a submarine tour where we could enjoy the underwater scenery without getting wet.

We took a boat from the beach out to sea and approached the submarine to board it. Although the sea was a bit murky due to the storm, we were still able to fully enjoy the underwater views. It seemed that the scenery was better on the left side than on the right side of the submarine. Additionally, while you can listen to explanations in Japanese through headphones inside the submarine, having some understanding of English allows you to enjoy the real-time commentary even more.

It was both of our first times surfing, and we were excited and nervous. The instructor didn't speak Japanese, which made me even more anxious about whether we would understand, but they taught us in slow and gentle English, so we were able to grasp everything.

We practiced on the beach and then headed into the ocean!

The instructor pushed us hard when the waves were good, and I was able to stand on the board and ride the wave on my first try! It was just exhilarating!

After that, the instructor sent us out alternately, which made me feel very secure.

Riding the waves was of course fun, but just floating on the board while waiting for our turns and the waves with my friend felt amazing!

An hour flew by, but by the end, my arms were at their limit, so one hour was just right for beginners.

One thing I definitely recommend is to use sunscreen!!! I don’t usually burn easily, so I didn’t apply much, but since we were lying face down in the water the whole time, my calves and the backs of my thighs got really burned! If you don’t want to get too much sun, please apply sunscreen generously on the back side.

I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

2人ともサーフィンをするのは初めてで、ワクワクドキドキ。。
先生は日本語を話せない方だったのでちゃんと分かるのか更にドキドキしましたが
英語がたいして分からない私達でも分かるように、ゆっくりと優しい英語で教えて頂けたのでちゃんと理解することが出来ました。

始めビーチで練習をしていざ海へ！！

先生が良い波の時におもいっきり押してくれるので、1回目でボードの上に立ち波に乗ることが出来ました！！
そりゃもう爽快のひと言！！！

その後も友達と交互に先生が送り出してくれるのでとても安心感がありました。

波に乗ってる時ももちろん面白かったのですが、
友達との順番待ちと波待ちの為にボードの上でプカプカ浮いて居るだけで最高に気持ち良かったです！！

あっという間の１時間
しかし、終わる頃には腕に限界がきていたので初心者には1時間がとてもちょうど良かったです。


ひとつ絶対にした方が良いと思うのは、とにかく日焼けどめです！！！
私はあまり日焼けに抵抗が無いので、そんなに塗っていなかったのですが、
なにせずっとうつ伏せで海に浮かんで居るわけですから、ふくらはぎ、太ももの裏側がものすごーーく焼けます！！
あまり焼けたく無いという方はこれでもかって言うくらい、裏側に日焼け止めを塗って下さい。


また機会があったら参加したいです。

First off, the employees at VELTRA went out of their way to ensure our booking was confirmed and they even delivered a confirmation page for our sunset cruise directly to our hotel. Absolutely fabulous service all around !
When we arrived at the beach at the required check in time, friendly staff welcomed us as we waited to board.
Once onboard, the crew went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an amazing time! Even though this is listed as a " Cocktail Sail " , it was also a very family friendly atmosphere for our teenage Daughter as well, she had a most enjoyable time and not to worry, they have a variety of free non- alcoholic beverages available onboard too. They offer a photo option of your family / group prior to boarding which we normally would not buy but the background and picture quality came out so incredible and was worth the 15 dollar fee ,they have the print in a cardboard folder waiting for you upon your return to shore if you decide to purchase it.
This sunset cruise was a superb value for the low price , from the amazing Crew, to the smooth and safe sailing , and the fun music and relaxing atmosphere , it was a great way to meet so many other nice people on our Hawaiian Vacation! This was one of our top experiences on Oahu.
Simply put, we cannot wait to do it again on our next visit to Waikiki!

This was one of our favorite excursions. My husband, kids, brother and niece were very glad I booked this. The scenery was wonderful, the sunset was gorgeous, and the two crew members were so much fun. My kids are 26,24,and 21, and they still had to get pictures behind the wheel of the boat. I would recommend this even if you do not want to drink the unlimited maitia's! We sailed around Diamond-head Crater and saw the lighthouse which was really cool.

Every time I visit Hawaii, I always ride without fail!! If you come to Waikiki, you must ride it! Being a little tipsy on the ocean... it's the best. You can see a different view of Hawaii from Waikiki Beach.

My childern, ages 16 and 21, and I had the best time on the Sunset Cruise! It was one the top highlights of our vacation in Hawaii! The crew members were awesome! They took care of all of our needs. They took many pictures of me and my children and a couple of "selfies"! They were so much fun!! Everyone on the cruise seemed to be having a blast! The even caught a huge mahi mahi while fishing! We saw a beautiful rainbow and a little of another one to make a double rainbow! We had so much fun, we didn't want it to end! Thanks for a fantastic time!!
